Zunächst einmal anstellen dass einem als Gast ein Tisch zugewiesen wird. Dann kommt aber keine Bedienung, also selbst ist der Gast und sucht sich einen freien Tisch. Tischdecke aus aufgeschäumten Plastik leicht ekelig. Da fallen die Essensreste durch und der nachfolgende Gast kann sehen was vorher bestellt worden ist. " Kunststoff Korbsessel" kleben am Po, danach hat man das Muster auf seiner Haut. Ein Sitzkissen wäre hier eine Wohltat, dann kann man hier auch länger sitzen. Der Koch bewegte sich im Aussenbereich, wenig appetitliche Kleidung, verschmutzt und trug dazu gelbe Gummistiefel. Die Pfannkuchen waren geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber optisch war es die Anrichte- Dekoration der 80 er Jahre. Es ist Saison von frischen Aprikosen und auf dem Pfannkuchen waren welche aus der Dose. Verrostetes Dekomaterial , Fahrrad machten einen vernachlässigten Eindruck. Die Bedienung kam Kaugummi kauend auf uns zu. Manchmal machen Kleinigkeiten aus, ob es dem Gast gefällt oder nicht, hier ist deutlicher Optimierungsbedarf. Kritik wurde hier in dem Forum schon öfter geäußert, aber das Pfannkuchenhaus entwickelt sich Gastronomisch nicht weiter. Schade .-(((

These restaurants are great!!! Has been fulfilled from A to Z as a guest. From the food to the waiter there is nothing to complain about, the waiters are totally attentive and very personable!!! I really liked it, you can leave a good tip there! I have never seen such a friendly and attentive waiter and I really appreciate it!! The menu is very varied for pancakes, but everything tastes as good as the pancakes themselves!! I can only recommend it for tourists or assembly troops who are in the hotel nearby!

It's been a while since we were there. We were lucky and were able to sit in the beer garden without a reservation. The selection on the menu was overwhelming. I had no idea what you could put into a pancake. All I can say is it was delicious, really delicious. And more than enough. I had a whole hunter and had to take half of it home. Ich habe heute Abend mit meiner Frau in der Coenenmühle gegessen und bin enttäuscht und bestürzt zugleich. Ich hatte einen Bauernpfannkuchen gefüllt mit Mettwurst,Bratkartoffeln und Speck.Dazu sollte eine Sauce Hollondaise gereicht werden.Nach über einer Stunde Wartezeit kam dann ein schlapper,zugeklappter Pfannkuchen,gefüllt mit matschigen,zum Teil halb rohen Kartoffelstücken,die mit knusprigen herzhaften Bratkartoffeln nichts gemein hatten.Die vermeintlichen Kartoffelstücke waren nicht einmal angebraten sondern glichen optisch eher Knödelstücken.Die dazu gereichte Hollondaise war ein Klumpen den man kopfüber halten konnte,der Inhalt verblieb in der Sauciere.Ferner befand sich im Pfannkuchen noch eine kleingeschnittene Mettwurst,an der die störende harte Pelle nicht einmal entfernt wurde.Wir haben dort sehr schön gesessen,die Bedienung war nett und höflich,aber mir ist absolut schleierhaft,wie man dieses Restaurant weiterempfehlen kann.

I ate with my wife at the Coenenmühle this evening and am disappointed and dismayed at the same time. I had a farmer's pancake filled with Mettwurst, fried potatoes and bacon. It was supposed to be served with a hollondaise sauce. After waiting for over an hour, a limp, folded pancake arrived, filled with mushy, partly half-raw potato pieces that had nothing in common with crispy, hearty fried potatoes The supposed potato pieces weren't even fried but looked more like dumpling pieces. The hollondaise served with it was a lump that you could hold upside down, the contents remained in the gravy boat. There was also a chopped Mettwurst in the pancake with the annoying hard one on it Pelle wasn't even removed. We had a lovely meal there, the service was nice and polite, but I have no idea how anyone can recommend this restaurant.

Die ganzen negativen Bewertungen kann ich leider nicht nachvollziehen. Und wir waren jetzt schon zum 8ten Mal dort. Wir würden jedesmal freundlich empfangen und ebenso bedient. Das Essen ist lecker. Keine Sterneküche, aber das steht ja auch nirgendwo. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, aber auch da erwarte ich bei einer alten Mühle nichts anderes. Was meint ihr denn, wie eine alte Mühle von innen aussieht? Wie ein Restaurant aus 2055? All unsere Mahlzeiten wurden immer ordentlich und ohne Beanstandungen zubereitet und wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren.

The waitresses aren't at work at all. One is totally unfriendly and watches you on the way to the toilet with really strange looks. Unfortunately we were all completely disappointed. And we paid €45 for two people and almost €70 for the other three… (for one meal and one drink each). We loved the Coenenmühle. But after yesterday it was unfortunately the last time and it remains a nice memory

Well... Chilli con carne didn't really taste good. Service, the waitress didn't even smile, seemed rather annoyed and you had the feeling you weren't wanted. On offer...clocky, a bit narrow and chairs without cushions.

Dear Mr. Goehrke, We were regular guests of your previous owner. Everything was great. Unfortunately the pancakes no longer taste good. The fluffy thing has disappeared. They are thick and don't bake brown anymore. The pork medallions were well done, very dry and hard. The Bolognese on the other pancake was only peppery and spicy and otherwise bland and, in my opinion, did not contain a tomato (one of the most important ingredients). The pancake with nut nougat cream was spread in about a quarter of the dough with an estimated 1 teaspoon of cream. This is more than economical. We chose dessert from the menu at the next table (where no one was sitting). The waitress asked us very snippily if she could now put the card back. I hadn't even put it down yet. The crowning glory came when I paid the bill of around €67 with €70 and the waitress asked if I wanted any of it back or if it would be correct. After reading the request in your replies to negative reviews that you would like more details, I have detailed my review. It would be nice if you, as a restaurateur, took criticism to heart instead of being offended. Otherwise, in the future you'll prefer to visit another pancake house where it tastes better and the service is professional. Then it can't be a copy.

Great selection of all kinds of pancakes and nice atmosphere. We have stopped on the terrace several times after hiking. The house lemonade is also highly recommended! However, I unfortunately (!) have to deduct a small point due to the service and would like to have been treated more friendly.

Went there for dinner today with 6 people. 5Menus were great. Unfortunately I chose the wrong one for my taste. I didn't want to complain about that at all. But the waitress was so attentive that she noticed it immediately. Without batting an eyelid, I was offered an alternative. The “complaint” was taken into account on the invoice. I have never experienced such great service before. Just great. And I think it's completely okay that it doesn't always suit everyone's taste. I was allowed to try the others and they were all very tasty.

Noch nie habe ich eine solche Kreation aus Räucherlachs, geräucherter Forelle und Grönlandkrabben auf Reibekuchen mit Meerrettich Sahne Creme und Salatdekor genossen - einfach toll! Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal im Pfannkuchenhaus. Mich hat das Lokal nicht begeistert. Die Bedienung war in Ordnung. Ich hatte den normalen Apfelpfannkuchen, den fand ich zu süß und man hat auch Salz im Teig raus geschmeckt. Dekoration drauf wie in den 50iger 60iger Jahren. Mein Mann fand seinen Speckpfannkuchen sehr lecker. Mir hat der Vibe des Restaurants in Summe nicht gefallen. Innen muffig riechend und dunkel. Draußen auch irgendwie ungepflegt und lieblos. Diverse rostige, seltsame Dekoelemente, Noppige Plastiktischdecken, ein ungepflegtes Blumenbeet. Nur die Toiletten waren im Jahr 24 angekommen und sahen toll aus.

My son went for the simple version based purely on cheese and chopped ham and my wife went for the version with pieces of chicken breast and broccoli. She found this to be rather bland and dry but our request for extra sauce made with blue gorgonzola cheese made it more enjoyable. All in all, this was a nice Friday evening dinner - and having a meal based on pancakes makes a change...
