If you're in Hameln, you should definitely stop by the Pfannekuchen Restaurant🫶. We were there two evenings and tried a variety of dishes. Everything was not only deliciously prepared but also lovingly presented and very generously portioned! If you want to enjoy regional specialties, this is the place to be 😋

The restaurant is located in an old half-timbered house and is highly recommended. It's a bit hidden away, but easy to find using Google Maps. The staff greets you warmly and quickly comes to your table to take your drink order. The selection of pancakes is truly extensive, with something for every taste. There's even a separate menu for allergy sufferers, vegans, and others. You're probably familiar with sweet pancakes, but here I tried a savory version with ground beef, vegetables, and hollandaise sauce. Absolutely delicious and a great idea for making at home.

A great concept and great dishes in a historic setting with a small but very nice courtyard beer garden. The dishes are hearty and quirky...but very tasty. A great experience!

Went there for dinner with friends once. The service was among the most polite I've ever experienced. Fantastic. The pancakes are amazing and really filling. They taste incredibly delicious. My only criticism: Use a little less cheese on the pancakes. I ended up removing the cheese from the pancake at some point because there was really too much cheese. Fans in the ceiling would make everything even more perfect. In warm weather, the experience is already exhausting, as a breeze doesn't stand a chance in the place. We would love to come back.

Super delicious pancakes, with something for everyone, whether sweet or savory. Lovely, friendly staff and a lovely, cozy little outdoor area in the courtyard...a MUST for any stay in Hamelin...and then this delicious beer from the Engel Brewery.

On our trip to Hameln, while looking for a vegan restaurant, we immediately noticed the Pfannekuchenhaus. Not only does it offer a wide selection of options, but they also have a special menu for vegans, etc. 🥰 The house itself is worth seeing; in fact, I only saw a small part of it, as it's very convoluted. We were lucky enough to get a table in the small, cozy courtyard, where the Virginia creeper grows over our heads. 😍 The food was delicious, the service was good, but the ambiance was the best part.

What an atmospheric building, that alone is worth a visit. The pancakes are simply good, but the ingredients aren't all fresh.

The “normal” food was really good but the vegan and lactose free ones were pretty bad. So, come if you don’t have special food needs. Also, all the four dishes were brought at different times. Nice service and cute location though.

Charming restaurant. A few years ago, we ate inside, but this time there was seating outside in the courtyard. The weather was great!

A great atmosphere, super-friendly reception and service, and a large selection of delicious pancakes guarantee a pleasant time. There are even Tonie boxes with headphones and games for the kids.

It was very tasty but there were very long waiting times

Unfortunately, it was rather disappointing. We waited 20 minutes for our order to even be taken, even though the place wasn't particularly busy. Then another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The coffee tasted more like water. The pancake with quark and "summer fruit" was equally tasteless. The summer fruit, incidentally, was just canned cocktail fruit. The criticism was met with a "Yeah... yeah... sorry." I can't really understand other reviews.

Anyone visiting Hameln must visit this cute restaurant. The staff is super friendly, the menu is huge, and the pancakes are incredibly delicious. I wouldn't have thought there would be so many different options. The place is really cute, with lots to discover in the little nooks and on the backyard terrace.

A superb restaurant just outside the city's touristy areas. We really enjoyed our stop at this restaurant because everything was perfect: the food, the service, the welcome, the atmosphere, and the comfort. The crepes are delicious and, above all, very generous. The location is charming, and at the back, you'll find a lovely secluded terrace.

The pancakes themselves were okay, but the lamb was very dry and so tough that we found it inedible. The regular size is a lot. But they serve small portions, which we appreciated. The service was friendly, but mistakes (something they didn't order) ended up on the bill, so be careful! We struggled to use the online ordering functions, but then the food never arrived. When we asked, we were told it wasn't working, even though another employee had initially taken our drink order that way. Online payment is ultimately "not configured." If the digitalization doesn't work, it's best not to offer it, otherwise it will cause frustration. Children's games can be borrowed free of charge upon presentation of an ID card.

Highly recommended. I was here about ten years ago, when I was very young, so I was very curious to see what it looked like and what it was like. The food was perfect for my taste. I had a pancake with fried potatoes and a fried egg. As for the atmosphere, I have to say it's very cozy; there's something to look at everywhere, which makes the wait much more pleasant. The staff are also friendly, helpful, and kind—nothing to complain about.

If you're ever in Hameln, Pfannekuchen is a must-visit because of its excellent, varied and delicious pancakes. The dishes are well worth the price and come with generous toppings. Great food and the Atmosphere of the old building was great.

The service really leaves a lot to be desired. We've finished eating for 25 minutes, and no one has come by. Last time we were there, we even went downstairs to pay. I think it's outrageous. We usually like coming here, but we're completely forgotten about. So if this doesn't improve, we won't be coming again. It's a shame; we've always enjoyed coming here.

The selection of pancakes is really large, my choice #28 was really delicious. Add to that the excellent service from the two young employees, it was all worth the trip from Paderborn. I'd be happy to come back anytime!

A real recommendation: A very good restaurant that focuses exclusively, but skillfully, on pancakes. A delicious selection, something for everyone. If you can, you should go on Mondays; they have "Tasty Monday" with smaller pancakes for €5 each, so you can try several different varieties. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Hamelin. Friendly service and spotlessly clean.

Ich habe aus der Frühlingskarte das Gericht gewählt: Pfannkuchen mit Kohlrabi und Möhren mit frischen Kräutern. Ich bekam einen Pfannkuchen mit Erbsen, Möhrenwürfel und Spargelstücke alles TK Gemüse. Von frischen Kräutern war nichts zu sehen. Außerdem war der Pfannkuchen viel zu dick. So schlecht habe ich schon sehr lange nicht gegessen. Und das für 13,80 € Ich habe über die Hälfte zurückgehen lassen, weil es einfach ungenießbar war.

Not a culinary highlight (the pancake soup was good, the pancake with applesauce was disappointing), the location and the ambience even more so. That's why the visit is worth it. Service very friendly. Definitely make a reservation!

The pancake I had didn't quite match the description: instead of fresh figs, dried figs were used. And when they are gratinated, you get hard figs. Not nice. After waiting over an hour for our dessert, we had to pass up. No waitress came near us during that time. What a shame!

I would put 6 out of 5 for this place! Definitely a must see and eat in Hameln. The pancakes are delicious, the place is with a unique atmosphere, and the service is just very friendly and caring. What surprised me the most is that despite the cafe running for 40 years, it is clearly visible that owners continue to enjoy running this business. The menu has English translation, you can order with NFC, while staff is working with smartphones and have headphones to connect directly to the kitchen to speed up the process.
