Petra‘s Kantine in Weißenfels

It's a cozy restaurant, the service and food are good, you can have a good chat, and you can easily recommend the restaurant.

We were spontaneously looking for somewhere to stay overnight in Weißenfels. Booked by phone 3 days in advance. Inn closed, so no dinner and no breakfast. We were basically cashed in between the door and the hinge in the stairwell. The house seems pretty run down. The room was very dingy, dirt on the window sills, hair on the fitted sheet, hair in the shower. Sorry, but the furniture looked like it was from bulky waste, no matching bed linen. The table top and bedside table stuck.

Yesterday I spent a lovely evening there with my wife. As always, it was very crowded. Nevertheless, the service was top and the food was very tasty. Tip: If you offer steak, pay attention to the correct cut and dressing. All four courses were tasty. It just took a little too long. We still felt completely comfortable.

A very nice, rustic restaurant with wonderful food. Everyone who loves schnitzel will be fed up here
