Despite the full terrace, we were greeted very friendly and attentively. Overall service was very professional. The food came in a reasonable time and was very tasty! The price is high but you don't eat at the snack stand either. The atmosphere on the terrace is really nice. We'd love to come back.

Beautifully located on the Saale with a large terrace with evening sun. We ate very well and trusted the landlady's recommendation. The restaurant was also very busy during the week, be sure to make a reservation!

Unfortunately, my visit to the Weißenfels boathouse was anything but satisfactory. Although the atmosphere was appealing, the food left a lot to be desired. My dish was cold and tasted very bland. The portions were also rather small for the price you paid. The service was also disappointing. The waiters seemed overwhelmed and weren't particularly friendly. It took forever to place our order and even longer for the food to finally arrive. Overall, I cannot recommend the boathouse. I was hoping for more and will try a different restaurant next time.

Ich war vor kurzem im Bootshaus in  Weißenfels und leider war es eine sehr enttäuschend Erfahrung. Die Atmosphäre war zwar schön, aber das Essen war einfach nicht gut. Mein Gericht war kalt und  geschmacklos,  und die Portionen waren viel zu klein für den Preis, den ich bezahlt habe. Der Service war ebenfalls unaufmerksam; wir mussten lange auf unsere Bestellung warten und die Kellner schienen überfordert und desinteressiert.  Als ich nach einer Beschwerde fragte, wurde ich nur mit einem Schulterzucken  abgespeist. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen und werde  definitiv nicht  wiederkommen.  Es gibt viele bessere Optionen in der  Umgebung!

Very nice location and the food is, with one exception, consistently good. The prices are consistently far too high compared to comparable restaurants. A 25 percent surcharge is certainly not justified here, neither by the quality of the food, nor by the portion size and certainly not by the service. The latter is also the biggest point of criticism: two service staff appear untrained, cannot cope with the electronic ordering system at all, and are unable to find the dishes on the changing menus in the system. You also wait far too long for service with empty glasses; no one pays attention to the guest here. Unfortunately. The boss is quite friendly, but in the end you have to expect more in this upscale category.

Something for everyone. Also fresh cakes (just ask). Food and drink don't take long to arrive. Everything tastes great and the drinks are nice and cold.

Average food for above-average prices, I go to restaurants quite often, this restaurant is in the lower range when it comes to price-performance ratio. The waitress was, to put it mildly, annoyed if you didn't order everything you wanted right away. A pot of coffee, which is a slightly larger cup for 4.70 euros, is something I have never experienced in any holiday region in Germany and the side salad, which I ordered with vinegar and oil, was served completely dry. Will be the last time I eat there.

Der Abend war von der Reservierung über die Bedienung bis zum Essen eine absolute Katastrophe. Die Reservierung, online, sowie telefonisch, klappte nicht. Gerichte waren nur unvollständig zu bekommen, teure Beilagen wurden gegen Salat ohne Dressing ausgetauscht, aber der Preis blieb gleich. Das Personal war zum Teil sehr schnippisch und unhöflich. Wir waren schon öfters im Bootshaus essen und immer sehr zufrieden, jedoch können wir nach dieser Enttäuschung das Bootshaus nicht weiter empfehlen.

Went to the boathouse today as a couple with a baby. Were there around 12 p.m. Service was nice and we had our drinks quickly. We ordered goulash. After about 40 minutes we were informed that the goulash was out. For Sunday lunch!!! Incomprehensible!!!! New starter and main course ordered. After waiting another three quarters of an hour, I had everything canceled. Drinks were on the house. We were in the boathouse for the first and last time!

Party service was great and everything was delicious.

Various drinks and food were out. I ordered water, which wasn't brought after 1 1/2 hours. In my opinion, the prices for drinks and food are completely overpriced.

Went here for dinner in the early evening. The location is great, if the weather is good you can sit on the terrace with a view of the Saale. Parking spaces within walking distance. Inside there is a small guest room with a bar and next to it a larger hall. You think, yes, nice excursion restaurant. But what we got on the table really surprised us. First of all, the map is nice and clear, which is a good sign. Everyone was really extremely happy with their selection. The food was very tasty, creative, perfectly prepared. A big compliment to the kitchen!! The combination of zander with the salad was surprising and very, very tasty, the beef fillet was of incredibly good quality, as was the skewer and the knuckle of pork. We can really only recommend the restaurant!! Last but not least, very nice service. Thank you for the lovely evening!! We'll definitely be back.

The 4 of us had lunch at the boathouse today for Mother's Day. I had sent an online request as a reservation in advance. I quickly received an answer saying that we could also choose the buffet for €34.50. Since it seemed a bit expensive for us, I declined in an email reply and wrote that we would stick with a la carte. Today we arrived and found out that only the buffet was available. A la carte is not possible. Of course we had no alternative and stayed. The buffet includes many side dishes, but the selection of meat left a lot to be desired and was, in my opinion, very special. Unfortunately, leg of lamb, ribs, roast beef and pangasius fillet are not for everyone. During the three hours we were there we only discovered 4 small schnitzels once. Fruit was completely missing, when I asked the staff if there was any more fruit, the only response was a harsh "no". Unfortunately, antipasti plates weren't really refilled either. So for €34.50 we found the selection very poor and it wasn't possible to eat half of that money. We would have gotten off much better a la carte. What should be mentioned as very positive, however, is that due to the misunderstanding, we got our drinks for free. That was very nice.

Hello, I was invited to a birthday party. The entire staff was really nice, friendly and demonstrated a very high level of professional competence. In other words...the food, drinks and service are simply top. The same, consistently positive, can also be said about the entire location. Definitely a thumbs up.

Discovered a wonderful restaurant, Bootshaus Weißenfels 🌹🫂🌹, located directly on the Saale. A great range of food and the value for money is very good. With a view of the Saale, clean and very comfortable. Absolute recommendation. We had pork knuckle and gratinated sheep's cheese. The waitress and the staff were very friendly. Since today was Women's Day, I was given a glass of champagne for free and, when I asked, even a second one, free of charge. The only drawback if you're not that good on foot is that going up the stairs can be quite complicated.

Really tasty! We had pike perch and salmon with the tastiest fried potatoes we've had in a long time. Small, fine menu with coordinated, easily combinable dishes. Pleasantly full and very satisfied, we now go for a walk along the Saale.

It's been a long time since we've been to the boathouse for dinner. Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour 15 minutes for our food! Especially since we were there with a child who was slowly losing patience. It wasn't busy, only 2 other tables were occupied. We were neither told before ordering that it might take longer that evening, nor was anything said while we were waiting. Completely unacceptable! The food was good.

Super Service, richtig lecker und der kleine Gruß aus der Küche hat tatsächlich sehr angenehm überrascht. Nahezu ein gastronomischer Skandal ist die Worcestersauce von Heinz. Ein professioneller Gast wie ich weiß natürlich, dass die einzig wahre Worcestersauce die Exzellent Sauce Dresdner Art ist. 😉😉

Das Bootshaus liegt sehr schön. Der Blick auf den See ist wirklich toll. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker und der Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lediglich der Geruch im Bad war etwas muffig. Die Geräusche, die durch die Ruderer in ihrem Training hörbar sind, sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber sie trainieren nicht 24/7

Einfach nur schlimm... Das Zimmer dreckig, Boden krümelig und anscheinend länger nicht gewischt, Fensterbretter dreckig und Vorhänge schmutzig und fleckig - ewig nicht gewaschen, Bettwäsche fleckig und Handtücher alt und zerfranst... Das Bad lag auf dem Gang, war also nicht vom Zimmer erreichbar, und es war ebenfalls dreckig. WC, Dusche, Waschbecken haben anscheinend schon lange keine Reinigung mehr erlebt... Von Hygiene hat das Team vom Bootshaus Weißenfels anscheinend noch nichts gehört.

Essen war sehr lecker uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Bedienung war super und sehr freundlich und nett.

Wir kannten das Restaurant vorher nicht und kamen durch eine Radtour entlang des Saaleradweges in den Genuss einer überaus freundlichen Bedienung, eines leckeren Essens (mit Preisen, die völlig in Ordnung sind) und einer wunderbaren Aussicht.

Wir waren dort zu einer kleinen Gruppe zum Geschäftsessen. Es gab leckere Steaks und freundliche Bedienung. Gut, dass wir reserviert hatten, denn die Plätze auf der Terrasse oberhalb der Saale waren schnell besetzt. Auch für Besprechungen zu mehr gibt es Möglichkeiten. Ein bisschen Renovierung in einem eindeutigen, durchgängigen Stil würde das Lokal auf ein höheres Niveau heben. Dennoch, insgesamt lohnenswert für Weißenfels und Umgebung.

Wir haben in Weißenfels umsonst nach etwas Schönem zum Essen gesucht. Der Rathausplatz war extrem tot. An der Brücke zum Bahnhof war irgendein Fest - zu laut. Dann entdeckten wir bei tripadvisor das Bootshaus und machten eine kleine Wanderung dorthin. Volltreffer. Sehr schöne Lage bei einem Ruderverein. Leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal, was will man mehr?

Dieses Restaurant ist direkt an der Saale, man hat einen traumhaften Blick über den Fluss, im Restaurant selbst kann man sowohl draußen wie auch innen sehr gut und gemütlich sitzen, das Essen speziell sie Steaks sin sehr gut zubereitet und schmecken sowohl auch die Beilage wie Pommes Frites und der Salat. Ich finde nur die Preise ein bisschen überhöht.

Wir waren ebenso zum Tanz in den Mai am 30.04.2019. Die Bewirtung war eine Katastrophe. Getränke musste man selber holen und das Platzangebot war so eng, wenn jemand aufstand von dem langen Tisch hinten, mussten alle erstmal ranrücken. Zum Schluß haben wir zuhause festgestellt das auch noch falsch abgerechnet wurde, wir haben Getränke bezahlt die wir gar nicht auf dem Zettel hatten. Hätte man kontrollieren können, aber wer macht das nach einer Feier früh um ein Uhr. Das wir so betrogen werden hätten wir müssen wissen, das ist uns vor 2 Jahrren schon mal so gegangen, da wurde gleich abkassiert und jede Bedienung rechnete den Campari Orange anders ab .

Wir nahmen an einem vietnamesischen Abend teil. Das Essen war echt super. Leider wurde im Essen eine Metallschraube gefunden. Ein Hinweis an das Personal..... ach das ist die Schraube von der Gemüsescheere..... ooh eine Schraube. Mehr nicht. Das Personal war teilweise unerfahren und nicht entsprechend gekleidet. Als Gäste einer Tanzveranstaltung am 30.04.19 erlebten wir eine Erfahrung, welche wir nicht erwartet hatten. Anmerkung durch das Personal... wenn mehr Gäste da sind, holen sie sich die Getränke selbst an der Theke. Und so war es auch. Wir hatten hier nur die Absicht etwas Spaß am Tanzen und Unterhaltung zu bekommen. Getränke haben wir uns vor 40-45 Jahren bereits selbst geholt. Auch hier angekommen in der Servicewüste.

Bei unseren Fahrradtripps an Saale und Unstrut führt kein Weg am Bootshaus Weißenfels vorbei. Das Essen ist preiswert und lecker, man wird schnell und höflich bedient und der Blick ist sensationell. Wir kommen jedesmal gern hierher.

Sehr gutes essen in schönen Ambiente flotte und kompetente Bedienung. Kommen garantiert wieder auch unser hund hat sich auf der Terrasse. Mit wunderschönen blick auf die saale sehr wohlgefühlt

Am 14.9. zur Mittagszeit knurrte unser Magen und wir (4 Personen) haben dieses "versteckte" Restaurant entdeckt. Super nettes Service Personal hat uns empfangen, das Essen aus der Küche ist einfach nicht zu toppen! Vielen Dank!
