PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar in Chemnitz

We arrived without a reservation. A very friendly welcome. Despite high demand, the staff went to great lengths to find us a table. 6 stars for that. The location is nicely centrally located. Nice view. The food is like every other Peter Pane restaurant. Burgers are delicious and creative. Overall, a wide selection. We'll be happy to return. Be sure to make a reservation for larger groups.

Very tasty food and very friendly staff would be happy to come back again

Hello, we spontaneously stopped by for dinner with our daughter on Friday evening. It was packed, but the staff could have a table ready in less than five minutes! We ended up eating upstairs. The lovely Florian provided excellent service, took great care of our little one, and was generally one of the best servers we've ever had! I highly recommend this restaurant!

It was very tasty! I would recommend the hero and the mixed fries with truffle cream and hollandaise. Just be prepared to wait a bit.

Very tasty and great atmosphere!

The food and drinks were good. The space on the lower level was very cramped. You sit back to back with strangers, with no backrest or privacy. Unfortunately, that doesn't give you the feeling of staying long.

The Peter Pane is a very nice, quiet, and authentic restaurant. It offers a variety of delicious dishes and drinks. I can also highly recommend the fries, as they are very unusual and lovingly prepared. The service is very attentive and friendly, especially Toni, Florian, and Lina.

Disappointing experience at Peter Pane – cold food, unappetizing, and unprofessional service Five of us went to Peter Pane and paid a total of €139 for cold, unappetizing food and poor service. Our burgers and fries were served lukewarm and cold, respectively, which should not be up to the standards of a burger restaurant. The burger patty felt like it had just been heated in a microwave, and the fries were far from fresh and crispy. When the server asked if everything was okay, I politely pointed out that the food was cold. The response was unprofessional and unfriendly. First, they claimed the food had been served immediately, then told us that "there's nothing they can do" and we just had to accept it. The excuse they gave was that the kitchen was closing soon – even though they still had over two hours of opening time left. The server then even became aggressive when I gave my honest feedback. By comparison, we went to Hans im Glück a while ago, and it was simply wonderful! The food was fresh, hot, and arrived quickly. Every bite was a delight, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Hans im Glück really shows how it's done—everything was just right there, from the service to the quality of the food. For the price at Peter Pane, we would have expected much more—fresh, hot food and respectful service. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Peter Pane.

So, I was there today and got cold food. I'm just disappointed and paid too much money.

The burgers taste good! On Saturday evening the restaurant was very busy and we had to wait longer until we could order or the first drink arrived at the table. You sit pretty cramped on benches with the next table back to back.

It was a beautiful evening. The food was very tasty and the selection of vegan products was very large. The music was just a bit loud and it took a while for the food to arrive. The restaurant is also very nice.

As visitors to the Capital of Culture, we were looking for a relaxing place to take a break - and we found it at Peter Pane! The friendly and attentive service immediately welcomed us and guided us through the diverse menu. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the burgers and the fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, perfect for a casual evening. A big thank you to the Peter Pane team for this successful culinary experience!

I was with my daughter at lunchtime. This was my fourth time eating there. The food this time was very mixed. My burger meat was dry and had the consistency of frozen patties. The excessive use of sauces should probably compensate for this. My daughter's crunchy chicken burger was anything but crunchy. This pressed something was absolutely inedible and soft and the whole burger had an excessive amount of not particularly tasty tartar sauce. I let this go back without a replacement because my daughter and I had lost our appetite. It was also very cold. We were both cold the whole time and sat at the table with our jackets on most of the time. Conclusion: Price-performance was not at all good. It had nothing to do with fresh food. I give it 2 stars because of the fries and the thirst quencher

It's worth a visit, very friendly service and delicious food

Nice restaurant, but: Unfortunately it took over 15 minutes to even get drinks and a menu. It's a shame if you as a guest have the feeling of not being noticed. The service staff should be trained in this regard! The food, on the other hand, was prepared quickly and very tasty.

It wasn't my cup of tea, but it's something for civic lovers.

There isn't much good there, once and never again. There's a two-hour wait to get your food, and only when you ask. The cellar works according to the motto “out of sight out of mind”. We were also told that online orders are given priority to guests in the store ( Lieferando comes first). When the food came, it was cold. Cold burgers and fries just don't taste good. Seats were uncomfortable and everything was very narrow and noisy. The table next to us was completely ignored, they were accompanied to the table but nothing more. I picked up the menu myself and only served it when I told the waiter.

The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was also very convincing. The location right next to the Altmarkt with a view of the old town hall is really nice. We sat on the first floor of the restaurant. It was just a shame that there was no coat rack or coat hook directly on site.

I ordered from this restaurant for the second time today, hoping that my negative experience the first time was an isolated incident. Unfortunately I was disappointed again. The first time I had to wait two hours for my order, and today my order was simply canceled after a whopping 2½ hours. This happened despite the fact that I had placed my order well before rush hour. The way customers are treated here is absolutely unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect at least a minimal form of professionalism and respect. This expectation was in no way fulfilled here.

The burger “Land of Cockaigne” (for me without jalapenos) was the absolute high-flyer, both visually and taste-wise, downright delicious. The name says it all for the burger!! 🤩 Unfortunately, due to the only stools and wooden benches available at the tables, I can only give it 2 points for the ambience.

Perfect for a nice date. We had a pleasant table in the back area and therefore peace and quiet to ourselves. Bea, the service is super friendly, we were noticed and asked several times if everything was OK, despite the fact that we were sitting so far back. We'd love to come back and hope that the friendly wait staff will be on shift again. 😊

You wait forever for your food and get in a bad mood

Spontaneously discovered it while shopping in the city and decided to take the lunch table. Super delicious fresh burger (choice of 3 types of bun) with fries or coleslaw, plus 0.5l homemade lemonade. Simply delicious, quick and super filling. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and explained everything to us very well. Gladly again!

We went there for lunch for the first time today based on some recommendations. The atmosphere is great, cozy and modern. The menu was very appealing. Our food tasted good, and even though it was busy, it arrived on time. The waitress Aliye was very nice and accommodating. That rarely happens. We felt really comfortable. Would love to come back.

Food generally tastes good when it is warm. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case with all burgers. Our waiter was very friendly. However, we had to wait a long time for the menu and the food. In general it is very cold in the restaurant. All 3 of us were cold and felt a bit uncomfortable.

It was my first time in Peter Pan. Well, what can I say, eat not so cold and not so hot. Friendly staff. I would definitely come back with my family!

There were eight of us today at Peter Pane Chemnitz. It was really shocking. The staff was absolutely incompetent. The lady seemed overwhelmed as soon as she took the order. The food came in 3 stages, so that the first ones were finished by the time the last ones had their food. The burgers were lukewarm, as were the fries. The dessert was served on warm plates, which goes well with frozen yogurt. The ambience is nice, as in any of these restaurants, but this one was really dirty. Fat fingers everywhere! We have visited several of these restaurants, but Peter Pane Chemnitz is by far the worst, by far. Dirty, lousy burgers and incompetent staff. If this had been our first visit, we would have given this chain a wide berth. Even after we communicated our displeasure to the staff, nothing changed. We would have expected a supervisor to address the complaint. Really a shame.

We were there last night and were very impressed. The food was very tasty and the service was very good, friendly and you felt like you were in good hands. Gladly again 👍🏻

The bar is very clean, the drinks are naturally prepared and fresh, the burgers have high quality meat and vegetables, the buns are fresh and taste wonderful, the fries are not greasy and taste delicious, the music is very good, and Aliye was the one Very friendly and helpful all the time, which we really liked and we will definitely come back.

I spontaneously came here for a coffee yesterday afternoon and was greeted very warmly. The service gave me very good advice and recommended many things. I chose the ice coffee and the barmaid prepared it very well. Super delicious 👌🏻I'll definitely come back to try out the food on offer. On the way home we had a blueberry lemonade and that was also brilliant.

Ordered there for the first time today and unfortunately very disappointed. 1 menu was completely missing and the rest was cold even though a desired time was stated. I tried to call the restaurant, but unfortunately it was in vain for half an hour despite it being open. So my child had to forego his menu, which he didn't think was great.

We went to the restaurant spontaneously because I had already had positive experiences with Peter Pane in Hamburg. We hadn't reserved a table, but we quickly got a seat for two people. Very friendly staff and of course excellent burgers. Price performance absolutely fine. The only small point of criticism is the beer. Here you could perhaps add a second, better variety to the range. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Chemnitz and of course I'll come back to Peter Pane. Clear recommendation for all burger lovers

Typically fast and standard. You can eat and pay. Tastes good too. Unfortunately there was a drink on the bill that we didn't even have.

With a small child we asked in advance if we were to expect long waiting time. It was confirmed that the service was quick. Well..We waited 1h+ to have our (unsophisticated) burgers ready. We had to remove the salad as it was clearly not in good condition. The waitress was nice but she told us there was only one (ONE) employee in the kitchen. In a more general scope this „Personal Menge“ is around everywhere in Germany. But still it was really bad. if you have children I would really recommand to avoid this restaurant.

Waited 1 hour for our food. Agnus beef paddy was very dry, in no way justified the extra charge! Service was totally overwhelmed. The ambience was actually good, but the staff didn't make sure that the entrance door remained closed, guests kept standing in the entrance door, so that cold air constantly came into the guest area, even in winter!!!

Despite the huge rush and longer waiting times than usual, we were well looked after. An apology was made and something was offered as compensation. Despite today and the opening of the Capital of Culture, the service did its best and tried to offer every guest a pleasant stay. We were served directly at the bar by a friendly waitress. Delicious drinks and great food! We'd love to come back! Very strong team despite the state of emergency! Best regards !

First of all I would like to praise the Aliya very much!!! She was very friendly, accommodating and occasionally asked if everything was okay. But her colleague was in no way inferior. The food was super tasty and the quantity was just great. I've rarely eaten better. Price-performance was perfectly fine. Looking forward to next time!!!!

I had the Smashburger. Unfortunately, the patties were extremely thin and seemed pre-made. Unfortunately, the result was not comparable to a really fresh, locally prepared Smashburger. I also found it very bad that the second patty should cost €3 more. Otherwise there would have just been a pattie on it. But €3 is just too much for such a thin thing. However, the service and the ambience were excellent.

A completely wrong order was delivered. We were asked to pick up the right products or suggest a solution. Which is absolutely the restaurant's responsibility. Ultimately we received another call that our order was and will now be canceled. Conclusion: 2 vegetarians have a burger with meat and a canceled order after waiting 2 hours.

My partner (vegetarian) and I were there for lunch today and were thrilled! The vegetarian selection was varied, and both their burger and my classic version were outstanding. We would particularly like to praise the service worker Beatrice: friendly, attentive and warm. Thank you for the wonderful experience – we would love to come back!

The food was very good, unfortunately I couldn't fully enjoy my burger because I ordered it without jalapenõs but then got one with jalapenõs. The other burger and also the fries were great. The service is top and the service staff pay attention to you.

I was at Peter Pane in Chemnitz yesterday and was unfortunately very disappointed. We wanted to drink cocktails around 10 p.m. and left after waiting almost 50 minutes without being served the cocktails! The order itself was only taken after almost 20 minutes. There were sometimes 4 waiters behind and/or at the bar we were sitting next to. Since not all tables were occupied at that time, the behavior of the waiters was incomprehensible and unacceptable. Apparently none of the other waiters felt responsible for us and our waitress was obviously busy and overlooked us. It's a real shame because I've eaten at Peter Pane a few times before and everything always went great.

I ordered the veggie raclette burger. Called an hour after I ordered and asked if they could put cheddar and fried onions on it instead of raclette cheese and caramelized onions. They no longer had the right ingredients. Still had to pay the same price. Vegetarian ones are otherwise quite tasty. You can tell that the meat is of poor quality. The vegan nuggets are a 1/10. Delivery takes a long time.
