The food is delicious and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly.

We had dinner together in the evening, a group of five. The service was very friendly and attentive, and we felt very welcome. Despite it being a busy time, we were served quickly, and everything was to our complete satisfaction. Due to an inconvenience that wasn't the restaurant's fault, we were given a little something extra, even though it wasn't necessary. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The classic burger is fantastic and cheap, especially when you get this in menu. Service was alright though some of the people working here do not speak english. Atmosphere was alright.

There were four of us dining, and we all enjoyed our meal immensely. At first, we were a bit overwhelmed with the ordering process, so we asked the waitress for advice. She explained the different options to us, and we each found the best combination for us. The ambiance is also very nice. It feels like a picnic in a birch forest. Everything was clean, including the restrooms.

Expensive, poor value for money, but nice ambiance. I can get burgers like these at the kebab shop around the corner for half the price.

It was a real "wow" experience upon entering: great presentation, a warm atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and customer-oriented. The food selection: one of the few restaurants that clearly offers gluten-free dishes on the menu!

I always enjoy going to Hans im Glück and am completely satisfied every time. The service is extremely friendly, attentive, and reliable – you immediately feel welcome. The food is simply perfect; the burgers are, in my opinion, the best in the entire city. Add to that the fantastic ambiance: the interior is modern, cozy, and creates a special mood. The drinks are also always a highlight, both in terms of taste and selection. For me, the overall package is just perfect, and that's why I'm happy to return again and again. I definitely recommend it!

A very nice restaurant and excellent if you're in the mood for a decent burger and delicious fries. The latter are also available in several varieties (e.g., sweet potato). The menu offers a lot, especially for vegetarians and vegans. The service is friendly and welcoming, even when the place is full, and the ambiance is also very chic. I only give it a slight B rating because the benches were a bit hard for me and there's not enough space at some of the smaller tables around the bar. But that didn't detract from the pleasant experience, so I can highly recommend Hans im Glück.

Hans im Glück in Chemnitz was a typical Hans im Glück restaurant, with a pleasant atmosphere, delicious burgers, and reasonable prices. The staff was also very friendly. I'd be happy to come back.

We arrived around 4:30 p.m., it was still fairly quiet, and we couldn't choose a seat because we hadn't ordered. That was the only thing we found odd. Even when we left the restaurant, there were still plenty of seats available by the window. Why can't you choose a free seat? Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect!

Yesterday I was at the Hansen Glück restaurant in Dresden – it was fantastic: delicious burgers, beautiful design, a great atmosphere, and fair prices. So I decided to celebrate my daughter's birthday today at a similar restaurant, but this time closer to home in Chemnitz. Unfortunately, the experience was completely disappointing. Right from the start, the waitress, Silke, spoiled our mood: She wouldn't look at us, spoke sourly and rudely, displayed obvious passive aggression, and gave the impression that she didn't want to serve us at all. She got annoyed when we didn't immediately understand that we had to choose the rolls, and she had to explain it to us with obvious displeasure, muttering somewhat annoyedly to herself, making the whole situation very unpleasant. It was as if we had come to her home for lunch on her day off for free. The situation was repeated at the next table with other guests. I'm sure the owners invest a lot in the cuisine and design, but it's just as important to pay attention to the staff welcoming guests. Even good food and a beautiful interior can't make up for poor service. Rating – one star. I hope this feedback helps management become aware of the problem.

The food has been consistently delicious for years. Their homemade sauces for the fries or sweet potato are simply delicious. And a half-liter of drink for €5 is hard to beat! Quality and cleanliness are still a top priority here.

Every bite was a delight! The excellent value for money is particularly noteworthy – rarely do you get so much culinary class at such fair prices. The service was also warm and attentive, which made the entire visit even more enjoyable. All in all, a thoroughly successful evening that I would gladly repeat – "Hans im Glück" is definitely worth recommending.

We visited the restaurant yesterday based on a voucher book. We were supposed to order two dishes, with the cheapest or a dish of the same price being free. After we placed our order, my meal became just a single burger, and my husband's burger became a meal. We were also recommended a side dish to get a cheaper price. In the end, we only received my cheaper burger for free, while the rest of our order was not processed accordingly. We had the impression that everything was not entirely transparent, which disappointed us. Unfortunately, communication with the server was difficult, and we ultimately felt ripped off. We will not be visiting this restaurant again in the future.

The staff and manager are super friendly, the food has always been delicious, and the prices are totally reasonable in comparison! In fact, I prefer ordering from here because I can trust that my food will arrive warm and in top condition—more than on time, too.

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I have to say, the burger I got tonight from Uber Eats was probably the best burger I've ever had, even better than that drunk burger that always tastes better after a few beers. This burger I got tonight was even better than the other one, and I didn't drink a single beer. The sweet potato fries were fantastic, too, and I also got the apple pie, and it was really, really good, almost homemade. My only regret is that I'm only in town for a few nights, and I wish this was my regular burger restaurant back home in Ireland. Or maybe not, because I'd get too fat, the food is that good. I hope the translation is okay.

First of all, the most important thing: the food: It tasted excellent, as always, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. For all those who say their feedback isn't being heard, oh yes, it is, and it was so loud that we as guests heard it. I find it unprofessional to have so many private conversations while keeping guests waiting or evaluating reviews. That should be done in the staff meeting or after work.

Instead of truly addressing our specific experiences, many things were trivialized or presented as misunderstandings. This makes it seem as if the staff were automatically in the right – and we as guests simply "didn't understand everything correctly." Of course, it's important to stand behind your team – but when that comes at the expense of treating guests, something is wrong. It was no misunderstanding that a smaller portion was flatly refused. It was also no misunderstanding that our ordinary change was not accepted. And the tone – including the phrase "I make the rules here" – was clearly unfriendly. We simply didn't feel welcome. This was particularly disappointing for me because I've always been a real fan of Hans im Glück. I've often said how much I like your concept, the food, and the atmosphere. After a disappointing visit to Peter Pane in Chemnitz, where we were also treated poorly, I even wrote that Peter Pane should take a leaf out of Hans im Glück's book. And what happened? Shortly after, I experienced exactly the same thing at Hans im Glück – and I was even more disappointed because I've always had a positive opinion of you and recommended you to others. The food was very, very tasty and the price was reasonable, I thought. I ordered a lunch menu. The burger was a classic with a brioche bun and double beef. It fell apart, but I think that was my fault. The strawberry-basil thirst quencher was also very good. I like that the straws were made of glass and not cardboard or plastic. The golden fries were nicely fried, not overcooked and not undercooked, just perfect. I had a small sweet potato fries with them, but it wasn't bad. The hot chocolate was also very tasty, simply 10/10. The interior is very nicely decorated with birch trunks and plants. I definitely recommend the restaurant. The service was also very friendly.

Four of us ate at Hans im Glück in Chemnitz. Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. One of our group wanted a smaller portion because she wasn't very hungry. The waitress wouldn't allow it. She said small portions were only for children and wasn't at all willing to make an exception. So we had to order a large portion, even though it was clear that was too much. We didn't think that was fair or customer-friendly. Why can't you just eat less if you ask nicely? Then another unpleasant situation arose when paying. We wanted to use about three euros in small change (€1, 50 cents, 20 cents) – which was perfectly normal money. But the waitress said she wouldn't take it, they had enough small change. That's actually legal tender. If someone only has that, what happens? Do they have to leave without paying? That doesn't make sense. The worst part, though, was the general way we were treated. The waitress wasn't friendly; she made us feel like we were a nuisance. Maybe everything was too hot or too much for her, but that's not how you treat guests. A phrase like "I make the rules here" was used to us – and that really says it all. The four of us paid a total of almost €80. That's not a small amount – you expect respect and hospitality for that. I really wonder if the boss or management is aware of this behavior. I always feel so comfortable there, and that was confirmed again yesterday... we went to celebrate our son's birthday with our children... our boys are both diagnosed on the autism spectrum, which can lead to, among other things, overstimulation, some situations can be loud, or seem disrespectful to outsiders... Of course, as parents, it takes some courage to go out anyway... but at Hans im Glück, we were able to dare, and it was sooo great... thank you so much!! Special thanks go to Elisabeth and the young man at the bar yesterday (whose name I don't know), who sensitively prepared the cocktail with our son... THANK YOU... keep it up ❤️
