PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar in Kiel

We went there on a friend's recommendation and were not disappointed. We had a lovely evening with delicious burgers! There's also a great selection for vegetarians/vegans. Finally, a restaurant that recognizes that vegetarians don't just eat vegetables, but also love cheese sauce and BBQ! 😋😋😋

Peter Pane serves good burgers and delicious cocktails. The restaurant has a very cool layout and is beautifully decorated! You can sit comfortably in the booths, but at some tables you'll have to make do with benches without backs or, even worse, sitting back to back with another customer. That may be the concept of the restaurant, but I personally find this much physical contact with a stranger very strange.

Top local! Incredibly full, you should definitely make a reservation. We didn't have it, but we were warmly welcomed and escorted to a seat after a short wait. Appears structured and guest-oriented.

Basically a tastefully decorated location, very friendly service. When it came to the food - and this is completely subjective / just my personal (!) taste - some dishes were appetizing, but some dishes were also just "chic" average. If I compare this to other restaurants (and here I'm just looking at price/quality), I'd rather choose a different restaurant the next time I visit a restaurant. For me personally, the given quality/quantity is only partially in a reasonable relationship to the price. But it is currently “en vogue / hip” and for our requirements (4 people, 160€) it was completely ok for the given purpose.

The ambience and service are good. However, I didn't think my vegan burger was very good, somehow something was missing despite the good pattie. My companions didn't really like their non-vegan burgers either because they were unfortunately cold.

We've been to a few Peter Pan Bars. But this time only 3 stars. We had reserved a table for two at 7 p.m., arrived at 6:53 p.m. and received our food at 7:47 p.m., very late in my opinion. The burger wasn't exactly hot either.

The food and atmosphere were great, and on top of that we also had a really nice service person (Dustin). We'd love to come back, it's nice to see if someone else enjoys their job 😊

The food was delicious but unfortunately when we paid the waiter ripped us off instead of paying for the menu. Contrary to that, the day we were with another girl was a blonde, she was nice and explained everything to us and calculated the menu for the same meal at the same time but different bill 🙈

Everything is chic and design wherever you look. But then you sit on hard wooden beams and lean on the person behind you? That doesn't fit. Prices are pretty high. My small burger without anything on it cost 16 euros. Good offer. The service could be more attentive.

Yesterday I had dinner at Peter Pane with my friends and it was really good. The service was very friendly and quick. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The food and cocktails were very tasty. The fries in particular were nice and crispy. All in all it was a nice visit. We can definitely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

When we are in Kiel we often eat at Peter Pane. The “Feige Goat” burger is particularly recommended and is always very tasty :) Service is also friendly when things get stressful because everything is full.

Great atmosphere and delicious food – an all-round successful experience! I recently went to Peter Pane in Kiel again and can only warmly recommend it! The atmosphere is super cozy and modern, and it feels a little like “coming home” every time. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which no longer seems to be a given these days. The highlight was and is definitely the food! The burgers are simply fantastic – fresh, juicy and with great ingredients. The selection is huge, so there is something for every taste. I particularly like the changing action cards. The cocktails are always worth a trip and are perfect with food! All in all, a completely successful stay. It wasn't the first time I was there and definitely not the last time!! I will definitely come back and am already looking forward to my next visit to Peter Pane in Kiel!

The Peters Pause offer, which only costs €10 for a burger, side dish and a 0.5l drink, is really unbeatable. On top of that, everything tastes very good and is of high quality. In addition, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Highly recommended!

The nice thing about chains is that you know what you're getting. And if you have a favorite burger, then you have a favorite burger. Good burger, good fries, selection of drinks is good. Better half always happy because she has enough choice even as a vegan with gluten intolerance.

Unfortunately, we had mixed experiences during our visit. The restaurant was very busy so we had to wait over 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food. The loud music in the restaurant caused the guests to also talk very loudly, making conversation at the table almost impossible. The wait staff was polite and responded to hand signals, but lacked a bit of efficiency. For example, after eating we had to wait another 15 minutes for the bill because the waitress was busy with other tasks. The clean toilets are positive. However, soap was not refilled nor paper towels were provided during our visit. About the food: The portion of fries has become noticeably smaller, and unfortunately my fries were already cold when they were served. It seemed as if they had been finished long before the rest of the dishes came to the table. I would have expected more for the fairly high prices in the upper segment. All in all I would rate the visit 3 out of 5 stars. There is still room for improvement, especially when it comes to service and the quality of the food. Improvements would be desirable.

Yesterday we went to Peter Pane with 5 people. Our waitress (Neele) was simply great. The food was very tasty and also pleasing to the eye. Even though the place was full, we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. I'd love to come back. :)

We had a very good experience. We got a table spontaneously on the weekend evening, fast service, good teamwork and the food came quickly and was delicious.

I was there, and I had to go to take the menu myself then no one came to take the order. I tried to call them many times, and no one cared when I left. That was the worst experience I have ever had.

The store is very busy and it was loud! We really had difficulty conversing. The food is okay, but the prices are already way up. What I didn't like at all was the seating. If you do it badly, you have no backrest and/or you sit back to back with someone and lean there! The waiter was a bit overwhelmed and so we wiped our reserved table ourselves! Mayonnaise and other sauces from the pot, I don't know. So I didn't think it was bad, and I don't want to do anything bad. But I wouldn't go there again! 85 € for 2 people (for burgers, fries, 3 drinks) is already great. And then not sitting properly, it doesn't have to be that way!

Went there with friends after a gym session. Loved the cheeseburger and fries that I ordered. The only thing that we didn't like, was the table we were seated at. It was definitely too small for 3 people.

Kamen zur Mittagszeit. Nur 1 Bedienung im Restaurant. Nachdem wir auf die Zuweisung des Tisches schon gewartet haben, dauerte es nochmal 15 Minuten bis die Dame nach Nachfrage endlich kam um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Alles dauert zu lange. Man wird ungefragt geduzt.

It's always nice to eat at Peter Pane. They are very tasty burgers with great variety. The atmosphere is great for me as a nature-loving guy. Plants and moss are real and not just decoration. There is also an audio book playing near the toilet. Generally great and in my opinion an acceptable, but upscale, price range.

Disappointing. The prices have gradually increased, the burgers have become smaller and the toppings are sparse. Where there were once half mushrooms on the burger, there are now only small pieces. The cheese is now only given as a wafer-thin slice. All in all, overpriced burgers in a chic canteen atmosphere.

The price-performance ratio is not in balance here.

I was at Peter Pane last Tuesday and was served by lovely Jasmin. A super friendly and courteous service force! She does an excellent job and we also really enjoyed the food. Gladly again.

If you are looking for an all-round perfect burger restaurant, you have come to the right place. It's just nice to see how the employees have fun with each other and with the guests. I come from the catering industry myself and unfortunately that's not a given! Keep it up!

A nice restaurant in itself. The seating is quite small, making it a bit cramped. the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. However, the prices are now just too high for me, so I rarely eat at Peter Pane anymore. In my opinion, meat can be expensive, but a very simple vegan/vegetarian burger costs just under 12 euros. If you then want a handful of fries (5€, which is also quite excessive) or a drink, you have to budget a bit of money.

The service was great, the food was ok.

The food is good and also a good selection of vegan and vegetarian options. The service is tried hard, but there seem to be too few people for the size of the restaurant. We had to wait 55 minutes from when we placed our order until we received it. Our neighboring table was even longer. It's not always so easy with children. The environment is very loud and noisy. Conversations are difficult. A backrest would be very comfortable on the benches for a longer stay.
