PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar in Kassel

It was incredibly good, and everyone was super friendly and helpful (there's room for a stroller). The burgers were fresh, juicy, and incredibly tasty. The best sweet potato fries I've ever had. I would have loved a second burger, but I couldn't fit it in. I went home happy and satisfied. They also had a nice cold beer 🤩 I'll probably be coming here more often now 😊

Ordering online was quick. The price/performance ratio is very good thanks to the 20% discount for pickup. The pickup time was stated as 20 minutes, but after 38 minutes, we all received our food, and we even received chips as a gift to mark the 18 minutes. The food is freshly prepared, hot, and tastes fantastic. We order from/go to Peter Pane Kassel again and again.

The food, a burger with fries, was delicious. A lunch menu with dessert and a drink costs around €25, at least for the burger I chose. There's also a smaller lunch menu, which is cheaper. It's nice that the sauces (ketchup, etc.) are on the table, and you can help yourself to as much as you like. The staff seemed a bit stressed. Peter Pane should probably allocate more staff. Otherwise, though, it's definitely recommended.

We were here with several people and were completely satisfied. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had four burgers – one with nachos, the others with a shared fries mix – and everything was fresh and delicious. The drinks came quickly, and the desserts (two chocolate soufflés with a liquid center and two frozen yogurts) were also a highlight. We particularly liked the fact that the server was considerate when paying and asked if it was okay for us, even though we were still eating. Overall, a very pleasant visit – we'd be happy to come back!

The food is terrible, and so are the burgers. The food arrived completely cold, and we don't even want to talk about the fries. Our drinks were missing, and the food wasn't even that good. We spent €70 at your place and got crap. Simply terrible!!!

A very pleasant atmosphere for dining. Especially at lunch, it's relatively quick to grab a bite to eat here... Perfect for breaks and/or free periods. The price is very reasonable, and various options are available (lunch, break, and evening menus). Phil really enhanced our free period with his warm and approachable manner...

Always wonderful. Outstanding food for everyone, especially the vegan menu, which is world-class. The waiters are always friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere is fantastic. We recently celebrated my birthday there and were spontaneously treated by one of the friendliest waiters ever to a round of house schnapps, a round of frozen yogurt, and a lava cake for the birthday girl. It's truly one of the best places in Kassel.

We reserved a table for a lovely Saturday evening. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. We each ordered burgers and chicken tenders. Our server, Bayo, was very polite and gave us good recommendations. We've never had such good burgers. We'll definitely be back soon. 10/10

Not exactly an advertisement, because... The portions look larger in the photos than they actually are. We got hamburgers and fries with very few mushrooms. Still very expensive.

The food was great, there were tons of sauces to choose from, and the homemade lemonades were super delicious. 10/10. I would definitely go again (and not just because Bajo treated us to frozen yogurt ;))

We were a bit shocked by the 90g burger patties that, in terms of taste, appearance, size, and consistency, were very reminiscent of the chain with the capital M. Only for a LOT more money. The fries were good.

Good selection of burgers, as you'd expect from Peter Pane. Unfortunately, it took longer this time than usual, even though we were there just before 5 p.m. The only thing that was extremely annoying was that the staff walked around the dining room several times with cigarettes in their mouths, and you could smell it in the restaurant as they walked past you.

The wait time between ordering and the food arriving was 80 minutes. We were given a bowl of nachos as an apology for the delay. The waiters were friendly, the food was good, but it would have improved the experience if it hadn't taken so long.

Absolutely delicious. The service was super polite and friendly. The food arrived promptly, was hot, and delicious. So no matter which Peter Pane you go to, whether on the coast, in the capital, or here in Kassel, it's always super cool.

The food and staff are good, and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, Peter Pane has eliminated the allergen menu and replaced it with perhaps the most impractical solution: You have to scan a QR code to browse through a dozen-page PDF table on your small phone screen. Of course, you still need the regular menu to see what each burger is. Potential solutions: A physical allergen menu like before, an online version of the regular menu with allergens, or simply listing the allergens on all menus. (Probably time-consuming, but many other restaurants manage it.) Images/screenshots to follow.

Absolutely recommend! The vegan burgers are fantastic, and so were the sides and homemade lemonade! I have to ring the bell like I'm being paid to comment, but I paid for my food and drinks and I'm absolutely thrilled!

Rather expensive, and the taste isn't up to scratch either. Cheeseburger with nachos and beer for €23 It wasn't enough to fill you up. But the quality is great, and the staff is friendly. I won't be going anywhere else; I'll get it for significantly less.

The food offered is of excellent quality. The staff is extremely friendly, although there may be occasional waits during busy times. Additional staffing during peak hours could further improve efficiency. However, we would happily return!

The food itself is very good, but the waiters are, in my opinion, relatively unfriendly, and when I paid, they simply took everything I put on the table. Without even mentioning that I wanted a tip. Unfortunately, it was gone so quickly that I didn't notice it in time. But oh well, if you really need it.

The food was okay — nothing special. You can find a burger like this in almost any burger shop. The environment was nice and comfortable, but the service was disappointing. One of the staff who was responsible for our table was rude and impolite, which really spoiled the experience. Service is what makes the difference, and I hope the team gets proper training on how to deal with customers respectfully.

In short, you feel at home. I ate there with my two kids. Thanks to our very friendly waitress, "Linea." The staff is generally very exemplary. Definitely recommended. I'd love to come back. 🙂

I'm absolutely thrilled with this restaurant! The service is not only extremely friendly but also delightfully fast – you immediately feel welcome. The burgers here are by far the best in the region, both in terms of taste and the quality of the ingredients. What fascinates me most, however, is the unique ambiance. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting and makes every visit a special experience. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good food and a great atmosphere!

I always enjoy coming back to Peter Pane, I am very satisfied and can definitely recommend it :)

I don't recommend it if you're really hungry. I went there with my family, and besides the lackadaisical waiters, I was served a dirty glass with lipstick stains. The chicken burger I ordered was strange—it had a sticky texture in my mouth. The chicken bun also contained some minced meat, which was simply disgusting. Please change something and offer fewer choices but better quality, instead of offering a lot and then messing things up.

A lovely restaurant. Fun for the kids, there are a few rocking chairs and hanging out. Friendly service. However, ordering isn't very clear. We only ordered a hamburger for lunch and got a salad and fries with it, so we paid for it even though we clearly hadn't ordered it.

Despite negative reviews from my friends, I wanted to give the restaurant a try because I'm a burger lover. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. I've had better burgers at McDonald's. And charging so much for them is outrageous. Over €12 for a burger that only had lettuce, one tomato, and an outrageous amount of sauce. We had to put ketchup and mayonnaise on the burger to keep it from being too dry. The lettuce was anything but fresh. I even paid extra to at least get good meat. And yet, it was an insult to the animals that had to sacrifice themselves for it. The meat was dry, rubbery, and absolutely inedible. I've rarely been so disappointed. There are far better alternatives for that price! And as if that weren't enough, I felt sick afterward. Thank you, never again. (But there's nothing wrong with the ambiance and service! Very friendly staff!)

Unfortunately, our visit to Peter Pane wasn't convincing. The burgers tasted more like frozen goods – not very fresh, lacking in seasoning, and overall disappointing in quality. We expected much more for the rather high price. The sides were also nothing special: the fries were more soft than crispy, and the service was a bit carelessly served. It's a shame, because the restaurant makes a good visual impression. I would like to highlight the service, however – the waitresses were very friendly and attentive, which at least improved the overall impression somewhat. However, that alone isn't enough to justify another visit. It was simply too expensive for what was offered. Anyone looking for truly good burgers will probably be disappointed here.

We discovered the Peter Pane by chance. Not only does it look very inviting from the outside, but it's also cozy inside. The service is excellent; we even received good advice. The drinks came quickly and were good and large. We've been there twice now and had onion rings (the portion was large), the waffle with cherry and ice cream, which tasted fantastic, and the breadless burger called "Schlaraffenland" (we've never eaten such a good burger, an absolute 12 out of 10). All in all, top-notch! Friendly service, lovely atmosphere, and really good food. We will definitely be back.

The service was very friendly and courteous, orders were taken quickly, and we didn't have to wait too long. When the place was busy, the wait was a bit longer, but at full capacity, it was understandable and not a problem.

Overall, unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The staff were overworked, everything was dirty, and we waited too long. The quality and taste were as if frozen food had been poorly prepared and then left out for too long. The price-performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired. The waitresses are very unfriendly and roll their eyes at customers when they ask questions about their food. Additionally, several times our orders were simply forgotten, and we had to wait over an hour for our food.

Our four-legged friend got a drink before us. Attractive interior with a well-stocked bar! (If you're counting the cleanliness of the restrooms... during our visit: very clean!)

My companion and I were recommended this restaurant because it was supposed to be delicious, and that was certainly the case. However, I was appalled by the service. The restaurant was almost empty, and the service was still quite slow. It took an eternity for the waiter to arrive at our table, and another eternity until we got our food. Which I initially didn't think was a bad thing; after all, the restaurant is known for its delicious dishes, not for the service. The food was delicious. After we'd finished our meals, we ordered another hot chocolate. Another 20 minutes passed before it arrived at our table. Time isn't the problem. What I had with it, and why I'm writing this review, is that the bartender felt the need to slam the rim of his glass three times with the palm of his hand before preparing the hot chocolate. Sorry, but I wanted to drink from it, which isn't appropriate. Conclusion: The food is damn delicious, but the staff is a disaster.

A very large and delicious selection of burgers. Very child-friendly staff and delicious children's dishes. We recommend online reservations (often even last-minute same-day reservations are possible). I wholeheartedly recommend them.
