Five Guys Kassel, Königsplatz in Kassel

I have to admit, I've been to Five Guys several times in the USA and London, and now we wanted to try it out here in Kassel too, and I was a bit surprised at the prices. 2 burgers with 1 portion of fries and 2 drinks for 41€? What? Sorry the portion of fries was tiny for “normal”. The burgers were delicious, but the refills of all the cola were empty. So I don't recommend it, we have better burger shops there.

We were very happy with the food

So first of all: The burgers are super tasty and, above all, fresh and not frozen stuff. The map is very clear, which I welcome. It's better to have a handful of dishes that are really good than a huge selection and only mediocre quality. I like the inside of the store. Towards the 50s style... But at the same time it's a bit cool, maybe that's because of the high ceiling... But the whole thing is fine. What leads to star deduction: I love sitting outside. There are also enough seats in front of the store. Unfortunately, it seems that these are used almost exclusively by non-guests to lounge around. On my last visit I would have loved to take advantage of the last hours of sunshine of the year. Unfortunately, at this point there were two teenagers sitting there who were loudly talking about what they did with some girl last night, a lady who was smoking some disgusting stuff, a teenager who was loudly watching videos on his cell phone and a homeless man who, to be honest, was calling me least bothersome. Things don't look any better at the side entrance. Here, I think they're called Talahon's, hang around, spitting on everything, leaving their rubbish lying around and occasionally using the corner as a toilet. I don't understand the operator's negligence here.

I did not expect such a buzz! Cheeseburger in the format of tearing a rotyaku. Hearty and super tasty... Bacon cheeseburger, the best I've had in Kassel. Fixed price drinks are fire. The best short, the BEST!

Great employees, great fries, dry burgers with weaknesses and prices that are too high; no plates, bowls, cutlery or similar. The restaurant itself is also very loud and we found the train station or hospital atmosphere that others described just as uncomfortable. Half of the fries were packed in a paper cup, the other half was scattered loosely in the paper bag. We ate on site, mind you. We didn't receive any cutlery.

What were the “Five Boys” thinking with this concept??? That doesn't work at all! The burgers are wrapped in aluminum foil, even if you want to eat them in a restaurant. The burger is completely soggy and mushy after unpacking. The bottom patty in particular had the consistency of raw dough. Why do you do that? The reasoning that the burger doesn't get cold quickly by the time you get to the table is ridiculous. The fries are simply thrown into a large paper bag in a cup that is much too small, so that after a short time the fries that fall out become greasy and also soggy. There are neither trays nor plates. A food culture therefore does not exist. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant is more like a train station hall. Everything seems very cold and uncomfortable. Then the price-performance ratio! In my opinion that's not true either. For a normal hamburger + fries + a cola almost 20 euros is very steep. In addition, the service staff speaks very poor German, so communication is very difficult. Suggestions for improvement: 1. From a health and environmentally conscious point of view, stop using aluminum foil 2. Serve fries in a larger paper cup or paper bowl 3. Provide trays 4. German course for the service employees

Drinks machine not well adjusted, very watery taste

I've been to Five Guys quite a few times now and for me it's the best burger place in terms of taste. The prices are a little more expensive, but it's absolutely worth it. You can choose the toppings for the burger individually. They also have the best fries that even have the potato peel on them. The taste is great and they make more and more, with a small portion that's more than enough. I also drank a peanut Oreo shake, which was also very tasty. Cream is included in the price. You can also get as much mayo and ketchup as you want. Clear recommendation 😊 PS: I read in the other reviews that some people complain about not having a tray. You have a bag that you can eat out of and the burger is also wrapped in foil.

We went there, saw the prices and left

I was there today for the first time and also for the last time. Totally unfriendly and completely overwhelmed employees with a total of FIVE GUESTS. Burger lukewarm, fries cold. No tray, no cutlery, nothing. When I politely asked whether there was also service outside, I was told that it was self-service. For a burger, medium fries and a soft drink (ok refill) I paid almost 25 euros. Never again !!!

I haven't had such a delicious burger in a long time. He was exactly as I would have wanted him to be. Yes, sauce ran out, yes paper bag, aluminum foil and a bit crunchy, but I like burgers just like that and that's Five Guys. Burgers in other restaurants often don't appeal to me, even if they look fancier and nothing comes out.

In fact, the ingredients seem to be fresh, I haven't had such a good burger in a long time, and the fries were excellent too.

Much was expected but unfortunately disappointed by the hype. The quality of the burgers is not worth the money at all. In terms of taste, every burger tastes better somewhere else. Fries for 8.50 that weren't even fully fried is just a joke. The service really wasn't very accommodating, which would be very desirable. It was our last visit to Five Guys.

Kassel's Five Guys. First off all, I might be a bit biased with my review. I went to a Five Guys for the first time in 2014 and that was when I was in the US with my parents. So I always have a similar feeling to the first time I was in Washington. The food is actually always the same and delicious if you like that type of burger. My special recommendation if you like it is to order a strawberry milkshake and then dip the fries into it. Depending on where you live and the distance to the restaurant, you can also order food via Lieferando. The first time it was cold for me when the food arrived and the second time a few days ago it was still lukewarm but this time the fries were still "crispy" in terms of Five Guys fries. I can really recommend it.

Everything was great - the service was very friendly, I like the look of the store and the concept of Five Guys is great. However, you pay restaurant prices here, for 1x hot dog with fries and drink & 1x burger with fries and drink 45€ 😶‍🌫️

Weird shop, a burger or hot dog that you can get without a bun etc. or you pay extra for extra ingredients.... There were lots of little flies coming out of the trash can next to the sauces and on the wall, just disgusting. At least the employee I spoke to immediately took the garbage container away and took care of it. The food went like this but it won't be my favorite, it will stay with one visit

Food was very tasty. Branch very clean. I liked it very much.

At first we were shocked by the prices, which are at restaurant level in a fast food atmosphere. But in the end the portion of fries was big enough for everyone. It's a shame that the drinks only had sweetener, but again it was good because our children spilled two cups.

Store itself ok, clean. Staff a bit overwhelmed. Fries flew around in the bag because the cup was much too small. The burger was ok but aluminum foil doesn't work at all unless you like mud.

Clean, location appealing. Unfortunately, the burgers, which are expensive but good, are rolled in aluminum foil before being served. This makes them unsightly and mushy. The free refills for the extensive selection of drinks are good. Sauces such as mayo and ketchup are also unlimited. Fries are great.

Quite standard five guys place although the bacon cheese burger was really tasty just like the Cajun fries. Great for when you feel like a little piggy.

It was clearly better at the beginning, unfortunately the last two visits have led me to visit other owner-managed community stores. It's a shame that at the beginning I gave the American charm a clear chance.

Nettes Ambiente, wer auch mal auf Kühlhausoptik steht, sehr hell und sauber.Geschmacklich gut, nicht sehr gut, Pommes sehr lecker. Doch Preis/ Leistung passt nicht. Grosse Pommes für 8,5 Euro, Cheeseburger fast 12,- Euro. Softdrinks und Bier passen, zumal free Refill bei Cola und Co gegeben.

Kann man mal machen aber ist nicht wirklich ein Muss. Umwelttechnisch ein absolutes No-Go, ich könnte das mit der Alufolie außer Haus noch verstehen aber beim Essen vor Ort absolut nicht. Man wickelt alles dick in Folie um es dann in eine Tüte zu packen, damit man es kurz danach wieder auspackt. Das Ambiente hat den Charme von einem Schlachthaus und die Akustik ist viel zu laut. Für mich persönlich passt hier das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht.

Ingesamt eine stabile Fast-Food Kette, die ausgezeichnete Fritten herstellt und die Burger sind Geschmacklich auch über dem Niveau der anderen großen Mitbewerbern. Toppings sind frei wählbar. Leider schmecken die Brötchen nicht besonders gut und haben Luft nach oben. Sollte es mal zu längeren Wartezeiten kommen, kann man sich ein paar Erdnüsse nehmen und in der Zwischenzeit knacken und snacken

Die Location ist super. Wenig Leute, super Atmosphäre wo mann sich nicht bedrückt fühlt. Personal ist freundlich und erklärt mal gerne wenn man nicht weiß wie die Speisekarte funktioniert. Klar, über den Preis kann man streiten aber die Qualität schmeckt man raus. Das mit dem Getränkeautomat ist auch cool gemacht und das man trinken kann wie viel man will. Essen kam auch schnell und Portionen waren angenehem. Zusammengefasst ein tolles Erlebnis komme gerne wieder wenn ich wieder in Kassel bin!

By far the best burger you can get anywhere. People will complain about the prices (€12 for a bacon cheeseburger), but there is simply no competition for the quality of burger that is offered here. Best fries, best shakes, great staff. If you haven't tried Five Guys, what are you doing with your life?

Due beste Alternative zu Mcs oder Burgerking

Wer hier isst macht das Cholesterin zur Herzenssache. Man muss allerdings das Konzept verstehen um es lieben zu können. In einem Provinznest wie Kassel ist dies leider eher schwierig. Geboten wird großartiges Dirty Food, das nicht vorgibt etwas anderes sein zu wollen. Die oft kritisierte Alufolie ist unersetzbar um die Burger ziehen und die Aromen verschmelzen zu lassen. Da in Deutschland „Mülltrennung wirkt“ und Aluminium zu 100% recycelbar ist, sollte dies somit auch kein Problem darstellen. Ein ehrlicher Gegenentwurf zu den teils heuchlerischen Veggie-Läden, bei denen ein Teil der Lebensmittel dann doch aus der Tiefkühlung/der Konserve kommt. Das Fleisch ist frisch und die Qualitäten der Zutaten rechtfertigt den höheren Preis. Überaus leckere Burger, Hotdogs und Pommes. Sehr nette, serviceorientierte Mitarbeiter. Die obligatorische Erdnüsse sind jedesmal ein Muss. Ein bisschen nervig sind die vielen Toilettenschnorrer, die man hier wortlos gewähren lässt.

Der Burger ist geschmacklich OK, aber halt nicht spitze. Dementsprechend stimmt aus meiner Sicht das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Beim HotDog ist das Missverhältnis noch krasser. Der Preis ist aus meiner Sicht auch deswegen nicht zu rechtfertigen, weil der Restaurantbetrieb kostentechnisch durchoptimiert ist: Man holt in kargem Ambiente sein Essen selbst in der Papiertüte ab. Gegessen wird auf Papier, abgetragen wird selbst. Die Innenausstattung ist sehr funktional, die Deko sind ein paar Kartoffelsäcke.

Gewohntes Five Guy Ambiente. Super freundliches Personal. Die Pommes waren einfach Perfekt (dünne grosse Schicht außen, weich innen, wie gewohnt mit Schale für mehr Geschmack), das Fleisch vom Burger war auf dem Punkt gegart. Ich bin wieder mal Glücklich und satt.

Fast Food der gehobenen Klasse! Sehr lecker. Aber nicht günstig. 1 Small Cheeseburger, 1 Getränk, 1Hot Dog und eine kleine Pommes über 20 Euro, Ambiente leider einer Bahnhofshalle. Essen vor Ort auch aus der Tüte. Sehr nettes Personal.

Ich bin zum zweiten Mal hier und der Burger ist lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich, spricht aber besser Englisch als deutsch. Preis Leistung passen aber einfach nicht zusammen. Für 12.99 bekommt man bei Burger King zwei Whopper, Pommes und Getränk. Dort schmeckt es auch. Qualität der Zutaten kann ich als Kunde einfach nicht überprüfen oder positiv am Geschmack beurteilen. Ich habe einen "little Cheeseburger" und einen Getränkeflatrate Becher für das gleiche Geld erhalten. Es gibt übrigens keine Sprudel. In Deutschland keine Sprudel? Der Eistee war aber lecker.

достаточно вкусные бургеры вкусная картошка и классно что можно взять стакан за 4 евро и пить столько напитков сколько захочешь но конечно цена очень не радует 12 евро за обычный чизбургер это ну так себе картошка была сильно пересолена там было слишком много соли и попадалась какая то слишком старая картошка из фритюра если бы картошка была бы не пересолена и не все такое дорогое поставил бы 5 звезд!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, etwas teuer aber von der Qualität einfach sehr gut und somit ist der Preis akzeptabel. Einen Kritikpunkt habe ich allerdings...das alles in einer Tüte an den Tisch kommt, gerade die Pommes muss man sich mit der Hand aus der Tüte suche, bei dem Preis sollte das schon etwas schmackhafter serviert werden.

Die beste Crew und leckeres Essen. Ich bin selten in einem Burgerladen so nett empfangen und beraten worden. Das Essen war auch superlecker.

Kann die durchschnittlichen bis schlechten Bewertungen hier nicht verstehen. Klar, im vergleich zu anderen fast food ketten ist five guys etwas teurer, aber ich fühle mich danach absolut nicht so schlecht wie bspw. Beim goldenen M. Ich bekomme hier genau das, wofür ich bezahle, nämlich richtig schön süffige Burger die lecker sind und absolut starke fritten.

Mega freundlich und Geschmacklich 1a

Der Laden ist ein Meisterwerk des Designs.An der Kasse kam mir ein netter Mitarbeiter der mir die Menükarte erklärte.Besonders die Fries und die freie Auswahl an toppings waren das Ding was den Laden von anderen abhebt.Die Akustik war ganz okay.Die Musik hätte Lauter sein können.Besonders um die Geräusche aus der Küche zu verringern.Die Getränkemaschine konnte man mit gratis refulls so oft bedienen wir man wollte.Auch die Sorten hab ich zuvor noch nie gesehen und so eine riesengroße Auswahl.Ich bin echt fasziniert und komme gerne wieder.

Ganz neu in Kassel, mit viel Luft nach oben. Das Team ist nett und zuvorkommend, der Burger kam nach knapp sieben Minuten, leider war das Fleisch geschmacklos und der Bun war labrig und fade, die Saucen allerdings wie immer gut und lecker! Burger immer noch in Alufolie verpackt, ist nicht gerade umweltfreundlich aber halt FG like. Ich hoffe die Qualität der Burger und der Pommes wird noch besser, ansonsten für die Qualiät zu teuer.
