Peter Pane in Berlin

I went to Peter Pane with some friends this evening, we really enjoyed the evening. Great restaurant, well attended and super organized. Very courteous service, we had the pleasure of speaking to Lara today and received very friendly advice and service. Definitely recommended.

LOTS of vegan and vegetarian options! Food was tasty! Service was great but very slow. It's nice because you don't feel rushed but I think as an American I'm always, low key, in a rush.

Just wanted to highlight and endorse the waiter and waitress who served us, first in Germany we actually felt taken care of and treated with smile. First tip that felt right to give. Also, good food!

We took the lunch break. It includes a burger, a homemade soda 0.5 and a small side dish. The offer is mega at €10, which saves you a whopping €9! Between 3 different ones ~ You can choose from burger bread, types of meat and side dishes. Highly recommended👍

firstly, a lot of bees in the area so be careful if you’re getting a beer or a coke cause you’ll be fightin them for your drink. The meat wasn’t very tasty, even with all the cheese and sauce we still didn’t enjoy it much. the cheese fries were as bad as cheese fries could be. i would rather have my burger at a regular fast food joint than here.

The evening in this restaurant was a pleasure:) Best raspberry spritz ever. the service is wonderful and the bartender Rodaen made our evening pleasant with the best drinks🫶

Worth a look if you are after a burger and don't want to find yourself in any of the more well-known chains. Service is excellent, is done with a smile and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Very dark and atmospheric, too; ideal if you are travelling solo and want to "hide in a corner" :-)

The woman standing at the front of the counter (current time 5:03 p.m. on September 9th, 2024) is one of the best workers I have ever met in my life and one of the nicest!!!! This Peter Pane is a sensation thanks to such employees!

Busy place, great service. Burgers were not juicy and not very flavourful. Wouldn’t come back for the burger if I have to be honest, there are better options.

So to compare the others, we found yours the best, you felt very comfortable. The service from Jan and his colleague was simply great, extremely sweet and super friendly. It was very nice with you, even if it was just a cocktail, but we know that the food is very tasty. The restaurant is also so lovingly and warmly furnished. The beer wasn't cold and the meat and bacon in the Käse-speck were overcooked and partly burned. The waiter asked if I wanted a Black Angus, so I ended up paying more for a tough and potentially carcinogenic piece of meat.

If you’re a tourist that doesn’t speak German, avoid coming here. The menu is in german and the waiters avoid serving you. Took us 15 minutes just to get the menu. After that, nobody came to serve us so we left after what felt like ages

Unfortunately really disappointing. I expect a lot more from a burger restaurant in this price range than dry fried frozen paddy and bacon that has apparently been under the heat lamp for a while. I was seduced by the positive reviews and was unfortunately disappointed. The service and the drinks were great, but unfortunately the food wasn't so great. Apart from the fries, it's hard to mess them up.

The sofas are the only drawback.

The hamburger on promotion has no flavor, is dry and is worthless (one from Burger King or McDonald's is more recommended). The only good thing is the potatoes with meat sauce. The service was terrible, there was never any waiter to order anything, our waitress disappeared and we had to wait 15 minutes to pay because others did not want to charge us and when she returned, she started serving other tables. A shame. We will not repeat, obviously.

EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE: the manager first refused to seat my partner and I (the restaurant was half empty). When we finally were seated, he came after we only had a minute to look at the menu and wanted to take our orders. We asked for just a few minutes to decide and then he left and proceeded to ignore us for 20 minutes. In the end we were so hungry we decided to go somewhere else. So while we would love to have been able to try the burgers, we did not get the chance to. I’m not sure if the restaurant was just severely understaffed or if the staff are woefully incompetent, but either way in the future a warning about the potential 30 minute wait time would be helpful to save everyone’s time.

Didn’t get to try their burgers because they never came to take our orders. Be careful, you have to fit to waiter’s mood and terms or else they will not allow you to spend money here

After the wrong Coke was brought and then the right one came straight away from the waitress, which is no reason to write a review, we were bombarded with instructions from two staff members one after the other. How we should address the waitress, etc. Although we were quickly ready to de-escalate the discussion, the instructions didn't stop! I have never experienced such patronizing of a guest in my many restaurant visits in 50 years! Once and never again here!!

Very tasty food. And very nice staff.

I loved that the restaurant offers many vegan and vegetarian options at once, while also having many meat burger options at the same time. The service was good and the people were very nice. It may be a bit pricey for some but the taste is definitely worth it. And also the food keeps you filled for quite a while, you wouldn’t get hungry easily after, a quality that many restaurants lack most of the time.

Were there for the first time today and wanted to sit down as a couple. Then the waitress (southern woman) came and said to us that she was giving us a seat. Then I asked why?? She replied the space was for six people. We said everything was clear. We then sat down at the table she assigned to us. Then we noticed that everyone else was also sitting in pairs at the tables where supposedly only six or a family were allowed to sit. We couldn't explain why the two of us weren't allowed to sit there even though many seats were still free. We then left the place without ordering anything.

Mega tasty, expensive, but delicious

Not the best burger experience in Berlin. The burger was too saucy and the patty is bulk machine made and lacked flavour, plus there were bits of tendon and bone brushed up in it. Could improve on the service of the maitre D who had a sour face and attitude.

Very great and delicious restaurant. Service a little stressed but still very nice :) I can ONLY recommend this place for people visiting Berlin!

If you’re fan of Peter pane burgers , don’t wait to visit this place to meet the rudest waiters in world . The rudeness starts at the entry where the staff(the lady manager who carries the machine ) will without listening to you shout and mention the waiting time and say the we have waiting to be seated while I could see more than half tables were empty. Upon asking again in German , she will reply in English in derogatory language that don’t you understand what I said in German !! If you’re going to spend 20€ per person and a total bill of 100€ I would suggest to visit nearby burger place where the staff is polite

Something very average everything. The employees tried hard, but the quality of the food was relatively low. Salad on the burgers not edible. Wouldn't necessarily go there again.

Great lunch menu offer! Great value for burgers, fries and a large drink. Particularly noteworthy is the pleasant atmosphere created by the friendly and cheerful staff. Abi and her colleagues are very attentive and quick. Absolutely recommended.

GREAT burger joint! No matter whether you want to eat burgers, any kind of fries or salads, lots of drinks with or without alcohol. Delicious! Ambiance is great, both inside and outside. Toilets are constantly checked and cleaned. Staff absolutely top class, everyone was nice and funny too (Abi in particular is very reliable! She was mostly "responsible" for us :) ). Absolute recommendation to everyone!

So the shop is just like Hans im Glück and the food is just as soulless in my opinion... A smashburger that hasn't been smashed. Homemade iced teas that are simply tasteless, very watery, too much lemon and no mango...

The sandwiches are very good and they also have many vegetarian and vegan options, good ingredients but before entering you have to be aware that it is a bit of a scam. The prices are decidedly high (impossible to spend less than €20 each). The problem is that they try to attract customers by putting out this hypothetical €10/€8.90 menu which is actually the price for chips and a drink to which the price of the sandwich must be added which at MINIMUM costs 10.90. If they were more transparent with prices I would definitely have given a higher rating. Furthermore, the wait is also high

We arrived late at night before the kitchen was closing. We were still offered a table, even if only for a short time and four more chocolate cakes were baked especially for us. The drinks were delicious and the cakes were fabulous. We were served by Abi and Josi. Both were extremely nice, helpful and didn't make us feel guilty for arriving late. The evening was still very entertaining and I will definitely be back in the near future. But then a little earlier.😉

It's a very nice place The employees are friendly. Hamburgers were very delicious At the entrance, it says "wait at the door" in German, but we went and sat down because there was an empty table. They seemed to act a little rude towards us, but then we caught up ☺️☺️☺️

The employees are very rude, they are not kind to tourists and those who do not know the system, they have a sarcastic attitude.

Decided to eat there because we were in the neighborhood and the place looked nice. Service was good and fast. However the burger (beef) was very dry, flavorless and quite expensive. There are probably much better and reasonably priced burger spots if you do a little research.

Very nicely decorated, toilets super clean and well maintained. Every waiter has a slightly gay touch, which was actually very positive. Our waiter wanted to fill us up straight away and did a very good job. Food came quickly and was tasty. All in all a great experience

The best hamburger in Berlin, I recommend that restaurant.

Overall, I had a good experience, though waiting over half an hour to be seated due to uncleaned tables was unusual. However, once we were seated, our order was taken promptly, and the food arrived quickly. The veggie offer, with any veggie or vegan burger priced at 9.9, was a fantastic deal. The avocado fries were amazing and definitely worth trying, along with their excellent range of vegan burgers.

Interesting place near Alexanderplatz. Kind and punctual service, very friendly. Good food.

Have nothing to complain about. Burgers were super tasty and with the respective “evening menu” you even get something on top.

The staff were very helpful and kind, the outside seating has great shade from the heat and the time between ordering and eating our food was very short.

We had a great stay at the Hackescher Markt location. Josi, who served us, did a great job and is very personable.

Amazing place. We dropped here after a long day with airplane travel and a full day of walking along the streets. We hoped for a short waiting time after placing our order and we couldn't be more satisfied. The staff is amazingly friendly, the food preparation is speedy and me and my girlfriend really loved the dishes. Bonus point for the onion rings, the best I've tried yet. A real treat after such a long and exhausting day

Berlin restaurant. Atmosphere is perfect. Live music, outdoors, burgers, drinks, very relaxing, great service, and the burgers were the best! A great place with great food and a great European vibe.

This place is a perfect place to end the day. While they are known for their hamburgers, I had the grilled chicken. It Was Delicious! Abi was a fantastic hostess and server. The mayonnaise based sauce was spectacular. The multi grain bun was fresh and delicious. The side of fries! Plenty of fries! More than needed! You could easily share the side of fries for two. The Hefeweizen was smooth and delicious and the Peter's Limonade was very tasty. In the evening this place is completely shaded. And in a beautiful area of Berlin.

I was at Peter Pane on my visit to Berlin and I have to say that everything was just right. The food was great, the portions and the price-performance ratio were totally right in my opinion. The service was very friendly and I didn't have to wait long for the food. Even going to the toilet was an experience; Peter Pan stories are recited here. If I lived in Berlin, this restaurant would be my favorite place. Thanks to the Peter Pane team for three unforgettable moments in your restaurant ❤️
