There were three of us here and we ate the vegan dishes. The starters were delicious, and the vegan main course with rice and soy mince was fantastic. We each had a cocktail, which we also really enjoyed. We'll be happy to come back!

This place is the only Cuban restaurant out of Miami, FL where I found authentic “sazón cubana” - Cuban seasoning. This flavor is unique; once you try it, you never forget it they are also the only place (except a bar in Ginza) that I found know how to make Hemingway Daiquiri (aka Papa Doble), the writer’s favourite cocktail, of his own creation you get high value, in quality and quantity, for the money spent there. The friendly staff will gladly describe the dishes’ contents and preparation, which is by itself a bonus experience

The restaurant is very good, the food excellent. My wife had the sea bream and she loved it. I had the pork belly and it was delicious. The fried cassava was a dream. The service is very friendly and attentive. The mojitos are the best in Berlin.

This is my third time here, and once again I haven't been disappointed. The food is delicious and the seating is so comfortable. The service is friendly, and they always give you attention if you want something to drink. I highly recommend the daiquiri, and the mojito is also excellent. We were given water for our dog, and he was welcome too. I would always recommend making a reservation. If the weather is nice, you can also sit outside. We were immediately offered a table outside.

The food was delicious, the staff very friendly. After a day of walking, the ropa vieja and chicharrón gave us back our energy. We enjoyed ourselves like children! Oh, and the octopus and avocado salad: a 10!

We had a truly incredible meal at this Cuban restaurant – five stars aren't enough! For starters, we had small plantain bowls filled with tender beef – a true explosion of flavor. For the main course, I had grilled sea bream with white rice and beans – and as an Italian, I can confirm: the fish was super fresh! My husband had lamb with rice and beans – what can I say, everything was simply delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our waitress, in particular – a lovely, blonde waitress – was incredibly warm and accommodating. And the best part: for such fantastic food, the price was surprisingly low. We'd definitely love to come back!

The three of us shared three starters and two main courses. Octopus with avocado, cassava with two sauces, plantain cakes with sauce, sea bream, and pulled pork with rice and black beans. All truly delicious and highly recommended. Service was friendly and attentive. Everything was very nice. We sat outside, so I can't comment much on the ambiance.

This week I was in the restaurant twice. I can only say very good things. I think the Cuban food is the best I have eaten outside of Cuba, the atmosphere and the attention are top notch. They were very affectionate and attentive all the time, if I return to Berlin I will surely repeat. Eat the Chicharrón, which was spectacular.

I can 100% recommend you to visit Pequeña Habana if you have the chance. My partner and I shared a starter plate of Patacon pisao and a delicious plate of "Ropa vieja" with a beer. The menu also has lots of great options for vegans.

Small, very cozy, fair prices. The range of food on offer is manageable, which I generally think is a good thing. In addition to the menu, there are also some daily specials. My boyfriend and I had a dinner at La Pequeña Havana yesterday (10.01.25). For starter we had octopus with avocado and salad which was absolutely delicious. Then for main course I had grilled fish and my boyfriend had braised beef we both were delighted with our choices and enjoyed it very much. Would be great to experience it again when we are back to Berlin. To the chef and his team - our big thank you for the great and delicious food!

11/2024 Small Cuban restaurant with a small, fine menu. There were also various fish, seafood and meat dishes on the daily menu. We had reserved and there were four of us there. Service was very attentive and friendly, the food was all fresh and nicely prepared and the portions were relatively large. Personally, I could have used more salt and pepper on my food, but that's a matter of taste and you can add more seasoning. 😋 The price-performance ratio was good, we had eaten there before and would love to come back! So to be honest we were disappointed with the food. My friend ordered grilled fish, it was dry and tasteless. You had to add salt properly. I had beef. For me it wasn't seasoned properly either. The beans were somehow seasonless. The salad as a side dish was once again this typical “German salad”, as I call it, a few lettuce leaves with a few slices of other vegetables on top and with boring sauce like in almost every German restaurant. I'm not sure if Cuban cuisine is really supposed to be so "emotionless" and bland or if it was changed so much for the German guests that it ended up being nothing special. For this price and these experiences we will never come back. The service was friendly, yes.

Welcoming place, terrific food, fun ambience. Seafood is tasty and freshly kept (Berlin being landlocked no easy feat) maybe a touch too expensive for regular use. We paid almost €80 2 people no wine/alcohol, for two mains and a starter.

Very good food, authentic Cuban dishes modern, tasty and beautifully cooked and presented. Be sure to try Ropa Vieja and Congries. But so does everything else. And pay attention to the daily specials. Definitely recommended. The service is patient and explains everything. Coffee: perfect!

Wir waren jetzt in mehreren Jahren viermal im Pequena Habana. Und wir waren viermal begeistert! Im Oktober 2023 haben wir dort mit Freunden und Familie unsere Silberhochzeit gefeiert. Jetzt waren wir mit Kindern und Enkelkind noch einmal dort. Es war wieder ein Lottogewinn! Authentisch, superlecker, gastfreundlich. Dor passt alles! Es lohnt sich; und das Essen ist seinen Preis AUF JEDEN FALL wert!

The history of this location for businesses has not been very good. Over the last 15 years in my observation. It was a tapas bar that did not last very long. Then there was another Spanish restaurant that lasted for awhile but, disappeared. Soon after, Pequena Habana opened it doors. Within a short time the place was busy and has been ever since. Took a little while before I checked out the place with my girl and found that it is great! One of the key things I think why the restaurant is successful is that the proprietors I from Cuba. Looks to me like it’s a family business with a lot of heart put into the business and a lot of love put into the business and into the place. The decor is comfortable and very Cuban. This word great doesn’t really describe but, you have to be there and “taste there” to know what I mean. I’ve been there a few times and checked out several of their dishes. Now, I’m not a expert on Cuban food. My favourite actually is Mexican food. But, all of their dishes are full of flavour. And when you come back for the same dish it looks and taste the same. Their menu is not that expensive at all. Seems that they know the rules of restauranting. by not putting too many items or making a Bible out of their menu. It is served in a “nouveau cuisine” style but, there is enough to eat on the plate. So, the dishes I’ve tried were “Roper Vieja” which is Cuban style braised in shredded beef soup with rice black beans home-made fritters and salad. The other dish I’ve tried is the “Bistro de Palomilla (res)” which is ribeye steak marinade in garlic lime juice and onion soup with Maureen rice handmade fridges and salad. Both were exceptionally flavourful to my delight. They have these kind of funny green glass rectangle plates that they served the food on. I’ve never seen anything like it before; they are unique. Again, served in that “nouveau cuisine” style but, there is a enough to eat. The arrangement of the food on the plate is food for the eyes. And the prices are reasonable. Now, watch out for those drinks they serve and strong; really strong. If you really want to have that Cuban style flavour in Berlin, this is the place to come.

If you want to taste real Cuban food, this is the place you're looking for. I strongly recommend La yuca con mojo.it is another level. The staff is really cordial and nice. Also, it is a place where the atmosphere is family oriented.

The food is good, but definitely overpriced. Most dishes are between 20 and 30€, specially the fish dishes (which is normal). There is also not a big selection on the menu, but they always have a menu that changes weekly. And they have Portuguese beer, which is definitely a plus! The cocktails were also great and they had one or two vegetarian options. The service was also good. Not sure I recommend because of the ration quality-price, but good to have a one time experience.
