We had a great evening with five friends with extremely good food and nice hospitality. Everyone really enjoyed it and we will definitely come back again.

The food was excellent. We have rarely eaten Spanish as well as we did there. The food was simply delicious, no matter what we had. The ambience is also pretty cool. Don't let the sober hallway put you off. The moment you enter the restaurant, you have arrived in Spain. Few tables, nice service and live cocking. There is also an old cellar vault, which you wouldn't have expected before. Prices are absolutely reasonable and it's definitely not the last time we've been there. But since there are only a few tables, I would urgently reserve in advance. Very authentic and with a big dash of Spain in the middle of Essen-Kettwig. Absolute recommendation!

Salinas in Rüttenscheid has become our regular Valentine's Day restaurant. The food is very tasty at a very good price. The owners and the whole team are very accommodating and super nice. Will come again❤️

Great tapas restaurant with super friendly service! Can highly recommend the fish platter for €32 - we were full. Very nice for a date night, we would love to come back.
