Amazing restaurant. The food was super fresh and good, the staff is super friendly and nothing is to crazy for them. The restaurant was full when we were there.

In itself a very high quality Greek, if not the highest quality. Very courteous staff, but 4 different waitresses, which I found a bit strange. Furnishings and toilets are great. Now to the most important thing, the food: Gyros baked in a pan with Metaxa sauce, a huge portion of meat with sauce, unfortunately not enough fries. A little unbalanced, the fries had to stick badly. Only the meat and sauce are a bit heavy. The volume was quite loud on Friday evening when the restaurant was full, and then in the entrance area, it was difficult to have a conversation. Difficult decision whether 3 or 4 scene, the high price of 31€ for food, a coke and a coffee made me give it 3 stars. For two people, €65 for “just gyros” is quite steep.

Due to Christmas Day being very full (since the reservations were planned in shifts, all "7:30" reservations entered the restaurant at the same time and all tables placed their orders almost at the same time.... correspondingly longer waiting time and the food not quite as delicate as usual)

What a fantastic place! Went there because it had great reviews- and they were not wrong! The people were so lovely- squeezed us in without a reservation. Lollipops for the kids, shots for the grownups- before we even ordered food! And the food- absolutely delicious and super affordable! Completely forgot to take a picture because i was way too busy enjoying it! If we are ever back in Oberhausen- we will definitely come back here again!

Very good food and top service!! We arrived with a group of 10 people a little later in the evening - reserved in advance. The food was delicious, large portions and beautifully presented plates. The service was great: the host took the time to advise us with each course. Everything with kindness. One of the dishes was even adapted to our request. We will definitely come back!!

I had dinner there yesterday. I was greeted warmly and shown to my table. The drinks we ordered were served very quickly and complemented by a house ouzo. Very nice! Shortly afterwards the starter arrived, which was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly tasty! I had a portion of tzatziki and saganaki - to die for! The main course, an Alexander plate, was also very, very tasty and more than plentiful. Highly recommended! It's hard to beat the service, which was not only quick and friendly, but also simply "genuine" (i.e. not fake or fake) and warm! A huge plus and absolutely rare!! The prices are reasonable and the furnishings are attractive. It was a little too loud for me, but the restaurant was also pretty full, which speaks for itself! I'd love to come back!

The food, especially the starter, was delicious! Unfortunately we weren't quite finished when the main course arrived... Everything was cleared away without asking if we still wanted the leftovers. Very long waiting times for food. Drinks are empty in 15 minutes and there is no service. Food was very good. Ambience was good, only the furniture could be more modern, but that's a matter of taste.

I've been here several times with my girlfriend. We come specifically from the north of Duisburg, where there are also several Greek restaurants. The atmosphere here is great... always fun, always friendly. Mega juicy meat. Great starters. There's something for everyone, even if you don't eat meat... fish, vegetables... great desserts... you can also find typical local dishes there. Not just 0 8 15 gyros... always delicious. So this is really a special Greek restaurant. From the son of the owner/chef, who really unobtrusively and courteously recommended that we only order the Greek tappas. Everything was excellent down to the quality of the food served. You could really taste that the food was cooked here with love and a special touch. Especially for those who, like me, have already visited 100th Greek restaurants, Pegasos should really be seen as a tip. Absolute taste recommendation - an experience!

The good reviews have proven to be absolutely justified. The food was excellent, especially the delicious gyros and the homemade halva and lotus ice cream. I strongly recommend making reservations in advance as the place is very popular. It's definitely worth it! 5☆

Bestes Restaurant in Oberhausen und Umgebung. Essen mit Liebe zubereitet, die Bedienung extrem freundlich und locker, und der Geschmack übertrifft alles, was wir bisher hatten. Wie hattten uns komplett von der Besitzerin mit Speisen überraschen lassen. Es gab viele Vorspeisen, eine suoerzarte Lammhackse und zwei mega Nachtische. Probiert es unbedingt aus, wir sind immer noch geflashed.

Great staff and great food, just a bit too small

Making a reservation by phone was difficult because they hung up on me twice. It was loud and seemed crowded for a restaurant. We were served by every friendly waiter we could find. Cheers to speed, but who wants to shout to the next waiter that you've already been asked twice? The carrots on the fresh salad were dry and had probably been in the kitchen for a while before being served. There were two (!) small cubes of feta in my risotto. Did you fall for it or did you want to? The lamb was great, the bone was removed, but the limp bone skin was still on. The other food - piping hot and over salted gyros came to the table with dry and cold fries that were unevenly salted. It went back barely eaten and was greeted with raised eyebrows and the question "Pack it up?" removed. Maybe we had a bad day, but I can't understand where all the very good reviews come from. Update from March 10, 2024: The restaurant was given a second chance and I am pleasantly surprised. This time everything was great! I don't want to change the stars later.
