Pavillon in Saarbrücken

After a long and nerve-wracking search for a restaurant where I could offer my tongue a new culinary excursion and fill my tummy with a treat, I came across the China Mongolian Pavilion. A little impressed by the numerous reviews, I sacrificed 69 hours of my valuable time to read all 1263 reviews of this Chinese restaurant. When I did this I was very conflicted. Nevertheless, I decided to visit this amazing restaurant with my little Budschie Pascal Andreas Karl Heinz Peter Collin Arnold Markus Jeremy Hubertus von Gaalen. After 12 days of traveling, we parked our automobile with the serial number 1871200223475628 in the parking lot. The parking prices were exorbitantly high, but not a problem for a rich sheikh like me. In order not to be disturbed by other homosapiens during my visit, I reserved the entire restaurant. The food tasted very average, although the dessert was an absolute delight. The staff was very friendly and tried very hard. However, I can only rate this with 4 stars because I only received my well-deserved fortune cookie when I asked. This was filled with delicate wisdom written on parchment, wrapped in a delicious cookie layer and wrapped in plastic. I was just hoping for the best wisdom, but when it was written on the elegant-looking parchment that I would soon receive Karius and Bactus, I decided to sue the China Mongolian Pavilion. Incredible!! The food was almost raw and there was almost nothing left and that at 7:30 p.m.!! Chocolate fountain dried out and a hair in the ice cream doesn't work at all!😡😡I'm pissed off!

The last time we were there was a decade ago. Now we wanted to give the Chinese restaurant a new chance. Unfortunately still not recommended! Food was cold... Krupuk had apparently been sitting open on the buffet for days, it wasn't crispy. Quality of the food underground. The waitresses tried hard.

Two stars may not seem like much at first glance, but I would describe it as entirely sufficient. It's not very good, not just good, you don't come out of it satisfied either. It is simply sufficient throughout. You get everything you would expect in a restaurant like this and of a quality that is just enough not to complain. You can visit, you don't have to.

If you like the buffet in the station hall, good. Otherwise nothing for a cozy evening. Food good at the beginning then steadily going downhill. Hardly any refilling of the individual dishes. Anyone who comes at 7:30 p.m. has to check it out. Starts from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. In my opinion, price/performance is not ok.

I suffered diarrhea from this restaurant and would not recommend it. The squid rings are coated with laxatives, which permanently deactivate the sphincter. I ask you to visit this restaurant and see it with your own eyes. If you politely ask the waitress you can steal all the fortune cookies, which is why 5 stars

Dear China Team, I wanted to share my very valuable experience after my culinary trip. When I was there recently with others, I was recommended to try the delicacy called “squid rings”. This seemed extremely tempting to me, which is why I set out on the 3 meter long path to get hold of it. When I arrived back at the table, I was relieved to have completed this difficult journey. My friends were eager to hear my opinion as I bit the ring. The second it was eaten, something unexpected suddenly happened. The long-preventable diarrhea. I flew out the window to my toilet and decided to avoid this store forever and ever. But fortune cookies were awesome so 3 stars.

Very nice spacious restaurant with a variety of food and drinks. The buffet isn't quite as big, but it's definitely sufficient and the food tastes delicious. However, you should only put what you can eat on your plate, otherwise a fee of five euros will be charged. I personally think it's good. Don't worry if there is still a grain of rice on the plate, no one will say anything. Service is quick and friendly.

Absolutely not recommended, cold food, the air conditioning and the ventilation system were broken. We and many others left the restaurant sweating after just a short time

We have been guests here about once a year for 10 years. There are a few positive things and a lot of negative things that made us stop going there. One of the positive things is that they not only have all-you-can-eat but also all-you-can-drink. So the drinks are included in the buffet. (At least in the evening. We don't go there at lunchtime.) Another plus point is that the staff is usually fairly friendly. What I find negative is the quality of the food, which is rather below average. For €27 I expect a little more. In addition, they are supposedly open until 11 p.m. and the buffet is open until 10 p.m. But effectively you don't need to go there after 9 p.m. because the first things at the buffet are no longer refilled. However, sushi is usually very scarce at 9 p.m. Desserts are all from the supermarket. The vegetarian selection is OK, but not extensive. If you come after 9 p.m. it is very limited. Accordingly, you can still sit there from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., but there's nothing left to eat. If you want something late in the evening, the restaurant is not recommended.

Absolutely not recommended! The food was cold and the quality was poor. When the waitress pointed out that the food was cold, the only response was that we had taken the wrong plates. We probably would have taken the cold plates and not the warm plates. You would also have to stir the food before putting it on your plate. Regarding the sushi, especially the ones with the mushy, sometimes brown avocados, the answer was that they sometimes come from the store like that. This reinforced our impression of poor quality. The food was also not refilled. You had to be content with what was still there. We, a group of 9 people, were thoroughly disappointed with this restaurant visit!

I've never had such a bad meal because of this Mongolian restaurant. I don't send the receipt attached so that it will later say that I didn't visit the restaurant. First point: the climate was a disaster at 30°, I sweated more than I did the food. The food was dry. It felt like the food had been there for 2.3 days. In terms of taste, it was as if the meat wasn't fresh either. the sushi was dry and slimy. Disgusting!!!, the food was not edible. Let's come to drinks, one thing was good except for the beer. The beer was delivered without carbonation, stale, as if the barrel had been taken out of the cold storage and put back in again and again. So never again would not recommend to anyone

We were here last night for the first time in several years. Unfortunately it has become much worse than before, I have never eaten so badly. Definitely not recommended. The food wasn't fresh and didn't taste good either. The hot food had been hard, as if it had been kept warm for days. Only the vegetables were good, but that doesn't save it either. For 120€ 4 people and a child is quite expensive for this quality. I'm speechless how you can serve something like that to your guests.

Unfortunately, this buffet was not recommended at all today. Hardly any choice. Leftovers from the lunch buffet were offered. The people in charge told us that there wasn't that much choice because of the hot weather and the low popularity. So many guests won't come back

Never eaten so badly. The food was cold and what was empty was not refilled. Very bad taste. I would actually like to give it 0 stars but unfortunately that's not possible.

Was here again today after a long time. When we arrived we had to wait until one of the younger gentlemen came to meet us at the door. Service has become really bad compared to before. The food also left a lot to be desired. The only thing that saved a star is the duck. The desserts look extremely cheap, discount store level. I think 26.90 euros is a bit excessive for an adult. We'll probably reorient ourselves.

I was thrilled with my visit to the Chinese restaurant Pavillon in Saarbrücken! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was simply outstanding - from the fresh ingredients to the masterful preparation of the dishes, everything tasted wonderful. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, which made our evening a special experience. I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Restaurant on the 1st floor, with elevator. Meals taken on site Saturday lunchtime. All-you-can-eat buffet at €16.90, with soft drinks. Buffet with a very limited choice of foods and average quality. Free parking but very dirty, lots of waste littering the ground.

Been there several times recently and over the years, food has always been miserable, consistently. Everything was kept warm, nothing was fresh, the quality of the goods or food was very poor and everything was greasy, everything was really disgusting without exception. Iced tea from Lidl, cheap and sugary desserts from the discount store. Wonder where all the people who say it was good ate there.

We were here with family on a holiday lunchtime. The food was very fresh and tasty, and there was also a very large and nice selection. In contrast to other restaurants, non-alcoholic drinks are all inclusive. Prices are very reasonable. We'd love to come back!!

Never again!! The food didn't taste good and everything was really cold (unless you had something grilled)!!! I wonder if the owners don't read the reviews here? In previous reviews it has already been written that the food is cold. Shouldn't we then try to change that? That was definitely our last visit…. I don't even want to start talking about hygiene... going to the restaurant with a child who is still being changed is not a good idea. The toilets were also a disaster, you didn't get the impression that they were cleaned every day.

I was there on May 1st and was very, very satisfied. I wanted good food, nice service, plenty of choice, and pleasant fellow guests. PERFECT. A nice event.

I had lunch today around 5 p.m. with my family. I'll never be a guest there again. The buffet was cold, extremely greasy and the taste was 0.0. The buffet wasn't even refilled, let alone checked to see if everything was OK. The service also left a lot to be desired. The ambience was so-so an aquarium with water from the 40's, dead fish and strange smells. Will avoid this restaurant in the future!

Unfortunately, it's no longer what it used to be.... almost everything is now breaded and fried so that the guest is quickly full.

The restaurant had a good vibe and most of the food was great, especially the grilled stuff (both meat and seafood). It tasted yummy! But the curries weren't so good, they could be better. They had lots of drinks to choose from (sodas, juice, etc.). However, it was very expensive! The price is too high, 26.90 euros for dinner buffet in Saarbrucken feels unfair. I think 20–21 euros would be a fairer price considering the food quality, options, and setting. I hope they consider adjusting it.

Pavilion has again greatly improved in the quality and presentation of the food. There were 6 of us there and everyone was really very positively surprised. Price performance fits again...👍

Very disappointing! We went there because I was craving sushi and the restaurant advertises itself as a “sushi bar”. You can see from the photos what was actually available. We were there in the early evening (around half past seven) and when we asked, we were told that no sushi would be refilled either. Annoying

Where do you start, where do you end. Let's start with the table, since I had pre-ordered it was off to the corner. Explanation for the drinks at the front on the side, no further explanation about what beer or wine looks like. Let's continue with the sushi, some of the rice balls (I call them that) looked like the larger the less the guest eats. The basa sauce (unfortunately it has to be called that) had lost its spiciness due to its consistency. The dishes that characterize every Chinese restaurant, except for, I would say, 8 ingredients, all ended up in the deep fryer. Who else fries whole shrimps with shells in breading? Let's come to the Mongolian grill, I would like to note again, we are at a Chinese restaurant, what are frog legs doing there, the shrimp were still frozen, the salmon, oh yes, which one, was not available. I'll just end it here. You've tried it and it's good.

The buffet was empty. Sushi completely empty at 7 p.m. We had to complain 3 times and when we were having dessert at 9 p.m. new sushi arrived. The meat/salmon from the Mongolian buffet was also empty. Unbelievable really. The rest was a complete disaster in terms of taste. You can't eat in peace either - the restaurant is a children's playground. Small children from other tables play under our table. Drinks selection poor. Then ask for 26.99 euros!! Never again.

Das Essen war mal besser, 3s hat izw einen sehr komischen beigeschmack und schmeckt teilweise alt und wiedr aufgewärmt. Dafür sind die Preise teurer geworden. 2 Sterne weil man zumindest trinken nachfüllen kann

Wir haben dort Geburtstag gefeiert und beim bezahlen ist es uns aufgefallen, dass es zu viel war! Als wir nach der Rechnung fragten, hat die Frau direkt gewusst was los ist und hat gesagt dass Sie uns 91€ sofort zurück bringt! Die Cocktails die wir bestellt hatten waren nur zur Hälfte voll! Das Essen wurde nicht wieder aufgefüllt, und das, noch am Anfang der Öffnungszeit gegen 18:30 Uhr! Schlecht!!! Empfehle ich nicht weiter!!!

Das Asia Restaurant liegt ein wenig Abseits von der Stadt, aber dennoch gut zu erreichen. Die Parkplätze sind kostenlos, aber durch die Kunden der umliegenden Geschäfte belegt. Rollstuhlfahrer können den Aufzug zum oberen Einfang des Restaurants benutzen. Es ist kein besonderes, aber auch kein schlechtes Restaurant. Das Essen war am Abend frisch zubereitet und auch geschmacklich ganz gut. Die Auswahl von dem Büffet hebt sich nicht von den Mitbewerbern ab. Die Preise sind angemessen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und haben ihr bestes gegeben. Alles in allem, ein Restaurant, wo man für den kleinen Geldbeutel sich satt essen kann, ohne ein schlechtes Gewissen zu haben.

Buffet inklusive Getränke für einen sehr günstig Preis, auch Bier und wein sind dabei, viele Auswahl.

Gute Auswahl am Buffet. Schmeckte auch sehr lecker. Buffetpreis am Abend sehr teuer mit knapp 25 Euro pro Person. Getränke incl. jedoch aus 1 Liter Plastikflaschen in Selbstbedienung. Das geht anderswo besser. Wegen Preis und Getränken nur 4 Sterne.

Kein Schöner Besuch. Sehr lustlose Bedienung. Getränke stehen ja im Schrank 1 Liter Flaschen Cola, Fanta und Co sowie Wasser !!!!! Man kommt nicht auf die Idee das man was anderes trinken möchte. Das Essen war Kalt, ständig Lehr und wenn wurde es nur sehr zögerlich nachgefüllt. Das alles für lockere 24.90 € pro Person :-( Echt Schade.

Früher definitiv besser. Der Geschmack und auch die Auswahl hat schwer nachgelassen. Also für uns war es der letzte Besuch dort! Wir vermuten mal,das der Besitzer gewechselt hat!

Wir waren beim Mittagstisch für 14.90 pP. Gläser die man selbst befüllen durfte waren größtenteils dreckig. Der Tisch hat gewackelt und die verwendete Tischdecke inkl Deko hatte auch sicher bessere Zeiten erlebt. Essen war nicht mein Geschmack und fand es war nicht die riesen Auswahl. Bedienung war bemüht freundlich aber nur 1x da .... wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Essen hat nachgelassen. Zähes Rind, saure Ananas, lauwarme Ente, Sushi nicht nachgefüllt. Hatten wir schon besser.

Ich fand es toll dort, doch der auf dem Schokoladenpudding hat sich Schimmel gebildet sonst war alles andere in Ordnung.

Die Bedienung war prima und das Essen auch gut (mit Abstrichen im Detail). Das Ambiente schön. Merkwürdig erschien mir die Extragebühr von 2 Euro Aufschlag auf das Buffet wenn man kein Getränk dazu bestellen möchte . Auch seltsam : die grossen Getränkeeinheiten sind im Verhältnis teuerer als die Kleinen ! Und es gab keine Glückskekse 😶!

Große Auswahl an Speisen, viel frittiertes. Aber auch viel zum Braten lassen. Beim Buffet kann man eine Getränke-Flat dazu bestellen und sich die Getränke dann selbst holen.

Sehr gutes Essen und tolle Stimmung. Habe ein nettes Eis mit Kerze (eher in Richtung Wunderkerze) von einem Mitarbeiter serviert bekommen. Ein gelungener Geburtstag. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Nochmal vielen Dank.

Auch wir gehören zu den Gästen, die vor einigen Jahren durchaus auch schlechte Erfahrungen in diesem Lokal gemacht haben. Wir sind uns nicht sicher, ob der Besitzer in dieser Zeit gewechselt hat - aber diesmal waren wir positiv überrascht. Am Montagabend, Feiertag in Saarbrücken, waren wir im Pavillon essen. Sehr viele kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten durch den Discounter nebenan gegeben - in Sbr. schon mal top. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, ordnungsgemäß nach den aktuellen 3G Vorgaben befragt und gebeten, vom Tisch bis zum Bueffet die Masken zu tragen — was aber nicht jeder Gast tat und auch nicht darauf hingewiesen wurde. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit a la Carte zu bestellen oder das All-You-Can-Eat inkl mongolischen Grill, hier noch zur Wahl ob inkl. Getränke-Flat oder ohne. Wir entschieden uns für die Version mit Getränken (alle antialkoholische inkl) zum Preis von 22,90 Euro. Die Getränke stehen in Kühlschränken zur Selbstbedienung zur Verfügung, sowohl in PET-Flaschen als auch in 0,33 l Glasflaschen. Die Auswahl lässt keine Wünsche offen und für Nachschub wird ständig gesorgt. Auch über die Auswahl des Essens kann man nicht meckern: Im Vergleich zu früher waren die Gerichte in den Behältern nicht übervoll, was damals dazu führte, dass alles was quasi „Zuviel“ drin war nämlich eiskalt war. Zahlreiche Speisen stehen zur Auswahl, es schmeckt nicht alles gleich und man kann sich richtig austoben. Der mongolische Grill wird zügig bedient, die Lebensmittel (Fisch, Meeresfrüchte und Fleisch) sind auf Eis angerichtet und manche sind noch tiefgefroren. Das zubereitete Essen wird an den Platz gebracht. Was das Bueffet angeht, gibt es für uns keinen Grund zum Meckern. Der Zustand der sanitären Anlagen lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig und gibt Punktabzüge: auf der Damentoilette gab es in mehreren Kabinen kein ToilettenPapier, der feuchte Boden beweist, dass keine regelmäßigen Kontrollen durchgeführt werden, die Seife war leer und leider waren sogar in einer Kabine „Reste“ in der Schüssel… geht gar nicht! Das Abräumen benutzter bzw. leerer Teller durch umsichtiges Personal funktioniert gut. Eine gründliche Desinfektion der Tische nach einem Gastwechsel ist uns nicht aufgefallen, ebenso wurden wir nicht nach Kontaktdaten gefragt. Ein Pluspunkt ist auf jeden Fall das freundliche und bemühte Personal - immer am Lachen und wirklich höflich. Das Preisleistungsverhaeltnis ist unschlagbar - vor allem das All You Can Eat inklusive der Getränke. Die Zahlung ist sowohl Bar als auch mit Karte möglich. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder!

Wir kannten das Restaurant von früher und wussten dass die Qualität nach einem Besitzerwechsel nachgelassen hatte. Nun, nach 2 Jahren, wollten wir es wissen und besuchten das Pavillon. Das Buffet war nix, das Fleisch trocken und alt. Die Nachspeisen lieblos und wie mit einem Beil gehackt. Lediglich der mongolische Grill war ok. Fazit: Kein pavillon mehr

Ein typischer Buffet-Chinese mit mongolischem Grill. Unter diesen ist er aber bestimmt einer der besseren. Ab und an, kann man sich so etwas schon antun.

wir waren als Familie hier es sind dort auch genügend Parkplätze vorhanden, da dort auch zwei Einkaufsmärkte sind. Der Pavillon befindet sich im ersten Stock. Es ist eion Aufzug vorhanden, so dass selbst Bewegungseingeschränkte Leute mit dem Aufzug hoch können. Es ist sehr größ und weiträumig. Der Pavillon bietet Büffet und ala Karte an. Beim Büffet kann man sich selbst bedienen. Selbst wenn ein Gast um Hilfe beim aussuchen und tragen Probleme hat hilft das Personal gerne.. Neben deen normalen Toiletten befindet sich auch eine Behindertentoilette vor Ort.

WIR werden dort nicht mehr essen. Jede ImbissBude hat bessere Qualität. Essen lauwarm, Geschmack unakzeptabel. Gesamteindruck: Lieblose Massenabfertigung.
