Sehr kurzfristig haben wir noch einen Tisch bekommen und wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Es war alles stimmig,gern wieder.

The service was very good and friendly

The three of us had dinner at the Paulaner that evening and we had very mixed feelings. Our female companion ordered a small beer, which the waiter commented as “a child’s birthday for the lady.” I understand that it was meant to be funny and lighthearted, but such statements are absolutely below the belt, especially if you claim to be locally LGTBQ+ friendly. Most of the food was not fresh and most likely warmed up in the microwave (e.g. dried mashed potatoes on the edge of the plate or potato dumplings that are cold and hard on the inside). In relation to the higher prices, the price/performance ratio was rather average and not what one expected.

The restaurant offers exceptionally delicious cuisine and excellent service. The dishes are fresh, creative and excellently prepared. The staff is friendly and ensures quick service. Absolutely recommended!

Was eating and drinking with my colleagues on December 7th last year. Gladly again. I'll leave three stars open, just like that, you always have to leave some room for improvement. 😉

Unfortunately I have to give a not so good rating here. We were there over the holidays and unfortunately have to say that the food is not very good. The food doesn't taste fresh and all of our food was super dry. Even classics like schnitzel or dumplings didn't even come with sauce. We then had to order these separately, but they tasted exactly like what you would find in retail stores. The service itself was fine and friendly. So when it comes to food, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Very tasty, nice atmosphere and nice service!

The four of us enjoyed a lovely cabaret evening in the Paulaner courtyard. We arrived on time, so there was enough time for dinner. The tables in the courtyard were full, the waiters were quick, friendly and attentive. The waiting time for drinks and food was absolutely ok. We ate liver, power bowl (shrimp and vegetables) and the cheese spaetzle. We all enjoyed it, the plates and bowls were full, and no one stayed hungry. Requests for drinks were routinely accepted and served during the cabaret break, so that no one sat thirsty at the tables for the second part of the program. We always enjoy coming here.

Alles super, sollten es uns noch einmal nach Leipzig beschlagen essen wir dort auf jedenfall gerne nochmal!

Delicious crispy knuckle, served with tasty dark hefeweizen and then blood root. A fantastic, hearty conclusion to a beautiful day in Leipzig and a fitting end to the year. We'll be back tomorrow.

Vielen Dank .Es war ein sehr schöner Abend . Einzige kleine Mango das es zu den Toiletten so viele Treppen sind. Für ältere ziemlich mühsam und schade das dadurch kein Rollstuhlfahrer zu ihnen kann . Oder habe ich eine Behinderten Toilette übersehen ? Ansonsten essen super .Bewirtung mega nett .Wir kommen auf jeden fall wieder . lg Andrea

Hoewel het erg druk was, wij niet gereserveerd hadden, maakte de vriendelijk kelner toch graag een plaatsje voor ons vrij. Lekker krokant gebakken schnitzels met heerlijk gebakken aardappeltjes. Jammer genoeg zat er geen groente bij, maar dat nemen we op de koop toe.

Ehrliche Küche, gutes Bier und nette Bedienung, was will man mehr. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

We came spontaneously with 6 people, 2 children and 4 adults, and despite everything we got a great table with super friendly, child-friendly staff. Food and drink came quickly and was delicious.

We are absolutely thrilled! The food was incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared down to the smallest detail. The employees were super welcoming and made us feel completely at home. Service was very friendly and attentive had a nice quiet place in a corner ambience good everything was very clean beer was delicious only the food was not in proportion to the price quantity and quality e.g. handful of fried potatoes the fried egg was so small dry cold had big holes on the back like a frozen egg, it's definitely better in Leipzig with German home cooking, the liver was also dry, hardly any apples onions to be seen, it wasn't busy either, we won't be eating there anymore. It's a shame

Wiener Schnitzel tasted like long-gone butter/oil, so the food was COMPLETELY inedible, and the price was also very high!

I recently had dinner there with a client and I was very impressed. The restaurant was fully booked. Luckily I had reserved beforehand. It's really easy with OpenTable. We had a very nice table and despite the fact that it was very full, there was never a rush from the staff and we never had to beg for drinks or wait. The food also came very quickly. The schnitzel was outstanding. Not as thinly beaten as one often experiences, but still very tender. Fried potatoes that deserve the name fried potatoes. The most important thing for me was of course that my customer was satisfied. He had never been to the Paulaner before and was very enthusiastic. Great ambience, great service and great food. He definitely wants to go back. If he then buys from me, then my goal is clear. I can also approach future business meetings there with peace of mind.

As a tourist, I thought (from the outside) there was only Italian or Asian cuisine in Leipzig until I discovered the Paulaner Leipzig. Great ambience, attentive, very friendly service and the Old Bavarian Schnitzel was really great. However, the price-performance ratio is also right here. It will be on my list again the next time I visit Leipzig!

As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the cozy and inviting atmosphere, which has been designed with great attention to detail. The furnishings create an authentic Bavarian ambience and invite you to linger. The food is outstanding - every dish we tried was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The menu offers a wonderful selection of Bavarian specialties that not only taste great but are also beautifully served. Whether hearty delicacies or fine little things - everyone gets their money's worth here. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service. The staff is incredibly friendly, courteous and always helpful. Our wishes were fulfilled quickly and with a smile, which made the evening particularly pleasant. You really feel welcome and in good hands here. Overall, the Paulaner Leipzig is a real insider tip for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant!

The ambience is rustic, matching the style of the house. The prices for food and drink range from around €3.50 for tea to around €24.00 for food. It is clean, the path to the location goes downhill and is difficult to reach for visitors with “impaired mobility”. The rustic cuisine fits the ambience and tastes good. Sure, some people will add more seasoning. That is self-evident. Tastes are different and every chef cooks differently. Salt and pepper are available. However, when it comes to the “main staff” in service, I am personally skeptical. In the evening we were advised not to do any business business in the restaurant. It would disturb other guests. It's hard for me to judge whether such a statement is irony or the restaurant's slogan. As the evening progressed, our table (a volunteer group that advocates for the well-being of children and exchanges ideas) felt very unwelcome. Furthermore, our table had the experience of the "main staff" making jokes in irony or actually making it difficult to distinguish. There was no escaping our rendition of similar irony. Honestly, if you give it out, you have to be able to take it. That wasn't the case. It is actually said that the customer is king as long as you behave like that. We did that as a group. As the evening progressed we were skillfully ignored. Too bad for the place. Make your own experience.

Wonderful Bavarian restaurant, a bit meat-heavy, but if you have to: great schnitzel, great Obazda and many types of good Paulaner beer. Really recommended.

We've been going there for years now. The beer is beyond any doubt. And the food has always been delicious. In comparison, in other Bavarian "trink halls" you often have the feeling of being in a large kitchen and being warmed up again. Here, however, the food tastes very good, from the dishes on the menu to the seasonal specialties (e.g. ox cheeks literally melt in your mouth). The staff is service-oriented and the innkeeper has such a cool demeanor that he'll probably pee ice cubes. But you also have to get involved with it. :-) Unfortunately the opening times are no longer as long as they used to be (due to staffing situations). Of course, festival beer is (unfortunately) only available in season. Feel free to continue like this...

There is still room for improvement. The food and service were totally fine despite the restaurant being very busy. It was just (somewhat) very loud. The only point of criticism.

Feria de pub estándar. Personal amable, servicial, habla inglés. Habitación acogedora. Comida típica. Probé la sopa de panqueques, Susan y su amiga tenían crujiente cerdo nudillo del hueso con huevo, chucrut y patatas fritas, yo había tenido Schnitzel “Altbayrisch” en un empanado de mostaza dulce y rábano picante, horneado con queso rallado, servido con patatas fritas. Terminamos con crumble de manzana y Kaiserschmarrn (postre esponjoso de tortitas)

I ordered the deer burger from the current fall menu. Topped with cranberries and camembert, potato wedges and a delicious herb sour cream dip, the food was incredibly delicious. Service and food were very quick and always friendly despite the restaurant being full. Reservation is recommended. All in all, I had a very happy evening and would recommend it 👍

Gemütliche Wirtschaft mit gutem traditionellen Speisenabgebot. Die Kruste beim Krustenbraten leider nicht knackig, dafür gibt es etwas Punktabzug. Die Wartezeit am Samstagabend etwas überdurchschnittlich lang, aber in dem netten Ambiente auszuhalten. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell z.B. beim Getränkeservice.

Schöne Gasstätte. Nette Bedienung. Die Getränke kamen sehr schnell. Auf die Speisen warteten wir (mit mehreren Nachfragen) mehr als 1 1/2 Stunden, während sogar später kommende Gäste (mit Essen) schon abkassiert wurden.

Bei unserem Abendessen hat alles gepasst. Wir hatten für 10 Personen reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Der Service war durchgehend sehr zügig und zuvorkommend. Wir waren alle mit unseren Gerichten geschmacklich sehr zufrieden, zudem waren es große Portionen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut, insbesondere auch zu anderen Brauereigasthäusern.

We were warmly welcomed and even though there wasn't a place without a reservation, something was arranged. The food is old German cuisine, veal schnitzel and roast pork. The Paulaner beer speaks for itself. We were there with our 2 children and they were promptly given meal to bridge the waiting time. Food was very good hot and filling. (You also eat to fill yourself up) The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is quaint if a bit sterile. The overall package fits so you can recommend it to others.
