Very tasty, great rustic ambiance, and friendly staff. We'd gladly return.

A good selection of hearty dishes, as well as lovely salads. We had lunch with eight people, all at the table at the same time. Some portions were a bit too generous, but the taste was good. Excellent service, but it wasn't very busy. We'll be happy to come back when we're really hungry again!

Super friendly and, above all, long-serving, great service staff. You can't complain about the first one either; it tastes good anytime. Recommended for lunch and dinner. Especially the Bavarian wrap.

Been here for the second time, and the service is still rude. While I understand that things can get busy, that’s no excuse to speak to guests in such a manner. Better planning and organization are strongly recommended. On sunny days, it’s clear that a full house is to be expected. If staff is short, management could take measures such as limiting the menu selection on those days. It would also help to upgrade the system, for example, by introducing order-and-pay options via QR code. I don’t even want to imagine the lost sales due to the lack of better organization.

Delicious food, I'll come back, but it would be better if it were a little cheaper. Steak and potatoes, with a steep price tag.

This is the right place if you're looking for warm hospitality with excellent, typical German cuisine. From the moment I greeted you to the moment I left, I was able to enjoy everything here. A great team, excellent food, and every second of pure attention. I'd be happy to come back.

Absolutely fantastic food, the house beers are crisp and easy to drink. Staff are lovely with a refreshing atmosphere. The roast pork may be one of the best meat dishes I've ever had. And for the price, come here if you are in town.

A very well-maintained inn, the food was delicious 😋 and there was a wide selection. The staff was friendly and quick, and their friendly service is also worth mentioning. They run their business well. You'll definitely want to go back.

The spaetzle with lentils (€16.x) were delicious 😋 The cellar beer was delicious too, of course 😉 Nice service! Everything went quickly. The prices have increased quite significantly in recent years. I'd prefer a slightly smaller portion; it would be a bit cheaper. The restroom reminded me of "The Man in the Iron Mask" 😀

A great spot, located in a quiet pedestrian square. Very good food and impeccable service.

We got a table spontaneously and received friendly service. The schnitzel with spaetzle and dark beer sauce arrived quickly, hot, and incredibly delicious. We were very satisfied.

A great atmosphere. A very nice beer garden, and the interior is also beautiful. Almost all of the food is excellent. The sausage salad is fantastic! A homemade potato salad would be nice. A different kind of apple strudel would also enhance the dessert. Otherwise, the food is excellent. The service was super friendly and attentive. The owner is also very personable.

Quaint location right next to church, situated away from main road, lots of outside seating. Pleasant welcome, friendly waiters and quick service. Tasty Schnitzel and also pork in beer sauce. Excellent Paulaner in bottles, of course. Worth a visit.

The schnitzel with fried potatoes is delicious; in my opinion, it's truly one of the best in Echterdingen and the surrounding area. The fried potatoes are also very good, though it's a shame they don't serve fries. You sit outside in a lovely beer garden, and the service is very quick and attentive.

Food was amazing. Everybody received a huge plate of food and it was a remarkably good Schnitzel. I would go there regularly if I was a local.

Food was delicious and I enjoyed it! I was a little bit sad I couldn’t get my schnitzel mit pommes but their Bratkartoffeln still tasted really good! Would definitely go back!

Very expensive..... €4.00 for gravy and €5.10 for 0.2 cl of digestive schnapps is too expensive. The quality of the food is mediocre. The fried potatoes were drenched in fat. The schnitzel was tough. Some guests received their same meal much earlier than us, who were earlier in the restaurant. €140 for three people is quite a lot. The bill is only available upon request. For that price, it should be perfect.

Wir waren als große Gruppe da. Es ist dann nicht immer einfach den Service zu bewerkstelligen. Aber der Service war super, die Getränke kamen ganz schnell und die Speisen für alle zeitgleich. Dabei hatte sich jeder was anderes bestellt. Die Auswahl war für alle geeignet und es war sehr schmackhaft und reichlich. Das Lokal hat genau die richtige Atmosphäre. Die Reservierung im Vorfeld hat auch toll geklappt, Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

We came here as a company with a large group of clients. It was an absolutely perfect evening, from the excellent organization beforehand to the friendly and excellent service on the evening, to the delicious food. Typical pub with an authentic atmosphere and really well-made dishes. The roast pork in beer with bretzel bread dumplings is excellent: tasty and well balanced. The crispy and golden Schnitzel, perfect with roast potatoes. Very friendly and helpful staff, which makes the experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended!

We visited this lovely restaurant and had a wonderful experience. We enjoyed their delicious local beer alongside the phenomenal pork knuckle—it was simply outstanding! The location is authentic furnein Brauhaus. The prices are in the upper midfield. We were there on Wednesday and tried the Hax'n Special. The knuckle was delicious, as was the sauerkraut. However, the dumpling was a disappointment as it simply didn't taste like anything. The service staff were quick and friendly, you really can't complain about that :)

Nice service, delicious Swabian food. Rustic atmosphere. And everything went smoothly with around 80 people.

Very cozy and beautiful place. Near by Echterdingen S-bahn, good ambience as well. Paulaner Beer was very good along with Riesenschnitzel und spatzle. Will be visiting again.

Food was great and on the table in less than 10 minutes 👍 Service is also good, but you are processed quickly because the tables are reserved x times (1-1.5 hour cycle).

Gastro legend Jens Fischer is in the house and really lets it rip: good home-style cuisine with a large selection for every taste, well-trained, friendly staff, reasonable prices. It's not for nothing that the Paulaner is one of the most successful restaurants in the city.

The food was super tasty. The service was very friendly and always up for a joke. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy. The chairs and benches could use a little more cushions/cushions but that's everyone's own opinion with the POPOMETER😂. It's definitely worth a visit for a nice evening with delicious food.

Yesterday after visiting the CMT we had dinner at the Paulaner on Kirchplatz. The Kässpätzle were absolutely delicious. Likewise the vegetarian wraps. The service was also impeccable, the staff was very friendly. I can only recommend the Paulaner.

We were there on a Friday at 7:30 p.m. and had already finished eating at 7:55 p.m. Service is super friendly and prompt. The food, especially the schnitzel, was simply delicious - I haven't had such good schnitzel in a long time. Super flavorful and not too thick either. The fried potatoes were unfortunately a bit soggy and not so crispy, but still tasty. We were very hungry after mass and were happy to have been served so quickly.

From table reservation to payment, everything works at an excellent level. The food was also delicious, but a schnitzel with fried potatoes doesn't have to cost €23.50 in 2025 either.

The food is delicious, the service is very good and the ambience is relaxed, a recommended restaurant 👍🏼 Parking is available, if not right next to the restaurant, you can find a parking space nearby and enjoy a little walk. In summer you can also have a drink outside if you want. One more detail, the portions are a bit small for the price. For example the pork schnitzel with fried potatoes for €21.50!! looks huge, but is so thin that some people won't be full for so many euros 😉. Nevertheless, the taste is very good 😋

The staff is enthusiastic and efficient. The food was super tasty. The pork knuckle with cabbage was super tender and lean. The rind is crispy with little fat. The restaurant was fully occupied on Thursday evening - that alone speaks for itself. I'm thrilled 🫶🏻

Nice place to have a wonderful beer and eat something. To be honest, my schnitzel was a bit salty. I was too hungry to complain... I just got one more beer. The place is quite crowded so I suggest making a reservation for more than 2-3 people.

Excellent traditional tasty German delicacy, in huge portions and Bavarian beer to wash it down. We really enjoy it and keep coming back for the giant pretzel crumb pork schnitzel with fried potatoes🤤. And for dessert, always warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, heavenly. Mouth watering traditional German food, in humongous portions and Bavarian beer to wash everything down. We truly enjoy coming here ever so often for the "Riesenbrezenbrösel-Schweinschnitzel and Bratkartoffeln"🤤. And enjoy for dessert the warm and fluffy heavenly chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream. Heavenly.

One of our favorite places next to the church- very picturesque. We could cut our meat with a fork, it was so tender and good. Great place for groups and nice bar area. Always great service.

We were a little disappointed. The food wasn't great and overpriced. The taste was not convincing. The side salad had too much vinegar and it said mixed salad. A slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, otherwise just ice cream salad. The pork fillets are too dry, the cream sauce with canned mushrooms. The cheese patties without pizzazz, here in Bavaria they have that kick. The onions on them are too pale. The prices are absolutely too expensive. Which is great that you can bring dogs 🐕. The staff was really friendly.

If you want to discover the transitional German food, It’s the best place for it. By the way they have a huge portions.

The food was delicious. At festival times they don't have Pils, only Oktoberfest beer. Personally, I didn't find it very tasty and would have liked there to be both. Keller was friendly, but insisted on a tip during our visit. We always tip, but found that a little invasive. In terms of price, it's okay but not at the top either.

It is close to the Stuttgart exhibition, 8 minutes by car, has its own parking space, and has a traditional decoration environment. There are basically no pitfalls in the dishes I ordered, except that the pork knuckle can only be eaten at night and not at lunch, which is a pity.

Good hearty food, friendly service, large beer garden

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und sind auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Lage ist gut, Getränke waren schnell da, Essen auch, aber für Zwiebelrostbraten mit Bratkartoffeln war es zu schnell. Man hat an den Bratkartoffeln gemerkt, dass sie wahrscheinlich in der Mikrowelle warm gemacht wurden. Das Fleisch war ok. Fazit: ok, mehr nicht.
