Great quality and probably the largest balls in Munich; very friendly service

The ice cream tastes so, so good! My favorite is dulce de leche. You can sit outside in front of the restaurant, and on sunny days, it's very pleasant.

I think the ice cream there is absolutely delicious, especially the orange flavor, which tastes just like Fanta. The staff are also really nice. I was 40 cents short once, and they said it was okay. I think the scoops are a decent size for the price. The ice cream is a bit pricey, but it's delicious. But where can you find ice cream these days that costs at least €2.20? I like going there with my family.

Excellent ice cream, specially for all Argentinians feeling nostalgic. Very kind people behind the counter. Unfortunately, this area is quite busy, with limited parking options, and you’ll likely have to stand in line for a bit. There’s a park in front of the shop, with some seating options. Maybe some tables and more chairs would be a great addition. Nonetheless, I would not recommend any other ice cream place above them! Love it!

A really good ice cream parlor on Romanplatz, well worth a visit. Some of the ice cream flavors have a distinctly Argentinian influence, which makes the selection interesting. I think the ice cream tastes good, and it's definitely worth stopping by!

A very nice little ice cream parlor with equally delicious ice cream! While some of the ice cream is a bit too sweet for my taste, it's fresh, creamy, and offers flavors you can't find everywhere else. Definitely a worthwhile alternative to Sacletti and the like!

While I was having trouble deciding on an ice cream, the staff let me try some samples. There was a long line of people that day, and I imagine it must have been busy. It was really nice of them to let me try something like this, even though it was a busy day. The atmosphere of the shop was great, and the ice cream was delicious, so I highly recommend it!

I generally liked the ice cream parlor. They serve perhaps the best pistachio ice cream I've ever eaten. The other ice cream flavors are good to not really my cup of tea. The negative review relates solely to the service. Today, when I lined up for ice cream during opening hours, I was the only one and last in line! and the staff asked me to leave because it was a minute past closing time and I was the only one not in the shop while it was still open. It would have been entirely possible to wait in the shop. Unfortunately, I didn't know that there were such strict waiting area rules for customers at ice cream parlors. I also didn't want to inconvenience the person in front of me unnecessarily. I can't remember the last time I was treated so dismissively. In the end, it was a very disappointing experience. I give the service 0 stars.

the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I’ve had my fair share of gelato/ice-cream and sweet treats on my travels, but this by FAR wipes out the competition. The array of flavours, amazing, the customer service, outstanding. Cheapest scoops I’ve seen and generous at that. I had the banana split and white chocolate with caramel, Oreo and milk chocolate. If I wasn’t leaving Munich tomorrow I’d be back day after day ⭐️

The best ice cream I had in Germany, hands down! They have flavors you can't find anywhere else and they transport you to Argentina. Highly recommended! On summer Sundays, it gets packed, so you have to wait in line, but it's worth it.

Pistachio Chocolate Passion Fruit

The best ice cream. Not cheap, but the scoops are very large.

Pistachio was delicious. Cheesecake was delicious because it was a bit sour and sweet. Hazelnut was okay because it didn't have much of a nutty flavor. Banana split was delicious. This is good for someone who likes banana and very sweet foods.

I tried the pistachio, vanilla, and bitter chocolate flavors. Both the pistachio and vanilla tasted somewhat artificial, and the overall milk quality was poor. The bitter chocolate was very watery, with no noticeable milk flavor. In my opinion, this place is overrated and does not live up to the hype.

The truth is, and based on the recommendations and reviews, I expected more. It didn't seem delicious or bad to me, very normal. However, the flavor was very sweet and it tasted more like one thing than the other. The flavors were not well mixed. I wouldn't go back.

Terrific ice cream with a great selection of flavors. A must stop! A healthy single scoop starts at €2.30, a double at €4.40 and a triple at €6.50. There is a small car park out front, but lots of benches and seating. Walking distance from Romansplatz. We’re coming back! Keep up the good work!

The ice cream makers from Argentina make fantastic ice cream based on Patagonian recipes (?) and have even won awards with their pistachio/dulcio de leche combination. On a public holiday, a 30-meter-long line of ice cream lovers formed outside, eager to enjoy the thankfully not overly sweet ice cream. An initial taste test after two flavors resulted in a 4⭐️. Perhaps it was because I had been to see world ice cream champion Eugenio Morrone in Rome two weeks before my visit to Patagon? The pistachio was good, but didn't blow me away. Dulcio de leche is a type of caramel ice cream made with milk cream, and it's quite special. I'll be back and try more. Maybe then I'll give it a 5th star.

Always a line... I cycle past the ice cream parlor almost every day, and I've never seen anyone waiting in line. The ice cream is truly excellent, and the scoops are larger than usual (three scoops is the maximum you can manage before the ice cream melts :-) ).

The ice cream tasted okay, but the overall experience was disappointing. The service at the ice cream cart on the Isar River left a lot to be desired. As a customer, you feel like you're intruding – the staff's private conversations obviously took priority, and the service was unfriendly and uninviting. It's a shame, because with a little more friendliness, the visit would have been much more pleasant.

I can’t believe a place like this still exists in Germany. No card payments accepted — cash only! Totally inconvenient, especially for travelers or anyone who doesn't carry cash. In a country like Germany, this is just embarrassing. Won’t be coming back.

Unpleasant experience because they don't accept credit cards for purchases under 10 euros (I don't understand why they don't accept this payment and I consider it an abusive rule). The ice cream is good, but it's better to buy it somewhere else where they accept credit cards.

I once gave 1 star here because of the price increases, which I can only partially understand. But I'm now giving it 4 stars because the price increases are still reasonable compared to others and you really have to give Patagon credit for the fact that you get really big balls here and therefore you really get something for your money that you can't get away with twice as much. Definitely better than a rip-off place like Bartu where you pay €3 if you're a bit stupid at least. If you're smart, go here and pay less for better ice cream with a better size. However, if the ice cream here costs €3 at some point, it will only get one star again ☝️ The ice cream tastes great and the employees are always friendly. It's a bit overcrowded, so it's not an option for a spontaneous ice cream in between, you have to have time here.

We stayed half an hour in a line to be told that we can not pay by card. It is written on the cashier that they do accept EC card only for payments more than 10€, but there is no information about credit cards. Very disappointing.

We came to visit Nymphenburg Castle and wanted to eat ice cream. Heading to Patagon we had a real treat with their ice cream. We recommend it, take a detour to eat an ice cream in Patagon, it's delicious.
