Passaparola Haidhausen in München

What was the Passaparola team today? Rarely have I been served such unloving food 😏 The pasta with pulpo and sun-dried tomatoes was completely irrelevant. The Vongole are not even available from the map. We then ordered your lasagna as a replacement. It was then served cold on the table below. After our complaint, 15 minutes later, half the portion was newly prepared with lots of tomato sauce?!? The lasagne itself was a lump of pasta with no taste, the cheese was not browned and tasted inferior to any ready-made lasagne. No comparison to the past where we regularly got these to go. The waiter obviously didn't care, not a word of apology and when asked why it took so long to warm up (the other pasta had long since been eaten) he shrugged his shoulders🙈 Conclusion: a total failure and not a recommendation in this form. It's a shame because your concept of price/performance is missing in Haidhausen.

Ordered lasagna. This was served cold in the middle and bottom after about 20 minutes. Conclusion: warmed up but not freshly made. I let them go back and asked them to put them in the oven again. After 15 minutes, a smaller portion was brought back to my seat on a fresh plate. Regardless of the temperature, this was the worst lasagna I have ever been served at an Italian restaurant. Little meat - lots of cheap cheese, hardly any taste, artificial consistency and overwhelmed by a tomato sauce. My husband had pasta with pulpo, which was OK but not a revelation. If you want to eat good Italian food, you're better off looking for another restaurant. We probably won't go there again.

Simple atmosphere, very nice service, very good pizza, very fair prices.

I arrived looking forward to a good experience and was sorely disappointed. I recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of excellent Italian restaurants in the neighborhood within a few blocks of this one. The food. The pizza was lacking in taste. It came out within minutes of my order. I felt rushed in an empty restaurant. Much too much cheese, very little sauce. I ate a few bites and left 90% of it uneaten. No option for Tafelwasser so I had to buy an expensive bottle. Every other Italian restaurant in the neighborhood offers Tafelwasser for a reasonable price. Also, no beer from tap. Now to the service. Upon arrival, I was refused a table in the front of the restaurant. I spoke to the young lady manager/Cheffin because there were multiple tables available as well as many people preparing to leave, as I found out later. She rudely insisted I sit in the back by myself (there were only two others in that room, paying and the room was then completely empty besides me). So I ate my dinner in a sterile room by myself when there were tables free in the front of the restaurant where I requested to be seated and was more lively. A few minutes into my meal, I looked into the front of the restaurant and all the people had cleared out except for two. In the back where I was seated, every table was vacant. I had to seek out the manager/Cheffin to ask for the bill because no one was checking on me in the back. When the manager/Cheffin finally brought the bill, I conveyed my disappointment to her about the whole experience, the table, the food, the service, I like to give feedback and don’t like writing negative reviews. She proceeded to rudely berate and vigorously argue at me. I did not want to engage and informed her of such. I ended up just saying I’m leaving And I left. I was charged the full amount and I ate a few bites. What an unpleasant experience. I have never encountered a more argumentative, rude and aggressive person as the manager/Cheffin. I twice requested her name and she refused to provide it. She was a young lady. I would have liked to resolve the issue as I told her. I would’ve accepted an apology. I might stop by and try to talk to the owner if it is a different person and explain the situation. I don’t like writing such negative reviews. It was really awful. I hope her boss reads this and talks to her. I visited around 20:00 on 16 Feb. if the owner wants to reach out to me, they can let me know in response to this review and I will check the review and contact them.

Llegué con ganas de una buena experiencia y me decepcionó mucho. Recomiendo buscar en otra parte. Hay un montón de excelentes restaurantes italianos en el barrio a pocas cuadras de este. La comida. A la pizza le faltaba sabor. Salió a los pocos minutos de mi pedido. Sentí prisa en un restaurante vacío. Demasiado queso, muy poca salsa. Comí unos bocados y dejé el 90% sin comer. No hay opción para Tafelwasser, así que tuve que comprar una botella cara. Todos los restaurantes italianos en el barrio ofrecen Tafelwasser a un precio razonable. Además, no hay cerveza del grifo. Ahora al servicio. Al llegar, me negaron una mesa en frente del restaurante. Hablé con la joven gerente / Cheffin porque había varias mesas disponibles, así como mucha gente preparándose para salir, como me enteré más tarde. Ella insistió groseramente en que me sentara en la parte trasera por mí mismo (solo había otros dos en esa habitación, pagando y la habitación estaba completamente vacía además de mí). Así que comí mi cena en una habitación estéril solo cuando había mesas libres en la parte delantera del restaurante donde solicité estar sentado y estaba más animado. Unos minutos después de mi comida, miré hacia el frente del restaurante y toda la gente se había ido excepto dos. En la parte de atrás donde estaba sentado, todas las mesas estaban vacías. Tuve que buscar al gerente/Cheffin para pedir la factura porque nadie me estaba mirando en la parte de atrás. Cuando el gerente/Cheffin finalmente trajo la factura, le transmití mi decepción sobre toda la experiencia, la mesa, la comida, el servicio, me gusta dar comentarios y no me gusta escribir comentarios negativos. Ella procedió a reprenderme groseramente y discutir vigorosamente. No quería comprometerme y le informé de ello. Terminé diciendo que me iba Y me fui. Me cobraron el monto total y comí algunos bocados. Qué experiencia tan desagradable. Nunca me he encontrado con una persona más discutible, grosera y agresiva como el gerente / Cheffin. Le pedí su nombre dos veces y ella se negó a dárselo. Era una jovencita. Me hubiera gustado resolver el problema como le dije. Habría aceptado una disculpa. Podría pasar y tratar de hablar con el propietario si es una persona diferente y explicar la situación. No me gusta escribir críticas tan negativas. Fue realmente horrible. Espero que su jefe lea esto y hable con ella.

Wir waren gestern mal wieder in Haidhausen und haben uns an das Passaparola erinnert, wo wir bereits letztes Jahr ausgezeichnet gegessen hatten. Dieses Mal haben wir uns für Scampi als Vorspeise und danach für den Thunfisch auf gebratenen Artischocken entschieden. Beides traumhaft, die Scampi knackig gebraten und innen saftig, das Salatbukett nicht minder frisch und knackig. Der Thunfisch war perfekt gebraten und geschmacklich ausgezeichnet, ein Traum waren die gebratenen Artischocken, die zuvor wohl leicht mariniert wurden - beides zusammen ein geschmackliches Fest. Dazu den Custoza-Hauswein und danach noch einen Cappuccino - wir haben es genossen! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und das alles auch zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Wir kommen sicherlich sehr bald wieder!

Excellent again this time! Yesterday we were in Haidhausen again and remembered Passaparola, where we had an excellent meal last year. This time we chose scampi as a starter and then tuna on fried artichokes. Both fantastic, the scampi crispy fried and juicy on the inside, the salad bouquet no less fresh and crunchy. The tuna was perfectly fried and tasted excellent, the fried artichokes, which had probably been lightly marinated beforehand, were a dream - both together a taste feast. Plus the Custoza house wine and then a cappuccino - we enjoyed it! The service was very attentive and friendly and all at a very fair price. We will definitely be back very soon!

The food tasted good. The ambience is cool.

First the good: the service was very quick and goal-oriented. The ambience is pleasantly warm, also in terms of color. Very comfortable. The Margarita Snobs say: The pizza bread can't decide between Neapolitan and Roman. The cheese tastes like cheap gratin cheese / Spätzele. The Spezi wasn't as fizzy as usual since it was served in carafes, not bottles. The vegan says: I was deprived of extra garlic. They didn't have tap water either. Too bad. I asked for oyster mushrooms and got mushrooms. We salted our pizzas because something was missing. Because my eggplants were a little dry, I poured a little oil over them. It was ok, but expected more.

I was surprised by the good food. Inconspicuous from the outside but first class starters and pizzas. I had goat cheese with salad and a huge tartare. Both 1a! Prices for this quality are absolutely reasonable

I particularly like the food there. Spaghetti Carbonara is the original there. And I never eat the pizza part, I eat it alone with a clear conscience. Good thing it's not that crowded there yet

I really like the goat cheese on salad with a good white wine there. Finally back with lots of fresh chanterelles. Also very good espresso. Summer in the city, sitting outside, having lunch. Very nice staff.

Ich war selten so unmöglich und unhöflich behandelt worden wie in diesem Lokal. Die Bedienung versteht sich nicht als die Servicekraft sondern als Geschäftsführerin….das Essen war auch nicht gut: Pizzateig war nicht durch, Belag sah sonderbar aus. Kann jedem nur abraten

Starters were good, but main course for the vegetarisch was not tasty. We had a vegetarisch pizza and a pasta and they were not that good. But in the dessert we had Tiramisu and it tasted really great. They serve good alcohol and service is quick and rates are also not that high. But dont expect a fancy interior or ambience here. table chair are normal. They also have different washrooms for men and women which are spacious.

Party of 6 last night plus a well behaved dog. We enjoyed bruschetta, calzone and pizza. Everything was superb! Unassuming place with of plenty of space in adjoining rooms. Very friendly family service.

Alla ricerca di una pizzeria di fiducia vicino casa, io e la mia fidanzata ci siamo imbattuti in Passaparola. Pizza buona e leggera, servizio attento ed efficiente. Il tiramisù mi ha fatto sentire proprio come a casa. Prezzi più bassi rispetto alla media cittadina, lasciare la mancia da voi è un piacere! Weiter so!

Corner of Italy in Monaco. Looking for a trusted pizzeria near home, my girlfriend and I came across Passaparola. Good, light pizza, attentive and efficient service. The tiramisu made me feel right at home. Lower prices than the city average, leaving a tip with you is a pleasure! Weiter I know!

Ich bin kein Tourist sondern ein Münchner und gehe gerne und oft zum Essen. Das Essen im Passaparola ist WIRKLICH sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die Portionen sind gut. Leider lässt das Ambiente schon sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Tische sind so lieblos eingedeckt. Das ganze Lokal ist so garnicht italienisch. Es ist alles so reduziert und einfach. Das Mobiliar ist billig. Als ob man in einem Fastfood-Lokal sitzt. Schade eigentlich. Da könnte man mehr draus machen. Vielleicht fängt man ja mal mit ein bischen italienischer Musik an. We love the pizza from this place and see most of the time our neighborhood friends over there. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

We were there a quarter of an hour before opening time and were let in by an employee and we were immediately offered a seat. The food was super good and so was the wine. The employees were all nice and attentive. Only in the toilets does the door go directly into the toilet, so you should keep an eye on whether anyone is in there, otherwise you have to wait a short time.

Simple but friendly and damn tasty! Sometimes you don't need more.

Top pizza... for those who don't want the fat Napoli pizzas :-) Risotto top. Nothing to complain about.

You can go in there. Was there with the family. Food should no longer be more expensive. But the price-performance ratio is okay. Especially for Munich. Children loved the pizza. Only the egg on the Quattro Stagioni was unusual. Friendly service. Somewhat long waiting times. Ambience in the interior is a little sterile.

So leid es mir tut, aber ich fand die Pizza bzw. Pizzen grauenhaft - wir teilten uns jeweils eine. Auf der vier Käsesorten war der Käse teilweise roh draufgelegt - also ungeschmolzen. Mag sein, dass es Regionen gibt in denen das üblich ist, oder es sich hier um eine besondere Machart handelte, ich für meinen Teil fand es mehr als irritierend und geschmacklich grenzwertig. Als Vorspeise hatten wir ein Tartar, das war gut. Man sitzt auch nicht sonderlich gemütlich in dem Restaurant, die Tische stehen sehr eng. Der Service hingegen war sehr freundlich.

Essen war durchschnittlich aber preislich akzeptabel. Mussten echt lang auf alles warten. Bisschen Kantinenambiente. Freundlicher Service

Unruhiges Ambiente, lange Wartezeiten und unaufmerksamer Service - hat uns leider nicht überzeugt!

War So Abend dort, obwohl sehr viel los war, wurde mit einem Lächeln bedient (!) - Ich genoss eine ausgesprochen gute Pizza, die unwöhnlich einfallsreich, belegt war. Das gute Dessert und der Grappa haben den Abend abgerundet. - Wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe, komme ich wieder. :-)

Einfach italienisch. Perfekte Pizza & Pasta. Sehr geschmackvolle Location, mit sehr aufmerksamen und bezaubernd lächelndem Service, als Krone noch; der charmante Pizza Bäcker. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen ist immer lecker und preiswert das Lokal ist sehr schön und mann wird immer freundlich bedient und im Lokal schreibt man Freundlichkeit und den wiedererkennungswert groß an,das gibt es nicht überall.

Mein nördlichster Lieblingsitaliener. Super authentische Pizza, freundlicher Service und faire Preise! Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Ich habe bei diesem Restaurant schon öfter bestellt und geschmacklich ist es in Ordnung bis ganz gut, aber nicht überragend. Portionen sind allerdings wirklich klein, wie auch schon in anderen Bewertungen zu lesen ist. Oktopussalat ist ein mini Tentakel und Gemüsewürfeln zu circa 10€. Nudelportionen werden abgemessen, 80g oder 120g, bin mir nicht mehr ganz sicher. Hatte Nudeln zum Mitnehmen bestellt und die allseits bekannte Aluschale war grade mal zu 1/3 gefüllt (das habe ich so noch nie bei einem Italiener erlebt). Salate sind im Bezug auf Preis und Menge auch nicht angemessen. Diese Punkte habe ich auch mal telefonisch moniert, allerdings bin ich nur mit einer lapidaren Antwort abgespeist worden. Zusammenfassend: Essen gut/ok, Preise überzogen im Verhätnis zu Menge und Qualität. Da gibt es bessere italienische Restaurants in Haidhausen.

Ich war am Sonntag dort mit meiner Freundin. Sie hatte Pizza Rucola und ich Pizza Trevisana. Ihre Pizza war wirklich gut und meine war leider nicht so gelungen. An sich der Teig hat uns beiden ganz gut geschemckt. Vor allen war der Teig überhaupt nicht zäh, nachdem die Pizzen kalt geworden waren. Der Radicchio bei meiner Pizza war offenbar zu lange gebacken und dadurch hat er nicht nur seine schöne lila Farbe verloren (siehe das Bild. Leider wurden die Blätter sehr dunkel und sogar schwarz) und das Aroma auch. Es waren reichliche Salami auf die Pizza, was eigentlich positiv war, weil es nicht an Belag gespart wurde. Aber leider hat die Pizza Trevisana eher nach Pizza Salami geschmackt, weil der Radicchio geschmacklich mit dem Fleisch nicht ausgleichen konnte. Dennoch freue ich mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch zu Passaparola. Ich finde die Auswahl an Speisen gut und der Preis ist angemessen. Mein Feedback zur Pizza Trevisana habe am Abend auch gegeben.

Pizza wirklich sehr gut! Perfekt knuspriger Boden! Leider nur Barzahlung, aber zes war gar kein Problem am nächsten Tag das Geld zu bringen. Waren an beiden Tagen wirklich nett! Da hole ich jetzt zukünftig immer meine Pizza!

Heard many good things about this place and came here to pick up a Pizza Napoli and Tagliatelle. The pizza was ok but nothing standing out really. Crust a bit dry/hard rather than crunchy. The Tagliatelle were ordered vegan but were drowning in cream 🤦. And yeah: "we only accept cash" twelve months into corona sounds surreal to me when even the smallest bakery is able to move to card payments.

Passaparola ist mein absoluter Lieblings Italiener. Großartige Pasta, Wahnsinn Pizza und großartiger freundlicher Service. Selten so einen guten Italiener außerhalb von Italien erlebt.

Mit Abstand der beste Italiener in Haidhausen. Pasta & Pizza super lecker und faire Preise. Immer einen Besuch wert:-)

Ein moderner Italiener ohne Firlefanz mit hervorragender Küche, sehr nettem Service und fairen Preisen. Es gibt hervorragende Pizze und auch Pasta und Risotto sind sehr authentisch und lecker!

Die Pizza aus dem Holzofen ist einfach köstlich und neben Klassikern, wie Margherita & Co gibt es hier auch endlich einmal besondere Varianten. Wir hatten bspw Pizza Clandestino mit Fenchelsalsiccia und Lauch - wow! Auch die Pasta war sehr gut, Ravioli gibt es scheinbar mit saisonal wechselnder Füllung. Als Nachspeise hatten wir u.a. hausgemachtes Haselnuss Semifredo - wirklich ein Gedicht! Grundsätzlich tolle Qualität und das richtige Maß an Vielfalt. Auch veganer finden hier genug Auswahl. Neben dem Essen hat uns auch das Ambiente sehr zu gesagt. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und einfach passend. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich; allgemein herrscht eine gute Stimmung - auch unter den Mitarbeitern. Definitiv Stammlokal-Potential, wir kommen immer wieder gerne!
