We've been wanting to come here for dinner for a while, and last Saturday we finally made it after calling at very short notice. We received a very warm welcome and service. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is quite nice, although it can get a bit noisy when it gets busy. The restrooms are clean, which I personally find very important in a restaurant. Or rather, we'll check out the restrooms first and then decide whether to stay for dinner. We'd love to come back and are already looking forward to it! Thank you so much ;-)

Tonight, on October 5, 2025, there was something wrong with the vegetables: we found a bitten radish among them. We informed the waiter, I don’t know his name, but he was a short, bald man with an arrogant attitude. Unfortunately, instead of replacing them, he said, “Okay, I will check the camera.” It was really insulting; his behavior made it seem as if we had caused the problem on purpose. After that, we canceled our order and spoke with the shift supervisor, but nothing happened! not even an apology. I just read your response, but I cannot accept your opinion. Last night, your waiter said, “Okay, I will check the camera,” and then went back to the kitchen to do so. If it was my mistake, why didn’t he explain anything or try to clarify the situation? I also didn’t receive any fair solution. Instead, I ended up teaching your waiter how to handle such situations — LOL.

The service was friendly, and the outdoor seating area where we sat was also fine. The food, however, was very dry, and the rice didn't help matters. A piece of packaged butter with it? Weird... Tip: you could at least offer a sauce or chutney with the meat/main course...

We waited a bit longer, but overall the atmosphere was very nice. We especially liked that the team surprised us at the end with cake and even photos, because it was my sister's birthday. The service was really friendly, and the food was okay, something different. Would we come back? I'd say yes, but next time we'll just be prepared to wait 50 minutes for the food, haha. Thanks to the lovely staff member who made this lovely video for my sister 🙌🏽😘

Not the best Persian, expensive and absolutely not worth it. Coming from Sweden, have eaten at many Persian restaurants and been super satisfied but we will not go there next time we are in Kiel.

Very good food. They're also very good at accommodating special requests, such as gluten-free options. The only downside is, unfortunately, the restrooms, which aren't the cleanest.

My visit to the self-proclaimed Persian restaurant "Pars" was a major disappointment. I sat with a colleague on the outdoor terrace, opposite the adjoining shisha area, which doesn't seem to fit together at all. The first impression was sobering: Dirt, dried-on rice particles, and unhygienic deposits in the cracks between the tables gave the environment the impression of a carelessly run snack bar, rather than a restaurant with culinary aspirations. The food continued this negative impression in every respect. The rice tasted old, bland, and completely lacking in flavor; what was billed as saffron rice was in fact just slightly colored turmeric rice, a small portion of which had been decoratively placed on top. My ordered lamb skewers were slightly burnt on one side and unevenly cooked on the other. The accompanying salad consisted of wilted leaves with browned edges – a condition that belongs more in the trash than on the dining table. When I asked for a dressing, the waitress asked me which vinaigrette I wanted. I naturally assumed it was homemade. Instead, she simply placed the usual containers of olive oil and balsamic vinegar on my table – but in a state that lacked any sense of professionalism. The containers were completely smeared on the outside, dripping with traces of oil and vinegar, and looked so unappealing that it almost took away your appetite. If this is how you present the "vinaigrette" to a guest, then it's nothing less than the restaurant's calling card – and it was disgraceful in many ways. Additionally, a cold hollandaise sauce was served, which clearly came from a packet and was completely unsuitable for an oriental dish. After I politely but firmly pointed out these grievances, I received a new plate, but had to wait so long that my colleague had long since finished his meal. Thus, there was no longer any question of a shared restaurant visit. The herbs presented a similar picture: The supposedly fresh mint contained some moldy leaves. Even the bread, which is a staple in Persian cuisine, wasn't freshly baked, but merely packaged Lebanese flatbread – further evidence of the lack of care in this establishment. The waitress initially responded evasively to my comments, and ultimately even unfriendly. Instead of taking the criticism seriously, she told me to contact the manager directly, as passing it on "wouldn't achieve anything" anyway. Denying obvious hygiene deficiencies, even though they are visible to the naked eye, is a sign of worrying indifference. When I explained that my tip was merely a courtesy, she even wanted to give it back. This restaurant cannot be recommended in any way. The food was absolutely tasteless; it was neither fresh nor authentic. Neglectful hygiene, spoiled ingredients, dirty dishes, ready-made products, and service that takes legitimate criticism as an attack make Pars by far the worst Persian restaurant I've ever visited. Anyone who values health, quality, and hospitality should definitely avoid this place!

I can recommend the Pars without hesitation.

The service was very slow for a thuesday, food presentation was nice but nothing extraordinary taste wise. white rice and potatoes and standard salad. The meat was okay but was very little.We ordered a lentil soup , the waiter brought another kind of soup with borghul and chicken and charged 9.30 euros for each. The outdoor patio was nice.

“Food: 1 star” I visited Pars in Kiel for the first time today and was unfortunately very disappointed. The atmosphere was actually nice, and the waiter was really nice and attentive – I'd like to specifically mention that as a positive. The appetizer was also okay. But the main course was a huge disappointment. The kebab had hardly any flavor, was extremely dry, and barely resembled real meat. Even worse was the rice: dry, hard, and unpleasant in texture – as if it had been made with the cheapest, poorest quality rice. There was no trace of real saffron; it was simply yellow in color, with no aroma or fragrance. I only got half a piece of grilled tomato – that was all. Because both the meat and the rice were so dry, the whole dish was really hard to eat. I've tried many Persian restaurants in Germany, but this was by far the worst experience. I won't be back and unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant.

It was abit hot , and smell of shisha, the food was ok.

I give it a 7/10! The koobideh tasted a bit bland! It doesn't compare to the Persian restaurants in Hamburg.

The only positive thing I can say is the cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, the quality and taste of the food are poor. The amount of rice is small. The soup is truly tasteless. It doesn't taste like delicious Iranian food at all.

Very tasty and can only recommend it

While searching for Persian food in Kiel, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Our expectations were exceeded. In a relaxed atmosphere, we were served generous portions, which we just about managed. Of course, the classic appetizer plate was also included. Overall, we highly recommend a visit and would be happy to return at the next opportunity.

We ordered 2 stews, neither of which were particularly good… The grill plates looked significantly better. The naan bread served was standard.

The food was okay, but I no longer think the price is reasonable (after it was raised). Orders were repeatedly delivered incorrectly. On site: At least one of the starters was out of stock. We had to wait a very long time for our food, even though only two other tables were occupied, or there were probably problems (with the system?), which meant that our order was taken again after almost an hour. That's a long time - with a little attention you could have noticed it sooner.

I hadn't made a reservation, and the restaurant was fully booked. Nevertheless, I was offered a seat in the conservatory (around 6 degrees Celsius outside). It was already occupied and slightly heated. The second gas heater was immediately switched on, which immediately made it more cozy. The service was super friendly and cheerful. The food arrived relatively quickly despite the busy crowd. The starter was plentiful and delicious. They immediately offered to wrap it up if needed. The main course was well-seasoned and warm. But what's a wrapped Meggle butter doing on a plate? A slight breach of style! A small bowl of melted butter would be a good idea. I'd stop by again if I had the chance.

Everything is very good, just the price is high.

We've been here easily once a week now. You get more for your money than you can eat. There are small appetizers while you wait. The dishes are excellent, like the original in the country of origin ❤️ nothing to complain about

We went to Pars for the first time today and it was a great evening. The staff is super nice. The starters platter was well explained. Even though I don't like coriander, it's great here. The main course was also very tasty and more than enough. This restaurant is a real recommendation.

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews. And the decision was right. Very tasty food and very friendly staff. You can sit inside and outside (even in winter, with hot mushrooms or similar). The price-performance ratio is also okay for today's times. Parking is possible in the surrounding area, at least in the evening

The food itself is delicious. Not exceptionally good but still tasty. The service and ambience is also very nice, definitely a nice place for a leisurely dinner. Unfortunately, you get very little meat for the money. My husband and I took some of the braised meat and there were really only 3-4 pieces of meat in the pot and really no big pieces. Unfortunately the salad was also very poorly prepared, I love salad but when I saw it I had no desire to eat it. Do you know when there are huge pieces of lettuce in there that are still stuck together and are white and stuff? Just as. It's a real shame, because salad really isn't rocket science... little things like that just ruin a lot, I think. If you paid attention to these things and did them better, it would be a very good restaurant indeed. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars.

I've tried many Persian restaurants in my life, but this was truly an absolute disaster! For the life of me, I can't understand how this restaurant gets such good reviews. The service? What a complete disgrace - we had to wait 15 minutes for anyone to come. The food? Served after half an hour - okay, that would have been acceptable if it had been edible. We ordered a grill plate for two people, plus two drinks, and paid a whopping €70 for it. 55€ the grill plate + 2 drinks. For comparison: In Hamburg, at one of the best Persian restaurants, the same plate costs €45. An insult to Persian cuisine! The food was ice cold, the meat completely tasteless - not even a hint of seasoning or quality. But it gets even worse: My girlfriend and I have been struggling with extreme stomach pain since yesterday. This restaurant is not only a disappointment, but simply a health hazard! Absolutely not recommended!

I ordered food today and since I like variety, I thought I would have Persian today and it was very tasty and the chili sauce is also nice and spicy, which is usually not the case elsewhere 🙈 The driver was also very friendly and so was I I would order again at any time or eat on site ☺️

Die Reservierung über die App lief problemlos. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben an Silvester ein Willkommensgetränk bekommen. Das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. At least on this evening (December 30th) a reservation via OpenTable was strongly recommended - a couple was sent away despite the apparently empty restaurant because all the tables were reserved. The food (we only ate vegetarian/vegan) was very tasty and tasted completely different from the mainstream. The presentation was also unusual and the portions were quite generous (at around €16-18 per main course). You can also order and then pick up your food. If it's not cold in winter, you can probably sit in the attached winter garden. But we found it a bit cold even in the actual dining room, so we decided not to use any more fresh air.

Es war viel los, dadurch der Abzug beim Essen denn der Salat war ohne Salatsoße, alles andere war köstlich.

Silvesterabend: Ein eifriges, äußerst nettes Serviceteam kümmert sich beinahe liebevoll um die Gäste. Das Essen ist lecker und wirkt ziemlich echt persisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich habe meinen Geburtstag in einer größeren Gruppe gefeiert. Das Essen kam gleichzeitig und hat wie immer super geschmeckt. Des weiteren gab es eine super Überraschung (mehr sage ich dazu jetzt nicht). Rundum zufrieden.

All in one more than 5 stars. Just as suitable for vegans as for vegetarians or omnivores. We had very friendly service and the boss always tried to ensure our well-being. The food was terrific! Huge portions - we had the rest packed up. You can also share a portion if you can't eat that much. It was freshly prepared and the vegetables were crunchy. The rice was a poem!!! My personal recommendation is the starter platter and V4 vegan lentil stew. The restaurant is small and cozy but it could have been a little warmer. It is clean and well maintained. Parking is easy on Eichhofstraße or Eckernförder Str. (depending on the time).

Please tell one of your drivers that we are not at the Nürburgring. Just 6.55 p.m., delivery to Suchsdorfer Weg through Eichkoppelweg (30 zone) and raced down the narrow street at over 60. Overtaken me. He then unfortunately had to stop at the intersection because the traffic light was red. At school again at excessive speed and again waiting at a red light. Impossible antisocial driving.

I've ordered here a few times and it's always been delicious! Absolutely sufficient portions and it always tastes so characteristic and strange, I love the eggplant dish with mint, the yogurt and the rice with beans. The delivery person was quick and friendly again today.

I ordered from Pars for the first time today...food was warm and there were lots of fries. That's it for the positive. The portion is definitely not worth 27 euros...a grilled tomato and 200g of meat that was partly very tough...the rest was fries. Because of the amount of fries you definitely get full...but so much money for that??? more vegetables would be great.

Small but nice. The restaurant is not too big and you sometimes sit very close to each other. Private conversations are rather difficult. Nevertheless, the service was very courteous and nice and the portion was plenty for the price! The food tasted very good! It was also nicely presented. We will definitely come back.

It was quite busy on Saturday evening and we got the last table. The service was apparently a bit overwhelmed. Napkins were missing and the place was not prepared correctly.

I ordered food today, the Bakhtiari dish. The food arrived on time in plastic packaging so it was prepared food. The safari rice tastes nothing like the real safari rice, the kebab was very elastic like a rubber and the chicken also had a very strange taste and I laughed my ass off because of the limit that was included, but unfortunately it wasn't pressed with full force just a single drop says inside. So overall I am very very disappointed with the dish which costs more than €20. Not recommended at all!!! There wasn't even any bread. Well guys, to me this is just like a rip off, our satisfaction is not worth it at all. Best regards food tester

First visit and immediately fell in love with the restaurant. The food tasted great and the service was great. But what really surprised me was the price for the mini glass tea, which was €3.10. If something can be changed in this case, I would be very happy.

Sehr nette Bedienung und das Essen war gut. Mir persönlich zu viel Reis und zu wenig Fleisch (Geschmortes). Das Eis mit den Glasnudeln war ungewöhnlich, aber sehr lecker. Der Platz draußen war Dank Heizstrahler und dicke Folien drumherum sehr angenehm zu sitzen.

Yes, ....quite tasty, but not very much "Persian" about it, sorry, but "a lot" of rice with a little saffron on it (yes, saffron is expensive, but sooo little??) The chicken meat....😳well, it could have been a little more, and also a little more seasoned. If you add everything up, it was a little, a little, too expensive! 🙈 Maybe it will be even cheaper until the restaurant closes soon...🙏🤟 All the best for the future !!!

If you're looking for an alternative to everyday life, you've come to the right place. There is a wide range of food on offer, the quantities are completely sufficient and after you have eaten you can relax with a water pipe and tea in the outdoor area

Unfortunately, original Persian food is very rare. Unfortunately, in many restaurants, the taste is distorted by mixing additional spices or ingredients that are not part of the traditional preparation! PARS KIEL really surprised us very positively here. We ordered a small starter plate beforehand and the grill plate as the main course. Simply delicious and really well prepared. Finally, we ordered the Persian saffron ice cream as dessert because we really wanted to try it out for ourselves and we were thrilled here too. Clear recommendation from us. We will definitely come by more often.

The food is absolutely tasty, the staff is always friendly. I have always perceived prices as high, unfortunately they have risen sharply within 2 years (15%+) so that I simply can no longer afford a visit there. I can't really judge whether this is justified, but almost 10€ for Kashke Bademdjan (eggplant puree) as a starter (!) seems at least questionable to me.
