Family brunch at Upstalsboom - breakfast and lunch What a huge disappointment! A simple jar of jam without any indication of the contents stood alone with a jar of Nutella as an offering for breakfast enjoyment. A carafe with something similar to cereal and milk should probably represent the cereal corner. I'm looking for fresh fruit, dried fruits, nuts, grains, yoghurt, quark... All things that are part of a healthy breakfast... In vain!! Luckily, the garnish on the cheese plate consisted of fruit, which I then ate. The fish buffet with many different delicacies was very good. But here too there were no fresh side dishes. So I added the sprouts that were garnish here. Then on to the lunch special. Unfortunately, nothing fresh here either. A few tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce are simply a must! None. A fish alternative to meat would also have been good, not to mention a vegetarian option, which is standard today. A cheese plate, OK and dessert. Unfortunately, the chocolate cream was already gone when I got to dessert and there was only one of the three ice cream flavors left. There was coffee and juices to drink. If you wanted to drink water, you had to pay extra for it. At a price of 33 euros for the buffet........ It's a shame, we were really looking forward to brunch.

Not good service! Good hotel for one night but the prices are really not worth it!! The service is totally disorganized and the food is not of quality.

We were there with 11 people There is typical German food there, from potato dumplings to red cabbage to beef rolls. The food was brought to the table for all 11 people at the same time and at the perfect temperature. The food was very well prepared, both in terms of taste and how it was presented. The service was very attentive and very friendly. All in all it was a very nice dinner.

Gourmet buffet - very good, great quality and of course delicious. Great service from young people who seem to be getting a very good education here! Attentive, present and yet discreet and courteous - respect, that is a rarity these days We would love to come back again

We only stayed in the hotel for one night and felt very comfortable. The very friendly staff plays a large part in this. We'd love to come back!

We were there for brunch today. Highly Recommended! Everything is the finest and very, very tasty. Really great and high quality food. Very nice and attentive staff. We felt good. We'll definitely be back!

Had lunch here for the 2nd time today. The fish was really tasty. Otherwise, in addition to initial ignorance, we were surrounded by a certain unfriendliness. Well, we skipped dessert and espressos. You don't want to overwhelm anyone. We won't be coming back.

Candle light dinner A nice atmosphere and a perfectly trained staff. We like coming here. However, quality has its price...

Wir waren beim Familienbrunch, Thema Tappas, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Tolle Auswahl, eine riesige Fisch -Platte mit allen möglichen Räucherfisch Delikatessen . Viele Meeresfrüchtesalate und Garnelen . Auch die warmen Speisen waren hervorragend. Kann man empfehlen!!

Wir haben noch nie so schlecht gegessen wie heute Abend im Parkhotel in Emden - Kabeljau mit kaltem Reis und undefierbarem Pfannengemüse-

Das war eine sehr positive Überraschung! Hatten das 6-Gänge-Menue. War wirklich gut und für 40€ ein echtes Schnäppchen. Total flexibel auf Unverträglichkeiten reagiert, das Pilz-Risotto war genial, Rumpsteak perfekt, Entenbrustfilefs auf Salat, Himbeer-Parfait, Kokos-Curry-Suppe, vorweg Honigmelone mit Parmaschinken und zum Schluss noch Dessert. Vielleicht insgesamt etwas zu viel, aber das ist keine Kritik. Sehr angenehm auch das Personal, kein Drängeln nach weiteren Getränken. Mehr als empfehlenswert!

Eine sehr kurze, jedoch exzellente Karte. Erstklassiges Essen. Frisch und lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich und überaus aufmerksam. Ein rundum gelungener Eindruck.

Wir haben hier ein 6 Gänge Menü gegessen. Es war wirklich sehr lecker. Die Getränkeauswahl ist gross und gut. Der Service ausgezeichnet. Die meisten würden sagen ,eher hochpreisig.Ich sage, gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder

Without having much reviews, we went and have dinner here. It's a nice restaurant and a service with a smile, for those who aren't mastering German, the menu is in english and some of the waitresses speak very good english (might even be better than mine). The food is for a german kitchen from very good quality.. You might want to eat a starter and dessert because the main dishes are rather small. Nevertheless enjoyed my evening here!
