Restaurant & Cocktailbar Mojito Emden in Emden

We've been there twice (so far). It was very busy on Friday, so expect a bit of a wait. The food is absolutely top-notch, the service is friendly, and the price/performance ratio is right. Why you can't pay by card in such a good restaurant remains a mystery to me, though... We got a table without a reservation. We placed our order with an unfriendly, unsmiling "server" and waited a whopping 50 minutes for two burgers. They completely forgot about us! The lighting in the restaurant was like a red-light district, and the restrooms had blue LED lights. Everything was very spooky and impossible to return to.

A lovely bar with delicious food and delicious cocktails. The prices are still very reasonable compared to other bars. The ambiance is very appealing and cozy. Thumbs up! If I lived in Emden, this would be my regular haunt.

A good place if you're hungry and need a meat-heavy meal... Tex-Mex classics like quesadillas and enchiladas are also part of the menu... The service is particularly noteworthy, as they always answer all questions in a friendly manner... Great evening, good food...

The service was quite nice and the atmosphere quite cozy, so far so good. When the enchiladas I ordered arrived 40 minutes later, everything seemed fine at first. But as soon as I took the first bite, I was met with a taste that I couldn't identify with my food. Uncertain but curious, I decided to get to the bottom of this mystery. I opened the flatbread, but I wasn't prepared for what awaited me. A battlefield of cauliflower, broccoli, ridged carrots, and peas stretched across my plate. I was certainly familiar with this combination under the name "butter vegetables," but definitely not in connection with enchiladas. Because they usually contain beans, corn, tomatoes, and jalapeño peppers. BUT NOT A DAMN BUTTER VEGETABLES!!!

We had a wonderful visit to Mojito in Emden this evening. The food was delicious, and our service was simply excellent—super friendly, attentive, and fulfilled our every need. Thank you for the lovely evening; we'll be back!

Great Mexican, good food and fast service

Update JULY 2025. We went there twice again. We stayed an extra day on vacation just to finally experience happy hour. Each cocktail was between 5.50 and 6.50. Alex, the owner, recognized us right away...a really cool guy. We're looking forward to next year. After a large café down the street didn't seem to like our money, we happened to pass by the Mojito on the way to the car. A very friendly woman showed us a seat by the window, the drinks menu came immediately, and the cocktails didn't take long at all. Considering I didn't want to go in, but then ended up having two drinks that I would order again immediately, I'm more than pleasantly surprised. We'll be back in Emden next year, and back to this great location.

Very tasty! Went here a few times on a vacation and was happy to come back. They have a mix of Mexican inspired food and pub food.

The food and the service, apart from a few careless errors, were great despite the fact that the shop was completely full. The food was very nicely prepared and the portions filled everyone well. The only downside was that it was a bit very warm in the shop and it could have been ventilated if necessary. Nevertheless, I would like to come back

A cool spot for the evening or night. The waiters were attentive and friendly. The music wasn't too loud, so you could still have a good conversation. The cocktails were also quite good.

We were able to experience the turn of the year 2024/2025 during a short vacation in Emden at Mojito. Everything was just GREAT! Great location, great service staff, perfect atmosphere. The rich buffet, the diverse selection of drinks including the fabulous cocktails made the turn of the year a wonderful day. Alex and Heike, you can be proud of your Mojito and your team. By far the worst cocktail bar in Germany. The cocktails are overpriced and are so overloaded with ice that you can hardly get anything to drink. The waitresses are unfriendly and the service is basically terrible. If you talk to the owner about the topic, you will be greeted with a very unfriendly breakfast with the motto "We don't care about you, we have enough customers". The store is only doing so well because there are no alternatives in Emden. In larger cities, such a poorly managed store would have gone bankrupt a long time ago. P. S. I think even one star is too much

Unfortunately, I'm not thrilled at all anymore. I used to go there often and was always satisfied. This was the second time I've been back in a short time and there were only problems. The first time I ordered a vegetarian burger and got one with meat. Now a new attempt this weekend. The service was super slow and inattentive. We also waited over an hour for our food. The vegetarian burger came right this time - unfortunately the patty was cold (not cold, but refrigerator cold). The burger was exchanged without any problems - but unfortunately the wrong burger arrived. When asked, all they said was: The boss says everything is correct. It's a shame never again

Nice restaurant with good prices, I prefer to come for happy hour. You can easily get a table during the week without a reservation and you don't have to wait long. I also celebrated my birthday here. The waiters are all very friendly, competent and give good recommendations. Food tastes delicious. Kind regards to Yara and Larissa, the two pretty waitresses <3

We registered with eight people. Unfortunately this time we had to wait almost two hours for our food. It would have been nice if we had been informed about it. Cocktails were great as always.

Great bar, cocktails and steak were top. Friday/Saturday is busy so make a reservation.

The food is absolutely delicious... but we had to wait over 2 hours for the food. That's definitely too long. If the kitchen cannot handle the guests, you should send guests away if necessary. This happens and no more 😔

Anyone who comes from East Frisia knows the Mojito. Delicious cocktails and delicious food in a nice atmosphere. Service has always been great there.

We can only say something about the drinks and service since we didn't eat anything. But the atmosphere is nice and everything worked for us. We were very surprised by the ambience, as the house from the outside does not reflect what you experience inside.👍🏻

We often sit here, everything is very tasty. On Fridays, the coolest thing is the price and delicious dishes. One minus is that when you ask for beer right away, it won’t be delivered right away, although the cocktail is understandably first come, first serve...

Mega! We actually wanted to go to another store, but were turned away. Went there by chance. People always say “the best shops are in the non-touristy streets”. That's how it was here too. Nice ambience. Nice service and the food was a 10/10. If we didn't come from Cologne, we would definitely come again😅😍. The price was also very good for the size (there were three of us, everyone had a complete meal (including spare rips (17 pieces), loaded fries,...), plus 5 drinks 66€) Very very good! Maybe put a few more songs in the playlist, we heard every song 3 times 😂

Food and service were impeccable. Unfortunately, there are no full-fledged options for vegetarians in the standard menu... we didn't have any other menus. In my opinion, leaving out meat is not enough for a vegetarian dish because it means the protein content is too low. For example, there are very tasty recipes for chili sin carne.😉 I would like it if legumes and tofu were taken into account more in Mexican cuisine.🙂

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Wir bestellten 2 unterschiedliche Cocktails. Beide waren nicht wirklich kalt und einer der beiden schmeckte als ob kein Alkohol drin wäre und als ob billiger Multivitaminsaft verwendet worden wäre. Als wir die. Bedienung ansprachen meinte sie, es doch natürlich wäre genug drin, aber die Drinks wären am Morgen angemixt worden (das erklärt alles) und durch den süßen Saft könne man den Alkohol nicht schmecken. Um fair zu sein, das Essen können wir nicht bewerten, weil wir nur Drinks hatten

So I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it has become. I haven't been there for a long time, but now I'll go there more often. So cozy, the decor, the lights nicely dimmed, the food was very tasty, plentiful and a pleasant price. Great!! Can be recommended and in the middle of the city, so very central. Enough parking spaces nearby.

Ambience great. Cocktails delicious, priced within the usual range. Had the appetizer platter, which was very tasty. Service was very friendly, but it took almost 20 minutes until we had the menu and could order. But food and cocktails came quickly

Unfortunately I was very disappointed the second time. After 20 minutes we were asked about drinks for the first time. We then ordered the food at the same time. And the drinks came at the same time as the 6 dishes. When the criticism of the service was expressed, the gentleman became cheeky and insulting. Unfortunately this was my last visit. Absolute NOGO But the girls are great :) And the kitchen too

Very nice cocktail bar with a fantastic frozen strawberry margarita. The prices are reasonable, the nachos are filling and the ambience is lively.

Today I wanted to order a table by phone. The man on the phone barely let me finish. In any case, he interrupted me "...that wouldn't work today, I should get back to you tomorrow...". I hope that the owner is reading this and not one of his employees so that he knows what his employees get up to in his absence. Here on this platform you can spread the word beautifully that this type of service is more than bad. It's understandable that people don't spend their money there. Greetings to the owner, it would have been a table for 6 people... can he charge his employee for what he missed.

We came for a few drinks, tried some new drinks on the menu but they didn't quite hit the spot, something was missing to make it complete. The rest of the 5 drinks were very good, it was difficult to order drinks as they overlooked us, but got better as the evening went on🤑

We drank cocktails here and, since we didn't know all the ingredients, we were given great advice. The cocktails we tried were delicious, I would love to come back here. It is a cozy cocktail bar with friendly employees who also enjoy their job.

Seit mittlerweile 16 Jahren kenne ich Alex und das Mojito. Noch kein einziges Mal bin ich enttäuscht worden oder hungrig geblieben. Eine absolute Bereicherung für Emden und die Region. Auf noch viele weitere Besuche bei euch.

Was there few times. Enjoyed the some tacos and burritos. Portions are quite big, so , imo, enough to feel well packed afterwards :) bar is okayisch. Also quite cosy. But service is not super fast, so its a good place to chill out without any rush.

Nettes Ambiente und tadelloses Essen

Wie immer alles ( Essen,Getränke,Service und Ambiente) TOP.

Das Essen war sehr gut, die Preise angemessen. Etwas lange Wartezeit, aber der Laden war eben auch sehr voll.

Tolle Atmosphäre, super Auswahl, nettes und professionelles Personal. Mehr muss man glaube ich nicht mehr sagen.

Vorweg sei erwähnt, dass sich das Mojito meiner Meinung nach eher als Cocktailbar präsentiert. Trotzdem wird man hier kulinarisch nicht enttäuscht bzw. wurde ich das nie bei meinen Besuchen über 2 Jahre hinweg. Essen/Getränke: Ich habe nicht erwartet ein so gutes Zusammenspiel von Essen und Getränken zu erhalten. Der Gargrad des Steak hat gepasst genauso wie die Fleischqualität, welche ich für diesen Preis erwartet habe. Es stehen eine Reihe von alkoholischen und alkoholfreien Cocktails auf der Karte. Zu den alkoholfreien Cocktails sei noch gesagt, dass hier mit Augenmaß gearbeitet wird. Zucker wird mit Bedacht eingesetzt, soll ja schließlich keine Limo sein, Danke dafür. Service: Hier muss ich leider ein Punkt abziehen, da uns trotz freier Plätze, kein Platz zugewiesen wurde. Hier sei der nette Barkeeper erwähnt, welcher uns dann kurzerhand einem Tisch zugewiesen hat. Ansonsten ist das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ambiente: Eine Cocktailbar mit einem gut abgestimmten Interieur. An mancher Stelle ist es etwas enger aber das sollte jedem klar, wenn es in eine Bar geht 😉

Der Long Island Ice-Tea war etwas dünn aber der Mai Tai war 👍
