Parkrestaurant Tannenhäuschen in Wesel

We spent a wellness weekend there in January 2024 and were very disappointed. The outdoor pool was out of service. There were no infusions or sports activities. The food was mediocre, and the drink prices were outrageous. A 0.1 Aperol Spritz, served in a champagne glass, cost €8.90. The value for money was not right for us at all.

Today on Christmas Day I went there to eat with my family. We had been informed in advance that food on holidays would cost 55 euros per person. At the table we were told that the food would cost 79 euros per person. You have to imagine 79 euros per person. We thought ok, that can't be changed anyway. Then the huge disappointment. We are not guests there for the first time but today was the last time. Really nothing special in comparison to the normal buffet. In fact, many delicious things were missing that we usually liked and were also special. Some of the food was not prepared properly. It was cold, the entrecot was wobbly, the Brussels sprouts were hard, the fish was mixed. No chocolate fountain, game, only venison. Just potatoes in their skins, no rice, no casserole. All in all, really not worth the price. The price is simply ridiculous.

Although there was a lot on offer on the buffet, when I asked due to a celery allergy there was almost nothing that was possible for me. Unfortunately, labeling of allergens in food is not yet good in many restaurants. Almost everything here is in sauce and therefore not suitable. In better houses I was usually offered to freshly prepare a piece of fish or meat/poultry for me without sauces... I hoped for that in vain here.

I ended my sauna day relaxing in the restaurant. The buffet offered some top-notch options. It's a shame I wasn't more hungry. Excellent!

First of all, the food is beyond criticism, it is excellently prepared and the meat, for example, is cooked to perfection. Mind you, quality has its price, but rightly so in my opinion. The service consists largely of young ladies who fulfill the guests' wishes quickly and in a good mood. The ambience... It always depends on taste. I would describe it as “rustic oak”, but very harmonious and yet somehow cozy. I would recommend this house

Super Lecker, toller Service 👍🏽

Es ist dort wunderschön und für ein Wellnesshotel sehr günstig. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und sind freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt worden. Nachdem wir eine Hydrojetmassage verpasst hatten , wurde uns diese problemlos und kulant einfach noch einmal zu einem für uns passenden Zeitpunkt angeboten. Das Essen war genial. Wir hatten abends Buffet, es war äußerst reichhaltig und sehr sehr lecker. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ebenso großartig. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und wir konnten uns wunderbar entspannen. Die Umgebung ist toll, man hat das Gefühl, man ist im Wald.

Essen wirklich tolle Qualität und super Auswahl. Aber leider völlig überteuert. Wer schafft es für 50€ zu Essen? Selbst wenn man nur Steaks essen würde steht es in keinem Verhältnis. Schade denn das Ambiente ubd der Service sind wirklich top. Leider ist das Essen auch oft kalt.

Viel zu teuer! Die Zimmer müssen dringend renoviert werden. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit

Das Restaurant gehört zum Tannenhäuschen- Hotel. Wir haben hier nach unserem Wellness gegessen. Die Speisen waren alle sehr lecker. Die Innenarchitektur war etwas verwirrend aufgebaut, man braucht etwas un zu wissen was wo ist.

Hier gibt es das rundum sorglos Paket. Wir haben Buffet gewählt und konnten uns vor Variantenreichtum nicht retten. Hier ist für jeden was dabei, ob frisch direkt zubereitet oder kalte Köstlichkeiten.

Es gab Wiener Schnitzel mit Spargel. Sehr gut. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut.

sehr vielfältig, für jeden passendes dabei, man muss nur aufpassen, das man nicht zu viel isst. Da so viel Leckeres und bei den Hauptgerichten auch etwas zurückhalten, damit von den leckeren Desserts oder Eis noch genügend reinpasst

Ein tolles Lokal, sehr gute Küche. Das Büfett ist abwechslungsreich und vielfältig. Speisen könnten wärmer sein, aber geschmacklich spitze. Service ist schnell und sehr freundlich.

Wir haben einen Wellnessaufenthalt von Freitag bis Sonntag genossen. Das Personal ist aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit. Im Bistro war es Samstagmittag sehr voll und auch die beiden guten Kellnerinnen mit dem Andrang etwas überfordert, erhielten nachher Hilfe. Der Saunapark ist ordentlich und alles ist sauber. Sowohl Frühstück als auch das Abendessen sind gut. Die Zimmer sind gut, sehr sauber.

Wer gutes Essen und top Service in einem schönen Ambiente sucht, muss ins Tannenhäuschen.... Wir sind mindestens einmal im Jahr zu Gast.

Edel vom feinsten. .. bezahlbar. .. ist das Geld wert

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and really enjoyed it. Our room (#715) was very nice with good beds and a rain shower. Thick clean towels and a bath robe. Sufficient space in the room and bath room. No street noise or from the neighbors, restaurant or bar. The reception was ok, we had to wait for the room to be ready though when we checked in at 12:30 hrs. The wellness is beautiful with a range of sauna's in a beautiful garden setting. Lunch was good with asparagus on toast. Breakfast had a wide range of bread, cold meat, eggs, etc. But the main restaurant could use a bit of an update. Dark wooden ceilings, heavy curtains, crystal chandeliers. Do not get me wrong, nothing is broken or dirty, it just feels out dated..

This hotel is by no means inexpensive, but does not live up to the prices they are charging. Also the fact the Internet was so slow and there was absolutly no international TV stations makes one feel they are just not really trying or maybe just don't want international guests ! We did not eat in the Restaurant but the breakfast buffet was good and I felt there was a large selection. Another irritation was that no matter were we put our dirty towels ( floor , jacuzzi , shower floor ) they were not changed!!

Used to have a fantastic reputation, we were bitterly disappointed and felt they were still cashing in on their former glory. My room was dreadful, felt grubby and I reckon the curtains could have stood up in their own without a rail. Slept badly because of the noise, and was up at 5.30 ready to flee. The room and the food were awful but the bill was huge.
