The service and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately the chicken fillet was extremely dry, and for the amount we spent, I would have expected more.

The lasagna tasted like nothing, and the waiter brought the wrong drinks. Maybe you should try something else.

The carbonara there was truly inedible, as there was far too much oil at the bottom of the plate, and it wasn't seasoned at all. The waitstaff also failed to bring the correct drink, and even after two attempts to explain, the wrong ingredients were used. In my opinion, this wasn't authentic carbonara but rather a mixture of pasta, ham, and egg.

Had a great meal after a day at CentrO and Duisburg city centre.

A very cozy restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and attentive service. The salad and the schnitzel were excellent (fresh and high quality). Unfortunately, the hunter's sauce didn't quite go with it... Therefore, my recommendation: If you're going to have schnitzel, go for Wiener Schnitzel 😉

On the last day of the Duisburg Christmas market, I went back to Duisburg. I noticed this restaurant with a daily special that I immediately took advantage of. A pasta dish for €9.90, or €12.90 with salad, appealed to me. I decided to try it and see what I thought. I chose a pasta dish with salmon and a side salad. Everything was perfect and I enjoyed it. Of course, after the meal, I had to have a coffee and a grappa. They were delicious too. I'll definitely be back.

Nice restaurant. The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff were constantly bustling about, but still very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, it was quite drafty at our table as we were sitting near the door. It was very busy for a Monday evening.

We ate there on Boxing Day with two people. We got a nice little table for two without a reservation and without waiting. The food was very good and more than satisfactory. The antipasti appetizer is easily enough for two people; it would be a bit much for one. The chicken tenderloin with fries and salad was also superbly prepared. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Food and service were very satisfactory, unfortunately a bit too loud. We were a group of four at the Christmas market, but despite not having a reservation, we got a spot. Everything went perfectly. We went back again late in the evening and the service was always cheerful. We'll be back. The only thing missing is parking late at night. €40 twice on the weekend! Poor Duisburg!

Sorry, it wasn't worth the price. We had spare ribs. Unfortunately, they weren't marinated or seasoned. The membrane wasn't removed completely either. Surely it can be better, right?

It's been a month since I had dinner here, but I really had to leave a note. The typical German dish I ate was very good, the decor is very pleasant, but what I highlight most is the friendliness of the owner, with his strong Italian accent, who served my group with exceptional kindness. Ten of us came from Portugal for four days, and this was by far the place where we received the best service. Congratulations.

I went there with my friends last Saturday for Christmas dinner. The staff was very friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed and disorganized with the number of guests (all tables were full). Of our six main courses, only one was good; the others were just adequate. The price-performance ratio was unfortunately not right (at least for our group)! The noise level was relatively high.

An appetizer platter for €15 consisted of five salad leaves from a mixed salad bag, two cherry tomatoes, two pieces of grilled bell pepper, and a few slices of eggplant... oh, and I forgot the two (TWO) mushrooms. We searched in vain for the Italian specialties listed on the menu, nor for any dressing for the salad leaves. For that price, it was an absolute rip-off. The "pork skewers" turned out to be one skewer with three tiny pieces, and the side salad consisted of three arugula leaves. The supposedly well-seasoned potato and spinach was completely devoid of any seasoning, and the salad, of course, had no dressing whatsoever. Overall impression: Unfortunately, not good. The food was overpriced and uninspired; only the service staff stood out positively.

Original Review: Let's call it 3.5 stars. I'd describe the place as "a slightly better version of the Extrablatt." The food is okay, but totally average and nothing special. During happy hour, however, the prices are good. You shouldn't have to pay much more than that, though.

The atmosphere is great, the decor makes you feel comfortable, and the staff are simply wonderful. The food is superb; I love going there for a delicious meal. It's truly the best restaurant in Duisburg.

I went out for a steak last night, and I have to say it was the worst steak I've ever eaten. It was cooked well, but the quality and taste were absolutely disastrous. I wouldn't recommend ordering meat there if taste is important to you.

The service was a complete disaster. We waited over an hour for the main course. The appetizer was served in a somewhat acceptable manner. Then, food was brought to our table that wasn't even meant for us. The head waiter then came, gave the children lollipops, and asked if we were satisfied with the food. We told him we hadn't received anything except the appetizer. The food finally arrived over an hour after we ordered. Later, a waitress came and apologized for her mistake and offered us a complimentary shot as compensation, which we didn't receive. No one enjoyed the meal. I can only comment on my own experience. The menu stated "Crispy Pork Knuckle with Mashed Potatoes and Sauerkraut." Unfortunately, the pork knuckle was anything but crispy; it was just a thin, mushy skin, and the mashed potatoes were from a packet. I will never set foot in this restaurant again; that was my first and last time there.

The restaurant is nice, cozy, and the staff is wonderful. The food is a masterpiece, very tasty. My only request to the staff is to please keep the tables clean. Don't wave a wet rag in front of customers and leave us sitting at a wet table. And clear away dirty dishes on time. Don't make people sit in all this. We come here to relax.

My first visit to this establishment, and it definitely won't be my last! The food was divine. A heavenly experience. The service was like that of a 3-star Michelin restaurant (which, in my opinion, this restaurant absolutely deserves). The ambiance could have come straight out of a painting; the Palace of Versailles is nothing compared to it! I'll gladly return!

This restaurant was recommended to me, and I was very disappointed! Initially, we asked if it was possible to get smaller portions because my partner had had gastric surgery. The first waitress said there shouldn't be any problems, then "apparently" her service manager came and said, "That's not possible! We're not going to halve the prices! You can order half a portion and still have to pay full price!" No matter, we were hungry, and according to the recommendation, it was supposed to taste good. So when the food finally arrived, the chef had apparently forgotten to buy seasonings. It had little to no seasoning. The fries were noticeably seasoned. All in all, I was disappointed. Not a second time!!!
