Paprica in Duisburg

Definitely recommend this place. Delicious food and great service, we had a great time during our diner at Paprica. The food is fantastic and quick we got ours within 15 minutes after being seated and was well seasoned, tastefull and definitely enough. The staff was professional, kind, quick and efficient. The staff also made sure that everyone could eat in peace. Some lesser lifeforms at the table behind us decided it was a good idea to watch instagram at max volume and make calls on speaker phone the staff noticed and spoke to them in an orderly fashion and asked not to do so in a restaurant. And this made our stay for dinner even better. Thanks great staff of paprica.

I was not happy with my order. The tortellini didn't taste good at all and the mushroom pizza was very, very ordinary. But the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.

Visited this location for the first time and was immediately pleasantly surprised, delicious and good food at a really fair price 👌👍🤤. All in a nice atmosphere, with friendly and attentive service. We look forward to another visit.

I recently visited the Restaurant Paprica and loved it! I ordered the Mozzarella Pizza and Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, and both dishes were outstanding. The pizza was perfectly baked, with a crispy base and a generous layer of fresh, melt-in-your-mouth mozzarella. The tomato sauce was rich and flavorful, balancing the flavors beautifully. The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was also a highlight – simple but incredibly tasty, with the perfect mix of garlic, olive oil and a hint of chilli. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients were used, giving the dish a fresh, authentic touch that is reminiscent of Italy. The ambience at Paprica is equally inviting and contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. It is cozy and tastefully decorated, perfect for a relaxed meal. The prices are surprisingly affordable, especially considering the quality of the food. Here you can get real Italian cuisine without breaking the bank. The staff was friendly and attentive and made sure everything was right. All in all, Paprica is a must try for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommended!

Went to the restaurant last night around 7:30 p.m. Great atmosphere and prices are very acceptable. Ordered two pizzas, they were delicious. Very nice staff. When it comes to drinks, they have a lot to choose from.

Staff incompetent, inattentive, unfriendly. Menu only upon request. Burger burnt, but gave a new one (it was also delicious).

It was actually very good. The service was nice and understanding. The food was very tasty. The only drawback was that we had a couple sitting at the next table who were loudly using their cell phones, which was very disturbing. That was probably normal for her. So we told the waitress that we wanted to change our seats, which wasn't a problem and we were still able to enjoy our food.

We stopped here after shopping. Were welcomed very friendly and shown to the table. Two pizzas two drinks under €25. So great value for money. The taste is delicious from the crispy dough to the topping. We'll be back.

Totally annoying service, completely hectic, immediately asks what you want to eat or drink, even though you haven't even looked at the menu yet. When they don't feel like it anymore, they close the place by saying, "Are you paying together?" and then have the seat cushion given to you. Kind of funny. But the food was delicious.

Every year when we go to essen spiel we stay in duisburg and go to this restaurant. Family friendly and great food.

At this point a lance has to be broken for this store. We were in Duisburg for the first time and came across this restaurant. There are a few places to eat on Königsstrasse, but we won't be able to do that anymore - if we are there, we will eat at "Paprika"! 🙌 The food was simply MEGA, the location is really beautifully decorated and the STAFF - I've rarely seen a staff that was so attentive! As soon as we had anything close to a wish in our minds, it was read from our lips! Our table was kept in view by all employees, we were asked how we were and we were properly “taken care of”. I watched the team eat as I was so fascinated by how well organized everything was - it was breathtaking. 👌 Otherwise, the food was reasonably priced and the drinks weren't overpriced either. As I said, the employees were great and the management was also very accommodating. The five stars are more than deserved - thank you for this culinary delight. 🥰 PS: Photos will follow next time you stay.

Simply the best shop in Duisburg

When it comes to peppers, everything just fits together. Attentive service, delicious food at moderate prices, and a cozy atmosphere. I or we go there more often. All of the friends and colleagues I was there with were very enthusiastic. I hope this restaurant will be around longer. Definitely better than Maredo before.

At lunchtime we had 20 different dishes at the same time. Everything was ordered in advance, but that was quite an achievement! 🥳Thank you and many satisfied customers. Enjoy your meal.

Had dinner there with a few people and were unfortunately disappointed. The starter came with the main course and was clearly not as it was on the menu, one of the dishes was burnt and when we told the waitress about it, she simply reacted to it in an unconfident manner. In the end there wasn't even an apology, for the first and last time for us.

Food and drinks are good but the service got worse with each visit. So many service staff, a manageable number of customers and you are literally ignored. We won't be coming back again. Bad service, no service orientation!

Very friendly service with good food at a fair price

That's not true, I enjoyed drinking a beer there and then I wanted to use the toilet, but I was charged almost €5 just for being allowed to use the local toilets. Of course there was just a concert and I sat there and ordered something because I now I was rude and asked to use the local toilets without ordering anything but the staff still came to me in a very very rude manner and demanded that I pay five euros to use the toilets.

The service was very nice and attentive, the restaurant also makes a nice impression from the inside. So much for the good. Unfortunately, points are deducted for the most important thing - namely the food. Maybe we were just unlucky that day or with the selection. The fact that the food was on the table after five minutes made us suspicious, but that also explains the quality. My husband's burger had one of the cheapest burger patties you can imagine. It's okay that not everything is always homemade, but even with convenience you can pay some attention to the quality. My Wiener-style schnitzel was the cheapest schnitzel I've ever eaten (partially). Even the Billo schnitzels from Netto taste higher quality. The item had a maximum of 50 percent meat, the rest was fillers and endless spices. I could only eat half of it because it disgusted me so much. The fries were delicious. The salad was bland and consisted mostly of stalk pieces and mysterious dressing. Then asking for almost 15 euros for that was tough. Unfortunately, I'm afraid we probably won't be back.

Der Laden sieht schön aus, sehr tolles Ambiente. Die Schnitzel sind eine Katastrophe. 5 Minuten nach der Bestellung kamen 2 Schnitzel mit Champignonrahmsoße. Schnitzel ist Formfleisch in der Fritteuse gemacht, die Soße war eine fertige aus der Tüte, auf der sich schon Haut durch zu langes stehen gebildet hat. Da merkt man, das ist keine ehrliche Gastronomie mehr, das ist Abzocke. Jede Pommesbude am Bahnhof ist besser. Der Laden sieht uns nicht wieder.

Today I give this restaurant 1 star!!!!! I ordered spinach pizza, what do I get? Brokoli pizza!😁 what's not to understand? Spinach/broccoli both green yes!! To be honest I waited 1 hour for my pizza!! First and last time my visit was there!! I paid 20€ for water//pizza!! What a shame!! and the pizza base wasn't crispy!! I don't know how to make pizza like that!!! I can make pizza better!!!

Service was top. Schnitzel and the sauce were really not good. Schnitzel tasted like it had just been warmed up briefly in the deep fryer. Every discount sauce tastes better.

Disastrous food!!! Schnitzel frozen goods with a bad aftertaste (freezer burn) tasted old! The boss denied that it was frozen goods and wanted to make up for us with dessert! I politely declined! Never again!!!! The ambience is taken over from its predecessor, there was Maredo before!

The pizza is good, the crust is nice and crispy and the price is okay. A bottle of water, 0.75 liters, is a bit expensive at just under 9 euros. We sat outside, where there is of course constant foot traffic on the sidewalk between the rows of tables. Towards the other side of the street there is still a glass partition. The ambience has something of a fast food restaurant. Plastic chairs.

Breaded chicken goes for wiener schnitzel?

We were served our food (burgers and schnitzel) cold, which we only noticed after we ate it. When we pointed it out they said they were sorry and took it back. We assumed we would get a new one, but no our FOOD was simply warmed up in the microwave. This doesn't work at all. If you want to have a surprise meal there, you're in good hands there. We will never eat there again.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Das Personal total inkompetent und lässt einen so lange warten.. dann war das schnitzel wie gummi total ungenießbar, und ich hatte ein Haar im essen. 1/10 und die 1 nur weil der Laden ansich schön aussieht, aber geschmacklich und vom Service eine Katastrophe.

Service is always nice and quick. The restaurant is large and clear, but when it is full it can be loud and uncomfortable. Toilets in the basement, up a narrow staircase, are not suitable for the disabled.

A bit mixed there... I'm only reviewing the store and the service since I only had something to drink. The service is really nice - but not on the fly... One hand doesn't know what the other is doing - 6 service staff were outside so as not to serve so many tables. A different waiter every time. But one doesn't know what the other is doing. There were things on my bill that I didn't order. When I went to the toilet, my - almost full - drink was cleared away, even though I said so... I got a small beer for free - even though my drink was a large beer. All in all - the service really needs to be trained and there should be a small concept...

Scammers!!!... we wanted to pay for 2 cappuccinos, the man comes and says yes, if you pay by card, it costs 10 euros and cash costs 7 euros... just wanted to add 3 euros on top... crazy!!

We have been guests of this restaurant since it opened. We were happy for a long time but recently we noticed that the food there was getting worse and the portions were getting smaller and smaller. This time we ordered a schnitzel and returned it because it tasted subterranean and was the cheapest frozen piece of “schnitzel” we have ever tried. The waiter wanted to know what the reason was and we told him that the schnitzel didn't taste good. We just wanted to pay and leave but the waiter became aggressive and started yelling at us because we didn't believe him that the schnitzel was freshly made. the boss came and told us that the “poor” waiter had private problems and was therefore aggressive. Never again!

Food was very good. My daughter received the wrong dish, this was quickly corrected. At some point a Tequila Sunrise came to our table and we explained that we hadn't ordered it. A few times different waiters came and wanted to give us this drink. We kept explaining nicely that we hadn't ordered it. At the end the bill came. I almost paid over 70 euros for 3 lunch dishes and 3 drinks without thinking. My daughter pointed out to me that the dish that came out wrong and the tequila were both on our bill. I found this to be a bit cheeky, as there was no real apology and the constant arrival with the drink during the meal was unpleasant. Otherwise, the service was very attentive and concerned about our well-being, which is why we only deducted one star from the service. Ambiance is ok. Pizza & Pasta are highly recommended 😉
