Brauhaus Mattlerhof - A Mixed Impression Our visit to Brauhaus Mattlerhof today left a mixed impression. The reception and service were consistently very friendly. The waitresses gave us ample time to study the menu and answered questions promptly and courteously. Unfortunately, the culinary offerings were less convincing. We noticed that the schnitzels come from the deep fryer and the cakes on offer aren't baked in-house. We opted for the currywurst with fries for €9, which turned out to be a disappointment. The sausage was tasteless, and the curry sauce didn't impress us either. Another critical point concerns the presence of animals. Anyone who has a problem with dogs in a restaurant should avoid the Mattlerhof. The resident dog lay down under our table and stayed there. The wait staff joked about this ("He doesn't bite; he already ate a guest this morning"). Personally, I believe that animals, especially strangers and begging animals, have no place in a restaurant, and certainly not under my table. In summary, the friendly service was a positive, but the value for money was not up to scratch in our opinion due to the disappointing quality of the food and the handling of the animal presence.

We received a very warm welcome at the brewery, and the service was truly excellent, very attentive, and friendly. The menu selection is quite limited, but perfectly adequate, and offers a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. Unfortunately, the food wasn't tasty at all. The schnitzel was dry and didn't taste freshly prepared; the vegetables were cooked/fried much too softly and weren't al dente at all. The fries, unfortunately, weren't recommended either. It's a real shame. Such great service and a pleasant ambiance... But the food absolutely didn't impress us.

It's a good place, but I was sad to hear that it's not a real party place. It's more of a place for weddings and company parties. Sometimes a place like this could hold harder techno parties!

Took a short bike ride to the Mattlerhof. Enjoyed a drink and a meal in the courtyard. Just unwind. The surrounding area offers so much more for young and old.

For wheelchair users: Entrance possible, from the garden without steps. No accessible restroom. For everyone: Very good! Good food. Friendly service. We'd be happy to go again.

We were at the Mattlerhof Brewery with a large group last week, and everything was wonderful. Everything was made with love, from the food to the decor. Thank you so much 😍

I was there to eat schnitzel was extremely dry, fries salt burned my gums and the employee Dennis is very unfriendly and not good in customer contact and he asks customers for tips which I think is not acceptable at all

One star is still too many. Compared to the "Brauhaus," Burger King is a 5-star restaurant.

I recently attended a wedding at the Mattlerhof. All I can say is that the staff was incredibly dedicated and friendly. Great location, delicious food, and attentive employees. I would come back anytime. Keep up the good work, and thank you again! :-)

Today we celebrated my daughter's confirmation with seventeen people. I was very satisfied with the nice service and the quiet ambience. The guests also liked the food. Some portions perhaps could have been more generous. Thank you for the lovely stay.

We went there for dinner with the whole family today. Unfortunately very disappointing. None of us were happy with our food. Schnitzels were tough like rubber. With the Schnitzel Jägermann, 3 campiongs in the sauce. Price performance poor 22.90 euros for a schnitzel with a mini portion of fries. Unfortunately, some of us didn't take place. Menu has become very thin. There used to be more on the plate and the price performance was also better. Plus point the service was great

Had some fries there today. For 7 euros a tiny portion with a small bag of mayo included. Also a disappointment in terms of taste. Really not recommended.

Today we stopped at the brewery for lunch while passing through. The map is very clear. We chose bratwursts and chicken skewers. There were also fried potatoes and incredibly good fries. The food was good, nothing to complain about. Particularly noteworthy is the above-average friendly service, which always served quickly. Despite the very limited selection, this is a trattoria that is recommended.

Were just there for dinner. Prices like in a star restaurant but that's it. The entire meal tasted like fish (from a deep fryer)... Everything was intentional but unfortunately not possible. Only the schnapps at the end is recommended from a distillery on the Lower Rhine

We were there for the wedding fair. Very friendly advice and beautifully decorated. Something for everyone.

Successful Christmas dinner (buffet). Large selection, drinks at the table (incl.). Food overall very tasty. Appetizers, etc. Homemade goulash soup (great!). Main courses with delicious side dishes (my favorite was the market vegetables). Why not full marks here? The meat (goose leg, turkey steak, pork fillet) was extremely dry, but tasted ok.

Went to the Mattlerhof again today after a long time. Map heavily thinned out. No special selection, but… “Prices like in the pharmacy”. A currywurst (bratwurst with very little sauce) and a mini portion of fries in a mini basket for 9.50! another portion of fries with 20 g packet of mayo for 6.90!!! a Cola Zero with ice cubes!! which tasted totally stale. The fries were probably made with fresh potato skins, but were soggy on the inside. We were surprised at how empty it was, despite the St. Martin's Market. Now we are no longer surprised. You won't see us there anymore. The service was ok.

Very little choice of food, but quite good. A bit overpriced. Nice service staff. At least tries hard and understands fun. Unfortunately, the ambience isn't that great either.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at the Mattlerhof last Saturday and had our free wedding ceremony in the pavilion. Communication with the team was perfect, short-term adjustments were accepted without any problems and implemented to our complete satisfaction. The process was smooth and there were no glitches. Big praise for the decoration in the Tenne room and how everything around it was designed. We can really only recommend it.

Agreements were not kept. The food, I say delicious, is different. It's a shame about this beautiful locality in a great location. I don't want to say any more. Once and never again.

Was on September 7th. there.At a meeting of former colleagues from St.Barbara Hospital.approx.180 people. A very successful event that took a lot of organization, time and effort. Unfortunately the Mattlerhof was not what was expected. Location is great, service ok, unfortunately food wasn't really good. Meat tough, croquettes almost raw, vegetables hard and watery. There don't seem to be any spices in the kitchen either. The drinks flat included soft drinks and König pils. However, non-alcoholic Köpi was charged at €4!? We still had a nice day, but Mattlerhof should think about it! Not recommended!

We had a meeting with over 185 people. The food was very bad. The restaurant is not recommended

My husband and I celebrated our wedding there last week and we were more than satisfied! We received great advice in advance and the further planning was also very uncomplicated and everything went smoothly. Our questions were always answered immediately via WhatsApp. The location is a dream and was perfect for us. The service was also just great! What was also crucial for us was that everything was included - from decorations, bridal bouquets and cakes to drink menus and seating plans, etc.

Some of the food was cold and the beef was tough. The asparagus was overcooked. The service was great. But the table decorations didn't work at all. Plastic flowers and the LED candles looked yellowed and like they came from a ghost train. The tables were so full that no food could fit on them. The service had great difficulty getting to the tables. All in all, not recommended for celebrations. Unless you like an average restaurant.

Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's confirmation at the brewery. There were thirty of us in total. I have only received positive feedback. The room was lovingly decorated with the Disney Frozen motif. The buffet was very tasty. Many thanks to the whole team. We would like to celebrate there more often. Kind regards, the Hermes family

Unfortunately the menu has been greatly reduced. The dishes are simple and expensive. The once famous Christmas buffet is no longer recommended (only two main dishes: goose leg and pork goulash). For vegetarians, not a main course, only side dishes, but they were still charged €45. Nobody in our family was enthusiastic, we definitely won't be coming back. But service is always friendly.

A very great house with tradition and lots of nice people and even better ideas 💡, see for yourself. Also take time for a walk

Very nice location, very nice service, very tasty food, what more could you want? And how nice is it to have a beer garden in summer? We will be back! :)

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the great support throughout the entire time and right down to the tiniest detail - we had an unforgettably beautiful wedding celebration in the Mattlerhof brewery hall. Thank you for EVERYTHING, it was just PERFECT.

The service is very warm and nice and makes an effort. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. There is also something for vegans. The prices are OK. I can only recommend it and will eat there more often in the future. The location is also very nice and there is plenty of parking space.

Update: Leider nur noch außer Hausverkauf im Biergarten, die Speisekarte gleicht einem Imbissbetrieb. Schade wir haben uns immer sehr wohlgefühlt bei gutem Essen und freundlicher Bedienung. Wir waren als Teil einer Hochzeitsgesellschaft zu Gast im Mattlerhof. Ambiente war sehr schön, das Buffet war sehr gut und das Essen war sehr lecker. Das für r unser leibliches Wohl verantwortliche Personal war echt klasse, höflich und kompetent. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. An dieser Stelle ein großes Dankeschön an Sascha, dass du uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen hast. Das ist noch echter Service bei man gerne wieder kommt.

Alle Nudelgerichte kann ich weiterempfehlen, auch die Schnitzel waren lecker. Preise sind in Ordnung. Schön ist, dass der Ort direkt im Matlerbusch gelegen ist und man schön spazieren gehen kann. Für Eltern mit Kindern ist ein großer Spielplatz in der Nähe. Außerdem gibt es in der Nähe eine angenehme Therme.

Sehr schöne Anlage, für jede Feier gerüstet, essen top und reichhaltig, auch Spielplatz und Tiere vorhanden, einfach mal selber anschauen, da gibt es so vieles zu sehen

Wir waren gestern dort. Was soll ich sagen. Wir wurden schon stutzig das der Biergarten sehr leer war. Wir bestellten trotzdem zwei Radler, ein Wasser und zwei Mal Pommes mit Currywurst. Alles in allem satte 30 Euro. Im Anschluss musste mein Sohn auf die Toilette. Als zahlender Kunde wurde ich dann von der Besitzerin angeranzt, dass wir gefälligst die öffentlichen Toiletten benutzen. Die Toiletten im Innenbereich sind nur für Hochzeitsgäste. Die öffentlichen Toiletten sind verdreckt und siffig. Wir werden nicht mehr wieder kommen.

Völlige Katastrophe. Zwei Bier, ein Wasser und zwei Mal CPM = satte 30 Euro. Als zahlender Kunde durften wir nur die öffentliche Toilette nutzen. Der Schuppen lebt nur noch von Hochzeiten. Besitzerin sehr unfreundlich. Personal was einfache Rechenarten nicht umsetzen kann, trotz elektronischer Kasse. Werde nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Waren zum krimidinner hier, das war schon gut. Die Mitarbeiter vom Mattlerhof ganz zuvorkommend, obwohl ja alles schnell gehen musste. Das Essen war sehr gut. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!!!!
