Panthera Rodizio in Hamburg

I've been here 6 times so far. Twice I used a meal plan – a good decision. But the all-you-can-eat deal... really a bad idea.

I went twice! I loved it!! The friendliness, politeness, welcoming atmosphere, and simplicity of service make everything wonderful! The price is well worth it for the variety and the amazing taste with a Brazilian flavor! I highly recommend it!

A completely new way to eat. Absolutely perfect in terms of taste.

The food is really not good…grilled beef tastes like rubber, lamb with strong bad smell (can’t tolerate the smell)…also vegetables are salty. Not many choices in both meat and salad bar. I’ve been to several Brazilian Rodizio in other countries like USA, not even close to anyone I’ve experienced before. Also service was not that friendly, we waited for 30 mins to get the first meat served and we got rubber meat… you can see 5-star reviews for food quality from long time ago (at least 1 year ago), however, reviews from months ago started to complain about it, I guess something had been changed.

Appetizer buffet is good, that s easy to achieve Meat rodizio not worth, meat itself is good but they dont bring much, we had to request twice and for every round of meat they have 4-5 rounds of vegetables. Raise the prices, much better than stingy experience Dessert buffet is awful, powder puddings and similar but super low quality. Supermarket powder desserts are far better. No need to make a buffet with everything bad, would uave been better 2-4 cakes but real good quality or not even in buffet mode. All in all the feeling is if cheap restaurant, you pay what you get , not a real deal Service is good, if that s the reason to chose a restaurant

We had our Christmas party here at Rodizio on December 19th, and it was delicious as always. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Kiko and Rafa served us. Thank you! We'll definitely be back.

I think the food is great! 🤩 It's so good to go there. It's really worth coming! (But... 🤥 you're better off coming on an empty stomach and maybe not eating all day.) It's fun to chat and joke around with the staff. 👏

The food was very good. There were just too many people. It only became cozy once the place emptied out.

It's simply not worth the money! So find another place. Bad service. It took 40 min. before we got fries and 55 min before the first meat came. The restaurant was 1/2 full. The meat was not very appealing, in fact the cheapest of the cheapest meat you can buy in Aldi. So with all due respect … find another place, life is too short for bad food. Vh Lars

We've been coming here at least once a year for several years now. All the guys are super nice, friendly, and funny. The gentleman who was in charge of our table, taking orders, etc., seemed to be having a bad day. He was neither friendly nor attentive to us. Even with a €17 tip, he didn't smile or say thank you. Otherwise, the food was great again, and so was the atmosphere. But where are the musicians and dancers? Merry Christmas to the whole team. See you next time...

I have never experienced such a bad rodizio. We were a group of almost 20 people spread across two large tables. The second table was repeatedly skipped. Despite our repeated complaints, we were simply told that the skewers needed to be crisped up again. However, after only 3-4 minutes, the same employee who had been at our first table walked over to a neighboring table with the same skewer. The drink service was also very poor: ordered drinks were completely forgotten, and we waited up to 20 minutes for a beer. Overall, the service was very disappointing and I would not recommend it.

We were there for the Christmas party; despite the group size, the service was very attentive, especially Stefden and Hugo.

The service, with Hugo as our contact person, was excellent. The appetizer buffet was delicious, but the main course was a different story! We weren't even offered some of the dishes. Waiters with the meat skewers often walked right past our table to go to other guests. We waited an hour for the pineapple on a skewer, despite asking for it. Suggestion for improvement! In Munich, they have a green/red card placed on the table. If you put the green side up, it indicates that you'd like something else. So there's still plenty of room for improvement, except for the service! Hugo was a very, very friendly employee! Perhaps we had a poorly located table? In conclusion: Service was great, but the food selection was inadequate compared to Munich and definitely needs improvement.

Both were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and courteous. They checked on us regularly and very discreetly to see if we needed anything and if everything was to our satisfaction. We always felt perfectly cared for, without it seeming forced or rushed. The excellent wine selection deserves special mention. Hugo and Rafa were extremely knowledgeable, listened to our preferences, and their recommendations were spot on. The wine pairing significantly enhanced our evening. You can immediately tell that they work with professionalism, passion, and genuine hospitality. They didn't just serve us; they actively enhanced our evening – the kind of service you expect as a guest and, sadly, is becoming increasingly rare. For us, it was practically one-on-one support at the highest level. We were completely satisfied and thoroughly impressed by Hugo and Rafa. A huge compliment to both of them – such service is truly remarkable and definitely deserves recognition.

My server was Cesar. He was very professional made sure we enjoyed our meal. I would return to restaurant in the near future with friends and recommend to all that like good food with excellent service. We went there because it was recommended to us. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option and were disappointed! The salad bar is great, and the service is excellent. But the main course was awful! Some of the meat smelled unpleasant and didn't taste good either. You only ever get small pieces on your plate, and rice without sauce... at the very end, after what felt like eight rounds of cooking, the meat was finally done, and we were offered fries... Hmm, well, they should organize things a bit better. The tables are so close together! I'm a bit disappointed.

Yesterday, on the occasion of my birthday, we were guests there for the first time. Three hours beforehand, we had requested a table by email and immediately mentioned that I need to eat gluten-free. Upon arrival, I was asked about it again at reception. Rita also double-checked at our table and repeatedly checked with the kitchen. It turned out to be a wonderful evening, as I was able to eat and enjoy almost everything except for a few items. Rafael was also very accommodating and even shared the recipe for the Brazilian cheese rolls with me. A fantastic restaurant, everything fresh and delicious, great service, great food. If we are ever in Hamburg again, we will gladly come back. Thank you very much!

Great Brazilian restaurant, excellent food. The advantage of the meat skewers served directly at the table is that you can try a little of everything. Unfortunately, this also means you end up eating way too much, but it was simply too delicious. Highly recommended if you love lots of meat.

The food was good, however, it took 30 minutes to get the main course, "Radizio"; it was better two years ago. Also, some of the waiters were completely disoriented and couldn't find the tables when you ordered drinks.

Except for one waiter, everyone was friendly. But that one was listless and unfriendly, both in German and Portuguese. The food was good, but unfortunately, that was about it. When I ordered more, I had to ask four times before it arrived. Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't go back.

I got a recommendation from a friend. Since I was planning to visit my son in Hamburg over the weekend, I reserved two tables. The staff is very, very friendly. The food is fantastic. The staff constantly brings the different meats, side dishes (rice, potatoes, fries, and hash browns), and vegetables to the table. Everything is perfectly balanced in terms of flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a very good restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Panthera RODIZO, located at Ditmar-Koel-Str. 3, 20459 Hamburg, is a Brazilian restaurant that is truly one of a kind. Right on Hamburg's harbor, this elegant and harmonious restaurant exudes southern flair. Not only is the interior, with its classic modern style, a feast for the eyes, but the presentation and arrangements, complete with background music (see my photos), combine to create an outstanding specialty restaurant. The variety of dishes prepared for all ages, including the ever-present fruity meat skewers served at the tables, is superb. From aperitifs and appetizers to meat dishes and side dishes, and a dessert buffet, as well as a wide selection for vegetarians, everything is offered here. Therefore, I can only give it 5 stars.

Anyone looking to spend a few delicious hours will be in excellent hands at Panthera Rodizio. The team is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the buffet is highly recommended. A special thank you to Cesar and Miguel. We'll definitely be back! ☺️

From start to finish, simply an unforgettable experience. We've been to several rodizio restaurants in Germany, but this one in Hamburg far surpassed them all.

The salad bar was extremely mediocre (to put it kindly) and the main dishes were รถเกลือคว่ำ Dessert was 10/10. Would actually come back just for the jelly and chocolate mousse.

Food that was complained about was promptly replaced without any fuss.

There were 10 of us, and everyone was absolutely thrilled. We were blown away by the food and the atmosphere. Afterwards, we stayed in the cocktail bar until 2 a.m. and were equally delighted. I've already reserved another table.

Rigo was our waiter and he was awesome! He made sure we liked the food, checked on us often, and even suggested trying dessert after the refill. If I come back to Panthera, it’ll be for both the good food and the great service.

The ambiance is warm and pleasant, and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The meat brought by the waiters is perfectly cooked and fresh, and the selection of salads and side dishes is fantastic. I especially liked the atmosphere – lively, yet intimate, perfect for a dinner with friends. Definitely a place I would return to.

What an experience! We hadn't made a reservation and asked on-site, and were given a table for the following evening. It was well worth the wait. The team was very friendly, always attentive, and even had a bit of fun. The food was excellent, plentiful, and delicious. And there was even a show included! We will definitely be back and highly recommend Rodrizio!

I've been there three times, and overall, I find it excellent value for money. Sometimes the meat was too salty, sometimes it was delicious. I also loved the staff's energy. The buffet was also very adequate. Thank you for this sincere service.

Waiters were infrequent, and there was little meat available that wasn't pork. Chicken and round meat were almost nonexistent. Fish and hot side dishes were massively oversalted! Drink orders were sometimes forgotten. The idea was good. The execution was a disaster! Not recommended! A pure tourist trap! For that money, go somewhere else or cook for yourself.

The food is great. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very noisy. Reservations are absolutely necessary and often need to be made several weeks in advance.

Always a great experience! Friendly staff, good food, and simply a lovely atmosphere. Today there was even live music and dancers 🙏

We had our Christmas party there, and unfortunately, it was a complete mess. We had to wait in line for 25 minutes at the appetizer buffet. Then it took another 30 minutes before the meat arrived. It was all cramped and noisy. We had to leave the restaurant at 8 p.m. because the next guests were arriving. The waiters and waitresses tried their best, but I would never go there again during the Christmas season.

Rodizio servers are supposed to distribute the crust everywhere; with us, all the skewers come out of the fire first, always. You can't eat that much oversalted crust; crust is crust. And too much salt!! Massively oversalted, even the chicken, no matter which kind. Even the fries, oversalted, mushrooms. I'm not imagining things; there was too much salt, then the meat wasn't flavorful anymore. There probably isn't that much salt inside, but eating only the outside results in excess salt. Less salt, please. You can add salt yourself; not everyone wants it like that.

The food is absolutely delicious and the ambiance is truly beautiful. We've been here at least eight times now and always love coming back. We do have one small suggestion, though: We would appreciate it if the side dishes were served a bit more frequently. Currently, there are about three meat courses before a side dish arrives. If the side dish isn't to your liking, you have to wait quite a while for the next one. Perhaps the order could be made a little more balanced. Otherwise, we're very satisfied, as always!

Rodizio for meat lovers, just as you'd imagine it. Despite its size, the service was quick, with plenty of side dishes and, of course, the skewers. Good service, pleasant atmosphere. Reservations are highly recommended.

As repeat visitors, we were more than dissatisfied this time. We go there every year as a group. This time, rice and black beans arrived first, and then nothing for a while... After we asked when we'd get some meat, we were served sausage twice in a row. No chicken; we had to ask for everything repeatedly. Drink orders only arrived after we asked twice. We had barely started eating when we were offered pineapple and bananas. We pointed out that we'd like some side dishes. We've never experienced Panthera so badly, disorganized, and chaotic.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our 18th birthday celebration there. A table was reserved for five people, but when six of us spontaneously showed up, we were turned away at the door as if they couldn't possibly add a chair to the table. The reservation had been specifically mentioned as being for the 18th birthday party. I can't comment on the food or the atmosphere.

Years ago I was there... shaken up... a bachelor party. Years later I went back... the bachelor party ended in suicide. I buried him... I'm still here. I was there when he voluntarily gave his life into the hands of others. He lost... I went there... just to see one last time the path he chose. Thank you. You were wonderful. It was very beautiful... I recommend going there. Please keep it up. No one can do anything about an individual's fate who never had the power to change anything. But thank you for this moment... and for the fact that nothing has changed since then. Just thank you... at least I could go back once. You are simply the best.

We spontaneously got a table for two. The meat was good, but very salty, not really suitable for vegetarians. The side dishes arrive one after the other, so you can only eat one component at a time. The appetizer buffet is quite okay. Overall, we probably wouldn't come back.

I reserved a table two months ago. Yesterday, they told me there was no reservation. I asked them to check again, as I had definitely made the reservation via email. After a short while, the man at reception told me again that he had never heard my name before and that I was definitely not on the list! Even the doorman was giving me a dirty look. Luckily, I still had the confirmation email! With that, I finally got in, but apart from the salad bar, there was nothing to eat. It's fascinating how often a waiter can walk right past you and completely ignore you. After complaining, we actually did get something, but unfortunately, our time was almost up. So much for a relaxing birthday dinner.

Sorry, but it wasn't as great as it used to be. Prime time – Saturday night, late November. Reserved three months in advance for "only" six people. The table was absolutely terrible, right by the entrance and exit of the (open) kitchen. Chaos, unpleasant smells. But okay, I guess these things happen, tough luck. The staff were forcedly (un)friendly. Several meat skewers never arrived. Several side dishes were missing altogether. Other side dishes, however, arrived two or three times over. I can only recommend quality over quantity – don't accept more guests than you can handle. Since the food that did arrive was actually quite good, I'm giving it a somewhat decent rating. Otherwise, it was a real disappointment.

If you're looking for a mass-market experience in a train station-like atmosphere, accompanied by loud samba drumming and mediocre food, then this is the place for you. I can't understand where all these good reviews come from. Even with less demanding expectations, you could never give this place 5 stars.
