Panthera Rodizio in Hamburg

The food was good, but the typical ambience with music, etc. was missing. In addition, at the beginning there were a lot of food offers at once and then suddenly nothing at all. Side dishes like rice and fries only came once.

My husband and I loved the restaurant, excellent from the food, service and atmosphere. We have never had such good attention, we really felt like family. Both the boss and all the waiters, cutters, etc., especially the waiter Yerison, have made us feel at home. I highly recommend it. We will definitely return.

Brazilian style churashcaria. Very big place with tens of tables inside what makes it not a quiet place for chatting. After seated, we had to wait quite a while until they started serving the meat. I'm not sure about the drill, but as we came hungry, it was rather frustrating. Once they started to serve, things changed. Most of the meat cuts were very tender and perfectly made. Salad bar is nice with a small selection of seafood and overall not rich as expected from such restaurants. Bottom line, good value for money and recommended.

An absolute highlight! Not only was the food incredibly delicious, but the entire experience was unique. Juicy, perfectly grilled meat, delicious side dishes and a rousing show - simply fantastic! The staff was super friendly, entertaining and created a great atmosphere. Here you don't just get a meal, but a real Brazilian experience. Absolutely recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Absolute MUST…but not for veggies

Food very good. Unfortunately, the staff is also very overworked, so waiting times must be expected during the meal.

You simply have to experience it! Were there for the second time and it was great again! The service was super relaxed despite the stress!

If you choose “all you can eat” there is plenty of meat, everything very well prepared and tasty. The service is very good.

There were four of us there at the weekend, first of all I have to say the reservation system is very complicated and old-fashioned with requests and emails (with luck the time is right or you get alternatives) so... but it was done 2 hours earlier as planned. We got a nice table in the store, ordered drinks and picked up something from the starter buffet. There you can find salad, cheese chili nuggets, meat dumplings, large shrimps and two other things as well as a dessert corner. So now... after we were done with it it took about 15 minutes until a skewer came out... the meat itself is very good, but unfortunately the lamb tasted musty, the fries and mushrooms are extremely salty! Otherwise there was rice, breaded banana, peppers, beans with bacon, broccoli, etc. Oh yes and black beans. My cousin and I too and we both had terrible stomach pains at night, our two friends had nothing but no beans either, coincidence? I don't know . I was in a shop like this in Jesteburg years ago and I remember it better. It's a shame, we were happy, but for me one visit is enough.

Very, very much, very much and good food

I was there on Saturday with my closest friends to celebrate my 24th birthday. I also reserved the table a week in advance because we couldn't decide where we wanted to eat. Unfortunately I have to complain from there, we were given an uncomfortable place next to the exit, and the table wobbled when we ate. We got a table for 4 so one of my most important guests had to sit outside. I also mentioned that it was my birthday and whether there would be a little surprise, unfortunately nothing came. When we had finished the appetizer, the waitresses gradually arrived with different dishes, even then some rounds were skipped and passed by bluntly and quickly. I've never experienced anything so cheeky. At 5:55 p.m. the receptionist came to us and asked if we needed anything else, of course we were full but very annoyed & disappointed. I mean paying €225 for something like that is a real shame because it wasn't worth it because after 2 hours you're basically asked out. I definitely wouldn't go there a second time! - Ilona

A quality rodizio but the most notable thing is the service. All the staff without exception were friendly, fun and very fast. An excellent experience!

I am absolutely disappointed with the store. The staff was very unfriendly in many parts. We were rudely bluffed and told to leave our jackets at the cloakroom otherwise we wouldn't be able to order. We didn't do that, we just put them all in a pile on a chair. Then it was a huge restaurant that was like an assembly line. Incredibly loud, no ambience that could be remotely Brazilian. I ate a la cart, supposedly it was supposed to be huge shrimp. Were normal shrimp. Not even hot, just lukewarm. All in all, a very disappointing restaurant visit

WOW!! An orgy of different delicious meats, cut and served at the table😋 All side dishes are also continuously served at the table 😋 There really isn't anything missing .. Ahh, it must be the pepper sauce, which we first discovered at the appetizer buffet when we were stuffed 😂 And yes, there is also a delicious appetizer buffet AND a scrumptious dessert buffet (their Tiramisu & Chocolate Mousse is sitting right in the cupboard) Mm mm mmm 👌 So all in all .. When we were there, the beef from the spit was served almost raw. That's not possible.

A restaurant that is very, very popular. No chance without a reservation. But top meat and fast service.

I found the food great and a nice atmosphere. The only thing I have to say is that there could have been better drinks service.

Quality of the food has decreased significantly compared to before. Meat was not good, rather too dry, had no luck with the skewers. Sirloin steak very tough, lamb not the best in taste. Tafelspitz was good but only the first of 3 skewers. Too much salt on the side dishes Service was good, not outstanding. Was my last visit with you.

As a 10-year-old butcher, I have to say I just felt ripped off, the beef was dry and tasteless, the lamb tasted like vinegar and how you can fry sausages dry is still a question for me to this day, very inferior meat. The staff speaks limited German/English so you can't communicate with them at all. All in all, one of the worst restaurant visits I have had so far in my career, simply not worth recommending.

If you like meat, Rodizio is the right place for you (but you can also order something else from the menu)...the starters and desserts (both buffet) are also incredibly tasty. Very large selection. After the starters, the tours begin (staff comes to the table), all very, very tasty. You can try everything, but you can also skip it and repeat the dishes and vegetables until you can't do it anymore. Then it's on to dessert...nice service. Here you get your money's worth. The reception is extremely unfriendly. As a restaurant and as an employee, you should be competent enough to deal with customers in a friendly manner, even if you are a little late. You can let that bad mood out somewhere else. Impossible, after we apologized so many times today and asked for a seat, he handled it so cheekily and with derogatory behavior. Always worth a visit to Hamburg. Great ambience, delicious food and the service is top top top. The Samba group's dancing with live music is particularly worth seeing, a must when visiting Hamburg.

Open buffet was 37 euros (17 euros for ages 12-16), coke was 3.5 euros (drinks are extra). The open buffet included a salad bar, desserts, and meat, vegetables, and rice served by constantly wandering staff. Salad bar and desserts were good. There was mutton, pork, beef and chicken meat. The meat was served unmarinated and undercooked. When I asked for it to be well cooked, they came back a little later. It was a good experience. We are satisfied.

You can have a good meal here. However, you must have an appointment beforehand. We had to wait outside for about 10 minutes. The crowds here are extreme and the restaurant is busy. Nicely equipped inside, but unfortunately it's not "eat in peace". The service is a bit stressful, which is understandable given the crowds, but otherwise some have a good sense of humor. The prices for the cocktails are still ok. The Rodizio food was extremely plentiful and delicious. Update 01/30/25: We were here with Lena and many friends. If you particularly want to switch off from everyday life, you just have to come here.

Wir waren an einem Donnerstag Abend da und hatten ein tolles Networking mit den anderen Gästen. Lena und Rüdiger haben für ein tolles Ambiente gesorgt. Das Essen war lecker wie immer. Das Fleisch besonders gut 👍🏼 Top war der maracuyá caípi!!

Es war sehr schön hier mit Lena unterhalten zu werden. Wir machen das sehr gerne wieder. Die Portugiesische Musik hat uns sehr bewegt, in all diesem schwierigen Alltag❤️

Auf Empfehlung einer Freundin haben wir das Restaurant besucht. Unser Kellner Seabra war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Der Service und das Essen ließ keine Wünsche offen. „Man kommt für die Picanha!“ Gerne wieder.

So when I was here a few years ago it was easily 6 out of 5 stars, unfortunately the meat quality has deteriorated!!!! The other dishes, especially all the vegetables and everything else, are really great... What I also missed was cassava last time, so it's a shame I would have liked to have eaten it again. I have to say the grilled peppers were probably my favorite, but there are so many different things. I hope the meat gets better again, then it's one of the best restaurants I know, easily top 3 and can easily slip into my top 1 restaurant. Otherwise everything really fits. I therefore have to deduct half a star and will change it to 5 stars on my next visit if the criticism has been implemented. top 4.5 stars

I can only recommend it. One of the best restaurants I've ever visited. Highlights in addition to the delicious food are the Cortadores with their huge meat skewers that run from table to table and always cut fresh grilled meat directly onto their plate and distribute grilled vegetables and side dishes. I'm already looking forward to the next visit

We went there on a recommendation during our Hamburg vacation as a group of four. We tried Rodizio for the first time and were thrilled. The appetizer buffet alone would have been enough. The meat was of very good quality and cooked to perfection. We liked it so much that we made reservations for the next day

The food was excellent, everything tasted delicious and the vegetables were crisp and fresh! The staff would have liked to have been able to come more often with the meat!

Too crowded, too loud, too much unrest. The skewers and side dishes were offered regularly. The good meat skewers (beef rump, leg of lamb) only came when we were almost full. First came poultry, smoked pork, pork etc. The starter buffet has a good selection. Recommendation: Do not wear good clothing and pull in your ears. The skewers come from all directions and the meat drips uncontrollably

Excellent restaurant. We went there on a Friday night at around 8pm and it was very busy. We hadn't booked but they reassured us that a table would be ready in around 10 minutes, and it was. It's a buffet with a help yourself salad bar and desserts and where they bring round the meat and sides and you have as much or as little as you like. Really good food. Lots of choice of meats. Would definitely recommend the rare beef! Nice selection of sides, too including stir-fry veg and delicious mushrooms. Staff very friendly and attentive, despite being run off their feet. Would highly recommend this place but would probably book a table next time.

Great evening, the restaurant is very large, but still top service. Food was very good, the type of service was new to me, but it was really fun! Tip: eat fewer starters and concentrate on the delicious things served at the table! 😁 Thank you for a lovely evening with real Brazilian flair 💃

The vegetarian version was very tasty (salad buffet, all warm side dishes, chili sin carne in a puff pastry bowl, dessert buffet). It will be difficult to be vegan. All the meat eaters were very enthusiastic, the waitresses were very friendly and the live music was quite loud. This is a bit tiring at a social gathering, but it's part of a Brazilian evening.

Well-attended restaurant. As the waiter already said, of course the meat is the main focus, but the side dishes (beans with bacon, grilled peppers, etc.) only came after we had paid, even though we had already been sitting for almost 2 hours. Nevertheless, everything was fine, the quality and taste of the meat was good.

Were there as a larger group and mainly took the Rodizio. After our starters we were flooded with meat from various animals (chicken, pork, beef, lamb). As soon as I had one piece open, someone stood next to me with a skewer, but unfortunately the side dishes didn't arrive until much later and the whole roast would have needed a little sauce, which unfortunately none of us found and when we asked, only an unknown colleague was referred. Overall, all the tables in the restaurant are very close together, which makes going to the buffet (starter and dessert) an obstacle course.

Be sure to reserve in advance, it is always busy. Large restaurant, but still cozy thanks to various room dividers. Staff is friendly and attentive. Starter and dessert from the buffet, main course is brought to the table. Large cocktail menu with and without alcohol. The dancers and drummers were a great finale to the show.

It’s similar to the Brazilian barbecue in China. There are a little less choices, but the taste is quite good.

We had dinner there on a Saturday evening and it was a very nice experience. The ambience is fantastic and the service is top notch, not to mention the food. Everything is just right here, a very large selection at the starter buffet, then the main course comes when the waiter/ress comes to the table and serves various types of meat and side dishes on the plate. There is also plenty of dessert at the buffet. In the meantime, live music is played in the restaurant accompanied by exotic dancers. Always happy, can only be recommended. But you have to reserve a table early as it is always full.

This was our second time at Panthera Rodizio. It was once again super tasty. The service from Yerison and all other employees was top. We'd love to come back when we're in Hamburg again.

We were here for the first time and were served very well, friendly and warmly. The food was really good and to the point. We were also able to witness a few shows. Super! Highly recommended.

We went to the restaurant in a group of 10 people, and the experience left a lot to be desired. As soon as we sat down at our table, we were not given any explanation about how the service worked. Without any guidance, we decided to go to the buffet, but we were surprised to find that there was no rice or beans available, something we found strange for a restaurant of this type. We returned to the table with salad plates and waited for the meat, but for a long time, no meat was served to our table. When we asked why, we received a rather rude response from a waiter, who said: "Eat the salad first, then the meat", in a Portuguese accent from Portugal. This approach did not make for a good first impression. It was only after an hour that the rice, beans and meat were served. However, the variety of meats was limited to just two cuts: picanha and alcatra. When we asked about other options, such as hump or ribs, the response was, at the very least, disrespectful: "Go to Brazil if you want to eat that". Furthermore, the quality of the side dishes was disappointing. The beans were watery, the farofa was flavorless, and the vinaigrette also lacked seasoning. For a meat buffet, which is generally known for its excellent food and service, the experience was well below expectations. I live in the Netherlands, where all the buffets I have visited maintain a high standard of quality. Therefore, I was surprised by the level of service in a restaurant located in a city as large as Hamburg, which has over 2 million inhabitants. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a quality buffet.

We gave our father a visit to this restaurant for Christmas. We were very impressed, especially by the staff, who were very attentive and made you feel very welcome. The food was top and always fresh. The waiter Steffen conjured up a great evening for us with his attentive manner. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

The food is really very good. More attention should be paid to ensuring that side dishes and meat come to the table at a more coordinated time. E.g. Rice without anything else makes no sense if you have to wait 10 minutes for the next meat. More emphasis should be placed on the cleanliness of the places. Sticky stands and splattered walls in the square are a bit unsavory. The service staff is mostly friendly. Unfortunately, the size of the restaurant doesn't create a cozy atmosphere, especially when it's full.

The food was super delicious, and the waiters were super friendly. I really felt like it was home. I recommend it 💯% I recommend the Venezuelan guys.

If you like just meat without any side dishes, this is the perfect place for you. The ambience is great but the side dishes don't taste good at all. The meat was super tasty but the prices are very, very expensive.

Some incredibly delicious food. Some things (from the starter buffet were a bit bland). As always, the freshly grilled skewers were amazing. Super friendly and courteous service, you felt comfortable at all times.

Price performance is great. It's best to go there really hungry, the selection is great.

Very disappointing - never again! We had reserved for the full menu and were then rudely told that we could only stay for an hour, even though there shouldn't be a time limit. This is absolutely unacceptable! What's more, we've been here before with our dog, and back then it wasn't a problem at all. But today they suddenly said that dogs were forbidden - we wish we had known that beforehand! A little consistency probably wouldn't be too much to ask for. The employees are extremely unfriendly, don't even say "hello" and make you feel unwanted. The service is poor and the entire experience was a total failure.

Unfortunately, we had to wait more than thirty minutes for a Caipirinha, despite a reminder from the service staff. On the bill there were two Caipirinhas, probably double bonged. We have successfully complained. Because of this there was no tip. The cashier gave the remaining money back with the words: “I don’t accept donations.” Big vomit comes before the fall...

A really good experience. From the cellar to the chef, everyone was friendly and the food was excellent. We'd love to come back again.
