Panorama in Castrop-Rauxel

Wunderschöne Terrasse für schönes Wetter. Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal mit Freunden dort. Obwohl wir Castroper sind, haben wir das Lokal bisher gemieden, weil die Speisekarte uns irgendwie wie Covinience-Food vorkam. Heute waren wir zum ersten und zum letzten Mal da. Der Service viel zu langsam und das Essen... na ja... der gebratene Zander war gut, aber die Beilagen patschig und ungenießbar. Gleiches galt für die anderen Gerichte. Überall war dieselbe gelbe Sauce drauf ...in der Art von Hollandaise. Wirklich kochen kann dort niemand. Dann konnten sie auch kein Trinkgeld über die Karte abbuchen... auch gestrig. Es gibt ja viele Menschen, die die Küche schätzen, wir sind anspruchsvoll und kochen selbst viel und gut.

Gepflegtes Restaurant, gut gelegen am Castroper Stadtgarten, mit schönem Aussenbereich und auch Innenbereich. Je nach Belegung sehr laut, hier könnte man mit verschiedenen Massnahmen etwas mehr angenehmere Atmo schaffen und die Lautstärke reduzieren. Aufmerksames Personal, die Speisen lecker und frisch bei einer überschaubaren Karte. Leider sind die sonst üblichen Vorspeisen Brot mit Dip ersatztlos entfallen. Schade, man lässt ja trotzdem bei 4 Personen eine Menge Geld. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Qualitativ gutes Mittagessen von einer besonderen Karte zu einem sehr fairen Preis, schönes Ambiente, auch im Außenbereich, ein Chef der den Dialog mit den Gästen bezüglich der Zufriedenheit sucht. Alles sehr empfehlenswert

Schönes Lokal, gut gelegen am Stadtpark, mit schönem Biergarten. Freundliches Personal, Essen gut und frisch bei einer schön überschaubaren Karte. Eis und Kuchen, Waffeln oder auch einfach nur was trinken. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Kleiner Nachteil, nur ein Damen WC das auch gleich die Behinderten Toilette ist.

An zwei verschiedenen Tagen wurden uns hervorragende und köstliche Mahlzeiten serviert. Der Service war schnell, höflich und freundlich. Das Ambiente war sehr schön. Ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Schöner Ort, aber Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist fragwürdig: Mittagessen 2 Salate mit Ziegenkäse und 2 Tee 52.30€

Vorab: ich bin hier ca. 2x im Jahr, da es den Älteren der Familie gut gefällt. Ich persönlich würde woanders essen. Ich möchte mich vor Ort aber auch nicht beschweren, weil ich finde, dass das leicht die Stimmung der Gruppe drücken kann. Das möchte ich am Geburtstag meines Opa nicht. Ich habe nur einmal wirklich verkohlte Pommes zurückgehen lassen. Und da sind wir beim ersten Problem: das Essen ist häufig angebrannt. Ich hatte Hähnchenbrust, die war von einer Seite schwarz, ebenso die dazugehörigen Zwiebeln und Champignons. Krebserregend hoch 10. Das in der Karte angegebene Gemüse war kaum auffindbar: 1 Stückchen (keine ganze!!) Möhre & jeweils ein Mini Mini Röschen Brokkoli und Blumenkohl. Die angekündigte Peffersauce war Hollandaise pur. Die von mir bestellten Kräuterkartoffeln (statt der Kroketten) waren genau eine kleine geschnittene und in Öl totgebratene Kartoffel - Kräuter waren offenbar aus. Insgesamt triefte das Gericht vor Öl. Auf einen Nachtisch habe ich lieber verzichtet. Der Käsekuchen sah gut aus, der Salat der Schwiegermutter ebenso. Allerdings habe ich in Erinnerung, dass es früher zumindest Brot zum Salat gab - zwar nur wandweiß, statt was mit Geschmack, aber wenigstens eine kleine Kohlenhydratbeilage. War anscheinend auch aus. Zu allem Überfluss ist die Luft im Lokal schrecklich. Mir taten von der trocken-warmen Luft richtig die Augen weh. Die Klamotten stanken nach dem Besuch furchtbar. Offenbar gibt es keine Lüftung. Zum Kaffee sage ich einfach nichts. Ein gutes Lokal ohne Siebträgermaschine (und jemanden, der sie bedienen kann) geht einfach heutzutage nicht mehr. Aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Essen war sehr lecker, Personal sehr nett, ich kann weiter empfehlen dieses Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We reserved a table by phone in advance. We wanted something special for our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. We were given a table for two between the restrooms, the bar with the cash register, and the entrance. It was extremely uncomfortable and completely lacked any ambiance. There was constant commotion and hectic activity around our table: guests going to the restroom, the waitstaff constantly running around it, and since I was sitting with my back close to the entrance, with guests and staff constantly going in and out, and the cold from outside was quite noticeable, it was no fun at all. We also constantly heard the restroom hand dryer, and guests and staff kept bumping into my chair, as we were practically sitting in the path of them, as already mentioned. As for the food: exorbitant prices for deep-fried schnitzel and greasy, sticky fried potatoes. The food was carelessly placed on the plates. For the prices charged, we would have expected a small mixed salad or at least a single lettuce leaf on the plate. Sadly, nothing of the sort. ... Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is completely unacceptable. We will not be visiting this establishment again.

We travel all the way from Wattenscheid to eat there regularly. It's always a wonderful time.

I often go here spontaneously; I appreciate that the kitchen is open all day, so you can grab a bite to eat in the afternoon too! Really friendly service and delicious food!

Yesterday, four of us ate there with our guest, and we were all absolutely thrilled. The food was outstanding – each dish lovingly prepared and a true highlight in terms of flavor. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion. A huge compliment to the chef! The service was also exceptionally attentive, warm, and professional. The combination of outstanding cuisine, a fantastic team, and a loving atmosphere is truly rare these days. We will definitely be back – and would highly recommend it.

The Panorama is highly recommended. The service is particularly outstanding. Since we eat out often, we were impressed by the attentiveness of the waiters, the friendliness, and the personal greeting from the chef. Unfortunately, that's not often the case. I went there for the first time for a birthday party, even though I live just a few kilometers away. The restaurant is idyllically located in the middle of Castrop-Rauxel's city park. Unfortunately, it was a Friday afternoon and the noise level was accordingly high. The food was excellent, as was the service. There was a reasonably priced daily special, and the dishes on the à la carte menu were also not to be sniffed at. I'll definitely be back again.

We have been to the Panorama several times and have always been quite satisfied. Then Easter Monday with my parents, who had invited us. Looking at the menu was a shock. The dishes increased in price exorbitantly. A salad with chicken breast for over 26 euros is unreasonable... and we're not talking about fine dining but an average, home-style atmosphere. Somehow we felt a bit ripped off, even though the quality of the food was okay.

I haven't lived in Castrop for long and I visited the Panorama and I'm thrilled. The ambience gives you a holiday feeling, the service is like you've known each other for years, a friendliness and professionalism that I've rarely experienced in the catering industry. The service is attentive and most importantly: not intrusive. You get the feeling that the customer is really being pampered as if they were on vacation and in a 5 star hotel. The chef does an excellent job, the plates are really appetizingly prepared so that you don't even dare to eat them. The portions are more than enough and sufficient for me as a woman. The ingredients cannot be beaten for freshness. Every ingredient is prepared really deliciously. You will be greeted personally by the owner and given a warm welcome. It really makes you feel pampered. I can recommend the Panorama without hesitation. Both the food and drinks are filled to the brim. I drank a Lillet and ate with my girls. Neither of us said a word because we were so overwhelmed by the taste that we couldn't find the words. Thank you for sweetening my start in Castrop with such a really nice location. I am and will remain a guest who will always be happy to come to you. Maintain this warmth, friendliness and professionalism, because that is exactly what sets you apart and sets you apart from all the other locations I have visited in North Rhine-Westphalia. Thank you and stay exactly as you are. So you will have to create a lot of new places for yourself, because I believe that anyone who goes here once will not just come back once.

Ambiance and service great, I have a suggestion for the dish e.g. Schnitzel Madagascar - a schnitzel was served with a delicious pepper cream sauce and fried potatoes, it was really tasty, but looked a bit empty on the plate. Kit some salad garnish like leaf salt, slice of cucumber and tomato or something like that would make the plate look much more appetizing...!!!

Ich habe meinen 60. Geburtstag bei Mentor und seinem Team gefeiert; es war rundherum ein toller Abend mit einem hervorragenden Buffet und tollem Ambiente, der Service war wie immer überragend ... Ich kann das Panorama nur wärmstens empfehlen. Auch meine knapp 40 Gäste waren sehr angetan und so manche/r möchte dort ebenfalls feiern... Mein besonderer Dank gilt Markus und Edi für ihren unaufdringlichen, aber immer prompten Service!!! LG an das ganze Team Roger

Beautifully located at the city garden. With the outside temperature at 3 degrees, it was quite cool in the restaurant. In summer you can definitely sit on the terrace very nicely. Service and food was good but nothing special. Prices are on the higher side, so I would have expected a little more creativity: my schnitzel was swimming in sauce, a few fries on the side and no decoration at all.

Food is very tasty and prices are great! It's just a shame that you don't get notice in advance that if you reserve tables and a couple can't come, you'll have to pay compensation.

Great ambience, beautiful light and pleasant, subtle piano music Background. Although I never order salad in a restaurant, here I always, always order the Panorama salad, which is incredibly tasty and before that the world's best bruschetta, really, they surpass everything I've ever eaten in the way of bruschetta. The boss always asks questions personally at the table. But everything is a little more expensive than elsewhere, just a special restaurant. You should definitely reserve in advance.

We were here last night for a company outing. Great little restaurant right next to the city garden, but in the middle of the residential area. Large comfortable covered outdoor area. Large portions, well prepared and very tasty food.

Very nice restaurant, food, staff, location very good. Guys, the sink could use a new faucet, it's so cheap that the chrome doesn't peel off but is washed off because it's so old. I think hygiene is also important in the restaurant. But everything else 👍
