Were there for the second time last night. It is an extremely nice restaurant, very nicely decorated, the staff are always friendly and polite, always with a smile and a casual saying to the loved ones. Really can only be recommended, it's a shame that you can only give 5 stars 🌟.

Everything was great, except that we were charged €4.50 each for 0.02l of limoncello without asking. So it wasn't on the house after all. Then why do you act as if? I don't think it's good...I gave you a tip...

Oudstanding service, warm and family like atmosphere and delicious food. We had great experience and were served by a very kind person who offered us grappa on house after our meal. Food portions are big and prices are adequate to the size and quality. Could not recommend more. Well worth 5 stars.

We have been regular customers at Carmelo for 2 years. The best restaurant in the north of Düsseldorf. We have already spent many “Italian evenings” there. The food, the ambience, the staff, of course first and foremost Tomaso, and of course the “Carmelo family”. Everything is just fine, everything is great!!! ❤️ All of our friends who have gotten to know this restaurant, even those who are not from Düsseldorf, always want to go there again. My family and I were there last night and, as always, we were very happy with the food! The pizzas there are really the best you can get in Unterrath. It's always a pleasure to eat there :).

Pizza dough is a bit rubbery and difficult to cut. The location right on a busy street is not that exciting outside and doesn't create a feeling of well-being. Too bad.

The friendliest service, the freshest ingredients, the tastiest dishes. A great treasure that we have here in Düsseldorf. And the fact that guests from outside are also completely enthusiastic speaks for an objective assessment. The rest of us are in love and deluded anyway. 😊

Very tasty, real Italian cuisine by real Italians. Location somewhat strange: On a main road in an apartment building. But if you sit on the terrace or inside you don't notice this, it just feels like it should, you are in Italy.

I celebrated my birthday at Carmelo with over 30 people. We had an entire room to ourselves and everything was perfectly taken care of. A gift table was already set up, vases were handed out, the bowling alley's party room was well equipped - highly recommended! Plus, everything tasted great. I provided appetizer plates and a few drinks, everything else was handled per person via beer mats, which was very convenient. Service and drinks were also top, especially Aperol & Limoncello Spritz. Thank you again for the unforgettable celebration! 🫶🏻

We only stayed for a short time because we needed a toilet. Even though the restaurant wasn't open yet, we were very kindly invited in. We were politely refused to leave a small fee in the tip box. To at least have something to eat, we ordered two espressos. These were delicious, something you unfortunately rarely find. Meanwhile, the team gathered at a long table to eat together. The dishes brought here all looked delicious! The daily, handwritten menu is also very inviting. And when we finally wanted to pay, we weren't allowed to do that either. That was really very touching! I immediately fell in love with this beautiful and very authentic trattoria! We will definitely stop there very soon and enjoy the authentic cuisine! ❤️

We received a wonderful welcome even though we hadn't made a reservation. As expected, there were no seats available in a top restaurant. AAABUT!!!! We were offered a Prosecco to shorten the waiting time (it was on the house), then fresh pane and a plate of antipasti came... Hey, waiting (without a reservation) is really fun.. Everything at the table was more than top... Food came quicker than expected (restaurant full) great wine pairing I would really like to have a restaurant like this where I live. Unfortunately 800km away. We're going back tomorrow because it was a great evening. Thanks to the great team..

A fantastic restaurant in an inconspicuous place. We happily returned there for dinner while in town. Italian atmosphere, wonderful host, fantastic food. One of those places you miss.

The food was excellent and the service was also very good. If you're paying attention to money, you shouldn't take every recommendation but rather focus more on the card. Since that didn't matter to us that evening, the waiter certainly had fun with us and ensured good sales ;-) but we were also extremely satisfied and his recommendations really made the evening perfect for us. Starting with a starter platter, there was truffle pasta made from a Parmesan wheel as an intermediate course and a great fish dish as the main course. A bottle of Prosecco, a few glasses of wine and a tiramisu later came the bill. The motto was “you don’t treat yourself to anything else”. But all in all it was a really nice evening, with nice people, good service and first-class food. Therefore absolutely recommended.

Nice restaurant, staff very friendly, very busy. Was there to go bowling, because they also have 2 bowling alleys that are in top condition. The pizza there was great and there was delicious Füchsen beer 😉 The other dishes also looked delicious. We will now bowl and eat there regularly.

Super gemütlicher Italiener, man fühlt sich wie Zuhause. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, essen eins a! Super Qualität und Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Essen wirklich lecker, gut, super netter Service, herzlich, lustig, aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir gehen immer gern hin und wurden bisher nie enttäuscht. Sehr zu empfehlen das Saltimboca, die Nudeln und die echte italienische Pizza. Und zum Abschied gibts immer einen Limoncello oder, extra fürs Haus gemacht, einen Meloncello. Wir kommen ganz sicher immer wieder

Wir hatten die Absicht, dieses italienische Restaurant auszuprobieren, und haben im Voraus telefonisch einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt ankamen, wurde uns ein kleiner Tisch direkt vor den Toiletten zugewiesen, den wir höflich ablehnten. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass aufgrund von Weihnachtsfeiern keine besseren Tische verfügbar seien. Es wäre hilfreich gewesen, uns diese Information bereits bei der telefonischen Reservierung mitzuteilen. Stattdessen fühlten wir uns im Restaurant vor vollendete Tatsachen gestellt, was wir als arrogant empfanden. Dies hat bei uns einen unangenehmen Eindruck hinterlassen, und die Motivation für einen erneuten Besuch ist nun leider nicht mehr vorhanden. Schade.

Wir waren gern beim Vorbesitzer (Alberto) essen. Die neuen Besitzer müssen sich aber überhaupt nicht hinter dem Alten verstecken. Ganz im Gegenteil, ich finde das Essen, die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken noch deutlich besser. Nun schmeckt es wie in Italien. Wir kommen gern wieder. Update: Auch das Catering welches wir für eine größere Feier bestellt hatten, war einfach nur super. Wir freuen uns schon auf die nächste Feier. ;-)

War heute da zugezogen zum erstenmal da hatten einen Tisch für 2 reserviert der uns zugewiesene Tisch erschien uns unpassend zu unserem Anlass Trauer und seit einem Jahr nicht gesehen es wurde flexibel reagiert zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Die Pizza ist wirklich gut und jeden Cent Wert. Werde auf jeden Fall noch öfter einkehren und den Rest der Karte testen.

Wollten eigentlich am späten Abend Nudeln speisen aber die Küche hatte schon geschlossen. Also haben wir Pizza gegessen und muss sagen das gilt auch für den Service, Profis können und machen es einfach unumstritten. Vielen Dank Собственно хотели поужинать лапшой поздно вечером, но кухня уже закрылась. Итак, мы съели пиццу, и хочу сказать, что тоже самое относится и к обслуживаемым, профессионалы могут и просто делают это неоспоримо. Спасибо вам

War schon mehrmals dort. Das Essen ist immer hervorragend zubereitet, die Portionen, für jemanden der Hunger hat, eher überschaubar. Der Service ist super freundlich und aufmerksam. Bei schönem Wetter ist die Terrasse die erste Wahl und selbst unter der Woche gut belegt. Innen ist das Ambiente modern mit einer schönen Theke. Wenn die Terrasse nicht benutzt werden kann, sollte man ggf. eine Reservierung machen, um einen Platz zu bekommen.

Nach fast 1 Monat nachdenken: geht nicht! Vorspeise: Vitello & Carpaccio waren ok. Hauptspeise 1x Saltimbocca 1x Fischplatte... ehrlich? 3 kleine Fleischstückchen verlieren sich auf einem Teller garniert mit etwas Gemüse??? Mein Kumpel und ich sind keine Riesen Esser, aber dass wir zum satt werden noch eine Pizza bestellen müssen?? Rechnung €154,- incl 2 Flaschen Wein. Den (on top) Tipp hat sich nur unser Kellner Tomasino verdient. Er allein ist aber leider kein Grund um wiederzukommen. LEIDER! Denn der ist KLASSE!!!

Ein wunderschöner Abend in einem gemütlichen Ambiente, mit leckerem Essen und freundlichem Personal. Wir wurden rundum gut bedient und fühlten uns wertgeschätzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The pizzas here are very good. Pasta dishes are yummy but somewhat small. This time I tried Saltimbocca which was pretty good. You feel welcome here and they are very friendly. Outside seating is great but the service outside is less attentive.

Was soll ich schreiben... Wir waren mit Freunden dort, die schon desöfteren dort waren. Wir hatten für 19 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert, der Tisch wurde aber wohl Bekannten des Inhabers gegeben, um 19.30 Uhr bekamen wir endlich einen Tisch. Der Service war unterirdisch, das Personal komplett überfordert, der Chef selbst nur am rennen um es den Gästen halbwegs richtig zu machen. Eine Karte bekamen wir endlich um 20:15 Uhr! Ich muss sagen, das geht so mal gar nicht! Das essen das dann endlich um 21:30 Uhr kam war wirklich top und super lecker aber einen gemütlichen Abend stellt man sich leider anders vor 🤷🏻‍♂️
