Pamfilya Restaurant in Berlin

We came from Turkey for a trip. We chose Pamfilya. The doner and kebab are delicious. The staff is very attentive and friendly. If you want to eat delicious kebabs in a clean place, you should definitely go to Pamfilya.

Simply furnished restaurant BUT the doner kebab was great!!!! And the tea too 😃

Service and ambiance were spot on; a very nice restaurant, friendly service, open kitchen, and it smells absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, I have to say that while the food tasted okay, it wasn't nearly as good as I had hoped. I would say the food was average. Nevertheless, I can recommend Pamfilya to anyone looking for a nice restaurant to spend a pleasant evening.

Located in a busy neighborhood in Berlin Wedding is the famous Pamfilya. I got to try out their Döner Kebab for my first visit to this restaurant and was satisfied. The meat was tasty with a perfect amount of flavor and decently big portion. I must say, that €10 to eat in was a bit pricey, considering you could get better for cheaper. My server was a very kind lady, and allowed me to try their Turkish tea on her. Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very cozy and I recommend the place, if looking for a good real veal kebab.

Don't believe the hype... Not better than many others, but more expensive.

We went to Pamfilya for the first time today and it was delicious 😋 Super friendly service, fresh ingredients, and tasty food. We couldn't decide what to order because everything looked so delicious. On your first visit, you should definitely order the Nomad's Platter. Very nice people at the next table let us try some of their mixed grill. Everything was excellent. The price-performance ratio is also great. 100% recommendation!

Food was okay, nothing special, staff a bit disorganized. Orders weren't brought to the table in full or were completely forgotten. Ordered a mixed grill with rice, received fries. Meat portions were tiny. Waited 30 minutes for dessert. It has charm, you can go there, but you don't have to.

Incredible döner! I was born and raised in Berlin and have eaten my fair share of döner. This was one of the best I've ever had. Perfect, in-house-raised meat with an outstanding seasoning and superb homemade sauces that complement the meat perfectly, rather than overpowering it. This is how a döner should be! 12/10!

The prices have gone downhill and are way too high 9€ for a kebab

Visit on Monday, October 13, 2025, in the evening The Pamfilya in Berlin's Wedding district had become known to us, among other things, through a TV celebrity chef, so we decided to visit it again, as it had been so highly praised in the review. Upon entry, we were greeted, assigned a table, and given the menu. The employee who served us, we thought, was either in a bad mood that evening or stressed – in any case, he didn't give a convincingly positive overall impression. The menu we received was due for a refresh; it was visibly frayed and no longer attractive – this also falls under the heading of ambiance. We had already looked at the restaurant's website beforehand, and there were noticeable differences compared to the prices on site – they should either omit the prices on the website or correct them correctly, otherwise, in our opinion, this is a bait-and-switch. Order: > Fanta 0.4 l for €3.90 >> The online menu lists the product as 0.33 l for €3.25 > Tavuk Sis (small) chicken skewer with salad or fries for €16.50 >> The online menu lists the product for €15.00 > Pamfilya Menu (veal sliced ​​doner kebab with rice or fries, salad, and sauce) for €16.40 > Free tea afterward :-) Summary: Unfortunately, my partner wasn't entirely satisfied with his meal, as he criticized the quality of the meat and couldn't eat it all, as it contained a couple of hard pieces of cartilage, which put him off his appetite. My chicken skewer tasted average; in my opinion, the meat could have been cooked a bit better. At the end of the meal, I used the restroom, and this is probably the lowest point of this restaurant. The restroom was very dirty and made a truly pitiful impression. Of course, I want to give the owners credit for not constantly having to go downstairs to check on the restroom, but this restroom facility was in dire need of cleanliness. It's a shame, but we left with a less than pleasant experience and can only say that some improvements are needed.

Very flavorful and the meat is tender. The lahmacun is original, just like in Turkey. Excellent! For my taste, they could be a bit crispier, and I prefer them without parsley. The homemade lavash is excellent, and the staff is very friendly, with an owner who even takes care of the guests himself. The best we've had in Germany so far!!!

STREET FOOD REVIEW SCALE: 4/5 Could easily be the best döner in Berlin. Get the Nomaden Teller (Yörük Tabağı) - a plate of döner meat, vegetables, three fresh and tasty sauces, lovely, hot Lavash bread and a nice and balanced Ayran. With this dish, you make your own döner at the table! After the meal, enjoy a cup of Turkish tea. Super tasty! This is a very large restaurant, the service seemingly understaffed and therefore slow and not especially personable. Hence the 4/5.

We had the doner kebab plate with fries and a chicken plate. The food was an absolute disaster. The doner meat was tough and not tasty, and the fries and salad were also disappointing. The meat on the chicken plate was pink and raw inside. We returned it and got another one: pink and raw again. I wouldn't go back even if there were nothing else open. It was also not clean. We were given glass Coke bottles, one of which had an unidentifiable brown substance stuck to it.

Our order arrived very late, and it was wrong. We ordered a wrap, but it only came with salad and onions.

Top Döner Restaurant with a solid quality. The owner took his time to entertaine us with his deep knowledge and passion about his food. Great experience with very solid food. Always will stay my recommendation.

The doner kebab here is delicious—not a skewer of minced meat or even sausage meat, but a well-seasoned, classic skewer of meat. Delicious even without the sauce. If you could add cacik to it, without the mayonnaise that's unfortunately used almost everywhere these days, you'd be in doner heaven.

In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn't right. I ordered kofte. The food was okay. But almost €19 is simply too much. You can get this kind of food for less anywhere, and it's no worse.

I bought a Dürüm doner for a whopping €9.90, and I was speechless. It was the thinnest Dürüm I've ever eaten. That was a bad joke, absolutely impossible for that price. But I have to admit, the little I did eat at least tasted good. I would have needed at least three to feel full. I don't know what the man was thinking...

Well, I was there again just today after almost a year, and I have to say, if you just go by the taste, it's the best kebab in Berlin, in my opinion. But the price is pretty fair, you have to be fair, at the very top end.

I don't understand why it's rated 4 stars. Incredible roasted flavors in the doner kebab bread at first bite. The meat has a different bite than a regular doner kebab. Highly recommended for a new, luxurious doner kebab experience!

I was particularly impressed by the homemade ayran, the fresh soups, and the perfectly grilled specialties. The veal doner kebab was simply divine – something you rarely find! 😋😋😋 The ambiance is pleasant, and you can tell how much love and care goes into every detail. The owner and the entire team are incredibly friendly and attentive. ♥️🙏 For me, Pamfilya is now one of the best Turkish restaurants I've ever visited. I've been a regular customer for years; this is the kebab shop in Berlin with the best meat. Try a kebab plate or a dürüm. You won't regret it. A fresh ayran is a must with a kebab plate or a dürüm.

We found this restaurant on Google during our visit to Berlin. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to get a table...friendly, attentive service and delicious food...if you're upset about the prices, you don't have to eat there :-)...we definitely recommend it.

The place specializes in roast meats and has one of Berlin's most famous kebabs, but they also have fabulous vegetarian options. This spinach manti was one of the best things I've had this year. They're small pastas stuffed with a yogurt and bell pepper sauce. I thought it was a very light dish, even though it's a large plate of pasta. Their künefe was also one of the best I've ever had ❤️

I've eaten here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The service is very friendly, they pay attention to cleanliness and the protons and kebabs are really big. I'm happy to drive a little longer for a kebab from here. I can only recommend the shop.

Unfortunately, it was a bitter disappointment. The meat was dry and partly raw, the bread was stale, and the sauce had little flavor. The ingredients didn't seem fresh – the lettuce was wilted and the tomato was watery. And they handled banknotes without washing the bread!

For me, Pamfilya is one of the best places for veal doner kebabs—not the traditional doner, but rather the nomad plate. That has been my personal highlight every time I've had it. The grill plate was also good. The quality fluctuated slightly—once it was a bit dry—but overall, it was excellent. A bit more expensive, but definitely justified for the quality of the meat.

The staff was friendly, but no one asked if everything was OK, because it wasn't. I had two pieces of I-NOT-KNOW-WHAT in my food: bones, cartilage, tendons, you name it. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio at €12 isn't right. Two chances, two disappointments.

Friends, I've tried them all. Ferhat in Vienna. Kebabi in Karlsruhe. Oruc in Cologne. This kebab is the best. The meat has to be eaten without sauce and only with bread. It's crispy yet juicy. For me, this is the most delicious kebab I've ever had. I had the nomad plate. P.S.: The owner is super friendly and, believe me, it's worth every euro you spend there. Please keep going forever.

Even though we specifically asked and requested not to be served leftovers from the previous day, we were served the same dried-out doner meat from the day before. Even after expressing our dissatisfaction, there was no response. Truly disappointing!

Hello, I actually really enjoy eating doner kebabs. Unfortunately, there's been a problem with the last two orders (I only noticed it upon delivery). I thought it was a one-off with the last order, but today the same problem happened again. Your doner kebab and the packaging smell strongly of perfume or some other odorous substance. I find this really unpleasant, as food should never smell of perfume. When I bite into a piece of bread with meat, I don't want to be simultaneously hit by the scent of deodorant, perfume, or other unnatural odors. Please change this! Otherwise, I'll unfortunately have to eat doner kebabs somewhere else in the future!

I didn't find the meat in the döner tasty. It also felt like I was eating bread and salad because there was more salad than meat in my döner. The sparkling ayran was very nice, but I think it was overpriced for the price.

Honest review from me, food was delicious, but the service was terrible. I waiting to long for the food, 3 tables coming after me got served first, and till they finish eating and leaving ,my food was still not ready, come new people which is sitting next to my table, and the food coming first. My parking ticket almost ended, just 6 minutes remained. Then I went to talk with the staff etc, then 10 minutes later they brought me the food. No sorry nothing, we finished the food quickly, paying and leaving. Never again…

Simply one of the best kebabs in Berlin! Top quality and the taste speaks for itself.

The food was very good. We had a dürüm and a small portion of grilled kofte, each with an ice-cold, homemade ayran, and a free tea. All in all, a delicious meal with nothing to complain about. The friendliness could be improved a bit, but I think that's just a matter of the mentality.

Best kebab veal meat quality I have tasted so far in Germany. Bread was a bit to mushi on one point. Sloppy toasting. I suggest to take extra meat with your döner order. One order of chicken wings for 20 bucks is a bit hardcore though And with 9 Euro definitely on the steep side. The ayran was fresh and tasty. Overall really really good. Almost perfect. Actually 4.5 stars.

I really enjoy eating at Pamfilya. Out of 10 times I order, my doner isn't cooked the way I wanted it 7 times. I keep telling them to write it down; they say I won't forget, I have it in my head. Then it often turns out the way I didn't want it. The Iskembe soup is first-class.

We went here for dinner following a recommendation from YouTuber Holle. What can I say: it was OK, but not for a kebab that I came here for!! There are much better ones in Berlin!! Service is terrible. First of all, we "Germans" were put in the last corner, and when we paid, the waiter tried to rip us off. The bill was €35. We paid €100 and only got €15 back. How stupid does he think we are? Watch out for tourists paying!!

Kelle paca 😍😍 A very good kelle paca soup after a rainy and windy Berlin day. It tasted very good. It was a nice filling meal with a hearty yoruk dish on top.

The nomad plate was very good, but not outstanding. At just under €20, it wasn't exactly cheap either.

The dürüm is already delicious, and you can feel the fillet skewer, but for €9, they could still put a little more meat in the dürüm. (Extra meat costs €3, so you'd have to pay €12 for a regular dürüm, which is very cheeky and unjustified.) If you're hungry and think you'll get a slightly more expensive kebab, you definitely won't be full. I don't recommend the place and won't go there again.

One of the best kebabs in town.

We ended up here on a Google recommendation during our Berlin vacation. The restaurant was packed – a good sign... The friendly owner immediately took care of us, seated us, and recommended the food. And it was very authentic and delicious 😋 The veal from the charcoal grill is highly recommended 👍 We'd love to come back when we're back in Berlin.

I think döner is not made in the way we know it in all of Berlin. The interesting thing is that most people do not find this strange. We can say that the beans are good, the rice is average and the soup is good. We can say that it is a middle-class Turkish restaurant, but I wish it continued success because it serves in Berlin and promotes Turkish food.

Every food that I've ate here was super delicious cheken and lamb kebab was amazing, so so delicious. I also tried doner kebab and pideh and their was also so yummy. After a fulfilling meal you can drink a turkish tea and it makes everything complete.

We also went to Pamfilya with 4 people last Friday following Tim Raue's recommendation. We arrived earlier than reserved, but got a table outside. Depending on the waiter/ress, the service was between well and good. The recommended nomad plates were plentiful of the meat portion with the sliced ​​meat, but it was very fatty and almost unseasoned, the salad was served dry without any spice, no pepper mill, olive oil. The pide, ayran and Turkish tea were good. The biggest disappointment were the 3 sauces, most of which were very mayonnaise heavy. Cacik, the typical Turkish yogurt sauce, was not included. The seating outside with an awning was ok, but the area doesn't offer any ambience.

Very nice staff. We were a large group and were even given meat samples. The kebab was very tasty and totally recommended. The shop is in a good location and is generally a very good kebab shop.

Just visited and we liked it! Very authentic vibes of Turkey/Middle east. Food was great, fresh vegetables and variety of sauces served. We recommend fresh home made like Ayran that tasted delicious! Sitting down inside just by the street window is a good choice when you enjoy chilling stay watching busy main street :)

Nomad plates and service are great. But: I was there around 10 p.m. Only the front area was open. The back one closed to clean. Actually nothing bad, if not even commendable. But please don't use chlorine cleaner, which you can smell throughout the restaurant. Prices are pretty high now. You can easily spend 50 EUR if you want to be well fed for two.

Food is always a matter of taste, but I can only report on my experience in this restaurant today. We had doner kebab and Adana kebab. Unfortunately the quality was disappointing for me: hardly any meat, but a lot of fat. The Adana Kebab tasted mainly of spices, which you could see in large pieces. Another drawback: plastic straws are still used. The service was also not convincing. I appreciate it when waiters are warm, appear clean and show genuine interest in the order. Here I had the feeling that they just wanted to get their work done quickly.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for a long time. The food and service has been okayish for me. Today I visited the restaurant after a very long time and ordered my regular meals. The food was okayish however one of the worker at the restaurant suddenly got mad and started demanding the payment of the bill. I was not done with the meal and was still finishing the complimentary tea he offered a few minutes ago. He went violent out of blue and dragged me out of the restaurant and punched me on the face in front of all the customers who were witness to this. It was shocking for me and I had to call the police to report this incident. The police arrived and took note of this incident. An ambulance was called however no service was provided at the clinic. This was my experience today on the 24th of April around noon.
