It was very nice and tasty there. Perfect for a trip

Service: We had reserved for 8 people. The reception was nice and uncomplicated. The first round of drinks and appetizers were taken and brought in a reasonable time. The starter plate was okay. It was advertised as having "one loaf" of country bread (4-5 slices of baguette + 4-5 slices of multigrain baguette) well. (Aioli and olives delicious.) We then had to wait 1 1/2 hours for the main course. Meanwhile there was no interest in the table. The drinks were empty after half an hour and were not consumed again until shortly before the food was served. That's weak. The first beer was stale, the second only moderately carbonated. Kitchen: The "Wiener" schnitzel was carelessly and sparsely prepared/decorated (a sprig of parsley with half a cherry tomato), about the size of a hand and dry. Pannade was okay, the two lemon slices added were fresh. The fries were OK. No included mayo or anything like that. The accompanying salad was not brought. For €20+ I unfortunately have to say: outrageous. It may still be possible to argue for more complex or elaborate dishes, but I find it outrageous to charge 20 euros for a loveless, dry schnitzel with fries. “It will be fine” is simply not sustainable at such a price. The lack of salad is probably not due to the service. The other dishes were rated between “okay” and “tasty”. Conclusion: Nice ambience. Not suitable for visiting a restaurant, but may be better for visiting a beer garden (separate menu and separate tap). At most we will try the beer garden again. The waiter's "There's a lot going on today, we're chronically understaffed" speech doesn't work either. Close tables that you cannot serve and focus on serving tables “in one piece”.

The restaurant is idyllically located on a small lake. The store is furnished in a modern style, but for me personally there are no room dividers. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the covered terrace. The menu is appealing because it's not that huge, but with a seasonal menu. The service is very friendly and attentive. The dishes we ordered came together, which is not always normal for 6 people. The dishes were all very hot, freshly prepared and very tasty. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. The shop is recommended.

Cozy restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food.

Very nice location right by the pond and near the forest. The beer garden is in a quiet location. Your physical well-being is well taken care of outside and inside with very nice, friendly staff. The boss himself always has an open ear for his guests and is very friendly and helpful to fulfill every wish of the guests. We are always happy to come back...

Wir waren heute im Biergarten und haben dort die Empfehlung „Halbes Hähnchen mit Pommes Frites und Krautsalat“ bestellt. Das Hähnchen war gefühlt zum fünften Mal auffrittiert, die Haut mit Geschmacksverstärkern verdorben und das Fleisch durch mehrfaches Aufwärmen total ausgetrocknet. Eigentlich war das Essen ungenießbar.

The champions of the cream schnitzel were totally overcooked. The side salad was good. The service is friendly but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Apart from ours, the food was served at three other tables without the cutlery on the table. You have that The menu was brought, the drinks were served without you noticing that the cutlery was missing and that happened several times. Absolutely unacceptable.

You have to differentiate between a restaurant and a beer garden. In the restaurant there is a larger selection of dishes in the beer garden there are more currywurst and burgers, although unfortunately you can clearly taste that the paddies are frozen goods.

I was there with my family and ordered a chanterelle salad, which was declared vegetarian according to the menu. After 3/4 of the salad I noticed that the rest of it was full of bacon bits on one side. This is an absolute no-go. The waitress was kind enough to remove the salad from the bill, but I would like to point out to every vegetarian and vegan that in this restaurant they should ask what is in it before ordering, even if it is marked with a V on the menu .

So the food was good and a lot. It also had a hefty price. I found the boss very unpleasant and arrogant. He wasn't friendly either. So we won't go there again.

Nice large beer garden, very cozy inside, always friendly service, very tasty food, good selection, perfect even when it's full and only a few staff on site. Gladly again!!

Well-attended restaurant in the country with excellent food and personal service. Starter platter for 2 people and then onion roast with fried potatoes and bacon beans...Indescribably good... Particularly worth mentioning is that there is a men's steak knife...so sharp... Small deductions for the outdoor area in terms of ambience, beer garden but wonderful with its own food outlet and drinks bar... Overall 4.8 🌟...

That's my rating for the beer garden...unfortunately too expensive, too uncomfortable and the staff is clearly too busy with themselves and their smartphones. Inside it looks different

We ended up there by chance on our trip. Although it was very crowded given the beautiful weather, we were warmly welcomed and got our food quickly. We got a delicious pepper schnitzel and exceptionally tasty curry slices. We will come back in any case!!

Completely overwhelmed. Despite a prior reservation, the drink order had not been taken after 45 minutes, while guests without a reservation had already been served their food. Depending on the table, you may not even see a waitress as side tables in the restaurant are ignored. One less regular customer. There are plenty of other good restaurants in the area that are still interested in customers.

It's always nice to visit the beer garden. The burgers, the salad and also the currywurst and fries taste simply delicious. Price performance fits. When the sun is still shining, the drink tastes twice as good. Nice stopover on a bike tour. It's a bit hidden, but it's also easy to reach by car. I have one wish/suggestion. I would be very happy if there was a little more focus on the cleanliness of the toilets. (Floors and cabins, for example, and rethinking the ceiling lighting.) Thanks

Unfortunately, the bowl consists of 90 percent salad, the service was alone and completely overwhelmed. (Take order, pour drinks, bring drinks, bring food, clear away, collect) That was too much. We were assigned a table. We weren't allowed to sit at another table, they had to be kept free, even though no one else came. 2nd class treatment? not accommodating

I don't think a curry that contains anything other than the pineapple described is a high level of culinary art. The whole thing is available with either meat or shrimp. Rice shaped into it. That's it. No vegetables, no salad. The whole thing was justified by intolerances... Ok, I can order vegetables with it, they said. But let's be honest, on the subject of intolerances... what's in the sauce isn't on the menu, so I have to ask that too. And every person who knows a curry knows that it is a healthy dish with many different types of vegetables. I got a curry sauce with pineapple. Nothing more, nothing less. By the way, things are no different with the bowl.... Not recommended. And the only dish that is suitable for vegans. Sad for a "modern" kitchen.

Two years ago we made a reservation at the Palm in Samannshof and were thrilled. Food was fantastic. Great selection at appropriate, reasonable prices. The service was great and my medical assistance dog was welcome. Now dogs are forbidden in the dining room, the food is definitely not fresh and the service is really bad. We will no longer visit the Palm im Samannshof with the whole family, let alone as individuals. The prices are a far cry from the service that is provided there. It's a shame about this restaurant

We were invited to the 70th birthday. From the lovingly set table, the really good and tasty food to the friendly and courteous service, it was really recommended. There was really nothing to complain about at all. Thank you for the beautiful day.

The food is recommended. The portions are generous. Unfortunately the side salad came too late for us. The restaurant is beautifully located, right on a lake. It has an attractive interior area, a covered terrace and a beer garden with a separate snack bar. Something for everyone and also a great stop on bike tours.

I've wanted to leave a review for the Samannshof for a long time. But only now have we been able to pay a visit to all three areas. We first met Samannhof when we were invited to a family celebration last year. Even back then we were impressed by the chic atmosphere. The celebration took place in a separate, generously equipped side wing. Starters, main courses and desserts were excellent and the service was friendly and quick. For service, later. Since I liked the outdoor area so much, the beer garden became my personal favorite spot for long bike rides, actually all summer long. Hey, even motorcyclists after an extensive Lower Rhine tour, let's see you. Turn off the main road, it's worth it. Even if it has to be alcohol-free. Small dishes, delicious beer and cool shade, or protected from the rain (unfortunately that also happened), a great place to go. The currywurst is great, but also burgers or an onion roast. And the service is also friendly and quick. For service, later. Yes and now, an evening for two. Bad weather, go to the restaurant. However, please book a table in advance. Luckily we had pre-ordered on Saturday. Good things get around, here too, small menu, but everything you need. Everything was great, tasty and the price was completely justified. Some people don't like it, others would do this or that differently. But the total counts. That is fulfilled here. Same at the other tables. Everyone looks happy. The kiebitzen on the neighboring plates, here too everything was beautifully presented and generous. Quite ok, nothing special. The table was not cleaned after the starter, with the presentation of the course coming to the table on narrow vessels. Schnitzel and fries were delicious. Completely normal restaurant, no more Palm.

Wir waren dort das erste Mal und auch nur weil wir zu einer standesamtlichen Hochzeit eingeladen waren. Wenn man nicht weiß das es dieses Restaurant dort gibt findet man es nicht was sehr schade ist. Denn es war wirklich sehr gut dort. Das Ambiente ist, nach meiner Meinung, rustikal/modern aber sehr angenehm. Der Service war gut, anfangs etwas holprig aber danach sehr aufmerksam und äußerst freundlich. Es gab eine extra zusammengestellte Karte wo für jeden was dabei war. Die Vorspeisenvarianten waren der Hammer, sehr umfangreich und super lecker. Der Hauptgang war auch sehr gut, Steak mit Pommes nur der Nachtisch war nicht ganz mein Ding, Apfelringe, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Die Toiletten sehr sauber und alles in allem ein toller Nachmittag. Das Restaurant ist schön gelegen und wir werden im Sommer mit Sicherheit nochmal dort hin fahren.

Nach vorheriger Reservierung waren wir zu Viert dort, um den Geburtstag unserer Tochter nachzufeiern. Wir wurden leider in den unteren Bereich "abgeschoben". Dort war es ungemütlich und kühl. Kein schönes Ambiente, wie wir es vom oberen Teil des Restaurants kannten. Dies lag wahrscheinlich daran, dass wir mit Hund da waren, denn bei den 3 anderen Tischen waren ebenfalls Hunde dabei. Die Vorspeisen waren gut, daher 2 Sterne fürs Essen. Die Hauptspeisen waren nicht gut: Die Champignonrahmschnitzel waren eher durchschnittlich, wie in einem Schnellrestaurant. Der Sauerbraten: Kochbeutelknödel mit einem großen Berg Rotkohl daneben, darin versteckt ein paar Stücke Fleisch. Das Leckere am Sauerbraten ist für mich die Sauce, die gab es nicht. Der Nachtisch: Creme Brulee, kam nach einer Ewigkeit, allerdings nur 1 statt 2 Portionen. Die obere Kruste war keine Kruste, sondern nur leicht angebräunt, alles matschig. Angeblich war die Kartusche vom Brenner leer, daher nur 1 Portion, die aber auch keine feste Kruste hatte. Alles in allem eine ganz große Enttäuschung! Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Wir waren im Winter dort essen also ist die Aussenterasse nicht in der Bewertung. Innenraum: Positiv: - Der Innenraum ist sehr ambiente geschaltet. Man sitzt gemütlich auf Couch oder Bank und es ist wirklich sauber. Neutral: - Die Musik mit der Werbung passt überhaupt nicht da hin. Negativ: - Sehr laut. Wir haben uns gefühlt wie in einer Mensa. Es waren 2 10er Gruppen anwesend und es war so laut, dass meine Begleitung und ich, die mir 50cm gegenüber sitzt, uns regelrecht anschreien mussten. Wir haben die Bedienung kaum verstanden und die uns auch nicht - Es gibt keine Wände zw. den einzelnen sitzen, dass man ein kleines bisschen Ruhe hat. Das ist kein gemütliches Essen. Essen: Positiv: - Einfach lecker und die Portion hat auch eine ordentliche Größe. Man wird satt - Schön angerichtet - Zweitbeste Ajoli meines Lebens Neutral: / Negativ: - An Feiertagen gilt das Tagesangebot nicht. - Es gab nicht mehr alles was auf der Speisekarte angeboten wurde. Service: Positiv: - Service ist auf Zack und super freundlich. - Man versucht echt alles um den Gast zufrieden zu stellen. Obwohl es eigene Speisen nicht mehr gab wurden wir super abgeholt und man hat und Alternativen vorgeschlagen und ist wirklich auf uns eingegangen Neutral: - Leicht vergesslich Negativ: / Preislich: Positiv: / Neutral: - Manche Speisen sind extrem teuer wie z.B. der Nachtisch. 21,80€ für 2x Nachtisch ist extrem hochpreisig. Gedanklich kann ich mein Auto halb voll tanken. Dann verzichtet man lieber. Negativ: / 4* sind echt fair und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Unbedingt, gerade am Wochenende, einen Tisch vorbestellen! Da der Laden am Samstag eigentlich immer sehr voll ist, ist es auch entsprechend laut.

Eigentlich waren wir hier immer gerne Gast. Dies Mal allerdings, war ich sehr enttäuscht. Zum Einen hatte ich vorab Email Kontakt mit dem Samannshof. Der reservierte Tisch sollte etwas dekoriert werden, da meine Ma Geburtstag hatte - war leider nicht der Fall, obwoh es hierzu eine Zusage gab. Zum Anderen gab es zerknickte, dreckige und nasse Speisekarten. Zu guter Letzt waren die Kroketten bei 2 Gerichten nicht annähernd gar. Auch wenn der Kellner sich zum Schluss wirklich bemüht hat um uns entgegen zu kommen, muss ich sagen, dass Service und Co. mal besser waren. Schade.

Nach einer langen Fahrt kamen wir ausgehungert an. Wir äußern dies auch. Es ist voll. Egal, wir wurden nach KEINER Wartezeit verwöhnt. Danke. Leckerer Wein, gutes Essen. In einem angenehmen Ambiente. Hier hat sich in den letzten Jahren viel getan. Ich hoffe ihr macht weiter so.

Samanshof hat einen neuen Besitzer! Wir hatten ein Gutschein gehabt und wollten wir einlösen aber Gutschein werde nicht angenommen!!! Also die Gutscheine von letztes Jahr könnt ihr wegschmeißen! Traurig 😞

Tolle Location und leckeres Essen. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich. Jedoch ist es ungünstig am Ende eines Abends erst zu verkünden, dass keine EC Kartenzahlung möglich ist. Hier denken wir, wäre es am besten so früh wie möglich darüber zu informieren. Wenn man es weiß, gibt es immerhin keine Verlegenheit wenn man dann nicht weiß wie man jetzt bezahlen soll.

Sehr schickes Lokal mit super Menüauswahl, leider von und aus zu weit weg, sonst würden wir öfter kommen !

Ein sehr schönes, ein bißchen verstecktes, Restaurant im Wald bei Neukirchen-Vluyn. Sehr schönes Ambiente und ein toller Außenbereich für den Frühling und Sommer. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wieder einmal sehr gutes Essen... der Service war bemüht der vielen Gäste gerecht zu werden. Einzig die laute Akustik ist ein wenig störend.

Ich und meine Familie haben ein kühles Bier und einen super leckeren Cheeseburger / Currywurst im Biergarten zu uns genommen. Das Ambiente lässt zum Wohlfühlen einladen. Das einzige was mich störte war die Arbeitskleidung des Jungen Mädchens, welches und bediente. Trotz das sie uns sehr freundlich gegenüber trat, fanden wir die türkise enge Hose, welche sie ohne Schürze trug äußert unangemessen. Auch war meine Schwiegertochter sehr pikiert darüber, dass sie während sie die Teller abstellte ihr Gesäß sehr provokant in Richtung meines Sohnes drehte. Vielleicht sollte man etwas auf solche Kleinigkeiten achten, denn gerade solche Dinge können sehr negativ auftreten. Alles in allem hatten wir bei euch trotzdem einen sehr schönen Tag.

Eigentlich sind Essen und Service sehr durchschnittlich! Es gibt einen schönen Terassenbereich, ein See mit der Möglichkeit zum Rudern und natürlich den Innenbereich des Restaurants. Leider ersetzt das Ambiente nicht die Qualität der Speisen…

Hier kann man nach einer Fahrrad Tour sehr gut etwas Trinken und Essen . Mit Auto geht das natürlich auch. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und machen einen guten Job. Der Biergarten und das Restaurant sind gemütlich eingerichtet ,Wir haben uns da wohlgefühlt . Ich kann den Samannshof weiter empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen, urige Atmosphäre. Hunde kein Problem. Vorher kann man eine schöne Gassirunde laufen im Staatsforst. Preis nicht so günstig, aber noch in Ordnung. Am Wochenende hat der Foodtruck offen. Chickenburger ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen vor Ort und wurden sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen hat uns allen gut geschmeckt, auch wenn die Portionen etwas größer hätten sein können. Preislich hat das Lokal angezogen, das merkt man auch an der Auswahl auf der Karte.
