Matcha tastes absolutely terrible. I ordered strawberry matcha (I got raspberry because they ran out of strawberries). Of course, there was no straw to stir the crap and make it any more bearable. Overall, it's extremely overpriced. Not real matcha. Also, every matcha was prepared in the exact same bowl, which looked extremely unhygienic and disgusting. I ordered the stuff at Connichi in Wiesbaden.

Absolutely terrible. It’s gentrified Asian food that’s also overpriced. Not only that, I found a bug in my food and when I told the server about it they didn’t offer a refund or a replacement. Will never be going back. Only leaving a review to warn people.

Super bowls, a healthy and clean alternative

Unfortunately, the salad wasn't any good. I didn't like the sauce (probably a matter of taste). For the price, I expected more freshness and quality. I hope the quality and freshness of the fish was better...

Simply the top-notch address for nutritious, healthy, and delicious sports food – simply fantastic! The consistently friendly, attentive service and the cozy atmosphere complete the overall experience. My recommendation: the Palm Bowl ;)

Hot rice on a 32°C plus day makes this one of the (no the) worst poke bowl I ever had...

The bowl was super delicious! A huge portion! The drink wasn't my cup of tea (pink drink).

You could order food directly to your table using your phone. Both our drinks were very mild. The matcha basically tasted like milk, and the lemonade, for five euros, was just water with two lemon slices. The food was tasty, but nothing special.

Great location, but the food was unfortunately terrible. Small portions, and some of the food wasn't fresh.

Because of the positive reviews, we ordered for pickup. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The bowls were incredibly small. The cute bowls were small plastic cups with barely any fruit on them. The chicken was burnt (inedible), and the avocado was mostly black because it had already been pre-cut and left out in the air. What a shame.

I've shopped here several times and there have been problems almost every time. For the price, it's simply not worth it for the tiny portions. I've ordered a smoothie bowl a few times. I have food intolerances and allergies, and nowhere does it mention granola or anything like that, yet they just throw it into the bowl without asking, even if I've said I can't eat something. At first, I thought maybe they'd just added it recently and hadn't updated the menu yet. But a lot of time has passed, and it still hasn't been noted.

Very expensive - I wouldn't have complained about the price if the staff had been more convincing, but the staff are listless, some of whom can't even smile, and the worst thing is that they gossip about you. If you gossip, please do so quietly and not so loudly that people can hear it. So definitely not a recommendation, ever again in my life, and an iced tea for €5 isn't even homemade, but from a bottle. I feel very sorry for the boss in this situation, he certainly doesn't know anything about it and is wondering why customers aren't coming back. In the restaurant industry, it's important to have returning customers, not one-offs. Don't see it as an attack, but as a suggestion for improvement.

€12 for a truly tiny açai bowl that essentially tastes like cocoa. Judging by the picture at Wolt, you'd at least get a large portion for that price, but what arrived was a tiny cup. A rip-off.

The bowls tasted okay, but nothing exceptional. Some ingredients, such as the giant red cabbage leaves, were rather awkward to eat – finely chopped cabbage would definitely have been more pleasant here. What we particularly missed: transparent allergen labeling when ordering online, especially for the sauces. This would be a great help, especially for people with intolerances. Overall, it's okay for a quick, healthy meal – with a few adjustments, the experience could be more rounded.

Saw it as a street food stand today and tried it out! Super delicious vegan bowl and a generous portion!

2.5/5 The acai was really nice and cold, which I thought was great 🎀 But the color and quantity didn't convince me. Too much of everything and too little acai 😔 That's why it was too dry for me 😭 Plus, it doesn't look like it does on Instagram 😭😭😭 Get something else instead 😔💓

I was here for the first time today and I'm thrilled. A good, healthy alternative to the well-known restaurants nearby. The staff was super friendly and gave me good advice. I put together a bowl myself, and it was delicious. There's a cute little outdoor terrace, which unfortunately wasn't very cozy due to the current construction/building renovation. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviews that the dishes are a bit on the expensive side. However, I think the portion sizes are perfect. I'll definitely be back! :-)

I visited here for the first time today on my friend's recommendation. It was the tastiest matcha I've had so far, and I've tried everything in Mainz. The staff were also super sweet and friendly. :)

The bowls are delicious, both savory and sweet. However, all the bowls used to be larger. The prices have increased, and the portions have gotten smaller. It's a shame! Otherwise, they're super delicious. The price/performance ratio isn't quite right.

Ich war in der Vergangenheit schon öfter hier essen und bisher eigentlich immer zufrieden – umso enttäuschender war mein letzter Besuch. Die Bowl war eine absolute Katastrophe: Das Essen kam eiskalt an, die Edamame-Bohnen waren noch tiefgefroren, das Eis wurde direkt in die Soße gelegt, was diese völlig verwässerte und das Hähnchen ebenfalls kalt machte. Das Gemüse war grob und lieblos reingeschnitten – keine Spur von frischer, liebevoller Zubereitung. Ich habe die Bedienung direkt darauf angesprochen, warum das Essen so kalt ist – aber anstatt einer Entschuldigung kam gar nichts. Kein Bedauern, kein Versuch der Wiedergutmachung – nur Gleichgültigkeit. Und das, obwohl sie sich später in der Küche auch noch über mich lustig gemacht hat, ohne zu merken, dass ich sie durch die Spiegelung an der Tür sehen konnte. Unhöflich, respektlos und völlig unprofessionell. Dazu kommt, dass die Preise für diese schlechte Qualität völlig überzogen sind – das war das Geld absolut nicht wert. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, gerade weil ich den Laden früher mochte. Meiner Meinung nach sollte das Personal dringend überdacht werden – wer seinen Job so wenig ernst nimmt, schadet dem gesamten Konzept. Eigentlich würde ich null Sterne vergeben, aber das ist leider nicht möglich – daher bleibt es bei einem einzigen Stern, und auch der nur mit schwerem Herzen. Definitiv mein letzter Besuch!

I would like to see a great restaurant with a great ordering system everywhere, then there would be no problems with a lack of staff in the service. Bowls are super delicious, I'll definitely be back. Recommended!

You have to wait for your order almost forever. Ice coffee served in broken glass. Food was not tasty. Not really recommended.

Food tastes delicious, but what are the portions for children? €18.50 for 4 pieces of chicken?! I was served the wrong drink. This store will never be there again!

My original review was: "Food is okay, but too expensive. Price-performance ratio just doesn't fit. Waiting time is super long." This was restricted in access by Google as allegedly “defamatory” – even though it was factual and purely subjective. After challenging, Google agreed with me. The one star is not only because of my experience there, but also because of the obvious censorship - regardless of who initiated it. If critical voices were to regularly disappear, this could distort evaluations and subsequently deceive people who rely on them.

Bowls great, but: The pancakes with berries are a bad joke; Instead of fresh berries you get a few dried berries. You really don't have to pay €11 for this - sorry!

Very tasty food and a friendly staff. Unfortunately, it has happened several times now that ingredients that were included in the bowl were missing from the food. For the price, something like this should be considered. Especially when you sometimes pay an extra €2 for ingredients.

We ordered the food to take away on site. The service welcomed us very friendly and gave us good advice. The bowls are very large. I only managed half of it myself and my friend also had something left over for the next day. Everything tasted very tasty.

We were absolutely thrilled. The service was totally friendly and accommodating and zero stress. We had the Cray Lover Bowl once and the Healthy Shark Bowl once. So delicious and we were really full afterwards. We will definitely come back 👍

The food is delicious, but €12.50 for a bowl is excessive. We only had vegan ingredients that weren't even labeled as organic. It was fairly filling for one person, so it was a good meal. What bothered me was that there were no more napkins and that the takeaway contained plastic parts, supposedly organic plastic and food made with love, so for €12.50 you can expect a little more in terms of sustainability concept, then it would be with a trendy product despite the taste of money printing a little easier for me as a customer to swallow.

Cool bowl shop! It tasted very good and the atmosphere was nice. This is what we ordered: Crazy Lover Bowl, Avocado Heaven Toast and Happy Tree Bowl. As well as the homemade iced tea 👌

Unfortunately, the Poké Bowls didn't convince me at all. The sauces and therefore the whole bowl were very untasteful and unseasoned. The price-performance ratio was also absolutely unjustified, on the one hand because of the portion size and on the other hand because of the mediocre components. The infused fruit water was also very disappointing as we were simply served a glass of fizz and a few raspberries/lemon slices. The service, on the other hand, was very nice, friendly employees and very accommodating.

The service was friendly and helpful in answering my questions (I couldn't do much with the names of the sauces). The atmosphere was quite pleasant and I was able to enjoy my meal in peace. I was completely impressed by the Palm Bowls Restaurant in Mainz! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you immediately notice that the emphasis here is on a modern, but at the same time cozy atmosphere. The furnishings are stylish and the open design contributes to a welcoming ambience. The highlight of the restaurant is definitely the diverse and creative menu. The bowls are freshly prepared, varied and absolutely tasteful. No matter whether you choose a savory, salty bowl or a sweet version - every choice is a taste explosion. I particularly liked the option of putting together the ingredients individually, which makes the whole thing even more personal. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is also good. Whether for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends – Palm Bowls is definitely a top address in Mainz. I can only recommend it and will definitely come back soon!
