Golden Grill in Mainz

Bad service, bad delivery, and very stupid. I ordered Bamya and instead got biryani, which didn't even taste good. I called and they told me seriously, "Bring back the biryani and you'll get your Bamya." Therefore, never order from this shop again.

Their chicken is really amazingly delicious.

A place for a quick bite to eat. Good value for money. The atmosphere could be more comfortable.

Unfortunately, the hunter's schnitzel was really not tasty. The hunter's sauce had more onions than mushrooms and tasted rather sweet, which, in my opinion, doesn't speak volumes about a good hunter's sauce. Furthermore, they were very sparing with the sauce, and the schnitzel itself was probably a chicken schnitzel rather than a pork schnitzel, which unfortunately wasn't clear when ordering.

Now for the 5 stars I promised the chef, whom I really like. The chicken...😋

Delicious currywurst with a delicious curry sauce, the fries are nice and fresh and crispy – simply perfect! We really enjoyed it. Out of hospitality, they offered us a small glass of black tea. Thank you very much🙏

I could eat here every day: my favorite is the cheeseburger menu, friendly staff, super nice boss, since he opened we've only eaten at his place!

I was completely impressed by the Golden Grill in Mainz! The food not only tasted excellent, but was also visually appealing. The grilled meat, in particular, was cooked to perfection and wonderfully seasoned – you can immediately taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The service was also excellent: friendly, attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or family. A real highlight in Mainz – I'll definitely be back!

Very delicious food and super nice people. It was a hot day. Four of us were there and shared a plate of fries. When we were almost finished, we were given a fresh portion for free. Super sweet!

The first and last time I ate here. An incredibly large menu that can only be managed if all the dishes are prepared. My schnitzel came from the freezer and was of terrible quality and felt like it was prepared in the deep fryer. When the plate was served I couldn't find any schnitzel at first. It was covered in a kind of pepper sauce, the plate covered to the edge with an almost transparent, sticky-sweet, thick mass with tiny pieces of pepper. That's not possible and unfortunately my health wasn't going well when I got home. Never again!

Disappointing service – no longer recommended I was in this restaurant on March 12, 2025 and unfortunately had a very bad experience. Instead of taking care of the customers, the employee was busy rearranging furniture. I waited patiently for five minutes, but there was no response - neither a greeting nor an inquiry if I would like to be served. I left the restaurant disappointed and angry. I have been a regular customer and shopped here three times a week. Unfortunately, this incident has left me looking for a new restaurant that takes customer service seriously. I hope management reads this review and trains their staff better. “It's getting bolder these days - less service, more expensive prices. Get less, but pay more. This is just ridiculous.”

I was in Mainz for a day and had a craving for burgers. So we went to the Golden Grill. Unfortunately I have to say that I didn't think it was that great. I found the meat to be quite dry and much smaller than the bread. The cheese wasn't really my thing either. You can eat it, but I don't need it again.

Were there for the first time yesterday, it tasted great, I haven't eaten such good fries in a long time, and the chicken was super tasty.

Cool and halal restaurant in Mainz. You can get burgers, salads, chicken, fries and rice here. Prices are a bit high but inflation plays a role. You can get space inside as well as outside. You can pay in cash and by card (EC and credit cards). The store is usually full, so you have to take your time.

Unser Lieblingsladen in Mainz. Egal welches Gericht man wählt, es schmeckt einfach immer Super gut hier. Alles sehr gut gewürzt und das Fleisch ist immer frisch und zart, egal welche Sorte. Die Mitarbeiter sind auch stets sehr freundlich und herzlich. Liegt ziemlich zentral in der Stadt. Man findet hier auch immer einen Platz. Sooo viele Gründe immer wieder zu kommen. I love it!

Wir waren zu 5. da. Das Essen wahr sehr lecker und hat uns alle satt gemacht. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und haben uns das essen schnell (in ca. 10 min) serviert. Preis Leistungsverhältnis Top! Pommes waren auch sehr lecker und mit der Menge auf dem Teller war jeder zufrieden. Genauso waren die Toiletten auch sehr hygienisch und sauber. Insgesamt ein Top Restaurant und die Mitarbeiter gehen sehr gerne auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein.

Essen (Cheeseburger) war voll gut. Nichts Neues, genau das Selbe wie nebenan beim Palmengrill. Service auch gut und freundlich. Leider nerven die Tauben, die unter den Stühlen gehen und über die Tische fliegen.

Gemütlich. Super Rotisserie-Hähnchen. Gut gefallen hat mir auch, dass es eine leckere Hot Sauce dazu gab.

Dort waren alle sehr lieb und nett. Essen war gut und ging relativ schnell. Auch abends hat’s es frisch geschmeckt. Chicken Burger war sehr lecker. Die Curry Wurst auch. Pommes waren sehr gut. Menü 9€. Wird weiterempfohlen :)

Hatte Hähnchenkeule mit Pommes und Salat bestellt. Hähnchen waren sehr saftig und gut gewürzt, die Pommes knusprig und der Salat war vielfältig und frisch. 12,50 mit Getränk und angemessene Preise. Auch der Inhaber war sehr nett.

Lassen Sie die Finger von den Burgern. Tk-Convenience Patties zu aufgeblasenen Preisen. Pommes waren knackig und frisch, Hähnchen sehen auch gut aus. Nochmal kommen wir aber nicht wieder.

Ich hatte heute ein sehr leckeres halbes Hähnchen mit Pommes. Das Hähnchen war super zart, aber noch saftig und gut gewürzt. Die Pommes hätten vielleicht 30 Sekunden mehr in der Fritteuse vertragen, oder aber etwas heißeres Fett. Insgesamt aber sehr lecker.

Man wartet nur 10 Minuten und die Preise sind okay

Cheeseburger mal wieder total vollgesudelt, einfach toll! Über den halben Gockel brauchen garnicht groß schnacken, total wuselig und bruddal. Der Otto war nach dem traumhaften Gaumenschmaus absolut flott unterwegs aber gar kein Problem weil die Ecke neber der Sparda Bank in der Nähe hat mir für den Stuhlgang perfekten Unterschlupf geboten.👍 Minuspunkt für den nicht akkuraten Namen, der Grill schien mir so als wäre er einfach aus Stahl.😠(Bitte ändern)

War gestern glaub zum ersten Mal essen dort mit meinem Kumpel gewesen und bei der bestellten Speise im Hamburger war mehr Salat als Fleisch gewesen und die Pommes viel zu trocken und hart einfach. Ich wollte durch das Fernseh mit Kumpel auch Fußballspiel Niederlande gegen Argentinien schauen, aber nach Halbzeit haben die Mitarbeiter Übertragung ausgeschaltet, weil die früher Feierabend machen wollten und das war gegen 21 Uhr. Sie sagten aber, dass es technische Probleme wie mit Internetempfang so wäre. Mitarbeiter waren aber noch nett zu uns Gästen.

Es hat richtig lecker geschmeckt, ich habe mir ein ½ Hänchen mit Pommes (7,60 €) bestellt. Die Haut war schön knusprig und das Fleisch hat auch gut geschmeckt, die Pommes waren schön knusprig und von innen noch weich, so wie Pommes sein sollten. Und ja ich würde dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!!
