Padme Hum - Asian Vegan Restaurant München in München

Very good food with all kinds of meat, a large menu with noodles, rice, and sushi. Super friendly servers and a cozy atmosphere.

There were 13 of us dining at this restaurant. The place isn’t very big, but it’s not small either. The atmosphere was nice and quite lively! We asked the staff which dishes could be made without any alliums. After getting the information, we ordered a wide variety of dishes. The food was very well-seasoned and had layers of flavor—something I don’t often experience at many restaurants. It was just a bit too salty for my taste, but overall, everything was very delicious!

The atmosphere is very calm. The food served is also quite enjoyable. Maybe it's better when salt and pepper are provided on the table. The drinks are delicious. The waiter is friendly.

We arrived at 22:15 and they close at 23:00, but nevertheless we received a very warm welcome. We could still order something to eat. We chose the avocado salad and the sushi menu for two. We had mango lassi to drink. In can really recommend all the dishes and also the lassi. Everything looked great and tasted amazing! The prices are a bit high, but you get enough food for the money. Unfortunately they don’t take credit card. Much better than traditional sushi places! The staff was very friendly and took very good care of us. You should definitely try this restaurant.

Five of us went there for dinner and overall we were very satisfied. The dishes were well seasoned and the vegan sushi was delicious in varied combinations. The vegan alternatives, such as duck and tuna, were great, but you can also find many dishes without such “substitutes”. There is also a great selection of different drinks, such as homemade lemonade. However, the salad added to the dishes was not fresh and was dried out, which should have been seen in the kitchen and is not ok given the prices. In our opinion the menu was a bit too big, which made it a bit confusing. The service was very friendly.

Visited for the third time within two weeks and enjoyed both the inexpensive lunch and dishes from the menu. The great variety and very high quality of the vegan dishes really appeal to my family and me. My favorites are the baked squid rings and the roasted duck with peanut sauce. When it comes to drinks, the homemade lemonades are a real treat for the eyes and the palate. The service is very quick and wonderfully attentive. We would be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend the Palme Hum

The best vegan sushi in Munich! My drink “Elderflower Refresher” was sooo extremely tasty ❤️ I can really recommend it. The sushi was served very decoratively and visually appealing. The taste was really incredibly good! ✨ The ambience is incredibly beautiful and everything is covered in a pleasant reddish tone. The employees are very, very friendly and quick! All in all it was a wonderful experience and I will eat here more often from now on 🥰❤️

The food was incredibly tasty, the portion was huge and considering it was the middle of Munich, it was relatively quiet in the area. Service was 10/10, very nice people, would recommend :)

Last night my girlfriend and I had dinner at "Padme Hum". The place was pretty empty (Easter weekend), so we can't confirm the comments about the long wait. Our first impression was great, the restaurant is nicely decorated and pleasantly lit. Our waitress was super friendly, informed us right from the start that we could only pay in cash and gave us enough time to choose the dishes. He also kept asking us how we liked the food. The starter (vegetarian satay skewers) was a delight! The main course - various sushi - was also incredibly tasty. The food was also very lovingly prepared. When it comes to the price-performance ratio, we can only say that the prices are fair. If we are in Munich again, we will definitely eat here again!

I was there for the first time yesterday and I was thrilled. The food was great and the atmosphere was very nice, the waiter who served us was super nice! Clear recommendation to eat here. Gladly again!

An absolute must for anyone who loves red curry!👍😋 For me, it was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and with the variety of vegetables, it was simply delicious! The only downside for the ambience is that the air was extremely stale.

When we ordered just a starter platter and two homemade lemonades, we were initially given a few strange looks 😂. It felt like we had ordered far too little, but based on the price, we had expected more choice. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food was delicious, but also very expensive. The lemonades were also delicious.

Sensationally good! The food and drinks were deliciously delicious. With 2 people we had 3 starters, 2 main courses and the crispy mango as dessert. Absolute recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

Everything fits here. From the nice service to the great ambience to the fantastic food. We had sushi as a starter and rice with curry and vegan shrimp or peanut sauce with vegan duck as a main course. Everything was extremely tasty.

For the price the taste wasn't very good and seemed very salty. For this price I would have expected something more unusual. Payment was only possible with PayPal and cash.

We love the pancake as an appetizer! I could eat it every day, it's addictive. Otherwise you should try your hand across the menu. I prefer the dishes with fish alternatives. There is also a large selection of sushi variations. Sometimes there can be longer wait times on weekends, so it's always best to reserve in advance. The service is very attentive and always very friendly despite the stress. We also like the uncomplicated, cashless payment via PayPal.

Really interesting interiors, I found it dark on first impression, but it got better. The food was really good, big portions and really delicious. All vegan, so flavorful and colorful. My noodles were just a little salty, I didn't get a drink and maybe that could have helped. The waiter was really kind and patient, he explained us the menu with suggestions of dishes to try. My friend and I didn't had cash, and the restaurant accepted payment via PayPal.

Great selection of vegan dishes and really nice and exemplary service, we have rarely been served so politely. Unfortunately, we think the sushi prices are too high, especially since the sushi tastes good, but not great. The starters, however, were without exception delicious.

Good place to eat, totally vegan menu, very bad service, it took a long time to take our order as well as to bring the drinks and food, they only had one waiter serving all the tables which I think is terrible, the food was very delicious but The portions seemed small for the price paid. I won't come back again

Very nice restaurant with wonderful food! The kitchen is really sensational! It was all so delicious! We can particularly recommend the Little Sunrise Mocktail 🥰 the main course was pure enjoyment but the desserts really blew us away. I had mango in glutinous rice and my husband had banana, and both were delicious! Our waiter was super sweet and very polite 😁 we had a great evening, thank you very much for that ❤️

Nicely decorated place with a very cozy atmosphere and stylish ambiance. Unfortunately, it feels like there are 3-4 tables too many in this place which takes away some privacy as one sits very close to the next table. The night we visited, service was done by 2 people only, who tried their best and were always kind and polite - however, with so many tables to cover, service naturally suffers a bit. On the culinary side, we very much enjoyed our visit. There is an extensive menu to choose from, and everything we ordered was very well prepared. Taste, quality and quantity matched the price.

I have never eaten vegan so well in my life! I had vegan duck in coconut-mango sauce and what can I say? It really tasted like duck! In general it was an incredibly beautiful experience. The service was fabulous - the people there are really friendly and accommodating. I felt very comfortable. The restaurant will definitely see me again, that's for sure! A clear recommendation from me.

Padme Hum is an absolute highlight for lovers of Asian, vegan cuisine! The dishes were incredibly delicious – fresh, creative and perfectly balanced in terms of taste. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which further enriched the stay. It did get a little louder as the restaurant got fuller, but that was still completely acceptable. We would definitely like to come back and can only recommend it!

I've been there twice now and I have to say, both the service and the food there are really great. The staff is really very friendly, very hard working and I felt like I was in good hands there as a guest. Portions are really plentiful, prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is also nice. We made a spontaneous reservation for Saturday evening and everything worked out wonderfully! The employees are super friendly and warm, you feel very welcome. Even though it was quite busy, our food came in a reasonable time and we didn't have to wait too long. The portions are large and our selection was great (rice with peanut sauce and tofu, rice with mango sauce and vegan chicken). We were very satisfied, lots of vegetables, delicious sauce and the tofu was also very tasty. What was particularly cute was how lovely the drinks were topped with pomegranate seeds. Unfortunately we were only in Munich for the weekend, but we would definitely come back!

It is unbelievable how vegan food can be so tasty! My favourite here are: spring rolls, rice with tofu and Erdnuss sauce; mango lassi

Best vegan sushi I've eaten so far. The vegan salmon (Dragon Royal) is almost scary real - it just tastes like salmon sushi! Incredible. The other dishes (e.g. banh bao) were also great. And of course everything is beautifully prepared. The waiter was also incredibly nice and accommodating. I will definitely come back and will recommend this restaurant everywhere <3

Insanely creative vegan dishes and exciting vegan homemade meat and fish imitations: pork belly, surimi, caviar, etc. All extremely good! The flavors are all well coordinated and the dishes and drinks are beautifully presented. The atmosphere was chic and the service was attentive. All in all a great restaurant 🙌🏻✨️

Food was excellent... Here you get a whole new perspective on original Asian-vegetarian cuisine. We ate an appetizer plate for two people which was terrific. The main courses were vegan curry chicken and a vegetarian pork belly...brilliant!!! I would like to mention the incredibly nice and very friendly service, plus the Buddha-style restaurant... a great evening. Thanks to the team!!

There were three of us there. It was super tasty and, above all, everything was vegan. Staff was totally friendly.

The atmosphere is very, very nice and cozy. The food is beautifully prepared and you can see that effort has been put into it. It was very tasty, even though I don't really like vegan food. So I was very positively surprised.

I ate the avocado salad (#17 on the menu) and was very satisfied. The salad wasn't dry because of the delicious sauce and was a good size. It was also very nicely presented, which really appealed to me. The ambience of the restaurant is appropriate and very pleasant. The food was ready quickly. Next time I'm in Munich, I'll be back!

The ambience and service were great. The food came very quickly, served on really beautiful and unusual platters. The appetizer platter for 2 people was super tasty with 5-6 different appetizers. The crunchy roll sushi was delicious but they were very small rolls and at €11 with only vegan chicken without vegetables etc. a bit expensive. For the national dish Bun Cha La Lot, the sauce wasn't flavorful enough for me. I've eaten this dish better elsewhere and there was more acidity and generally more flavor there. Overall, everything was still delicious and I would definitely come back a second time to try other dishes.

First of all, nice restaurant and good food with creative implementation (e.g. dry ice as a decorative experience). However, the service fails...long waiting times, etc. When the waiter blamed the mistake he made (the wrong salad) on the trainee, even though he wasn't actively serving us, you could only be surprised. In addition, a dish that was described on the menu without peanuts was ultimately served with peanuts - please note in the future that not showing peanuts can cause severe allergic reactions, so please write them on the menu with the dish! Conclusion: worth a visit!

A culinary and visual feast for the eyes! All your senses get their money’s worth here! Service great, service greatx food great! This restaurant has made Munich more attractive for a reason! Only recommended!

Very, very tasty, lots of choice and purely vegan - we love it. In addition, the Buddhist philosophy that the local carries is really a dream ❤️ the staff was super nice, the music was also changed upon request (at Oktoberfest time they also play Oktoberfest music there, in my opinion it doesn't fit the ambience and feeling at all) I will definitely go here again :)

Good food, but average in taste. For me, it was not really intense in taste. There are definitely better places in Munich. But I recommend this place, if’s completely vegan. Gluten-free options are also possible, staff is friendly.

The food is more delicious than expected. I recommend the mixed vermicelli dish. The service staff is enthusiastic and friendly. I will come back many more times.

The selection of sushi, main courses and starters is very large and we couldn't decide. Everything we tried (there were four of us) was really delicious. The drinks were great too! The restaurant is highly recommended even for non-vegans. Of course a paradise for vegans. The prices are a bit expensive, but you really get something for your money. So good value for money. Everything was also very nicely prepared. We'd love to come back. :)

Die Auswahl an Sushi und Hauptgerichten, sowie Vorspeisen ist sehr groß und wir konnten uns gar nicht entscheiden. Alles, was wir probiert haben (wir waren zu viert) war wirklich sehr lecker. Auch die Getränke waren super! Selbst für Nicht-Veganer ist das Restaurant wirklich empfehlenswert. Für Veganer natürlich ein Paradies. Die Preise sind etwas teuer, wobei man auch wirklich was für sein Geld bekommt. Also ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Alles war auch sehr schön angerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder. :)

What a find! We spent a month travelling Europe and agreed this was the favourite restaurant of the trip. My husband (who is not vegan, and eats a lot of sushi) said this was the best sushi he has ever had. Super flavoursome, we also had a couple of starters which were tasty. Staff were friendly too. Highly, highly recommend - vegan or not!

These Asian dishes are super cool and 100% vegan. Unfortunately, some of the alternatives to salmon, tuna or shrimp don't taste like much. The idea is great and many of the dishes are delicious too. The price is also on the higher side.

Tolle Karte, die so viel zum Probieren bietet, dass einmal kommen nicht ausreicht :-) Alles vegan und frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
