P. Weiß in Lichtenfels

A very basic hotel. No grand luxuries like you'd expect from a traditional country inn. It's the only inn in Reundorf. The food is very good value for money and tastes great. There's a good selection of fresh draft beers. Most of the rooms have been renovated. A standard room without a balcony costs around €100 for a double room. Breakfast doesn't offer a huge selection. The sauna can be used for €6. The main tourist attractions are easily accessible on foot.

The food was delicious, and we even got a table at short notice. We'd love to come back.

The atmosphere is reminiscent of a 1970s train station restaurant. The food was unappetizing, and I sent it back after the first bite. When I asked if I could get a receipt, as is customary, the two owners spent a quarter of an hour searching for a receipt book. There was no receipt... unbelievable, but ultimately their problem. I certainly won't be going back.

The food is actually good and reasonably priced, but the opening hours aren't accurate, both online and in person. We drove to Lichtenfels specifically for La Nave, but we weren't allowed in at 9 p.m., despite the shop supposedly closing at 10 p.m.

Very good Italian food - great service and beautiful terrace.
