Öz Urfa Restaurant Café in Duisburg

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. The service was inattentive and we had to wait a long time before we could even order. The food arrived lukewarm and the taste was far from what we expected.

My family and I have eaten at this restaurant several times. Unfortunately, last weekend the food not only came very late, but was also not of good quality. The bread was cold and stale. The Adana kebab was very small and not well prepared. I don't think we will come here again!

The meat of the doner was fatty, the iskender was without butter, the pita was stale, the meat was hard and tasteless. Adana wasn't bad.

Terrible service, we almost got beaten, the waiters were ready yesterday, they were understanding, except the waiters had long hair.

I was there this evening with my siblings, a super nice lady took care of our table, super nice, very quick... a big thank you to you. The food is OK, the employees don't speak German. Only one waiter understands German, but he constantly looks at his cell phone instead of paying attention to the guests. The restaurant is quite nice. The employees do all their work so loudly that they disturb the customers (e.g. the kitchen door is not closed)

We have been eating here for 15 years and they recently renovated to provide more space options. Most of the time we eat grilled plates with fries and lahmacun in this restaurant and we really love it! The *meat* is incredibly tender and grilled to perfection – simply a delight! It was well seasoned, juicy and had a great grilled flavor. The *fries* were also crispy and fresh, which rounded off the dish wonderfully. Unfortunately, the Lahmacun no longer tastes like it used to, but it still tastes good. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. Just a little too loud and the seating on the walls a bit uncomfortable. They were already settled in. I can only recommend this restaurant if you fancy *tasty, high-quality grilled meat*. We will definitely come back

The long-haired waiter washed all the waiters. They gather their acquaintances or friends to the table and circle around them. The other customers do not matter. Let them wait. The waiters choose the customers. And they choose them openly, without hiding or hiding. While appetizers and salads were served to the table next to us and the tables opposite us, they were not given to us. I asked the long-haired gorson why they were not given to us. He made fun of my mind. He said that lamb is served on skewers and is not served to small orders. It had to be a large order. We had to order it for 3-4 people or on a tray. You know, salad and appetizers were served free of charge along with the grill? I almost apologized to the waiters for coming to eat.

The fries were very dry and there were 3-4 pieces of kuzu skewer chicken skewer. Ate more bread and salad. I think they got more from us. But since we were already outside, I didn't go back in to ask what they charged us because we won't be going there again.

You cannot withdraw money there, you have to walk 125 m to withdraw money and walk back to pay!!

It's a real disappointment, they are trying to sell lahmacun without meat as having meat in it, they wrap the doner bread in aluminum and press it in the toaster. After eating as a family, we all had diarrhea and couldn't go to the toilet for 2 days. They bring the straw open. Those who care about their health won't go there.

No real taste. Tomatoes, cucumbers and so on have no taste. They just don't taste like anything. Doesn't even notice that these foods are there. Me and my daughter only ate half of it because we were hungry. The youngest daughter only ordered fries and was very happy with them. Service was in good. The only thing that bothered me was that the menu had been taken away again. It would be good if you left at least one card on the table. The ambience is great (we really liked it anyway). To all café/restaurant operators...please buy food with taste. A tomato should taste like a tomato and not like water...this applies to all foods. I was here for the first time and I think for the last time...simply because everything tasted like nothing...Of course I only tried one dish...maybe the other dishes are great...me I don't know and I don't want to find out anymore. We decided to have dinner as a family on the road at night, it has nothing to do with Ada! A meat that stretches like a belt with only baking soda added to the salt. One side is fried, there is a quarter to burn, the other side is raw, completely amateurish! Staff Lay Lay Lom comes to the table and leaves, opens his mouth, not a word, here you go, bon appetit, not a word! I don't think you should come unless you have to. It's been 25 minutes, empty plates in front of us, zero interest!

So the service was really very good 👍 The food was good. Meze was little. The ambience wasn't that great... we got warm after a while... is there no climate? If there was air conditioning...it definitely didn't feel like it. We occasionally eat there on birthdays. It will stay that way.

My friend and I ordered a grill plate and beyti. The grill plate has a proud price of €26 - so we expect the dish to live up to the price. Unfortunately this was not the case. The portion for 26€ is much too small (Adana skewer very thin, the pieces of meat are extremely small and a piece of lamb chop, half a tomato, salad only made from onions - no kofta or kebab meat, no beaver, no meze), and the taste of the meat is not convincing either can. My Beyti tasted ok, I've eaten better. The meat was also kept very discreet. At the table next to us we wanted another portion of meze, the waiter first said no and then “as an exception” brought something to the table - people, that's just a blob of yoghurt. Generosity wins guests! Let's move on to cleanliness: The salt and pepper shakers were completely greasy, there were lots of stains on the black wall - they really need to be cleaned! You can't feel comfortable like that. Service: My friend's food came first...I had to wait. However, nothing came...the waiters who noticed it weren't interested either. It wasn't until someone in a managerial position noticed this that my food was taken care of. Our plates were not cleared away even though we were clearly no longer eating. We wanted to order another tea, but no one came, so we got up and paid. Only then was our table cleared. All in all, it wasn't a nice evening for you. We wouldn't come again.

I was here a couple of years ago and was not satisfied with the foodquality/service. This time i went to a newly renovated restaurant and was stunned by the quality and service. A very nice interior, good service and high quality food. The beyti kebab was really delicious, possible one of the best i ever ate. The menu is various and for everybody a option. We paid around 140 euro’s for 4 main courses, and 3 kids menu’s with drinks. Very reasonable these times.

Poor service. The meat was ready for the trash can. Putting something like that in front of someone and wanting to get paid for it is outrageous.

Eating is fine. Not very special. Friendly and helpful staff with a smile. Centrally located restaurant. They can clean toilets more often.

They have delicious food here but the service leaves a lot to be desired, the last meal came when the first 2 of 7 were already finished. The fries came after half the meal had already been eaten. This is definitely better. In the heat, people are too stingy to turn on the air conditioning. When asked, they opened the windows a little wider, but of course that didn't help. We'll be out again as quickly as we can. It's much more pleasant outside because there's a light wind.

Delicious as always but some staff are rude.

I just wanted to order a kebab, but I got a bread that wasn't fresh at all. The kebab meat in it was still pretty raw. I asked for the kebab to be remade for me. But the second order was even more disappointing: this time I got less meat, which was of course raw again, and bread that was even worse. I can only recommend the store to people who want to throw away their money and get a stomach bug.

The best restaurant in all of Marxloh

Two cubed pitas, two ayran, 27.50 yuhhh, they took money for tea, we couldn't eat the pitas, they were dry like wood, they would break our heads, and we didn't have cash, we wanted to pay by card, they don't accept payment by card, so they are avoiding taxes. Oh, and Sparkasse is not around, we went to the bank to withdraw money, 8 km away. They took our ID, I left my iPhone 15, they said enough was enough, we almost did the dishes, they are very rude, there is no post machine, they kind of make you go around looking for a bank after dinner, shame on you, humanity is over, repentance, marxhol veseler Str if I shop in Turks.

Iskender is an item that looks like meat, it's pita with kubasi, it's actually pita with tomato paste. The service is good, but the food quality is a bit low.

Mixed starter a joke - 3 x dollops of spread (other guests obviously got it for free) and a mini salad? A plastic cup of Ayran with a plastic straw costs 2.30 euros? Pay only at the checkout? Cannot correct an order? Sorry, it works better in every snack bar. A little tip: You shouldn't look into the corners of the toilet. E gross.

Disgraceful service and the food was cold and dry

To be honest, what was going on there just doesn't work at all. NO STAR DESERVED! We just asked for an extra yogurt sauce with our dinner. We were given three plates of yogurt. We were then charged €11.00 and an additional €5.50 at the checkout without even mentioning beforehand that a yoghurt plate costs extra! As a woman, I was shamelessly forced to pay the amount at the checkout. Never this store again!!!

A thousand times, everyone who was sitting in the restaurant was asked publicly who ordered this, who ordered this. I understand everything, we are all just human but being lied to is not possible!! I ordered a cheesecake and a coffee at the counter because I saw that there was a lot going on there. The waiter then told me that I had to report to the other waiters myself and go to them. I then told him that he could please forward it to his colleagues, as I didn't want to chase after it as a customer. At around 7:55 p.m. I asked him. Then around 8:02 p.m. another customer came and had also ordered a cake. Your wish was immediately granted. Afterwards we unfortunately had to wait a long time, about 30 minutes, even though we only had 1 grill plate, 3 kebab plates and a salad. Unfortunately, an order arrived incorrectly. The food tastes very tasty. But the prices are steep. 26 euros for a grill plate with really little meat. The large appetizer platter consisted of 4 dips for 10 euros. That's very misleading. We sat for over an hour without even being asked for new drinks. It's a shame...it was better before the renovation! No card payment which is bad...but not even pointing this out when ordering is even worse.
