An attentive and super friendly team provided us with a wonderful evening and delicious food.

The restaurant has potential, and the food used to taste really good. However, the portions have become significantly smaller – you see more plates than actual food. For the price, I would have expected a more reasonable amount, especially for side dishes like rice, which are usually prepared in larger quantities. It's a shame, because there are many alternatives in the area, and value for money is very important, especially when you're hungry and want to eat at a restaurant rather than a fast-food joint. Because of the portion sizes, I won't be returning to this restaurant for the time being. I hope, however, that they improve this, because the quality of the food is actually worth it.

We wanted to have breakfast and found the doors closed just before 9:00! The opening hours listed on all social media and on Google are incorrect. We visited Alaadin Ocakbaşı on September 13, 2025, and were disappointed from start to finish. • Service: Hardly any staff were visible; the few that were there seemed overwhelmed and stressed. Unfortunately, it's deteriorated considerably. We ordered as usual, but this time the appetizers were missing – apparently, they're only served on a whim these days. The lamb arrived cold and was inedible. Furthermore, the food was only delivered in pieces, which further detracted from the overall impression. The service and quality used to be much better.

Unfortunately, this is the second time we have to report a disappointing experience. On our first visit, for which we traveled from Cologne, our reservation couldn't be found on-site. We were accused of not having made a reservation, which we found highly inappropriate. After all, we wouldn't drive 75 km without checking that there was a table for us, as there were five of us. Furthermore, the service that evening was extremely unfriendly, and it seemed as if they had a personal problem with us; the whole situation was simply unpleasant. Nevertheless, the food was excellent, so we decided to give the restaurant a second chance, this time with seven people. Here, too, we had reserved for 6:00 p.m., arrived at 6:05 p.m., only to find that our table had already been taken. We didn't want to engage in any further discussions or wait this time, so we moved on to Rüya Café & Restaurant instead.

I had Adana and I didn't like it. The service was worthless anyway. We finished our meals and 20 minutes passed without a single waiter coming to ask, "What would you like to drink?" or anything like that. They didn't even clear the table. It was really sad.

(Unkempt hands, fingernails). I had to get the waiter from his table because he was too busy on his phone to notice me. He served me our food in an unhygienic manner. He placed the plate with my order on the bread and brought it to me like that. When I pointed out to him that the plates are placed all over the counters and tables and that it was unhygienic to place them on the bread, he said they always do it that way and showed no understanding whatsoever. A no-go for me. I'm not going there anymore!

I didn't have high expectations at first, but surprisingly, the food was very good. First, appetizers and salads came with warm bread. There wasn't much flavor difference between the appetizers, though. The sinks were just plain unkempt. They need updating. Plus, the dark-haired waitress politely made us do her part. We ordered the grilled meat platter for two (€53), but even the appetizers were disappointing: soggy, cold bread. When the grilled meat platter arrived, the food was cold, dry, and tasteless. The portion was extremely small – absolutely not worth the price. The fries tasted stale, like they'd been left yesterday, and the meat seemed to have been briefly reheated – certainly not fresh off the grill. In response to our polite complaint, the waiter simply said, "I'm just bringing the food." No apology, no offer of a replacement – ​​nothing. We left the food, paid, and left. Don't be fooled by the good reviews. We got stale, dry, and poorly served food for an inflated price. Unfortunately, I absolutely do not recommend it.

Warning about this restaurant – an extremely bad experience I recently had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant with a friend. The food was barely edible – heavily overseasoned, burnt, and an obvious attempt was made to cover up the poor condition of the chicken with spices and marinade. That same evening, both of us developed severe stomach pains and persistent diarrhea, which didn't subside the following day. These symptoms clearly indicate spoiled or improperly stored chicken – a serious health risk! The price was particularly shocking: €61 for two people – and that for just a simple meal of chicken thighs. That's almost ten times the actual value of the goods. This pricing is absolutely excessive and disproportionate to the quality offered. I strongly recommend that management reconsider their pricing structure. Conclusion: I cannot recommend this restaurant in any way. For health and financial reasons, I strongly advise against a visit. This experience was disappointing – and definitely a one-off.

I went there with my family, and when we arrived, we were told they were out of salad and weren't making any new salads, even though they were still four hours away from closing time. The same thing happened with the rice. I ordered a chicken skewer with fries, and I have to say, I've never eaten such bad meat in my life. We were there yesterday with four people. Three had Iskender and one had Beyti. The Iskender, as we liked it, was filled with pre-sliced, stale doner meat (doner meat also has a lot of gristle). There was no bread. We felt sick afterward. The meat in the bread at the Beyti was cold. The rice was probably a bit old, too. Unfortunately, I really can't recommend it anymore.

I can highly recommend this place! The restaurant on Hamborner Altmarkt, where there is plenty of parking, is right next to the Commerzbank around the corner. When the weather is good, you can eat and drink at one of the many tables outside! There is a breakfast and lunch buffet every day from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., including a variety of drinks. You can also make a reservation for smaller or larger groups. Make a reservation early enough! The buffet is very extensive and there is something for every taste! At breakfast there are fresh rolls and other treats, as well as various types of sausage and jams, various salads and there is something for vegetarians too! There are also various soups available and a variety of hot dishes for lunch! There are also little treats for dessert! I was there on a Sunday morning and there were lots of families with their children there too! I was very happy with the selection and quality of the food! The toilets were clean too! You can help yourself to various hot or cold drinks that are located at the entrance! You are assigned a table at the front by the entrance if there are any free ones, otherwise you have to wait a while until one becomes available! The turnover is actually quite good! The buffet price is €16.50 but I think it's reasonable for everything you get! After I paid the small fee, a young man gave me a large white plate, a knife and a fork! As it turned out after a short chat, Junus was the boss of the restaurant! A very friendly and accommodating man! Who also has an ear for his staff and guests! Today my partner and I had breakfast here; We have visited this restaurant twice in the past and this time there is nothing to complain about: the buffet is varied and extensive, the food is fresh, the staff is friendly and attentive and the ambience also invites you to stay for a longer period of time. The price for breakfast has increased slightly, but coffee, tea and juices are included. A successful change from the “typical German breakfast”. We will definitely visit Aladdin more often in the future.

We recently had breakfast there again after a long time, as they haven't offered breakfast since July. I found the prices so outrageous: 17€ per person. Children aged 6 and over will never pay 15€ again. My little one doesn't eat half of what they have to offer apart from Pomeranian and medium and niche rolls and then I think charging 15€ is absolutely a no go. It's a shame. I was actually happy to come back, but I'll avoid this atmosphere

The food in the restaurant was overall okay, but with some weaknesses. Unfortunately, the Adana Kebab was far too salty and spoiled the enjoyment. The meze (starter salads and dips) were not my cup of tea at all - neither in terms of taste nor in variety. The flatbread was okay, but nothing special. When it came to meat, the lamb chop (Kuzu Pirzola) was the best quality and well prepared, while the lamb or veal skewer (Çöp Şiş or Kuzu Şiş) was also solid. The chicken (Tavuk Şiş) was unfortunately rather mediocre. The Nohutlu pilaf deserves a positive mention – it was particularly good. The fries were acceptable, but nothing exceptional. An average experience with light and shadow. For the price and quality, I would reluctantly come back.

We went to dinner with my family today (5 people) and the gentleman who greeted us at the door rudely says "here's what you want?" I enter the restaurant. What can we want, 5 people and a baby? Show us a table, another gentleman from the back with the same attitude rudely said that it is not reserved, we were directed to another table, we were told that it is reserved in the same way, he showed us a table in the back and said that you can go towards that direction, it is not even clear where it is. Then we asked for another table and were told that if you get up in an hour and a half, you can sit there. They did not give us a seat in the huge restaurant. After we got to the table, we asked to look at the menu, no one paid any attention, and after a while, we asked for it again and brought it. The gentleman who came to take the order harshly pulled the menu from the baby's hand, meaninglessly. The food came to the table, but they brought neither glasses nor forks nor knives, I guess they expected us to eat with our hands. Then a lady working there took care of us, she was very friendly, we thank her.

I definitely don't recommend this restaurant. I wanted to have a spontaneous meal today with my family of five, including my elderly mother. I went to the restaurant without a reservation and after a short wait at the entrance I was shown to a table. A few minutes later a server came up to me and accused me of pushing in front of another family of five. I felt very embarrassed leaving my table at that moment. This showed me the staff's completely disrespectful attitude towards guests; there is obviously no system or organization in place. When I visited the restaurant there were only three people in front of us at the entrance and they were shown a table a short time later. At the time I was waiting there was no other family of five in front of us. I was spoken to and shown to a table. The experience I had in this restaurant was the worst thing that has ever happened to me. Customer service and hospitality? None at all. I can only recommend that everyone not visit this restaurant with their family and have these humiliating experiences.

The best thing: A group of 17 people arrived directly after us and had also made reservations. They were also told there was no reservation. Customer service and hospitality? None! We will definitely never come back.

I can only recommend this kebab restaurant! The meat is of exceptionally good quality – tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The rotisserie spit is particularly noteworthy: the meat is served particularly crispy and thin, which makes the kebab a real pleasure. The vegetables and sauces are also fresh and very tasty. The service is friendly and the portions are good. The starter salad with dips and flatbread is served just as naturally as the tea after the meal. Definitely a must for all kebab lovers!

I had a bad experience at a restaurant. We had made a reservation to go out for dinner with our family on my birthday. We are from the Netherlands so we had to drive more than an hour. When we arrived we were informed that our table had been given to another family. We were also told that we were late, which was not true as we were at the restaurant five minutes before the reservation time. When the employee checked, he said we were lying about the time given. I became very angry and asked him about it, to which he replied, 'Why would my staff lie?' After that experience, I decided to take my family to eat somewhere else. We have been to this restaurant several times and the food has always been good. But the reception staff was very rude. I would have expected at least an apology, but we didn't even receive that.

The starters were brought to us after less than 2 minutes, as you can see in the picture. Small salad plate, fresh warm bread and 4 dips. (The dips were very tasty but for me the taste could have been more intense). The main course was a platter for 2, I thought the portion size was okay, but perhaps there could have been a delicious sauce with it. But in terms of taste, the meat and rice were simply great 👍🏻 Ayran was fresh and delicious. The service was great, everything was brought to us in no time, and we were often asked if anything was missing or if we needed anything else. The staff was very nice and accommodating, it was polite to deal with! I think this is very important to mention in order to feel comfortable. The restaurant was renovated and comfortably furnished, the toilets were clean but in need of a bit of renovation (or the joints were not worked on properly but that's just my personal opinion). Price-performance ratio was also right. Conclusion: Great restaurant, I felt comfortable and the food tasted very good. I'd love to come back! 😊

For this reason, I will no longer visit your restaurant in the future and will not allow family, friends or acquaintances to visit your restaurant!! Yesterday's visit was the last!!!!!!!!! For me it is not only important that the meat is halal, but in view of the current political situation, which is characterized by genocide, it is also crucial which drinks are offered. If a restaurant does not offer customers any other alternative to Coca-Cola offers (while only Uludağ or water are available) and doesn't even try to provide an appropriate alternative, but instead dismisses the boycott movement as "superfluous", then for me this is the right time to boycott this restaurant too. Furthermore, I find it problematic when a Turkish restaurant views its own Turkish customers as “irrelevant” and instead primarily responds to the needs of German customers. I consider this attitude to be disrespectful and discriminatory!!! Given these facts, I will definitely not visit your restaurant in the future!!!!! I hope that you will bear the consequences of your actions (at the latest in the afterlife). Customer feedback seems to have no meaning in your case, as it is obviously only about financial gain. Called 1 week before New Year's Eve to reserve a table and was told to call a day in advance that would be enough. No sooner said than done. I called today and was told that they had no more spaces. When I mentioned that I had called a week in advance and was told that I should call a day in advance, this was of course denied and said that was not possible at all. The phone was then simply hung up because they knew they were in the wrong. So the service really sucks. Treating customers like that is absolutely not possible. Some pieces of meat were a little too black, otherwise soft and well seasoned. Service was very friendly and nice so far. Our waitress had problems understanding us and asked if I could speak Turkish, which wasn't great. I can't speak Turkish, nor am I anything like that. I'd rather just have Turkish food and eat there every week. You can eat outside and inside here. I can recommend it, since I live 2 hours away it's understandable that I won't be here as a guest very often, only when I'm passing through.

That was a really nice evening, with very nice service staff. I felt very, very comfortable. That was really tasty. I'd love to come back.

food delicious, Service excellent Ambience not the best. After the visit I completely smelled like food. For 2 people we were okay without dessert for a bill of €50.. You can do it :) Best regards

I come to the restaurant regularly and am always greeted warmly, get very good food for what I pay and have very friendly service. Even though I didn't know any of the waiters beforehand, I'm greeted with a big smile every time. Even if the food wasn't as good as it is, the service would make up for it. Chapeau to everyone there and see you soon.
