Everything was actually delicious, but the salad wasn't fresh, and the Adana was kind of undercooked. I've had food poisoning for two days now because of it.

Unfortunately, the kebab has shrunk by half while the price remains the same. Disappointing.

Just ordered a fresh doner kebab and lahmacun. This doner kebab has the potential to be one of the top 10 in Essen. The bread is amazing, the salad is fresh, and you can definitely taste the quality of the meat! However, both the meat and the lahmacun were overcooked and almost blackened. A real shame...

I ordered a mixed grill, and the mixed grill came with an Adana shish kebab, a chicken breast shish kebab, a pork chop, a beef shish kebab and plenty of döner kebab. I don't understand what the connection is between the mixed grill and döner kebab.

The waiters were very, very rude!!! The food tasted good, but unfortunately, it tasted different every time, and the quantity was always different. At the cash register, they took more money than you had to pay, and I'm not talking about a one-time experience; my boys and I have been there several times! All I'm saying is, 4 doner kebabs, 1 wing plate, and 7 drinks, €94!

The food would be really good, if it weren't for the fact that the quality and quantity served varies from visit to visit. Portion size or even content seems to depend on the mood of the employee. The food tastes good, I recommend it, but the consistency is lacking.

The shop was open late into the night, and I was hungry. I ordered a regular kebab and I have to say I was disappointed. The meat wasn't juicy and was a bit hard, even though it was freshly sliced. I know the shop, but it wasn't good at all. It used to be much better.

We were there again yesterday, and we noticed something: The meat tastes simply incredible and is prepared in a special way compared to other restaurants. Please keep up the good work! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially the grilled meats, as you get a little bit of everything and can sample all these heavenly flavors. We'd love to go again!

There are waiters working here who don't know how to deal with customers, especially the two waiters who take the bill. and when ordering they said that if you order grilled food or kebab you will get starters and pita. Behavior patterns vary greatly from customer to customer. Only customers they know are served here. I can't recommend it. This is my third visit and my third experience with the same thing. Everything you have is normally very delicious, but unfortunately, your minced meat pita has an excessive isot taste and you probably have to remove everything in it, including the minced meat, from the food processor, and the pita mixture literally turns out like mud. Everything else is delicious, and also the friend who makes soup and pita bread. I think you are forcing him to work. He is always talking down to the friend at the service. We are waiting for 10 minutes for one soup. Instead of giving soup, he starts making pitas. I don't understand what kind of logic this makes.

It's the last day of 2024, we decided to have breakfast. Everything that was supposed to be hot was ice cold. Also the quality was zero. The buffet is completely sloppy, prepared just for business. I remember the first open buffet breakfast, the owner was there personally and took care of me, using the best quality products. There was also a friendly face and respect for the customer…. While it should always be better, Öz Urfa is lowering its quality even further every day. What a shame, so much effort…. The woman standing at the cash register greeted us coldly, as if she was forced to work, saying "HERE THERE" "HOW MANY PEOPLE" "HAVE YOUR BREAKFAST" as she entered, and as she left she said "WHAT WAS THERE" "29 euro" CARD....as if we came from an enemy village... It's a shame, so many people are eating bread there... Also, the quality has dropped so much that there were 3-4 tables at breakfast, all of them foreigners. We stopped for ten minutes, ate bagels and cheese, and threw ourselves out…..

If you order a lamacun as a starter, it only comes during the main course. If you go here after 3 p.m. the waiter will say lamacun It takes longer even though the store is empty. The waiter is just unfriendly and has the wrong job... We won't go here anymore.

The waiter has no idea about hospitality, just unfriendly. You get the feeling that you are at best tolerated by him. The food came cold, the Turkish pizza as a starter always comes after the main course. The rice was cold. We were regular customers because the food was always delicious but the service and the unfriendly staff were not good at all. But the boss doesn't seem to care.

Meat quality of the Döner is really good. The staff was also kind and attentive.

The minced skewer was delicious. The doner meat didn't taste like anything. The order in which they served the food was a disaster. First came the salad bowls, then the drinks, then the cutlery, then three dips, then my soup, then the fresh and delicious bread for the dip. 2 minutes after my soup was served, my food arrived. So I had to hurry up with the soup or eat the cold food later. My daughter's kebab plate came when I was almost finished with my meal. While the waiters didn't have to serve, they were busy with their cell phones without even being aware of it. Definitely not recommended!

I've been to Öz Urfa several times and have really appreciated the all-you-can-eat breakfast in the past. Unfortunately, a lot seems to have changed in the restaurant, perhaps due to a new owner. What used to be impressive in terms of taste is now absolutely disappointing. In the past, you were allowed to take as many drinks from the fridge as you wanted with breakfast - a real advantage. But now the drinks are charged extra without prior notice. The employees don't inform you about this, so the unpleasant surprise only comes at the checkout when you suddenly have to pay additional costs. Neither signs nor information indicate this change - an absolute disgrace and extremely customer-unfriendly. Another problem: children pay the same price as adults, which I find really unfair. It seems as if they are only interested in the income here, without taking the guests into account. The quality of the food has also decreased significantly. The food used to be fresh and tasty, but now the breakfast is unfortunately bland and carelessly prepared. For me, Öz Urfa, which used to be an insider tip, is unfortunately no longer an option. Very disappointing!

Was there on a late evening (during the week), with 3 friends, there were 4 of us in total. 2 people ate Adana, it tasted delicious and looked great. One of the colleagues had an Iskender. It was really not good, the meat was rubbery and full of hard pieces that you could only bite on and took away your appetite. After speaking to us, another dish was suggested to us, which the colleague politely declined because he had lost his appetite. We didn't have to pay the iskender either. Now to Adana one of us had stomach problems the next day and the other had food poisoning similar symptoms. The starter was bread with sauces which tasted very good and also looked very good. We can't complain about the service and there weren't any waiting times either

Doner kebab made from real veal, homemade, not industrially produced. I had the large kebab bag for €10, it was so big that I couldn't finish it. Next time the normal size for €7.50. Otherwise everything was good, meat, sauce, bread and salad. At the end there was also the obligatory tea on the house. Service was also friendly and quick. Absolute recommendation

We were here twice today. But there will never be a third time again! There are plenty of people on the street who would be happy to accept our money with more friendliness. We came in and were able to choose a table. The waiter, if you can call him that, seemed slightly overwhelmed and didn't have a friendly face. We received the menus quite quickly. After we ordered, the flatbread with the dips arrived. Our drinks were all placed on the corner by the young man (waiter) and yet in a restaurant he asked if that was possible or if we needed glasses. I just said, well, I would like a straw. Then 3 glasses came without comment! Then at some point the two grill plates arrived! I didn't have any food. My son and my husband noticed that my food was going to another table. Because someone had already complained. But we weren't offered a single word of apology in the form of language, so I had to wait while they were both already eating. When both were half finished, my husband asked if they had forgotten us, and they apologized because they had swapped the tables. I'll go on to say that 6/7 minutes later, you can hardly believe it, my food arrived!!!!! While the other two were now finished. Quite honestly!!!! We had also ordered tzatziki but oh well….. Everyone's food seemed to be good. My fries were totally over salted, the flatbread on top was so hot that my tongue and mouth really burned!!!! The halfway good thing was the meat. The taste is ok because there are no spices. Sorry when we asked for the bill the young man (waiter) at the cash register said payment would be made. Not a kind word, they didn't like it, they didn't want a cup of tea at the end...just nothing!!! But we were asked all this on our first visit... there was even a second piece of the delicious thin flatbread on the board without any incident... Well, today we spent our hard-earned money in this restaurant for the second and last time. So, you can scare away guests because you know there are enough of them who will come back, no matter what. These are my experiences today ☺️

This isn't my first time eating here, and it won't be the last either. The food is absolutely great, the bread is a dream. The service is always top, especially when Azad is there.

Top breakfast buffet and top cuisine for lunch/evening. You can tell that the kebab is homemade. Everything at the highest level. In the photo is the mixed plate for 2 - unfortunately we didn't quite manage the large portion.
