If you don't care about the ingredients in a burger, you can eat here. The quality is borderline, our burgers consisted of ready-made patties and each of our 3 burgers contained very hard pieces.

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Staff were very friendly and approached us, ambience was top notch with very appropriate music and great value for money

The service is great and I always really enjoyed the vegan burgers. However, I would like to see a larger selection of vegan dishes other than burgers, e.g. vegan currywurst/bratwurst or similar :)

Yesterday there were 19 of us, we all sat at the long table and had no problems with the chair. The service staff served everything in a timely, warm and friendly manner. We were all thrilled. The prices are pretty okay. I can enthusiastically recommend the restaurant. For me it was a great experience, especially when you see what the portions are in other restaurants and at what prices!!!!! Compliment!!!

Went there for dinner last night and were a little disappointed with the visit. The table of the guest in front of us was not cleaned. Burgers were lukewarm and the cocktails were a disaster. The only positive thing was the friendly staff.

Normally very good food and service I went out to eat today and the shop was absolutely empty. The chef and service staff preferred to talk rather than serve. I sat for 5-7 minutes and then left because it was too stupid for me. Nothing was asked...

The food was ok. The service was slightly overwhelmed and the food took a while. Unfortunately there was no bread with the salad, which I found a bit difficult.

Nice place for students, the coolest Oxford of the establishment. Prices have increased significantly but are still affordable.

Everything is very tasty but vegan burgers should only come with vegan sauces as standard, but here they come with non-vegan mayo.

Waren hier am 28.09.2024 zum Abendessen und haben ohne Reservierung in dem stark besuchten Lokal dennoch einen Platz ergattern können. Auch wurden hier viele Speisen für den Lieferdienst Lieferando herausgegeben, dessen Mitarbeiter das Restaurant ebenfalls stark frequentierten. Die Speisekarte hier ist eine andere als im "Oxford Bier & Burger" in der Innenstadt, stellte aber eine willkommene Abwechslung bei selber Qualität dar. Der Black Forrest Burger ist hierbei besonders zu empfehlen, ebenso die selbstgemachte Maracuja-Limonade. Wir können das "Oxford-Ost" auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, auch wenn wir den "große Bruder" in der Innenstadt aufgrund der Location persönlich besser finden.

Despite being overbooked, we got a limited space and were served quickly. Ate delicious burgers. Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer. Maybe it will work next time.

Went here for dinner on September 28th, 2024 and were still able to get a seat in the busy restaurant without a reservation. Many dishes were also served here for the Lieferando delivery service, whose employees also frequented the restaurant. The menu here is different than at the "Oxford Beer & Burger" in the city center, but it was a welcome change while maintaining the same quality. The Black Forest Burger is particularly recommended, as is the homemade passion fruit lemonade. We can definitely recommend the "Oxford-Ost", even if we personally like the "big brother" in the city center better because of the location.

Great, very fast service even though the restaurant was completely full! The ambience is great and beautifully rustic. Mozzarella burger was ok but not super good that I would come back. Unfortunately, the fries were also rather dry. Price alone for 12 euros with a drink was perfectly fine.

It is a nice informal place where eating good food. The staff is very fast and gentle. The price, in my opinion, is right for what it offers.

Unfortunately some of the food was cold and a complaint was made. When the food came to the table again, exactly the same ingredients were cold. Unfortunately, I can no longer understand this and cannot recommend it.

Edit: Were here again after years and it's really pleasant. Very nice, friendly and competent service staff. Sanitary area is also fine. Were only here to drink, will definitely come here again to eat. Under all guns I'm actually quite relaxed when it comes to order and cleanliness, but this sanitary area leaves me speechless. No toilet paper, just kitchen roll. Walls ripped open. No soap. After 10 minutes no one came (think handover shift) we left

Beautiful atmosphere in the eastern part of Karlsruhr. Great value for money and very friendly service. Appropriate portions for large appetites. My husband was very excited :)

It used to be my place of choice for vegetarian burgers - unfortunately, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is no longer right For the same price there are simply more convincing options in the Oxford Pub(!), and the selection has unfortunately been reduced compared to before (goodbye avocado slices and quesadillas) The beer garden is worth a visit in summer and the drink selection/prices are still excellent

180g burger portion is more than enough for one person and very tasty. Perfect service!

Sorry, I didn't like the burger. Carelessly topped, the sauce was bland and the portion was compactly rubbery and I couldn't even eat half of it.

Today I unfortunately have to give the service 0 stars. We simply weren't served, even though the waitress saw us. Then after 10 minutes we went somewhere else to have a drink. Once inside, all I saw was service on the cell phone. Total disappointment today. You can definitely do better

Oxford is great! But the new waitress with black hair is very unsympathetic and unfriendly. Doesn't fit in with the usual team because everyone else is very nice and attentive. The job is not for everyone, she seemed to get annoyed whenever someone wanted to order something

The food was very good but the furnishings are from a flea market and very uncomfortable

Service super friendly, helpful and nice! Even though the store was full, people could converse at a normal volume. There were 6 of us, the others had burgers and loved it! I had salad, but there wasn't enough dressing for me. I reordered and to my happy surprise it wasn't charged. Cocktails were also delicious! Parking situation is ok.... We'll come back if you need it!

I knew the original restaurant from my student days in Karlsruhe - today it is the Oxford Ost. The guest room is rustic with raw walls - the huge table in the middle is gigantic. The food and drinks were consistently delicious. There were large portions at acceptable prices. The employees were super friendly. Conclusion: recommended! 👍🏻

Really good burger place. I had a cheeseburger with a 180g patty. The burger was very, very good... top meat, top burger sauce and top bun. The sweet potato fries were crispy, which is not the case at many other burger places. The service was also very friendly. Only recommended!

There is enough choice to choose dishes for the whole family. Drinks are also available. The burgers are fresh and tasty, and there are a lot of potatoes. You have to wait a little for your order, as there are a lot of people I took off one star because there was a narrow passage between the tables and every time the waiter passed by he touched my chair, but it’s not that bad.

Einfach super, für jeden etwas dabei! Tolles Team, super Service und das Essen sehr ist wirklich gut. Man bekommt große Portionen, das Essen ist recht schnell da und auf Wünsche usw. wird eingegangen.

Go to Pub! You can get really good food for little money. Diverse offering, especially when it comes to drinks. Also vegetarian and vegan dishes. Anyone who is there should drink a Campus Ale. The service is actually very nice, it takes a long time to serve, so you often end up sitting there with empty glasses.

Super friendly service. Ambience top. Only the food is inedible. Schnitzel ok, spaetzle overcooked and without taste. The mushroom sauce had no taste and was greasy.

Update #2: Unfortunately, the old student restaurant where you could eat well twice a week is no longer there. The mozzarella burger, for example, now costs €8.90 (!). It's a shame, we don't go here often anymore. Update: There is now an even larger vegan selection including vegan burgers😍 Large selection, especially of vegetarian/vegan dishes. Food very tasty. Diverse food, large selection of drinks, very friendly and flexible staff (we were a larger group and were allowed to take additional tables as long as the service staff could still get through). Food came quickly; Sometimes you had to wait a bit (not too long! It was still within reason) for the drinks. Prices were also completely reasonable. Gladly again :)

Amazing food served at this restaurant! The staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Beyond Meat Vegan Burger which came with fries, ketchup and mayo, all for €13.90. Don’t be afraid from the reviews regarding delays in service because my order was served in less than 10 minutes!! I would definitely recommend Oxford Ost to anyone looking for a big-portion meal :) The only downside I found was that the music was a bit louder than my liking. Maybe you shall enjoy loud music? :D

Ordered food for 4 of us... everything was good, but I left out the normal fries for my chicken burger and instead ordered sweet potato fries for an extra €8. Of course they didn't arrive but normal soggy fries. I then tried to call 4 times but in vain. It's a shame and €8 gone Ps: Chicken wings were cold Need to add something else… They are very accommodating and offered us new food. It was really delicious so I really recommend it.

Two burgers, two drinks 40 euros. 30 minutes passed until the waitress saw us. To pay you have to walk to the counter yourself because you will be completely ignored. Then you will be asked if you would like to give a tip.

Worst salad I had in my life! Just a bunch of chopped vegetables and salad and some canned tuna. No dressing at all, not even salt! And the tomatoes were warm???

Wenn man Hunger in Karlsruhe hat, kann man hier vorbeikommen und zufrieden sein: Hier hat man eine riese Wahl an Gerichten, vom Burgers zu Pasta. Ich habe den Burger gegessen und war so lecker, weil die Zutaten frisch waren. Schnelles Service und gemütliche Atmosphäre, ideal besonders für Mitarbeiter oder Studenten, die schnell was zum Essen brauchen. Auf jeden Fall lohnt es sich hier zu kommen, da man mit einem kleinen Budget den Hunger gestillt.

Waren heute mittag nach langer Zeit mal wieder im Oxford in der Oststadt und bereuen es zutiefst. Mein Mann hatte ein Schnitzel mit Jägersoße und Pommes. Die Jägersoße hatte die Konsistenz von einem Pudding, war klumpig und von Champignons war leider nichts zu sehen. Ich habe mich für Omas Schinkennudeln entschieden. In der Karte steht, dass sie mit einem Salatbouqet serviert werden. Leider wurde der mit den Schinkennudeln nicht serviert. Bei nachfrage beim Personal, hieß es, es sei Sonntag und der Vorrat an Salat wäre gering aber ich hätte ja dafür mehr Schinkennudeln bekommen. Auf Wunsch wurde mir ein kleiner Salat serviert. Leider sind die Schinkennudeln in Öl geschwommen und waren so ungewürzt, dass sie nach nichts geschmeckt haben. Nach gefühlt fünf gabeln, haben mein Mann und ich uns dafür entschieden zu bezahlen und das Restaurant zu verlassen. Dies war für uns ein Grund nicht mehr ins Oxford essen zu gehen!

Burger 🍔 einer der besten in meiner Favoritenliste. Die Süßkartoffelpommes und die Cheesenachos ebenfalls sehr gut. Mega freundlich der Service und ein modernes Ambiente. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Schnelles Essen, stabiler Preis und guter Geschmack- einfach die perfekte Studentenkneipe! Ausgefallene Burger wie die Bacon Bomb, mozarella Burger oder Spätzle Burger heben dieses Lokal von anderen Pubs ab- aber auch Schnitzel, Currywurst und andere Leckereien werden hier angeboten. Besonders der Aussenbereich fühlt sich wie ein kleiner Biergarten inmitten von Karlsruhe an und ist sehr empfehlenswert

Гарне місце в тихому районі Карлсруе. Європейський заклад, в тому найкращому сенсі, який вкладають в це словосполучення українці. Смачні велики бургери, швидке приємне обслуговування, дуже затишна атмосфера. Нагадує кращі хіпстерські заклади Києва. В наявності пиво Murphy's Stout та Red з крану!!! та традиційні сорти німецького Hoepfner. Демократичні ціни, вечеря з двох бургерів великий+середній та 2х2 пива вийшла трохи більше за 40 йоро. Дуже раджу, особливо тим людям, хто майже у відчаї від традиційної німецької кухні. P.S. звісно ж, що Шніцель з картоплею та Куррі-вурст наявні в меню))))))

Nice atmosphere: inside & outside seating. We got our beers right away, however, our order of cheese nachos took forever. We had reminded the service a couple of times and in the end it turned out the kitchen had completely forgotten about it. After almost an hour we finally got the nachos. They sincerely apologized and offered free drinks or a dessert, which we did not accept since we had to leave soon.

Essen war okay Bedienung war vermutlich neu (Studenten und oft wechselndes Personal - man kennt es) und dementsprechend leider nicht so aufmerksam. Mussten 2x ins Lokal gehen um etwas für draußen zu bestellen + noch einmal zum zahlen. Atmosphäre draußen war jetzt kein Hingucker, drinnen sah es aber besser aus.
