It was our first time there, but definitely not the last time. The ambience and service are absolutely great, the food was delicious, only the portions are very small.

It was a dream again. Thanks to the entire team. Keep it up. We really had fun. See you next time.

What a great evening! The menu was excellent. The service staff very attentive and friendly. The singer who accompanied the evening was great and contributed to the success of the evening. This is how event food works!

Compared to last year, the quality of the food has decreased significantly. We felt that it got worse from course to course. The dessert was therefore more than bad. A simple cream dish that tasted like it had been dumped. However, this was due to the excessive balsamic vinegar in the cherries. The rice pudding that was served was not cooked. The vegetarian version consisted of spinach instead of shrimp and Brussels sprouts and potatoes instead of duck... and all for a whopping 95 euros. You can spend an atmospheric evening there, the service and the music are great. However, you shouldn't expect too much from the food as it doesn't have much in common with good Italian cuisine.

There's no menu here - instead, the warm team bring you a selection of delicious Italian dishes, all freshly prepared and seasonally inspired. This personal touch makes every visit a new experience and you can feel the passion behind every dish. The food is simply fantastic. From fine antipasti to delicious pasta dishes to traditional meat and fish specialties - everything tastes authentic and of the highest quality. What is particularly impressive is that the team adapts to the wishes and preferences of the guests and ensures lots of surprises. The atmosphere also makes you feel like you are in a small trattoria somewhere in Italy. The decor is rustic and cozy, and the service is warm and attentive. You can tell that the well-being of the guest is really the focus here. Overall, Osteria Maria is a must for anyone who wants to experience the real Italy - without leaving Berlin. A wonderful experience that leaves you wanting more!

Für mich war mein erster Osteria Maria Besuch ein grandioses Erlebnis italienischer Gastlichkeit und Lebensfreude. Meine Erwartungen wurden definitiv übertroffen. Die begrenzten Verfügbarkeiten bei der Onlinereservierung sind mir nun auch verständlich. Die Osteria Maria befindet sich in einer alten Villa, mitten in einem Wohngebiet. Durch das Eingangstor gelangt, genießt man vorab schon mal einen ersten Eindruck von der im Sommer genutzten Außenanlage. Eine Außenbar, gemütliche und lauschige Sitzgelegenheiten, stilvolle Beleuchtung und selbst noch im Oktober, umgeben von blühenden, gepflegten Blumen-Arrangement´s. In das Kellergewölbe gelangt man über eine ziemlich steile Treppe problemlos hinab. Ein Treppenlift ist -bei Bedarf- vorhanden. Im Keller angekommen, gab´es für mich den ersten Woweffekt mit einer allerherzlichsten Begrüßung und einem Glas Aperitivo Frizzante. Wir wurden zum Tisch geleitet, der bereits mit einigen Vorspeiseköstlichkeiten und einem leckeren, selbstgebackenen, warmen Brot und Getränken eingedeckt bereit stand. Das Interior des Kellergewölbes ist sehr BESONDERS. Die Wände sind von unzähligen Weinflaschen auf Regalen geschmückt, die Gewölbedecke sowie einige Wände sind kunstvoll schön bemalt gestaltet und es ist ein sardisch geschmückter Kamin im Raum. Alle gereichten Speisen und Getränke entsprachen genau den Angaben in der Menükarte, waren überaus sehr schmackhaft, die Portionen völlig ausreichend und angemessen. Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei 68,00€. Alle Mitarbeitenden der Osteria waren extrem aufmerksam, von besonders großzügiger Freundlichkeit. Auffälig war auch die überaus gut gelaunte positive Ausstrahlung des gesamten Teams (wie eine family). Der Sänger "Adriano Mottola" versprühte dazu über den gesamten Abend perfektes „La Dolce Vita Feeling“ . Eine grandiose italinienische Begleitung durch den Abend. Seine emotionale Stimme, die italienischen Songs ließen die Gäste nicht auf ihren Stühlen sitzen. Es wurde ausgiebig getanzt, was das Zeug hält und manchmal auch kräftig mitgesungen ;-)). Es war für uns ein wunderschöner Abend. Wir und die anderen Lokalgäste sind mit einem Lächeln verzaubert nach Hause gegangen. Ein Donnerstag, so wie ich ihn auch gerne öfter mag. Ich kann einen Besuch der Osteria Maria uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und freue mich persönlich auf die Tavolata 2025 in der Tenuta dell`Osteria Maria auf Sardinien, die zum selben Inhaber gehört. I was at the “Sunday Pranzo” with live music. This event is clearly in the direction of “experience gastronomy” including flat rate drinking. The food is simple but delicious. What bothered me was the sometimes enormous volume; you could hardly have a conversation. If you want to spend a fun afternoon with your friends including the opportunity to dance, this is the right place for you.

Great atmosphere, a little too loud, but otherwise great

It was our first time at Osteria Maria and we were very excited to see what awaited us. It was at a friend's party. The reviews are almost all very positive. Expectations were therefore high. The first thing you notice is of course the ambience. The room with the tables is just great. The adjoining rooms also look great. Very cozy and a bit like in the movies. The tables were richly set with starters such as bread, ham, etc. Wine and water were also on the table. But we weren't asked for drinks once - which was cleverly done, of course, since we had a flat rate and of course as a host you save money if fewer drinks are ordered. Orders were only accepted upon request. Unfortunately there were no drink menus either, so you always had to ask the waiter. At least the drinks came relatively quickly. At times we had concerns because it was difficult to have a conversation with the waiters due to the noise. That was the general problem throughout the evening - the volume. It was just way too loud. The music was occasionally turned off or turned down, but it was only possible to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you with great effort. Unfortunately that ruined the evening. It was just exhausting. The live music was also really nice and created a good atmosphere. But more breaks and a little quieter would have been great too. So the only thing left was the inner courtyard where you could have exchanged something - but you had to be very quiet so as not to disturb the neighbors. Especially since you heard the loud music there too. After the evening I felt like I was in a club - my voice was hoarse and my ears were totally muffled. In summary, the food was ok, but didn't reflect the price/person. The mini appetizers that were brought out little by little tasted good, but nothing more. The main course of chicken and carrots wasn't much of a feat either. We expected more. Especially since you never knew when the next course would come. If you disappeared briefly into the yard and then came back, something new was already on the table. Nothing happened before for a long time. On the subject of toilets: The toilets in the men's area were clean. Unfortunately not for women. But the operators can't help it if the guests behave like pigs. What the two toilets had in common was the loose toilet seats. Conclusion: ambience great! Music is great too, but way too loud! Food OK. Service was also ok but not as outstanding as always advertised. Some people also found it inappropriate that they walked around with a tip jar at the end in a somewhat intrusive manner. I think the main problem, the volume, also had a negative impact on other points in the rating because people were just totally annoyed. It's a shame, especially for the price.

Osteria Maria is an incredible experience! I have already been there twice for the Sonntags Lunch and can only recommend coming here. The atmosphere is very welcoming thanks to the friendliness and helpfulness of Max and Simona and thanks to the good music offered by Riccardo. You spend 4 hours pampered by good food, fun and an inexplicable warmth. Many thanks also to Johannes and the rest of the staff for making everything unforgettable!

I was invited. You shouldn't complain about that. There were problems checking in. Great helplessness! The table that was ordered a long time ago was already taken... What are we doing there??? Mood at its lowest point. The hostess was disappointed but kept her composure. A table on the balustrade was offered. It still had to be covered, it took a while. The waitress was clearly trying to limit the damage. A sparkling wine? Unfortunately only a sweet variety (who drinks something like that?) Finally the table could be moved. The other guests were already celebrating. Then things started to shake up for us too. Thankfully no one felt like ruining the afternoon and the house excused itself with a few bottles of red wine. The food was of good quality, although the portions seemed to be counted. Were there perhaps a few too many guests on board in the end? Conclusion: Overall the birthday party was saved and in the end it was a success. But something like that shouldn't normally happen. I've only ever seen overbookings on low-cost flights 😉

Simply perfect! I've eaten here five times and had a wonderful evening every time! Highly recommended! As a couple or in a larger group... anything is possible! Service is incredibly authentic and friendly, you feel very well looked after. Music is amazing, very talented on the microphone and you want to sing along the whole time!

Everything is absolutely great, except for the neighbors who have moved here and who apparently actually have the impudence to move next to a restaurant right after Steglitz town hall, not far from the S-Bahn and motorway, and then complain about the background noise. I feel very sorry for every Berlin icon.

It was a very nice and nice evening

The basic concept of spending an evening in company with live music and a multi-course meal is fundamentally very appealing. However, the spatial conditions leave something to be desired and require significant compromises. There is a lively atmosphere in the main hall in which the sound is still distributed reasonably well. In the smaller side vaults, however, the sound becomes purely a nuisance. As a hearing aid wearer, the acoustic situation was extremely uncomfortable for me. After about 20 minutes I was forced to turn off the hearing aids and then spent two hours at the table unable to hold a conversation. Before leaving the event I had a small selection of food, including some ham and salami with bread and a meatball. Unfortunately, the first main course didn't suit my taste and I didn't wait for the second main course because of the unbearable background noise. The management was also unable to offer a solution and simply pointed out that it was an event catering facility. If you come mainly for the food, you should consider investing the 85 euros per person in a higher quality restaurant. In my opinion, the quality of the food corresponds to that of an average "All You Can Eat" buffet, such as the Mongolian buffet, although in Osteria Maria the focus is of course on Italian cuisine and of course there is no buffet, but a service at the table. The service was really excellent. Despite the high workload, the employees were friendly and did an excellent job. In summary, the location could be suitable for guests who don't mind loud noise, like simple Italian cuisine and want to enjoy an evening with lots of drinks in company. However, I personally was disappointed and felt uncomfortable after paying 85 euros for a few bites of what was supposed to be a 5 course meal and a drink. The acoustics in the building are simply inadequate, and the sound system also leaves a lot to be desired. Although I often attend loud events even with hearing aids, the adjoining rooms at Osteria Maria should be reconsidered due to the poor acoustics. Even people with normal hearing found the volume to be unpleasant, and the atmosphere of the main hall is not apparent in the adjoining rooms.

A little bit of Italy in Berlin. We were able to spend wonderful Italian hours at Osteria Maria. The atmosphere was cozy, the service courteous and friendly. The dishes were delicious and prepared with love. The quantity was more than sufficient, you could even ask for more. We'll definitely be back! :-)

It has been a wonderful place for great celebrations of all kinds for many years. The crew at Osteria Maria is a great team, with a lot of love for food and everything about it, they take care of their guests. The menus in summer and winter are always great, no one goes home hungry or dissatisfied. Whether with or without musical accompaniment, the afternoons in summer or evenings in winter are always a pleasure!

A unique, impressive experience. The Osteria's so-called summer festival impresses with a multi-course menu, the finest wine and its exclusivity in the location's inner courtyard. I would like to express my special thanks to the service staff around Maria and Luckas (with c, k), who acted with wit and charm as well as the right eye to see whether guest X, Y might need a second helping, and thus the festival in its entirety rounded off first-class.

The Tenuta Osteria Maria was an Italian event experience like I've never had before. Incredible ambience, with several rooms decorated in great detail. Sardinian gastronomy is reflected in every detail and you immerse yourself in the Italian world. With exclusive live music and a 5-course menu like you can't get anywhere else. From start to finish the atmosphere continues to build and many individual groups become one. The Osteria Maria offers events that you and your company, your friends and families can have individually designed by the whole team. I am of the opinion that everyone must have had this experience at least once in order to immerse themselves from Berlin in the middle of the Piccolo Mondo de Osteria Maria.

It's unbelievable that the Cremeria had to be closed because it was supposedly too loud. Such a nice place to eat ice cream with the kids. Really sad. It's like being in Italy felt.

Once we had an extraordinarily good and different meal with drinks because it was already set out in the five courses and in the drinks offer, which didn't detract from the enjoyment. The ambience and hospitality were extraordinary and outstanding.

It's a shame, there is a sign indicating that ice cream sales will be discontinued due to complaints from the neighborhood. Apparently the cooling machines were too loud. This is a bear.

Cremaria permanently closed! Many thanks to the “dear” neighbors who ensured that our Steglitz now has the best soft ice cream in the city! We loved being here with the children - always delicious, always hospitable, always a great summer atmosphere. It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be room for something like that in the neighborhood anymore - the main thing is that it's nice and quiet now!

An old restaurant where you can spend 4 hours with real Italian flair and good food. You have to reserve the table and pay for the menu at the same time for both reservations. There were five of us and we had several special requests, all requests were taken into account and everyone was happy. The 4 hours go by very quickly, with singing and, if you want, dancing between courses. The service is super friendly and funny. An absolute experience worth it!

It was a very nice evening with very tasty food in a very nice atmosphere. The entertainer created a great atmosphere. The service initially had difficulties bringing the drinks, but this improved over the course of the evening. The only downside was that we celebrated in a vaulted cellar and always had to go upstairs to the backyard to get some fresh air. And there was peace and quiet because of the neighbors. Otherwise a completely successful evening. Gladly again and again.

We had a great time celebrating a friend's birthday here. What a great atmosphere and there is also a lot of dancing. Of course there are always plenty of drinks and good food. You simply have to experience it to be believed.

We were looking forward to a lovely evening with friends over a great meal. The food was also really good, but unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it. The music was so loud that we could barely hold a conversation and our ears were still ringing three hours later. The request made several times to reduce the volume was rejected with reference to the concept. According to the operators, you can only enjoy live music at extreme volume. It's a shame, the food and service were so good that we would have liked to come back, but not with this kind of sound.

Event gastronomy at its best. Delicious food and drinks from Italian cuisine. The starters, Grapa grapes, rice pudding and and and... The overall package is convincing, which would not be possible without the great staff. Clear recommendation 👍 If you have a lot to talk about that evening, you should look for a quieter corner in the Osteria Maria.

The Osteria Maria is an institution that we have only just gotten to know. We were there for the Sunday Pranzo and had a unique afternoon/evening. There was fantastic food (starters, main courses, desserts) with drinks as much as you wanted (aperitif, wine, water). There was live music and we danced. What fun.

What a place... we've never had an evening with so much singing and laughter. For a friend's birthday we booked a large table for a course meal. It started with a limoncello, which is great if you haven't eaten anything. Then the antipasti platters and the wine arrived and the evening began... it took less than a quarter of an hour and we started singing... Italian of course. The waiter gave it his all and sang with passion, the guitar played and we joined in like a conductor. It was sooooo funny! By 11 p.m. everyone was hoarse from warbling and happy about this great evening!

Die Osteria Maria liegt ziemlich versteckt in einem Hinterhof in Steglitz in einem Wohngebiet. Über eine Treppe geht es hinab in den Keller in die Gewölbe. Sehr gemütliche Einrichtung und Dekoration. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit einem Glas Frizzante, man wird zu seinem Platz geleitet. Eine frühzeitige Reservierung ist angeraten, es ist wohl an jedem Donnerstag schnell ausverkauft. Und so gab es zu Beginn dieses Events keinen freien Platz mehr! Die Stimmung an diesem Abend: Bombastisch! Sehr freundliche, gutgelaunte Kellner, die jederzeit für Dich da sind! Die Stimmung steht und fällt aber mit Adriano, der mit einer Wahnsinns-Stimme italienisches Flair verbreitet. Der Saal kocht! Naja, und was soll man sagen: Auch die gebotenen Speisen sind von hoher Qualität, und auch die Quantität stimmt, so dass Otto Normalesser keinesfalls hungrig bleibt. Fazit: nicht unbedingt für den romantischen Abend zu zweit, aber eine ideale Location für eine Feier.

We spent our company Christmas party here. It was a successful evening. The food was very good and the waiters were very attentive and created a good atmosphere. Only the music was a bit loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation, which was probably because we were sitting directly under the loudspeaker. Can highly recommend it as an event.

Truly a unique restaurant!! The dishes are excellent. But what tops everything is definitely the ambience and the service: the live music and the ambitious waiters don't let you stay at your seat for long. And so a visit to the restaurant is a mixture of great food and great music with dancing and just a very, very good atmosphere. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!

Were there for the second time today. Again a lovely atmosphere, wonderfully set table, great food, great and attentive service. Unfortunately this time the music was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation and our ears were ringing like after the disco. The choice of music should have remained Italian again and not slipped into après-ski. Otherwise another great experience.
