A great evening with delicious food, exceptionally prepared. Great ambience, excellent service. We were very looked after. 😀 Gladly again. A touch of Italy with sonorous live music. This is how dinner should be. Really special and highly recommended.

What a nice rumdum package. Come in, feel good and enjoy. Rarely have we felt so taken care of in a restaurant, from the greeting to the farewell. Starters, main courses and desserts left nothing to be desired and were simply perfect for us. We finally found our favorite Italian restaurant in Hanover!!!

I had planned a special evening and was unfortunately very disappointed. The reception was nice. We each put together a 3-course meal. Everything was good for my partner, hence the 3 star rating. I was served a completely different dish for the main course than what I ordered. I mentioned this and the waiter was initially completely overwhelmed and couldn't find a solution. Then I thought I didn't want to wait so long again for my actual dish while my partner already had his pasta in front of him and I said that it would definitely take some time until my course arrived and otherwise I would end up with the wrong dish, Although I don't like it, I can eat it because I didn't want to inconvenience it, but given the price, that was a big mistake. So I had a carbonara with bacon on it, which I don't like, and I collected the bacon from the pasta with the waiter. Unfortunately, the taste was so intense (very salty and smoky) that I could only eat a few noodles. I then ate my fill of bread with olive oil (which was excellent). When I reported that I didn't like it, there wasn't even a proper apology. I think the restaurant owner didn't even notice this and the waiter didn't communicate his mistake. At the beginning he was at another table and had an argument with the waiter because something was wrong there too. For dessert there was a tiramisu, which was okay but not outstanding, but way too much so I only managed half of it. As an apology, the waiter wanted to offer me something on the house afterwards, even though I had already said that I was completely full. I would have liked the price to be more accommodating and I even gave a tip because that's just how it should be... I was really very sad after the evening because I paid so much money for poor service and the atmosphere that followed could no longer cheer me up as the evening progressed.

I don't think I've ever had such good truffle tagliatelle! I've tried almost everything and found it to be good without exception. Very nice and fast service. I'd love to come back

Top Italian cuisine with creative dishes that also vary. Priced at the upper limit.

Four of us ate at this restaurant and we all loved it! I can't even put my euphoria into words! The food was incredibly tasty, I have rarely eaten so well in my life (and believe me I have eaten in many countries, places, restaurants) the quality of the food, the way it was prepared and presented was really top! You can tell on the plate that everything is cooked with heart in the kitchen. The service is very attentive and friendly, even though the shop was full, we always had wine by the glass and there was really nothing missing at our table! Big praise also to the live singer! At first I thought Hmm... ok live music might be a bit overpowering but no, it was really subtle and not disturbing at all! Ultimately all I can say is: You have to eat here! You have to have been here! Thank you for the unforgettable evening We will definitely come back!

Excellent Italian. Regardless of whether you are content with an extensive menu or individual dishes, eating there is always a joy and an experience. Classics interpreted in a modern way, there are plenty of them at a high technical level. The staff is a very pleasant mix of professional and friendly. You feel very comfortable in the restaurant. Great restaurant with service that you can't get anywhere else. Food was absolutely top notch.

The food was exquisite and extremely tasty. In terms of price, quality and quantity were in a perfect ratio. The waiters are very friendly and very accommodating. The truffle pasta is highly recommended.

A real Italian, not cheap but good

The visit left me with mixed feelings: the quality of the rack of lamb was excellent; the meat was tender and tasty, and the preparation was convincing. However, the portion consisted of just five small pieces of meat, accompanied by a modest amount of mashed potatoes. The price of 31 euros seemed a bit excessive to me. The service was polite and attentive, but the overall impression of the evening was marred by the unfavorable price-performance ratio. Despite the high quality of the food, I would have liked a larger portion or a more reasonable price.

Before Corona, we often ate at La Forchetta. During Corona, the whole thing was somehow forgotten. By chance we became aware of a special offer, in this case it was a crustacean dinner and because we had been wanting to try crustaceans for a long time, we reserved a table and went. My wife has some specific allergies and has had some bad experiences with them. Either they couldn't tell her what was in the dishes or they ignored the questions. Not so at La Forchetta, we already stated our allergies when making the reservation and were then asked about them directly when greeting us. Not only that, to be on the safe side, the chef came to us and asked us again exactly what the allergies were like. Enough digression, the food was really delicious. We felt very comfortable and well looked after. The restaurant makes a well-kept and inviting impression. We will definitely be going back to La Forchetta more often from now on.

During a promotional period it was possible to have Neapolitan pizza baked in an oven right outside the restaurant and take it away. It was quick and easy to order, the staff was friendly and you could watch the preparation and cooking process. The pizza was crispy and juicy on the inside, but the dough was a bit too salty. The price for a Margherita was not cheap at around €14, but still ok.

Italian food at its best with great attention to detail is how I would describe our visit. Four of us were spontaneously and for the first time at La Forchetta and were immediately taken by the pleasant service in the well-kept atmosphere. The starters were perfectly prepared and also a visual highlight. The focus here was on balanced flavors that are otherwise so often missing from antipasti. Plus a cool white wine, what more could you want. Then pasta with parmesan truffles... Oh yes, food can be so beautiful. Many thanks to the team for this special piece of Italy.

Everything is very good here, the reception, the furnishings, the service and even the location. Nice outside in the summer too. The food was first class all around and the chef regularly confirmed this by asking questions at the table. If you just want a quick pizza in the evening, this is the wrong place. We were there with friends and had to dig a little deeper. The selection of South Tyrolean wines is worth mentioning; you don't have that often.

The two of us were at Forchetta on a Friday evening. It wasn't very crowded, but we still had a reservation. The ambience is classic, with high-quality furnishings. You feel good. The service is excellent! Professional and attentive, great! We opted for a three-course menu with wine accompaniment. The dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients is high. The accompanying wines were perfectly matched and very tasty. A lovely, successful evening at a high-class Italian restaurant.

Expensive, good for special occasions, not for the end of the week on a Friday. A bit too bright, therefore not very intimate ambience. Food very good. Service could be warmer, more honest, it often seems artificial with empty phrases.

With the many 5 star reviews recently, I hardly dare to give a "only" 4 star review (it's a good review. Nevertheless, for 5 stars (everything is just perfect) I was missing something. We have Both chose the 4-course menu for 79 euros per person and then also selected the dishes that were subject to a surcharge from the menu (a total of another 15 euros). Unfortunately, we had to forego wine, my wife doesn't drink alcohol and I had to drive. What did We were now missing for the 5 stars? We somehow couldn't do anything with the prawns, polenta, Nero the seppia, pumpkin cream, horseradish. If the black was the polenta colored with squid ink, then that was just too much for both of us Good. It tasted extremely like squid ink and was heavy on our stomachs all night. I also got the version with horseradish (that was probably the white drop), which was what my wife was supposed to get and the pumpkin cream was probably the orange drop on it . The service didn't pay attention. The risotto - red cabbage etc. was just too much risotto compared to the 3 prawns. Service: I noticed that guests were treated unequally. Some were asked if they also wanted balsamic vinegar (I assume about the bread, we only had tasty olive oil and didn't need any balsamic vinegar at all, but still, you don't do that if everyone treats you the same). And the somewhat flippant, funny saying about tiramisu that was prepared at the table (I think it's a good idea) that I have to make it myself just doesn't fit. At least not if you're a guest at the restaurant for the first time. If you know the waiter well, it's something different. Although of course I didn't take the saying seriously. And what I didn't like is that as a guest you aren't even offered a small grappa or espresso on the house for a 200 euro bill for 2 people. It's just a friendly little thing, I can buy it myself if necessary, but somehow such a small gesture is part of it for me. What the restaurant can of course do nothing about is the catastrophic parking situation near Geibelplatz on a Sunday evening.

This is such a charming little place, very warm and cozy atmosphere. The food is so delicious, fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and original. The service is just lovely, we will definitely be returning! Thank You for a lovely evening!

Simply perfect! Reserved via Google, confirmed within a few minutes. A real Italian, with excellent food and a great ambience. As the only guests at around 5 p.m., we were treated to a greeting from the kitchen. The staff was very friendly and really accommodating. My companion felt a bit "watched" by the staff, but I think that we (as I said) were the only guests at the time and had priority and they wanted to be ready for us immediately - that's the point, it was done several times asked if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. I can't judge what it looks like at peak times after 6 p.m. Still the service: 10/10 All in all a really cute and nice Italian restaurant with a very high quality, we will definitely come back!!

Excellent cuisine! The seafood salad starter was unusual, very good quality raw materials paired with an interesting pea side dish. And the main course of monkfish with a slight chili note from the vegetables was very skillful. Great explanations and discussions with the cooking boss, who showed himself to his guests. This is exemplary! We will be back.

Sehr guter Service. Immer präsent nie aufdringlich und ein perfekt abgestimmtes Essen. Wirklich zu empfehlen. Nur Parkplätze sind schwierig zu finden.

Essen war ok, Service war stets bemüht und der Wein sehr lecker. Leider klappte grundsätzlich wenig. Gerichte wurden vergessen oder falsch geliefert. Alles in allem vergingen 3 Stunden bis zur Hauptspeise was eindeutig zu lang ist.

Ein authentischer Italiener mit tollem Essen, feinen Weinen und einem fantastischen Team. Alla prossima volta!

Super Restaurant! Der Service ist top und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Kellner wissen, was sie tun! Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, was sich in der super Qualität der Gerichte widerspiegelt! Vom Gruß aus der Küche, bis hin zur Nachspeise war alles top! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!!

Super leckeres italienisches Essen, bei dem man die Kochkunst mit jedem Bissen schmeckt! Tortellini mit Muskat-Kürbis waren traumhaft ;) Der perfekte Service und die Atmosphäre haben den Besuch abgerundet. Komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder. Ciao e arrivederci a presto!

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in der La Forchetta und wieder Mal sehr begeistert. Liebe Mitarbeiter die Lust haben dich als Gast Willkommen zu heißen. Das Essen ist ein Traum einfach nur sehr sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder um in Hannover ein Stück Italien zu genießen.

Optisch sind die Speisen sehr schön angerichtet. Das weckt Erwartungen, die geschmacklich zum Großteil nicht erfüllt werden. Z.B. war der Fisch knopelig oder sehnig. Aromen und Gewürze meist zu flach.

Der Koch ist mehr ein Künstler als ein Koch. Das Essen ist wunderschön angerichtet, super modern und der Geschmack ist immer vortrefflich. Meiner Meinung nach ist es der beste Italiener in Hannover. Besonders schön ist es im Sommer draußen zu sitzen. Es ist jedes Mal wie eine kleine Reise nach Italien. Pizzen vermisse ich hier nicht auf der Speisekarte, weil das restliche Angebot hier sehr gut ist.

Restaurant im Herzen der Südstadt. Sehr gutes Essen und eine gute Auswahl an Wein und anderen Getränken. Wir haben einen Themenabend besucht und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Parken ist eher schwierig und Lademöglichkeiten so gut wie nicht vorhanden.

Ich hatte Spagetti Carbonara, ein Klassiker. Leider war der Bacon zu angebrannt und die Sosse demnach durch die sehr starken Röstaromen nicht lecker. Ansonsten sah es mir aber nach einem sehr hochwertigem Restaurant aus. Bedienung war freundlich, obwohl ich alleine da war.

Ich war gestern mit meiner Verlobten dort essen. Der Service war stets zuvorkommend und keineswegs aufdringlich. Wir haben und für das 4 gänge Menü entschieden indem wir jeweils selber die gänge wählen konnten. Es war für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Die Preise sind entsprechend der Qualität etwas höher angesetzt, was aber rund um stimmig mit dem gesamten Laden zu bewerten ist. Für einen romantischen Abend zu zweit der bisher beste Italiener den ich in Hannover besucht habe !

Wir waren Anfang August zum Krustentiermenü dort. Chef Marco, Chefin Maria und das gesamte Team haben uns einen zauberhaften Abend beschert. Die Gerichte waren köstlich, die Weine dazu perfekt. Es gab Live Musik, unglaublich toll gesungen, besser kann man an einem Samstagabend keinen Urlaub in Hannovers Italien machen!

Das Essen sowie der Service waren sensationell. Wir waren zu viert vor Ort und haben gefühlt die gesamte Speisekarte durch probiert. Wir haben die zartesten Rinderfilet Streifen gehabt die man sich vorstellen kann. Der Pulpo war auf dem Punkt gebraten, ganz zu schweigen von den herausragenden Tartar Variationen. Unser Freund ist ein gefürchteter Restaurant Kritiker (hobbymäßig) und so still und zufrieden gestellt wie an diesem Abend haben wir ihn kaum erlebt. Der Service ist super aufmerksam, kommunikativ und bodenständig was uns sehr wichtig ist. Es kam sogar 2x der Koch persönlich vorbei um zu erfragen wie uns die Speisen gefallen haben. Wir waren die letzten Gäste weil es einfach sehr gesellig dort war und haben uns zu keiner Zeit gefühlt als wolle man dass wir schnellst möglich gehen. Was soll ich sagen… es war durch und durch ein gelungener Abend. Ich kann jedem empfehlen einen Abend mit Freunden oder ein Dinner zu zweit oder mit der Familie hier zu verbringen. Große große Empfehlung!

Hervorragendes italienisches Essen in einer authentischen Umgebung. Wir waren schon öfters dort essen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Der Chef kocht dort noch selber und kümmert sich persönlich um die Gäste. Auch der Chefkellner ist ein perfekter Gastgeber. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Es war ein rundes Erlebnis. Essen war sehr gut, genauso die Bedienung, die wunderbar auf die Kinder eingegangen ist. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gute “echte” italienische Küche, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ein sehr aufmerksamer Service - wir hatten in Hannover endlich mal wieder einen gelungenen Restaurantabend!
