Were there for dinner. Super nice, competent service. Dishes very tasty. Starter of beetroot and spinach dumplings. Absolute recommendation. Be sure to save room for dessert. Reservation required. Will definitely come back. Parking can be a bit difficult.

Super, great, MEGA, top notch! Five stars PLUS, PLUS, PLUS, PLUS, PLUS, PLUS......... VERY cozy, super nice and friendly, helpful service/waiter and especially waitress. There are 7 days a week, one day is closed (Tuesday), which means: I could go there 6 times a week. Despite the wheelchair, no problems whatsoever. It was our first time there BUT CERTAINLY NOT the last time.

The Wiener Schnitzel had a lot of breading, the cucumber dalat was extra for the potato salad and was relatively vinegary and sour. Well, I've eaten better schnitzel. Otherwise quite nice. Potsdamers stop!

The Österelli in Potsdam impresses with excellent Austrian cuisine, top service and warm-hearted hosts who care about the well-being of their guests. Absolutely recommended. For me one of the most beautiful places in Potsdam!

We had booked a table in advance. We were welcomed very nicely, we were shown a table next to a room with taped-off painter's foil and a loud, annoying fan. Not possible in this price segment. The wines were very good and tasted excellent. I had chestnut soup as a starter which tasted really good, but the consistency was very thick and mushy. Way too heavy on cream... For the main course I had the Krenschnitzel with potato/cucumber salad. The breading was tasty but the schnitzel was very tough and dry unfortunately. The salad was delicious.👍🏻 The absolute highlight was really the dessert, a super delicious Kaiserschmarrn with nothing but really nothing wrong with it. Highly recommended. In this price segment you can expect more in terms of cuisine. Wouldn't go there again for the time being. Maybe something will change over time. The location is already mega.

The pictures speak for themselves! Clear lines, good flavors, quality production. We heard a lot of good things and after our visit to Berlin we were now able to feast here in Potsdam. Beautiful ambience in the coach house. Thank you for the culinary trip to the mountains - please keep it up.

We were there for an event, so I can't tell about how they are during usuall restaurant opening hours, but what I experienced was great. Very friendly and outgoing staff, good drinks and tasty food. The Schnitzel, the Kasspatzn, the Kaiserschmarn, everything was delicious, and I will definitely come back to see how it is during normal opening hours.

Excellent truffle cordon bleu... and the wine recommendation (Bela Rex Cuvee from Gesellmann) was so good that I immediately ordered the wine online...great!

Lovely place but the side potato and cucumber salad is always too sour… I generally love sour food but I invite the chefs to take some inspiration from Figlmüller’s side salad. Also the knödel were a little bit sour too - besides that, best Austrian place in Berlin & Potsdam hands down. Service and interior are wonderful, the younger servers are much nicer than the older ones we’ve had. A sense of superiority from the latter at time which is unnecessary.

Expensive, cramped, you wait forever for cards and orders, food seems like convenience, but clothes still smell like it days later because the kitchen apparently doesn't have a deduction. If you want authentic and good Austrian cuisine, Halali in Wannsee is highly recommended.

In fact, one of our new discoveries is that if we had been able to find a place at the other restaurant and make a reservation, we would have missed the opportunity to meet these wonderful tastes and the talented team that provides great service. I strongly recommend you to go. This must be dancing with food, that's how we felt.

We spontaneously visited the Österelli in the evening, were warmly welcomed and were able to sit upstairs in the left room without a reservation. So far so good, but it was extremely cold and my wife was freezing, but the heating was supposedly running at full speed - "more people" were supposed to heat up the room soon?! Without quiet background music, you could also hear all the other conversations in the room, well...The wine prices per glass or bottle were pretty steep, so there was good Trumer Pils and ginger ale. As a starter there was chestnut soup (tasty but more like porridge than soup, unfortunately too much cream so it was greasy) and the dumpling duet, the dumplings were really tasty (spinach is recommended and if you like beetroot). The main course was once again dumplings (this time only spinach) with mixed salad (a little getting used to, little dressing therefore dry) and Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad (quite passable, not outstanding). The Wiener Schnitzel (with veal, there is no such thing as Viennese style) was wafer-thin (maybe 100g on the plate?) and very tough, plus there was a lot of overly salted breading. You could hardly cut the schnitzel with a knife, a steak knife would have been better... the plates were also being cut with a crunch at the table next door. Instead of cranberries, I ordered mayo, which cost extra...even though there was only one tablespoon on the bowl? For a total of 30 euros, a rather poor price-performance ratio. Good or bad that there is no onion roast on the menu, as the disappointment might have been even greater? Unfortunately there were no delicious Käsekrainer on the menu because “they weren’t profitable here at this location”. Unfortunately, we can easily believe that...the service was very good and the food was served quickly, the toilets were clean. Overall we give 3 stars (3.5 to be more precise), for the spinach dumplings and possibly other dishes worth visiting (Hendl?) if you sit on the ground floor, otherwise rather average in our opinion.

Had a delicious Austrian meal here in mid-September. Couldn't get enough of the crispy Knodel. So ordered again. Tasted all flavors. Beautiful and atmospheric place. Outdoor terrace. Courtyard. Nice service. Within walking distance of the city center ring, the city center and the parking garage. An address to remember

Sunday afternoon: Restaurant was not very busy. The waiter assigned us a small table for two, we sat down at a larger table that was not set and was more comfortable for us. It didn't suit him and he said we had to get up if a larger group came! Oh well. But it didn't come. The schnitzel was good, but it was dripping with fat. The cook probably didn't drain it. Taste was very good. The potato salad was the leftover from the pot. Not even a potato and a little cucumber salad. Lots of broth for that. We didn't see the waiter again but it was a very friendly waitress. This was our second visit. It will be a while before we go back. But we'll give the Österelli another chance.

We went to this restaurant for the first time. For this reason we did not add a request to the reservation. We were assigned a table upstairs. The ambience there differs significantly from the guest room on the lower floor. It is a room with a low ceiling and an unmotivated/loving design. Simple and with ceiling spotlights that blinded us in the face the whole evening. A visit to the toilet indicated the previous use of the room: a bathroom like one would find in a private apartment, with a bathtub and washing machine. All that was missing were the remaining personal items. We were irritated... Now to the actual reason for the visit: dinner with friends. We chose the menu and were thrilled with the spinach dumplings. Unfortunately, the main course was missing a note that the obligatory cranberries had to be ordered separately with the Wiener Schnitzel. We only noticed that these were being served at the neighboring table. When we asked what we would have had to do to get cranberries, the friendly waitress explained to us that we had to order them separately. Unfortunately you missed this note... Wiener schnitzel and salad were good. We also liked the dessert. The yeast dumpling was perfect. We learned about a new grape variety, Welchriesling. We liked the wine. 5 stars for that. We found the Bellini too expensive at 16 euros. We still enjoyed it. Conclusion: If we work on the ambience, we would be happy to come back.

Nice ambience but the service is inattentive and the food? Wiener Schnitzel is supposed to represent all of the wonderful Austrian cuisine? The apricot dumplings were not handmade, but frozen. Too bad. More fine, vegetarian Austrian cuisine and homemade pastries would be desirable.

This restaurant is absolutely impressive! The elegant interior exudes elegance and the service is first class - attentive and professional. The highlight, however, is the food: Austrian classics that are creatively and uniquely reinterpreted. Every dish is a culinary surprise. A must for connoisseurs who value tradition and innovation at the highest level!

Had a great celebration with 18 people in a separate room on the upper floor. Perfect, fast and very nice service. Prices reasonable for the quality. All guests were thrilled and we will be happy to come back.

We came to Österelli with high hopes for the food and were not disappointed. I would have loved to lick the plate of my dumpling trio (truffle dumplings, vegan spinach dumplings (standard here would be a beetroot dumpling) and normal spinach dumplings), it was so delicious and the Kaiserschmarrn is to die for. Even a small portion is sufficient as a dessert to share for two and is incredibly good with the deliciously spicy plum compote. I cannot understand the complaints about the service from other reviews. We enjoyed the evening outside and received excellent service. The two waiters were courteous and friendly, but not intrusive. As it got darker, lighting was brought to our table as a matter of course. In addition, I find the prices to be quite justified. It's just not a restaurant to grab a quick schnitzel roll.

Well, portions questionable. Time frame makes it rather uncomfortable. Service is ALSO a bit annoying because of that. The waitresses, who seem rather student-like, prefer to use their own cell phones. It doesn't really get comfortable. Just seems too arrogant overall. The “orderer” is also dragged through. Genuine interest in the guest is not received.

It's nice to sit outside and inside. The service was friendly and gave good advice on wine. The krenschnitzel was the best thing I have ever eaten. The potato cucumber salad was also great. I would have liked some melted butter for the apricot dumplings and the boiled beef salad was a little too seasoned for me. But here you really eat at a high level and the restaurant is really recommended.

The Kaiserschmarrn is probably the best I've had ever. The wienerschnitzel is also an absolute recommend, with remaining faithful to the luke-warm potatoes. They also offer the Käsespätzle, and that is delicious as well. The servers, at least in my experience, have always bee friendly. The atmosphere and decor is wonderful! This place really enhances Potsdam as a city!

We sat in the courtyard. It was very quiet there but the chairs were very uncomfortable. Food was good.

You sit in a beautiful courtyard, the Wiener Schnitzel came quickly, but was simply too small. And pickle slices in the otherwise acceptable potato salad are also out of place. The prices for the open wines are quite unpleasant, which doesn't invite you to linger. Service is sometimes tried but visibly strained. Not for us, but that doesn't matter, there was a lot going on.

The Österrelli Potsdam is located at Fr. - Ebert - Str. 37, 14469 Potsdam. In this respect, this is a good restaurant. The atmosphere there is very pleasant and the ambience is also very nice. I recently drank good beers there and ate a Wiener Schnitzel. Both were very delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful and very valuable. Highly recommended! This was my third time eating there, we spent between €210-250 on the first two visits, and €170 on the third and last visit. The first visit was for business and was really good, the service was attentive, the cuisine was spot on and the ambience was appropriate. The second visit was already borderline, the service was unprofessional (speed, bored, inattentive, uninvolved, panting over the plate) and the kitchen was adequate. Today's and last visit for me was an improvement on the second one, without any panting. We stopped at €170. Spending money has to be fun, I don't want to spend so much money looking at bored and incompetent waiters who I have to force sales on.

Unfortunately we had to sit inside due to the weather... it's a nice dining room and comfortable to sit in, but it was also very loud. Here we have the most delicious schnitzel I have ever eaten. The food is delicious, the service is super friendly and the ambience is very nice and romantic. We didn't have to wait long for our food and we were recommended a fantastic wine to pair with our meal. The only thing we didn't like was the Kaiserschmarren. The caramel tasted a bit bitter and not sweet at all, so next time we'll just order it without the caramel (if that's possible). I can highly recommend the Österelli. We will be back! :)

Young and old are welcome here. The restaurant is very beautiful outside and inside. The food was bombastic. We have rarely eaten so well. Even the little ones liked it very much. However, if you demand such good quality, you have to take the price into account. Since we were a larger group, the meal took a little longer - a little too long in our personal opinion. Therefore only 4 stars. Nevertheless, highly recommended! :-)

The two of us spent a warm early summer evening in the courtyard of the building ensemble opposite the Leipzig town hall. We came across it by chance. At first we were hesitant, but what we saw on the plates of those already present and the vibe in the courtyard made us spontaneously sit down. There was a lot going on that Saturday evening. We were still served promptly and then quickly got something to drink. The service was good; from the open kitchen window you could see how quietly everyone was working there. And what left the kitchen and ended up in our stomachs was convincing with its Austrian charm and strong taste. Hearty. Clear recommendation.

For the price, the food wasn't brilliant, but it was very good to okay. The three kinds of dumplings tasted good, but they weren't enough for the price. Ultimately there is mainly a choice between schnitzel and dumplings, so there is very little choice of “Austrian cuisine”. The yard is beautiful.

Unfortunately, just great food is not enough. Even the greeting was cool, just shown to the reserved table and that's it. When you order, they don't even look you in the eye. Everything seemed like a clearance. No interest in the guest. And then disagreements between the staff were loudly audible to the guests. Unfortunately it ruined the whole evening. But the food was really great!

We've never been greeted so unfriendly and arrogantly in a restaurant. After no service person was initially visible, we sat down outside at an unreserved table. Then the service person came and asked in an unfriendly tone whether we had reserved. We explained that we hadn't made a reservation and asked if we could still stay. We were then rudely informed by the male service person that we were already seated, but that the guests would normally greet her (the service person) first. Unfortunately, we were unable to find any written reference to this. This and especially the tone are unacceptable for a house with their standards. That's why we spontaneously decided to spend our planned €350 in a restaurant where we would be more welcome. I strongly recommend that you take further training on customer-centered communication as part of quality management.

The service is a disaster: unfriendly, disrespectful and ultimately trying to cheat us out of our money. To make matters worse, the food was brought and the waiter had a completely rotten nose. We had a wonderful evening at Österelli with very friendly and courteous service. The food was a poem and since it was very filling, we were able to take something home with us. We will recommend the Österelli to our friends and will definitely come back.

Admittedly, the ambience makes a very nice impression. This is the right place if you want to be treated condescendingly. You arrive and see a reserved sign on every table. Then nothing happens at all and, when asked, you are referred to a specific person who obviously has a lot to do. She comes and doesn't say anything at first. Finally, without a word, we are assigned a hidden cat table. But almost all the tables were empty! We then went to Tomasa around the corner and had an excellent meal.

Despite having made a reservation in good time and having several free individual tables for two with a reservation sign, the unfriendly waiter told us to squeeze into a table between two other occupied tables. When we asked to take one of the reserved individual tables because it was difficult to have a conversation, we were refused, saying that this narrow table had just become free for us. We know Austrian service and hospitality differently from Austria and left. Apparently there is no need to respond to guests' wishes in Potsdam.

We knew the Österelli in Berlin and wanted to try out the branch in Potsdam. The only positive thing first is that it's very nice to sit in the courtyard. The food was bad, chicken was still raw. When the complaint was made, people were mocked, and only when the kitchen confirmed this did they receive a verbal apology. The service was completely overwhelmed. It is pointed out that the asparagus is only available hard, “you should know that, it is not prepared any other way here” (eat or die). And he was very tough. The prices are completely overpriced for the service and quality of the food. It's a shame, because the branch on Bismarckstrasse Berlin is really highly recommended.

Very nice atmosphere with friendly service. In our opinion, the asparagus soup is too runny and too sweet. The toilet should be cleaned more often.

We ordered online. If that's possible, I'm assuming it will work. The gentleman who distributed the tables grounded us straight away. Not quite the Austrian charm we know. Luckily the lady from service ripped everything out. We received great advice from her. The food was super tasty and is also very appealing to the eye. Greetings to the kitchen. All in all, we can recommend it if the gentleman in the white shirt didn't add stress at the end.

The schnitzel with horseradish is great, the breading is exactly how it should be and the dumplings were also very good! There is a star deduction for the slightly sour beef broth and the slightly too sweet cucumber salad, but that's certainly a matter of taste... It just wasn't authentic enough for Austrian cuisine for me. Unfortunately we couldn't try dessert. We were there at 7:30 p.m., but had to wait so long for the main course that at 9:30 p.m. the service said that the kitchen was about to close, that Kaiserschmarrn was only available to take away and that we should hurry up and decide on it Dessert. We decided to forego it. The ambience itself is really nice, just very loud...maybe we'll try outside again. Go there early enough, sit outside and enjoy the schnitzel... Then it can be a completely successful experience 😉

Yesterday we visited the restaurant in Potsdam after we had already visited the Berlin branch. We were already impressed by the cuisine, the ambience and the service in Berlin. Potsdam was confirmation of a coherent concept. We reserved our table online, completely problem-free and uncomplicated. We visited the Österelli on Saturday afternoon with 5 people. A cozy atmosphere in the courtyard was the setting for well-chilled drinks and a delicious meal. Variations of dumplings, the classic “Wiener Schnitzel”, but also seasonal asparagus and truffles were on the menu. The Kaiserschmarren - intended for 2 people, was also enough for 4 people. Yummy! The service staff was courteous, friendly and attentive without seeming intrusive. Thanks for the lovely afternoon. If you like Austrian cuisine, you've come to the right place! There is a parking lot opposite Potsdam Town Hall. Not far from the restaurant, the Nauener Tor and the Dutch Quarter await you for a short digestive walk.

Today my daughters and I went to the Österlli in Potsdam for the first time. What a positive surprise! A nice and quiet ambience in the middle of Potsdam's city center. The service was attentive and warm. You have to be a little patient, as the food took a while to arrive. But it's very nice to sit in and the wait was definitely worth it. It's just not fast food. The food (starters, skin dishes and dessert) was a real pleasure and prepared with a lot of love. The prices are also acceptable. A real gain in Potsdam gastronomy. We'd love to come back. Austrian atmosphere in Potsdam - very tasty Viennese schnitzel with potato salad and a side dish, great beef broth, delicious (in the stomach - but you (woman) know that) homemade and fresh cheese spaetzle, super tasty cordon bleu - service takes some getting used to (inflexible) and a bit arrogant effective - ambience great

As always, it was a very nice evening at Österelli with delicious food, good wines, great service and a small but nice menu!

As total Austria fans, we are always looking for a good Austrian restaurant near us. That's why the Österelli was our destination of choice on our last visit to Potsdam. We had made a special reservation in advance so that we could actually get a place. That turned out to be very good, the restaurant is relatively small and was well attended. Overall, we were served alternately by a lady and two gentlemen, who were all very nice and friendly. The two veal schnitzels with lukewarm potato and cucumber salad came relatively quickly and were very good both in terms of taste and appearance. There was a bit of a feeling of eating in Vienna. So we ordered dessert, apricot dumplings and of course Kaiserschmarrn. The apricot dumplings themselves were very tasty, but the pumpkin seeds and nut butter didn't really have any added value; they actually made it pretty dry. The caramelized Kaiserschmarrn was simply too browned. Unfortunately, this made it taste a bit burnt and bitter. That may certainly be a matter of taste, but we like the classic version on the alpine pasture, nice and fluffy and slightly browned, but much better. We would be happy to come back to Östrelli and try the other delicious dishes on the menu. However, only in summer when you can sit outside. Since the room is relatively small, the acoustics are terrible. When all the tables are occupied, the background noise is quite loud. Unfortunately for us, there were 2 couples sitting at the next table who, after drinking a few bottles of wine, spoke so loudly that the whole restaurant was filled with noise and normal conversation at our table was no longer possible. Especially when something humorous was said, people laughed so loudly, almost screamed, that it almost hurt their ears. Since the food was good overall, we would like to come back in the summer and sit outside in the garden.
