It's nice to sit outside and inside. The service was friendly and gave good advice on wine. The krenschnitzel was the best thing I have ever eaten. The potato cucumber salad was also great. I would have liked some melted butter for the apricot dumplings and the boiled beef salad was a little too seasoned for me. But here you really eat at a high level and the restaurant is really recommended.

The Kaiserschmarrn is probably the best I've had ever. The wienerschnitzel is also an absolute recommend, with remaining faithful to the luke-warm potatoes. They also offer the Käsespätzle, and that is delicious as well. The servers, at least in my experience, have always bee friendly. The atmosphere and decor is wonderful! This place really enhances Potsdam as a city!

You sit in a beautiful courtyard, the Wiener Schnitzel came quickly, but was simply too small. And pickle slices in the otherwise acceptable potato salad are also out of place. The prices for the open wines are quite unpleasant, which doesn't invite you to linger. Service is sometimes tried but visibly strained. Not for us, but that doesn't matter, there was a lot going on.

The Österrelli Potsdam is located at Fr. - Ebert - Str. 37, 14469 Potsdam. In this respect, this is a good restaurant. The atmosphere there is very pleasant and the ambience is also very nice. I recently drank good beers there and ate a Wiener Schnitzel. Both were very delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful and very valuable. Highly recommended! This was my third time eating there, we spent between €210-250 on the first two visits, and €170 on the third and last visit. The first visit was for business and was really good, the service was attentive, the cuisine was spot on and the ambience was appropriate. The second visit was already borderline, the service was unprofessional (speed, bored, inattentive, uninvolved, panting over the plate) and the kitchen was adequate. Today's and last visit for me was an improvement on the second one, without any panting. We stopped at €170. Spending money has to be fun, I don't want to spend so much money looking at bored and incompetent waiters who I have to force sales on.

The food is really good, but not exceptional. The service is friendly, but the appetizer we ordered was forgotten and the change at the end. Unfortunately we had to sit inside due to the weather... it's a nice dining room and comfortable to sit in, but it was also very loud. But we'll definitely be back... the Kaiserschmarrn is a must-try and also the truffle dumplings.

Here we have the most delicious schnitzel I have ever eaten. The food is delicious, the service is super friendly and the ambience is very nice and romantic. We didn't have to wait long for our food and we were recommended a fantastic wine to pair with our meal. The only thing we didn't like was the Kaiserschmarren. The caramel tasted a bit bitter and not sweet at all, so next time we'll just order it without the caramel (if that's possible). I can highly recommend the Österelli. We will be back! :)

Young and old are welcome here. The restaurant is very beautiful outside and inside. The food was bombastic. We have rarely eaten so well. Even the little ones liked it very much. However, if you demand such good quality, you have to take the price into account. Since we were a larger group, the meal took a little longer - a little too long in our personal opinion. Therefore only 4 stars. Nevertheless, highly recommended! :-)

The two of us spent a warm early summer evening in the courtyard of the building ensemble opposite the Leipzig town hall. We came across it by chance. At first we were hesitant, but what we saw on the plates of those already present and the vibe in the courtyard made us spontaneously sit down. There was a lot going on that Saturday evening. We were still served promptly and then quickly got something to drink. The service was good; from the open kitchen window you could see how quietly everyone was working there. And what left the kitchen and ended up in our stomachs was convincing with its Austrian charm and strong taste. Hearty. Clear recommendation.

For the price, the food wasn't brilliant, but it was very good to okay. The three kinds of dumplings tasted good, but they weren't enough for the price. Ultimately there is mainly a choice between schnitzel and dumplings, so there is very little choice of “Austrian cuisine”. The yard is beautiful.

The quality of the food is simply perfect and the service leaves nothing to be desired. Every detail is lovingly implemented and the atmosphere in the restaurant is simply inviting. What struck me particularly positively was that the Österelli not only accepts positive feedback, but also constructive criticism. It's great to see that guests have the opportunity to leave comments and help improve the restaurant. (Although always not very constructive! An open conversation with the staff helps more often than posting any bad experiences!) We've never been greeted so unfriendly and arrogantly in a restaurant. After no service person was initially visible, we sat down outside at an unreserved table. Then the service person came and asked in an unfriendly tone whether we had reserved. We explained that we hadn't made a reservation and asked if we could still stay. We were then rudely informed by the male service person that we were already seated, but that the guests would normally greet her (the service person) first. Unfortunately, we were unable to find any written reference to this. This and especially the tone are unacceptable for a house with their standards. That's why we spontaneously decided to spend our planned €350 in a restaurant where we would be more welcome. I strongly recommend that you take further training on customer-centered communication as part of quality management.

Unfortunately, just great food is not enough. Even the greeting was cool, just shown to the reserved table and that's it. When you order, they don't even look you in the eye. Everything seemed like a clearance. No interest in the guest. And then disagreements between the staff were loudly audible to the guests. Unfortunately it ruined the whole evening. But the food was really great!

The service is a disaster: unfriendly, disrespectful and ultimately trying to cheat us out of our money. To make matters worse, the food was brought and the waiter had a completely rotten nose. We had a wonderful evening at Österelli with very friendly and courteous service. The food was a poem and since it was very filling, we were able to take something home with us. We will recommend the Österelli to our friends and will definitely come back.

Admittedly, the ambience makes a very nice impression. This is the right place if you want to be treated condescendingly. You arrive and see a reserved sign on every table. Then nothing happens at all and, when asked, you are referred to a specific person who obviously has a lot to do. She comes and doesn't say anything at first. Finally, without a word, we are assigned a hidden cat table. But almost all the tables were empty! We then went to Tomasa around the corner and had an excellent meal.

Despite having made a reservation in good time and having several free individual tables for two with a reservation sign, the unfriendly waiter told us to squeeze into a table between two other occupied tables. When we asked to take one of the reserved individual tables because it was difficult to have a conversation, we were refused, saying that this narrow table had just become free for us. We know Austrian service and hospitality differently from Austria and left. Apparently there is no need to respond to guests' wishes in Potsdam.

We knew the Österelli in Berlin and wanted to try out the branch in Potsdam. The only positive thing first is that it's very nice to sit in the courtyard. The food was bad, chicken was still raw. When the complaint was made, people were mocked, and only when the kitchen confirmed this did they receive a verbal apology. The service was completely overwhelmed. It is pointed out that the asparagus is only available hard, “you should know that, it is not prepared any other way here” (eat or die). And he was very tough. The prices are completely overpriced for the service and quality of the food. It's a shame, because the branch on Bismarckstrasse Berlin is really highly recommended.

We ordered online. If that's possible, I'm assuming it will work. The gentleman who distributed the tables grounded us straight away. Not quite the Austrian charm we know. Luckily the lady from service ripped everything out. We received great advice from her. The food was super tasty and is also very appealing to the eye. Greetings to the kitchen. All in all, we can recommend it if the gentleman in the white shirt didn't add stress at the end.

The schnitzel with horseradish is great, the breading is exactly how it should be and the dumplings were also very good! There is a star deduction for the slightly sour beef broth and the slightly too sweet cucumber salad, but that's certainly a matter of taste... It just wasn't authentic enough for Austrian cuisine for me. Unfortunately we couldn't try dessert. We were there at 7:30 p.m., but had to wait so long for the main course that at 9:30 p.m. the service said that the kitchen was about to close, that Kaiserschmarrn was only available to take away and that we should hurry up and decide on it Dessert. We decided to forego it. The ambience itself is really nice, just very loud...maybe we'll try outside again. Go there early enough, sit outside and enjoy the schnitzel... Then it can be a completely successful experience 😉

Yesterday we visited the restaurant in Potsdam after we had already visited the Berlin branch. We were already impressed by the cuisine, the ambience and the service in Berlin. Potsdam was confirmation of a coherent concept. We reserved our table online, completely problem-free and uncomplicated. We visited the Österelli on Saturday afternoon with 5 people. A cozy atmosphere in the courtyard was the setting for well-chilled drinks and a delicious meal. Variations of dumplings, the classic “Wiener Schnitzel”, but also seasonal asparagus and truffles were on the menu. The Kaiserschmarren - intended for 2 people, was also enough for 4 people. Yummy! The service staff was courteous, friendly and attentive without seeming intrusive. Thanks for the lovely afternoon. If you like Austrian cuisine, you've come to the right place! There is a parking lot opposite Potsdam Town Hall. Not far from the restaurant, the Nauener Tor and the Dutch Quarter await you for a short digestive walk.

Today my daughters and I went to the Österlli in Potsdam for the first time. What a positive surprise! A nice and quiet ambience in the middle of Potsdam's city center. The service was attentive and warm. You have to be a little patient, as the food took a while to arrive. But it's very nice to sit in and the wait was definitely worth it. It's just not fast food. The food (starters, skin dishes and dessert) was a real pleasure and prepared with a lot of love. The prices are also acceptable. A real gain in Potsdam gastronomy. We'd love to come back. As total Austria fans, we are always looking for a good Austrian restaurant near us. That's why the Österelli was our destination of choice on our last visit to Potsdam. We had made a special reservation in advance so that we could actually get a place. That turned out to be very good, the restaurant is relatively small and was well attended. Overall, we were served alternately by a lady and two gentlemen, who were all very nice and friendly. The two veal schnitzels with lukewarm potato and cucumber salad came relatively quickly and were very good both in terms of taste and appearance. There was a bit of a feeling of eating in Vienna. So we ordered dessert, apricot dumplings and of course Kaiserschmarrn. The apricot dumplings themselves were very tasty, but the pumpkin seeds and nut butter didn't really have any added value; they actually made it pretty dry. The caramelized Kaiserschmarrn was simply too browned. Unfortunately, this made it taste a bit burnt and bitter. That may certainly be a matter of taste, but we like the classic version on the alpine pasture, nice and fluffy and slightly browned, but much better. We would be happy to come back to Östrelli and try the other delicious dishes on the menu. However, only in summer when you can sit outside. Since the room is relatively small, the acoustics are terrible. When all the tables are occupied, the background noise is quite loud. Unfortunately for us, there were 2 couples sitting at the next table who, after drinking a few bottles of wine, spoke so loudly that the whole restaurant was filled with noise and normal conversation at our table was no longer possible. Especially when something humorous was said, people laughed so loudly, almost screamed, that it almost hurt their ears. Since the food was good overall, we would like to come back in the summer and sit outside in the garden.

Mega tasty. Everything. Beetroot dumplings and spinach dumplings, celery schnitzel, cheese spaetzle, Kaiserschmarrn, nougat dumplings. Excellent wine selection and various beers also very tasty. Service very courteous and friendly. We'd love to come back. Thanks to the entire team.

Very spontaneously, we dined in this beautiful little restaurant late in the afternoon on Sunday. The Wiener Schnitzel and the fried chicken salad as well as the Kaiserschmarrn were delicious. I haven't eaten better in Vienna either. The service was extremely pleasant, friendly and attentive. Everything was right. There's no need to even talk about the rooms. The whole building is simply beautiful and exudes a rural elegance. We would be happy to come back.

That was nothing! Were there with 6 people - and that was the last time. Regarding the ambience - small tables and cramped, but still acceptable. The food - had nothing to do with Austrian cuisine other than the name. Baked chicken was tasteless, the salad was a tasteless mash of potato salad (tasteless) with strips of Chinese cabbage - has the salad run out?? The crowning achievement is a Kaiserschmarrn with a leathery consistency, not at all fluffy and almost burnt. The prices are still okay - but only if quality is on the table. The staff at least tried hard, but Austrian things are different!

Ich finde das Ambiente passend zu Österreichischen Küche gewählt. Ich fühlte mich in die Kaiserzeit zurück versetzt. Die Speisekarte hat lecker klingende Gerichte auf der Karte. Leider hatte mein Magen nur Platz für was süßes oder was herzhaftes. So musste ich zwischen den Knödel und den Kaiserschmarrn wählen. Meine Wahl des Kaiserschmarrn war OK. Leider ist die Konsistenz nicht so fluffig wie ich ihn gewollt hätte und die karamellisierten Mandeln haben mir zu viel Eigengeschmack. Sonst war er lecker und auch die beiden kompottsorten passend dazu und schön angerichtet. Vielleicht nächste Mal doch die herzhaften Speisen probieren

Die Gastgeber Qualitäten werden auf Anhieb spürbar, sobald man den Laden betritt. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und einem überraschend flexible Küche, die auch veganer glücklich macht und das bei einem Österreicher. Das ist selten. Wir warten gespannt auf die Entwicklung eines bezahlbaren, veganen Kaiserschmarrn.

Wir waren heute mit 4 Personen da.2 Kinder und 2 Erwachsene. Nur durch Zufall haben wir diese Perle in der Vielfalt der Restaurants gefunden. Da wir gerne nach Österreich in den Urlaub fahren, lag es nahe dieses Lokal auszuprobieren. Ein gehobenes Ambiente mit super Gerichten. Die Qualität war hervorragend und der dazugehörige Service aller Beteiligten war aus unserer Sicht perfekt. Ein lockerer höflicher Service - sehr bodenständig. Ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir sind begeistert und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Eine Reservierung ist, denke ich, empfehlenswert, da der Gastraum klein und gemütlich ist.

Vielleicht einen schlechten Tag erwischt, aber der Besuch war enttäuschend. Der Service hat uns an einem Tisch platziert und dann bemerkt, es der falsche. Also umsetzen. Dann warteten wir 75 Minuten auf die Hauptspeise. Das Essen sehr durchwachsen. Das Wiener Schnitzel sehr gut, der dazu gereichte Kartoffelsalat mittelmäßig. Die Knödel als Vorspeise gut, die Gans mit Trüffel schlecht. Das Fleisch war viel zu lange im Ofen gewesen. Die Soße hatte nichts mit Gans oder Trüffel zu tun. Schmeckte wie Fertigsoße aus dem Glas und war kalt. Der Rotkohl wiederum gut und die Trüffelknödel auch gut. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Leider bin ich mittlerweile sehr enttäuscht von dem Restaurant. Bei unserem letzten Besuch mit kleinem Kind mussten wir unangemessen viel Wartezeit in Kauf nehmen (1,5 Stunden für das Hauptgericht und dann weitere 70 min für Dessert). Wir haben die volle Rechnung bezahlt, ohne jegliches Entgegenkommen. Für das Geld, was ich ausgebe, wünsche ich mir einfach mehr Gastfreundlichkeit. Schade

Das Restaurant übersieht man leicht, da es sich in einem Hinterhof befindet. Der Besuch lohnt. Der Gastraum ist irgendwo zwischen modern und barock eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Wenn es voll ist, ist es allerdings sehr laut, was Unterhaltungen erschwert. Hintergrundmusik hat es nicht. Wir hatten einen Tisch zu zweit. Dieser stand sehr eng neben anderen Tischen. Für mich war das zu eng. Man kann nur unter Schwierigkeiten aufstehen und sitzt dem Tischnachbar auf dem Schoß. Die Karte offeriert nicht viele Gerichte, aber gute österreichische Küche nebst vielen Weinen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und solide angerichtet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Restaurant ist sehr hochpreisig. Fazit: Man kommt gerne her und verlebt auch einen schönen Abend. Preis und Leistung passen aber nicht ganz. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, aber für den Preis fehlt das Besondere. Ähnlich beim Ambiente. Hübsch und gemütlich, aber bei dem Preisniveue zu laut und zu eng. Aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtstag zum Abendessen im Österelli Potsdam. Der Empfang und die Organisation waren sehr angenehm. Das Essen kam zügig und hatte die gewohnt hervorragende Qualität. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend.

Also alles in allem eine schöne Location und ein schöner Ansatz. Aber da ist noch Luft nach oben - vor allem bei Preisintensität. Der Service: wenn eine Vorspeise komplett vergessen wird und die Nachspeise über eine Stunde auf sich warten lässt und erst auf mehrmalige (!) Nachfrage serviert wird, passt was nicht. Essen: nicht schlecht, aber bei den Preisen geht's definitiv besser und feiner. Die Marillenknödel (besagte Nachspeise) schmeckten wie aus der Tüte. Und die Preiselbeeren zum Wiener Schnitzel mit 2 Euro Aufpreis zu kredenzen, ist wenig galant. In der Hoffnung, dass sich die genannten Punkte verbessert haben, würde ich wiederkommen, weil siehe Anfang... Viel Erfolg!

Selten in einem Restaurant gewesen, wo von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert alles so perfekt ist - selbst die Getränke überzeugten auf ganzer Linie. Das Österelli Potsdam bietet österreichische Küche auf hohem Niveau und diese schmeckt von der Suppe bis zum Kaiserschmarrn vorzüglich. Dazu kommt ein sehr gemütliches Ambiente - besonders im Winter - und ein freundliches zuvorkommendes Service-Team plus modernster Technik bei der Kasse/Bezahlung. Dieses perfekte Rund-Um-Paket gibt es natürlich nicht für günstig - über die Preise muss sich jeder Besucher bewusst sein - dafür erhält man als Gast eine sehr gute Leistung. Das Essen war sehr sehr gut! Was mich ständig davon abhält wieder dort zu essen, ist die Bedienung. Nachdem ich ‚nur‘ 15% Trinkgeld gewählt hatte, bedankte sie sich nicht und würdigte uns keines Blickes mehr!!

Wir hatten mehrere Wochen zuvor, im Restaurant Österelli, in einem Potsdamer Fachwerk-Kleinod, für 6 Personen, in der oberen Etage, reserviert. Es liegt idyllisch im Hinterhof von einem Gründerzeitvillenensemble. Resümierend bekamen wir nicht diese reservierten Plätze im Obergeschoss, sondern eine Eßnische, direkt neben der geschirrscheppernden Bar und am engen Durchgang, alternativlos zugewiesen. Ein diesbezügliches Intervenieren unserseits führte zu einem genervten und augenrollenden Deckenblick der desavouierten Kellnerin. Weil wir unbedingt die Wiener Schnitzel ausprobieren wollten, nahmen wir Vorlieb mit den Sitzplätzen. Die Wiener Schnitzel kamen wider des großen Andrangs sehr schnell zum Tisch. Das handflächengroße Wiener Schnitzel für faire €25,-, hatte eine kross-fluffige und blasige Panade, war rundum gleichmäßig gebräunt, das 5 mm dicke Kalbsfleisch selber ein wenig zäh. Der geschmackvolle Erdapfelsalat war zwar lauwarm, nur die dort zusätzlichen (unnötig) geraspelten Gemüsebeilagen machten ihn wieder kalt. Der anschließende Kaiserschmarrn war in seiner Konsistenz zu trocken und zu wenig karamellisiert. Ein Vergleich mit dem Borchardt in Berlin oder dem Landtmann in Wien, halten die verzehrten Speisen qualitativ und quantitativ nicht Stand. Ein Pils oder helles Bier gab es lediglich aus der Flasche. Die häufigen (Alibi)nachfragen, „… ob es denn geschmeckt habe?“, ließen zumindest annähernd eine Reflexion der zuvor unfreundlichen Bedienung erkennen, um im gleichen Atemzug vor sich unverständlich vor sich herzubrabbeln. Um zu erfragen, was sie sagen wollte, kam ein“… och nichts, ich führe immer Selbstgespräche“. Versöhnlich stimmte uns beim Rausgehen der Maître, der konstaniert unsere Unzufriedenheit mitbekam und dem offensichtlich dieses bekannte Personalproblem selber unangenehm war. Im kommenden Frühling/Sommer werden wir im dazugehörigen Garten ein Backhendlsalat, guten Willens, ausprobieren.

Sehr lecker und die Servicekraft sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten den Abend sehr genießen.

Super Erlebnis. Gute Auswahl an österreichischen Spezialitäten. 😋 Vielfältige Weinauswahl. 🍷 Ausgezeichnete Bedienung.

Viel schöner als in die Lokation in Berlin!

Leider mussten wir sehr lange auf unser essen warten. Zudem wurden die Gerichte nicht zeitgleich serviert. Die bestellten Gerichte waren durchweg lecker, jedoch sollte die Größe noch optimiert werden. Auch gab es keine richtigen Biergläser. Abschließend lässt sich sagen die wirklich gute Küche sollte mit einem ebenbürtigen Service flankiert werden.

Es gibt Tage, da ist einfach der Wurm drin. Da wird ein Gericht vergessen, zwei kommen zu spät, Bier wird teilweise aus Weingläsern serviert, ein alkoholfreies ist warm, der Strom in der Küche ist weg etc. Alles möglich, aber ein Sorry oder ein Getränk aufs Haus oder irgendwas gehört für uns in einem solchen Falle einfach dazu. Die hier oftmals angesprochene Wartezeit kann auch bei uns bestätigt werden, allerdings gab es eine Veranstaltung im Obergeschoss und (um positiv zu schließen): Alle Gerichte haben durch die Bank Top geschmeckt. Die Küche macht einen super Job.

We went to this place on a cold night and had no real expectations. The Uber was super late collecting us so we arrived with just five minutes to go expecting the worst. Our concerns were unnecessary as Patrick kept the kitchen open and provided the perfect three course meal! The waitress was attentive and cheerful, unrushed and could not have been more helpful! She even pointed out the “bath room” as she had recognised an Australian phone prefix when we rang to book. How good is that? Finally, when we were leaving, again we had Uber problems as three drivers canceled our ride because they wanted a fair to Berlin. Seeing that we were stuck, Patrick once again leapt to the rescue and ordered and paid for an Uber himself. I could not recommend this place more highly. Old fashioned good food and good values! Love it!

Die Vorspeisen kamen leider nicht zeitgleich, zudem kamen teilweise nicht die bestellten Gerichte. Dies wiederholte sich beim Hauptgang. Der Kaiserschmarren war schließlich stellenweise verbrannt, was als karamellisiert abgetan wurde. Die Marillenknödel waren im Kern noch gefroren. Die Qualität der Vor- und Hauptspeisen war in Ordnung. Die Auswahl der Gerichte und Getränke hat Potenzial, die Umsetzung ist allerdings noch entwicklungsfähig.

Endlich ein Ort, wo man in schönem Ambiente leckere österreichische Küche geniessen kann! Im lauschigen, wunderschön gestalteten Hof sitzt man wunderbar, der Tafelspitzsalat saftig und mit leckerem Dressing, die Rote Beete und Spinatknödel mit viel aromatischen Gemüse perfekt abgeschmeckt, ein saftig-knuspriges Backhendl und das raffinierte Amalfischnitzel mit Zitrone, karamelisierten Zwiebeln und Kapern alles serviert mit einem Kartoffel-Gutkensalat wie er sein soll. Leider zu lecker und viel für‘s Dessert, das wird das nächste Mal probiert.

War echt sehr gut,mir als Österreicher haben nur die Preiselbeeren gefehlt das is ein Muss beim schönen Kalbsschnitzerl sonst hat alles gepasst
