The food was unimaginative and tasteless. Service was impatient. Expensive. It was like an assembly line.

Basically, Osman's Daughters is a nice restaurant. The food is good, but not exceptional, price/performance is okay. I can't quite understand the hype. The manti at the Schlesisches Tor, for example, taste at least as good, if not better. The ambience is nice, but the noise level is sometimes quite high. The service is attentive and friendly. The negative thing to note is that you only have a time slot of 2 hours, which is NOT mentioned when making the reservation. You can't sit for a long time, you're asked to walk, so feed yourself and say goodbye. Doesn't work for me at all, therefore only 3 stars overall.

You should order extra bread straight away. I thought the starting portion was far too small.

Very nice dinner. Cozy space but comfortable. We listened to the waiter’s suggestions and ordered a bunch of different plates to share. Can’t think of one that people didn’t enjoy. All around success.

Unfortunately, we cannot understand the good reviews. The portions are far too small and the prices are therefore too expensive. In addition, the warm meze were lukewarm and got cold very quickly. We also found that the food lacked that certain something in terms of taste - it was simply bland. Potatoes were cold and old, there was a lot of quark but far too little bread or anything else for dipping. The pieces of meat in the manti seemed to have been placed with the tweezers, into something the size of the head of a pin. We know generosity from Turkish cuisine differently. Water was poured into a fancy looking bottle. The only thing that tasted good were the kofta. Overall, you got far too little for the price. Nice vibe, very friendly service as the only advantage. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Cute and cozy neighbourhood restaurant although the portions are extremely small for the prices and the taste is nothing too special, would not say is a traditional Turkish restaurant

Mediocre, overpriced, rather unauthentic food. Berlin has a lot of great Turkish restaurants, but I wouldn't include this one.

Unfortunately, I can't report much euphoria about the experiences we had at dinner here. The stay was ok, you got food, that's it. The dishes had no particular kick and, in my opinion, the warm mezze were rather lukewarm. The table wasn't available at the time we reserved, we had to wait about 10 minutes, which in itself isn't a catastrophe, but they didn't make any effort with us - we more or less stood around in the middle of the restaurant and only when we asked were we given the table.

We celebrated a birthday there and everything went really well. Simply perfect. Many thanks to the team!

An absolutely exceptional restaurant! The combination of innovative, Mediterranean and Ottoman cuisine is simply brilliant. I was particularly impressed by Ceviche à la Turca, lamb ragout with figs and halwa parfait - a true feast for the senses! Every bite was a delight. This will be my first stop on my next visit to Berlin. I can't wait to try the other meze!

Well, the food was very good, I have nothing to say about it, but the prices are very high compared to the portions of the food, I paid 100€ for 2 people and I was not satisfied. Also, when you go to a Turkish restaurant, is your only expectation for food? Do the employees take care of you? 0 interest, and there wasn't even one interested person in the restaurant who spoke Turkish, and the person bringing the food couldn't even pronounce it correctly. I won't come again.

The food here is absolutely incredible. We loved the manti, shrimp, lamb and truffle hummus in particular, but it seems like you can't go wrong here. We were very disappointed with the level of service, though. While the waiter who took our order was kind and helpful, the one who came by at the end of the meal was shockingly rude. Two instances in particular stood out. First, we asked to order dessert (around 10pm -- two hours before close) and were informed that the kitchen had closed. When we asked why he hadn't given us the opportunity to order before then, the waiter indignantly said we had been eating. Very odd and disappointing. Second, he offered a bag for our leftovers and several minutes later as we got up to leave hadn't brought one by. When we politely asked if it was possible to have a bag, he rudely informed us they were out. Overall, it felt like the waiter made every interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. In short: go here for the food, but don't expect good service.

It's a great restaurant, with delicious food and excellent service. The only disadvantage is that it's not suitable for having a quiet conversation... The tables are too close together for that.

Super nice place for some Turkish mezze.

Unfortunately our visit did not live up to expectations. Even when making the reservation there were a few points that left a slightly negative aftertaste. You will be informed in advance that a credit card must be provided, that if you cancel outside of the deadline, €15 per person will be charged and that the tables are occupied twice. Of course, it's good that all of this is communicated transparently, and in a city like Berlin you can understand such measures. Nevertheless, it creates a rather relaxed feeling right from the start - especially if you go out to eat for a higher price and just want to feel comfortable without pressure and time limits. The portions are extremely small and are disproportionate to the high prices. Turkish cuisine is actually known for its generosity - here the opposite was the case. A dollop on your plate just isn't enough, especially if you come hungry. A small flatbread was included for free, but since meze are traditionally eaten with a lot of bread, you could have been more generous here - especially if you're dining for two. So of course we reordered here several times. I am German with Turkish roots and I am aware that many Turkish dishes are very time-consuming to prepare - like the main course 'İçli Köfte', which we ordered to share. But I found paying €12 for two rather narrow İçli Köfte to be overly expensive. Especially since I know the purchase price of the ingredients for it. Another questionable detail: we ordered still water to share, but only received one glass. After we kindly reminded the waiter, he divided it into two small glasses - tap water, mind you, for which we were charged €1.50. If it had been at least a carafe of tap water, I would have been okay with the €1.50. For the price and the concept, we would have liked much more hospitality and generosity, what a shame! I was hoping for a new local bar. We won't be coming back.

Very nice and cozy Turkish restaurant in the heart of Berlin. The service is friendly and the food is fantastic. Unfortunately the beer was not cold and they do not serve in the bottle (unclear why). Unfortunately the lighting did not help the pictures!

It's a place with a wonderful atmosphere, it even has a risk, and the appetizers are amazing. I definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with the service, even by Berlin standards: unmotivated, inattentive (one in particular was completely incompetent), rude and arrogant. We spent around €150 for 5 people

It is very practical to make a reservation on the website and change the reservation later. The environment is very nice and the staff is very friendly. I took my guest and they were very polite. The food is a little expensive, but some of the dishes are very oily rather than the price. Especially the crispy zucchini was so oily I couldn't finish it. But overall I was satisfied and would like to come again. With the advice to pay attention to the fat content🙏🏻

A restaurant that looks inconspicuous from the outside, but is very good in all respects. Although it was well attended, everything went very calmly and without any hectic pace. A very well-coordinated team.

We had a very bad experience there, unfriendly service and we had the feeling to be treated badly just because we didn’t spend as much money as other tables perhaps (even though it was still 25 per person) or I don’t know for which reason. Tap water was refused by one waiter, even though the next one gave us tap water and the other tables received it as well. I cannot recommend this place and I will not come back.

The food is absolutely wonderful, the staff is very nice. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the noise level in the restaurant. Not sure what is up with the acoustics there but even when there were no guests but us and one other table it was so incredibly loud in there I couldn't hear myself think. I will definitely come back, but only in summer when I can sit outside 😅

Very helpful, super friendly service. The atmosphere is cozy, familiar. Very tasty mezze! Gluten free bread possible! We were lucky and were able to get a spot spontaneously.

Loved this place! Such amazing food, lovely low-lit vibes and the customer service was outstanding.

We were at a team event. (Menu, drinks flat rate plus service fee?) Chairs were way too close. You could only eat with one hand + you had to have someone open the food for you. I found it much too dark there. When you try new things, I also like to see what I eat. The desserts were amazing and the bottles of white wine were very good. After 3 hours there was the possibility of extending the event for €10 per person (our bottles we had paid for had not yet been drunk), but instead we were asked to leave as the table had been reserved again for other guests. 😲 That's not possible. The predetermined tip is not ok at all! So the nice atmosphere was over 😖

A so-called scene restaurant. Spent 2.5 hours there. The volume reached a maximum of 94 dB (due to the guests present). The menu didn't make sense to us. Cold dishes, warm dishes. Everything should be ordered at once. Otherwise you'll be full. The crispy sprats I ordered came after 30 minutes and were quite large and dry. We would eat something like that. Take it with you on your next visit.

The restaurant is busy, you should go to Mglk. reserve in advance. The offer includes many different warm and cold mezzes. It is recommended to order 2 mezzes/person. The portions are nicely prepared, but very small. You get one mini flatbread, if you want more, you'll have to pay €2.2 each. A glass of wine costs around €8. Highly recommended for a nice, perhaps special evening. Service and ambience are good. Overall, however, the prices are too high for someone to “come by every now and then”.

That was a nice new experience to experience and taste Turkish cuisine. The Sigara Böregi with sauerkraut alone were amazing. We'll definitely come back.

A touch of Istanbul in Prenzlauer Berg In the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, the restaurant Osman's Daughters offers a culinary short trip to Turkey. If you want to stop by in the evening, you should definitely make a reservation, as the restaurant is busy and the tables are close together. This creates a sociable atmosphere, but it can also get louder at times. Osman's Daughters is priced in the middle segment and offers a variety of “mezes” that are divided into cold and warm dishes. We chose various meze highlights such as goat cheese for around 10 euros, crispy zucchini chips for 8.50 euros, fried sardines for 13.50 euros and manti, filled dumplings with beef, for 15 euros. The portion sizes were manageable but sufficient, and we recommend two dishes per person. With two glasses of wine per person, the two of us came to around 90 euros, which doesn't make the restaurant cheap, but seemed reasonable for the quality and experience. The service was consistently attentive and friendly, which further enriched the evening. However, we had the feeling that the prices were slightly high compared to the portion size. Anyone who values ​​a relaxed, lively atmosphere and enjoys fine Turkish meze will feel at home at Osman's Daughters.

All around good restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is courteous and the atmosphere is between cozy and lively. Not too crowded, not too quiet.

Too bad! It used to be really good. Today arrogant, overpriced, tables set too close and mass processing! We won't be coming back.

What was annoying was the (filtered) tap water (which was not sold cheaply as still water), there was space right at the door and therefore full on the train (although I had to hang up my jacket immediately because of the possibility of passage), but the service was very friendly somewhat forgetful. Overall, it was clearly too tight and I felt pretty ripped off as a guest (with a voucher).

I was totally thrilled. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. We'll be back.

I’d say this is a place you would enjoy if you’ve never had authentic turkish food in Turkey. If you have had some, this place is okay in comparison. The atmosphere is nice, but unfortunately the service is very inattentive and confused.

Ich muss leider sagen, dass wir enttäuscht sind .. unsere Reise führte uns von Hamburg nach Berlin. Als Abschluss wollten wir noch am Abend schön essen gehen. , Die Portionen sind sehr klein gehalten, die Preise überteuert..Die türkische Küche ist für ihre Großzügigkeit bekannt aber hier war es leider nicht so… Nur ein Klecks auf dem Teller .. Mit viel Hunger sollte man nicht dahin gehen, dann müsste man vielleicht ein Vermögen dafür ausgeben, damit man bisschen satt wird…

We wanted to spend a cozy evening in a small group and we couldn't talk without screaming, it was incredibly loud in this restaurant. There are no dishes for children and the kitchen is completely inflexible to respond to requests in this regard. There were 6 of us and a mother went out of the restaurant with her two children 7/10 to buy something to eat nearby. Everyone should decide for themselves about the starter dishes and the prices, but we won't be coming again.

We had reserved a place in advance but still had to wait 10 minutes coz it was full. However, the food was delicious. We ordered but veg and non-veg options. The bread is quite fulfilling so I recommend you to not take it if you ordered multiple dishes.

I'm not judging the food here, I know it from the past and it's very tasty! I judge the reservation process and the opportunity to get in touch here and I personally don't find it very customer-oriented! Asking for credit card details immediately when making a reservation is completely excessive and has an aftertaste for me as a guest! Leaving the table after 2 hours at a business meal is also very unpleasant. Unfortunately, making a reservation by email is very difficult as the response time can sometimes take several days! I would like to see something urgently done here.

Expensive, small portions, unreliable service.

If there were 10 stars I'd want to put 20 Service was flowing like nowhere else in town, and I'm really hard to please on the subject. Starters were refreshing, original, creative super well balanced, they even go the extra mile by giving beautiful name to those dishes. Main courses were so good I almost cleared everyone else's plate at our table. Simply magnificent. Dessert fulfilled its primary job with class and of course the originality that we experienced from the beginning. We drank a few bottles of "La Maitresse" and this added on to the amazing experience as the intensity of that fruity kick at the end stayed in my mouth all along the dinner, even though I didn't wanna drink so much :D Very friendly atmosphere, very warm, even though the room is busy we're far from seeing the usual panic happening in restaurants in Berlin. This place is a blessing. Thank you so much !

Very tasty food and friendly, fast and attentive service. The decor is very chic and cozy. (Also) Apparently very busy during the week. We were particularly impressed by the dessert. The only complaint is that some of the tables are very close together, so you might get closer to the unknown person at the next table than you might like.

We had a reservation and ate there. There is nothing wrong with the food. That was really good. Unfortunately, we were literally kicked out after 1.5 hours, which absolutely disrupted the experience and was highly unprofessional. We were told that the table would be given away afterwards, which no one knew about when we made the reservation. The neighboring table was also irritated. It's about cozy eating and sharing dishes. That was hardly possible in 1.5 hours with friends. For me, typical Berlin hipster nonsense, typical Prenzlauer Berg mania. You can do it, but you don't have to. That has nothing to do with it, we eat and enjoy the evening in peace. Too bad; Unfortunately that ruined the mood. There was no time for dessert. There are other places in Berlin where the quality of the food is just as good and Turkish cuisine is presented authentically.

Fantastic food and Raki. Osmans Töchter is one of my favourite restaurants in Berlin. They serve Turkish food with a modern twist.

Second time we were here for dinner and both times it was a 10/10!! They have a lot of vegan options, even vegan bread. We tried almost all of them and there wasn‘t one we didn’t like. They are all so tasty. Full of flavour, fresh and just really good. The staff was also so kind, we felt very welcomed and had a great evening :)

The hype is real! Located in Prenzlberg, Recommended by Zeit, SZ and what else do I know of other media companies from “Wokistan” (#Satire - please don’t get me wrong 😅) … what could go wrong? Nosh! The concierge is extremely pleasantly friendly, accommodating, customer-oriented... scary - where has the Berlin aggro gone... a lot has happened in the last few years and Osman's daughter's cousin at the reception is the king of nouvelle friendliness. Cool! We speak English... one or the other perfectly... it didn't matter to us, we're fine with both. The entire staff, with plenty of people bustling around the tables, is always nice and tries to make sure you are taken care of. Ambiance - doll kitchen meets 60s Istanbul meets warm colors, meets pragmatism and the rusted back wall at the top is very elegant, shabby chic. The backyard is also very cute. Wine - decent selection… especially smart, inexpensive alternatives to the “Ballermanns” Essen - Njaaaaa… maybe, if necessary, the somewhat critical spirits and previous reviewers could be right in their intersubjective reality at one point or another…. As far as price performance is concerned. But it's all about nuances... It was very, very good - it's not a revelation in the sense of the hype - but still... I like the overall package, from the friendliness, the openness, the stylish taste in the interior design and the whole flavor that is fervently exuded here. You should definitely do it!

Éramos una familia de comida. Deliciosa, llenando la comida, aunque pensamos que los entrantes eran mejores que los platos principales. El personal era muy amable y hablaba bien inglés - había una versión en inglés del menú también. Se aceptó el pago con tarjeta. Lamentablemente era un poco ruidoso por dentro. En una noche cálida tal vez reservar un asiento fuera de usted puede.

An absolute recommendation, very nicely and comfortably furnished, the reception alone was super friendly and you felt welcome, the meal was a feast for the palate, the cold starters were great, the freshly baked, still warm bread was incredibly good, the warm main courses rounded it off Super tasty and top service, can only recommend it! Wow, what a wonderful evening! Four of us had reserved a table and were warmly welcomed. Our service was always friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed the food very much, the absolute highlight was the sea bass ceviche with truffle oil. You can really spend a lovely evening here and feast.

Very nice restaurant with an indoor area and a terrace in the courtyard and on the street. The service is friendly, fast and courteous. The dishes are perfect for sharing in a group. There is a large selection of vegetarian and meat-based dishes, all of which taste very good. In my opinion, authentic cuisine with really delicious dishes. Reservation is recommended.

We love it at Osman's Daughters and are always happy to come back. What sets Osman's Daughters apart is not just the authentic and super tasty food (everything freshly prepared) but also the service and the coziness. The mezze are “to die for”. Every time my 85 year old mother visits Berlin she asks if we can go to Osman's Daughters 😉. We have many wonderful memories of the many times we have been here, whether as a couple or with family or friends. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Only appetizers and drinks are served. We were a little hungry and went to fill up for dinner, but there was no main course. We ordered appetizers, they were delicious but a little small.

The food is ok, and if you get a seat in the back yard it's relatively quiet. The fact that the cold and hot dishes are served so far apart reduces the joy of eating. Once is enough for me.

I am very satisfied every time I come here with my family and friends. We recently went here for the first time for a business lunch for 12 people and the food and service were excellent and they were very helpful in organizing it. They fulfilled our every wish and communication was always very good. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for meze style Turkish food.

Mi marido creció en Estambul, y vivimos en Los Ángeles durante décadas, así que hemos tenido cientos de comidas turcas. Este fue uno de los mejores, estábamos tan encantados de terminar en este lugar caliente - y frío - en lugar de uno de los muchos restaurantes de parrilla en Berlín. Pedimos seis platos para los dos y comimos cada bocado. Sentado afuera en el patio del restaurante, hecho de sombrillas y mesas y sillas algo desvencijadas pero encantadoras. Más agradable que los asientos al aire libre delante, en la calle. Por dentro se veía bien también para una noche más fría.

LOVE. Flavourful food, fast service, good location. Chef’s kiss 👌 As a Turkish person from Izmir living in Berlin, I had given up hope on finding good Turkish food in all its diversity here (ie. Turkish cuisine does not just consist of döner/kebabs!). Delighted to be proven wrong by the diverse and fun menu at Osmans Töchter! Ceviche a la turca was our favourite. Dolma could have been bell pepper or dry aubergine dolma or courgette flower, rather than courgette dolma, but not bad. The pitta bread was sooo good. 8 sharing dishes for 4 of us was quite a lot, could have done without the salad in the middle and maybe just 6 dishes to start with, then decide if we wanted more. Lastly, the mark up on the rakı was a bit wild 😱 A 35 cl bottle for €48?! Yikes. We got it nonetheless because it goes well with the food. Didn’t recognise any of the Turkish wine brands on the menu.

Osman would disinherit his daughters if he found out how expensive they were charging. Food is ok, but nothing more. I have to take out a loan now and I'm still hungry. But service was great. At least Osman taught his children some manners if he raised them to be vultures

This restaurant offers truly original and tasty Turkish cuisine. 2 mezze per person are enough.

Very tasty Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine reimagined. The newly created dishes stand out from the familiar ones. The mentioned open cables on the ceiling are part of the style, still better than ceiling tiles. Service, as usual, just great. We recommend.

We have rarely felt so well looked after. The service is great, always attentive and forward-looking. And unfortunately my stomach is far too small for food - I would have liked to try a lot more. It's a shame there isn't more space, the daughters deserve it!

The food was really delicious, it feels homemade and fresh, like you are visiting a friend who happens to be an excellent chef. We had four dishes, which was a good portion for two people.

Food was ok. Didn't always suit my taste. Prices are rather higher. Service was friendly and accommodating. Turkish restaurant in tapas style. This means you can try out many different dishes.

Disappointing. I paid €11 for 10 slices of zucchini and had to wait 60 minutes for it. When I wanted to order bread with it, it said bread would come twice. Once you've eaten it you can order more. When we ordered some later, it didn't come at all. The table was cleared while we were still eating. When I said sorry, we're still eating, the only comment I received was “take it easy”. The mineral water for €3.40 comes from Sodastream. When I was told that my zucchini and my sodastream water cost €15.60 and I said “okay then €15.60”, the price was announced repeatedly until I gave a tip. An impudence. Did I mention that the prices for these very small plates are really reasonable?
