Osman Baba in Heidenheim an der Brenz

I'd only heard good things about this restaurant and was really looking forward to it. I didn't find the food particularly good. I had a falafel burger with fries. The burger really tasted like nothing, even though it had a lot of components (bun, falafel, avocado cream, hummus, etc.). The fries were quite good. The service was very friendly and attentive.

We had the New Year's Eve menu at the König restaurant 😃. It was a culinary highlight. Each of the six courses was lovingly prepared and tasted excellent. The service was, as always, attentive and friendly. The timing was perfect. 👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Unfortunately, the main course arrived with the appetizer, and then the main course itself was very bad. Since someone was smoking in the next room and the smoke drifted into the main room, it was very unpleasant. A wasted evening.

We visited the Pfauen during asparagus season. Naturally, we treated ourselves to asparagus dishes. The service staff was consistently attentive, friendly, and competent. The recommended wine paired perfectly with the asparagus. The food itself was first-class. I've never eaten asparagus cooked to such a perfect doneness. The Pfauen team truly knows their craft. We'll be back.

Very nice, old-style ambiance. Generous portions at fair prices. Extremely attentive and friendly staff. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 12.
