Been here for the Christmas party. Very nicely prepared, great decoration. The food was very tasty and visually beautifully presented.

I have to say a lot of praise! A few Gnaier branches had a Christmas party on November 24th, 2024. We had the very large hall on the upper floor and there were around 70 people, The service staff who were responsible for us did a great job and kept an overview of everything. The food was simply delicious and there was something for everyone😊 I would be happy to come back and recommend you to others

We celebrated our baptism in the king this weekend. The service was more than accommodating and nothing was ever left unfulfilled. The food was simply a poem and the cooking level of the meat couldn't be more perfect. The guests also took advantage of the variety on the dessert menu, making it a sweet end to a great evening

This inn leaves you speechless, it couldn't be better We were allowed to be guests there and enjoyed it.

Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend. Das Preisniveau ist gehobenen, aber für die Qualität absolut angemessen. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich mit saisonalen Angeboten. Der Service super freundlich, obwohl das Restaurant voll besetzt war mit größeren Gesellschaften. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Everything fine!!!! Great selection of delicious, own beers. Long opening hours over lunch. Even though I arrived less than an hour before closing time, the kitchen was ready to offer me the full selection from the large menu. Thank you for that!!!! The Schäufele we ordered was very tasty and beautifully prepared. I'd love to come back!

Onion roast was medium rare as requested and very tasty. Of course the other dishes were very good. The dishes in Oggenhausen were not cold but very warm (delicious).

We came to the König for the first time; I was already working in Schnaitheim, but we still lived in Göppingen. We've also had delicious meals here with the company a few times. Today was the first time that my wife and I had dinner here again since we have been living in Nattheim. In short: an all-round perfect evening 🙌🏼 Asparagus salad with burrata and the pink roast beef with 3 different dips were the starters, the main course was medallions with Calvados cream and spaetzle or Maultaschen with fried egg and as a dessert to share the rhubarb parfait... Everything was super delicious and simply tasty 😋 There were also various delicious hefeweizen and one or two beer spritzes for my wife 🍻🥂 For dessert, an espresso ☕️ and a smoky Ardbeg Scotch 🥃 The whole thing combined with a very cozy location, friendly and attentive service at all times and absolutely reasonable prices... What more could you want ✔️ We will without a doubt come here many more times. The king is and remains an exception in the region 🙏🏻

We had dinner there last Friday with several people. We had to wait an hour for our food to arrive. Two people had the fried meat loaf, which normally doesn't take long to prepare. Then everyone's fries were cold and the fried potatoes were undercooked. The meat from the “Cordon Rouge” was also quite stringy. We complained but paid normally and in the end we are really dissatisfied. Since it was the second time with a bad experience there, we will now avoid the “King”.

I travel a lot, but that was awesome. I have never eaten Maultaschen as good as here. Extremely nice service. We went there two days in a row.

Beautiful garden restaurant with flexible opening hours, which do not always correspond to the times published on the internet. Unfavorable if you arrive by bike and then they just say we're opening later today.

Freundlicher Service, musste allerdings nach dem ersten Getränk etwas warten bis ich nachbestellen konnte. Etwas unpraktisch finde ich den Platz des Salatbuffet direkt am Tresen. Essen war prima, wobei zum Paillard vom Kalb durchaus eine leichtere Beilage als Risotto zu überlegen wäre. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung.

We were here for dinner on Easter Monday evening, in the upper dining room, with 7 people. We were all thrilled, and the chef here is probably also a food designer - this is where the eye is particularly impressed, every dish was so lovingly prepared. There is something for every taste and the portions are large. We would all love to come back. update: this time we sat outside in the beer garden in the evening. Even when it rained, we sat outside in the dry. Side salads are available from the buffet here. And that is rich. There are decent portions and the price is correspondingly high given the quality. Cress, sprouts, long chives and some popcorn as decoration alongside the obligatory wafer-thin, crispy sheet of dough. Without a reservation you have no chance, even on a Tuesday evening. But we found the following unfair: we were here from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All tables were reserved, but no information was given as to when. Two of the large tables next to us remained empty during these two hours. First a couple came around 6:30 p.m. and were succinctly told off that all tables were reserved. Without asking how long they plan to stay and without checking when which table will be reserved. Around 7:30 p.m. two cyclists arrived in pouring rain. These were also simply turned away in this weather without checking anything. There was a free space at our table and a chair could have been added. We would have liked to have included the cyclists at our table. I just found it terribly heartless how cyclists were treated here in the pouring rain. There would have been room for two people at two other tables without any problem... That deducts one star from the service.

We ate there with a larger group and everything was done in a friendly and accommodating manner from the time we made the reservation to the time we made it. Everyone was thrilled with both the look and the taste of the food. The visit is worthwhile whether as a couple or in a group. 😀

Unfortunately not as good as last time. The salad buffet was very clear and the marinade was very salty. The fish was bland and the asparagus risotto was reminiscent of Kässpätzle. The fried potatoes were black and so were the potato wedges. I had a food moth constantly flying around my face...not very appetizing! The toilets could use some renovation! We then had an espresso on the house...that's not enough. Since I have a very sensitive stomach, I can easily judge how the food is cooked after visiting a restaurant. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well at home that evening. Mediocre food with too much chi chi

Mega delicious food. One of the best restaurants in the region. Highly recommended, onion roast and the changing desserts. Price performance is a little higher but quality has its price. Unfortunately I was only able to take photos of the dessert :-)

We had a delicious meal, had very attentive service, the salad buffet was very appealing, clean and extremely tasty. The menu is well laid out, the offerings are quite sufficient, and there are dishes for every taste. I ordered a special sauce that I could have dipped my toe into, it's so delicious. The interior is tastefully and harmoniously furnished. There is even a children's play corner. We felt very well looked after outside. The waitress even brought cushions for the rustic benches in a really beautifully designed outdoor area. The prices are definitely justified. If you are more than 2 people you should reserve in advance. Great team, great kitchen, you do it really, really well

A colleague gave me this restsurant as a tip. The recommendation was worth it. The portions here are plentiful and taste very good. There is always a recommendation here that is not on the menu. It is highly recommended to listen more closely here. The beer was okay. The service was super attentive and extremely friendly. Conclusion: A little more expensive but also a little better than usual at other brewery inns.
