Cozy restaurant, friendly but naturally stressed service (it's always very busy). The lunch portion was really generous. It wasn't exactly my taste as I personally felt it lacked spice, but next time I'll try something new, and I don't think I'll be disappointed and get a 5th star.☺️ Update: I went there again and was thrilled by a perfectly prepared Zwiebelrostbraten (onion roast beef)!!! The Wiener Schnitzel was also a delight😊 The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very cozy. Despite the full house, the noise level was reasonable. Requests were accommodated, and there was no long wait for the dishes. I'm looking forward to the next lunch with you😋

The only criticism I could offer is that it's often almost impossible to get a table. The interior is very quaint and cozy, with a lovely beer garden that's also perfect for a nice drink in the summer. Very friendly service and excellent food. Highly recommended.

Nice beer garden, but service is a must for me. Ordering via QR code, which is difficult to photograph, isn't that great. On the plus side, the atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious. A wheat beer in a light glass isn't typical for a beer garden either. A wheat beer glass is what you'd call it.

Here I was able to charge my smartphone and e-bike batteries while enjoying a delicious meal. Thank you for your hospitality.

You wait a very long time for your food—50 minutes. You get the potato salad 15 minutes before it's served, even though it comes with the Maultaschen.

Were there last week and I was so looking forward to the breaded veal schnitzel, unfortunately it only tasted like breadcrumbs and I ordered gravy to go with it, which was too strong and salty. Then a strawberry cup, the strawberries were still frozen and the vanilla ice cream with crystal pieces. And that with the prices... It's a shame, unfortunately I can't recommend it.

The König brewery restaurant in Oggenhausen is highly recommended! The cuisine is first class - every dish we tried was excellently prepared and tasted to the point. I would also like to mention the appealing salad buffet, with its great variety - fresh, lovingly prepared and something for every taste. The ambience is convincing: stylishly furnished with great attention to detail, so that you immediately feel at home. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating - hospitality really comes to life here. A clear recommendation for me – we will definitely come back!

Restaurant is definitely recommended. Main course was very, very tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately, tartar wasn't my taste (Tip: Instead of a baked egg, try a raw one, e.g. quail egg - it gives the dish more moisture and consistency.) Meat had a strange note! Desert tasted great... but too much trimmings (decoration) for my taste. Still a successful evening!

The food was really good and ready quickly. The service was a bit annoying, as they came by every five minutes to ask if everything was okay, but otherwise everything was fine. I highly recommend this restaurant; I'll definitely go again!

We were passing through from Austria. Had dinner there by chance. Never had such a good cream soup with apple and celery. I'm still raving about it now. Mmmm delicious Likewise the Viennese style schnitzel. Huge portion that also tasted fabulous. The prices are simply fair for what is on offer. We were very very satisfied. I'm already looking forward to the next time :)

Beautifully presented, super good and always a fitting poem. I was able to enjoy the Surf & Turf Burger in an always beautifully decorated feel-good atmosphere and was served a very fine rosé. We wanted to see the king and it was royal. At the age of 46, I have never felt so well cared for. I would like to give the staff 10 points. I have never been served so attentively and friendly. As a small example, I would like to point out that a small flower vase was even brought to the table because we had a flower with us. The food was excellent. The ox cheeks and the roast were a real treat. I can only warmly recommend the king. Price performance is very good and reasonable. I would have even paid a little more, it's definitely worth it. !!

Ich habe noch nie so guten Rehrücken gegessen. Ein Traum.

I was on my way to Giegen to the Steiff Museum by bike. To I stopped by there at lunchtime and had lunch. There was turkey schnitzel with rice and pepper cream sauce and salad. It wasn't anything special but it was very tasty and I was able to continue my bike tour strengthened. The beer garden is very nice.

We came to the König for the first time; I was already working in Schnaitheim, but we still lived in Göppingen. We've also had delicious meals here with the company a few times. Today was the first time that my wife and I had dinner here again since we have been living in Nattheim. In short: an all-round perfect evening 🙌🏼 Asparagus salad with burrata and the pink roast beef with 3 different dips were the starters, the main course was medallions with Calvados cream and spaetzle or Maultaschen with fried egg and as a dessert to share the rhubarb parfait... Everything was super delicious and simply tasty 😋 There were also various delicious hefeweizen and one or two beer spritzes for my wife 🍻🥂 For dessert, an espresso ☕️ and a smoky Ardbeg Scotch 🥃 The whole thing combined with a very cozy location, friendly and attentive service at all times and absolutely reasonable prices... What more could you want ✔️ We will without a doubt come here many more times. The king is and remains an exception in the region 🙏🏻

Unser Besuch beim König war wie immer toll. Tolles Ambiente, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und leckeres Essen. Eine Kleinigkeit, die ich zu bemängeln habe ist, dass der grüne Salat am Salatbuffet ausgetrocknet und dadurch nicht sehr ansprechend aussah und dementsprechend schmeckte. Ansonsten kommen wir immer wieder gerne.

Trotz das etwas schief gelaufen ist, (Es wurde ein anderes Essen als bestellt ausgeliefert) wurde alles zur Zufriedenheit und in kürzester Zeit gerettet. Essen ist eh unschlagbar im Geschmack, Optik und Ambiente.

The food was beautifully presented but the overall atmosphere in the restaurant was stressful and annoyed. The “Riesenberg” salad was shockingly large. The prices are very high, but unfortunately we weren't very impressed with the taste. Unfortunately it was too late for dessert...

I have to say a lot of praise! A few Gnaier branches had a Christmas party on November 24th, 2024. We had the very large hall on the upper floor and there were around 70 people, The service staff who were responsible for us did a great job and kept an overview of everything. The food was simply delicious and there was something for everyone😊 I would be happy to come back and recommend you to others

We celebrated our baptism in the king this weekend. The service was more than accommodating and nothing was ever left unfulfilled. The food was simply a poem and the cooking level of the meat couldn't be more perfect. The guests also took advantage of the variety on the dessert menu, making it a sweet end to a great evening

Even though I arrived less than an hour before closing time, the kitchen was ready to offer me the full selection from the large menu. Thank you for that!!!!
