Schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Erwachsene Büffet:€25.50 Kinder ab 11Jahren: €25,50 !!! Kinder bis 10Jahre: €12,50 !!! Für unsere beiden Kinder (5&11) haben wir sage und schreibe €38,- bezahlt - ohne Getränke!! Für ein mittelmäßiges China-Büffet, Da unsere Kinder eher unterdurchschnittlich viel essen, kann man sich vorstellen, wie wir uns fühlten, als wir für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder eine Rechnung über €120,- präsentiert bekamen… Bei diesem Preis erwartet man doch zurecht eine 1a Qualität und Bedienungen, die der deutschen oder mindestens der englischen Sprache mächtig sind…. Korrekte Getränkebestellungen waren weder auf Deutsch noch auf Englisch möglich. Erst die Oberkellnerin konnte weiterhelfen. Wir werden das Lokal künftig meiden.

Ambience very good/modern for such a large restaurant with the huge selection at the buffet. Quality of ingredients very good. There is something for every taste.

We've heard this several times and can only say that this time we were really disappointed. On the one hand you first had to look for someone who then said yes, look for a table and on the other hand the children's chair or chairs are a joke. It's actually not really possible to buckle up. Almost all of the chairs are broken or falling apart. The food was partially dried out (fried noodles) or not cooked through. The service, well. Despite feedback that the food wasn't really good. No apology or anything. That was our last visit

Had food picked up via toogood togo, worth 15€ for 5€. I wasn't expecting much for 5€ but it's not worth more. If you like tofu you can enjoy 50% of it. The rest is cheap convenience and rice, so I don't have to go to Mainz p

Nice local food lukewarm staff not friendly

Unfortunately, the quality and the selection have decreased. The food from the Tepanyaki grill is simply not recommended, right from the start. The grill chef cooks everything through and it just tastes dry and over-seasoned, so it doesn't matter what sauce you add to it. The robot may be a nice gimmick, but if the cart is full, the restaurant is full, and the guests are unable to unload the robot, then it happens that the food simply comes to the table cold. Every waiter is simply faster, even if they can only carry two plates. The sushi selection is sometimes so thin that it's no longer worth going there. It can then take a very long time for it to be refilled. The filling is also saved; initially there was a lot of sushi with fish, but on the last visit it was mainly overripe avocado or cucumber. Unfortunately, the second star can only be seen on average.

Booked a table for 7 p.m. At this point there were about 6 more tables occupied. After asking several times, finally, after about half an hour, someone agreed to take our drinks order. My absolute favorite restaurant. I finally managed to eat there again with the whole family. Every visit is a special highlight. The food is great and there is something for everyone. The service is quick and friendly. Every time we visit we are warmly welcomed by the owners. We'll definitely be back soon. P.S. Enough free parking spaces available.

Food ok, quality of stay could be improved as the room isn't bright enough...

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. The food has been greatly reduced and there is not as much choice. There are not enough employees working on service. Taste is okay. But in the end you end up with around €30 per person, including drinks. And for that you get a really decent meal at an Italian restaurant.

It used to be better but definitely worth a visit if you're craving Asian food. 👍 On the topic of TooGoodToGo: I find it a disgrace that there are people among the reviews here who complain about SAVED food (WHAT OTHERWISE LANDS IN THE TRASH) and is still of good quality. That is not the principle of saving food. Yes, you get a finished aluminum box. FOR 5€. Also, don't let the bad reviews tell you anything. There were only stingy, resentful people at work. You consciously decide to save LEFTovers. If someone wants to get something from the buffet, they should pay the damn buffet and not complain. Likewise, the requirement that the food must be of star quality. For €5 I got a box twice in two days and you can't get food anywhere for the few euros. I was definitely full afterwards.

The food is delicious, but the selection in the evening buffet is not as large as at other Asian buffets. Unfortunately, almost nothing is refilled when the store is not full.

Impudence!!!! We just ordered curry with CRISPY chicken and received a loveless dish with frozen vegetables and limp, NOT crispy chicken. In addition there is the otopic price of 16 euros per curry!!!! I'm angry that you're being ripped off like this. It's unreasonable to offer something like that to your guests! Never again !

A bit grubby. Food is on the floor and is not removed by service. We ate buffet. Plates that were ordered for the grill were not delivered by the robot. After complaining to Cefin, a meal was not charged. Were there for the second time and also the last time. A pity.

HORROR restaurant. Extra dark atmosphere for those who like it. Extremely bad lighting so you can't see the food properly. The lunch buffet lasts until 2:30 p.m. We were there at 1:00 p.m. and only half of the buffet was still on offer and was lukewarm. It also tasted correspondingly lukewarm. At the end the waitress didn't ask how it was because she was aware of the answer.

We were there at lunchtime and the buffet wasn't really replenished after 1 p.m. Although the lunch buffet lasts until 2:30 p.m. That was a shame, the pasta was cold and the mushrooms and aubergines were completely empty. The food labels were wrong on at least 4 signs and therefore a bit confusing because you didn't know exactly what you were eating. But the taste is actually quite good. The waitress was very rude to us from the start. There wasn't much going on and yet our empty plates sat on our table for quite a while.

We arrived at 9:00 p.m. (the restaurant is open until 10:30 p.m. on Thursdays) and the buffet looked like it was about to close. Many plates were completely empty, other things were unsightly and dried out (especially the sushi and the sauces). Nobody seemed to care about the buffet. At the beginning we weren't really welcomed and had to ask what the restaurant was like after we had found a seat. It should also be mentioned that there were very few guests there at the time of our visit, which might have justified one or two points of criticism. The homemade iced tea was also carelessly prepared (gingerale with lemon and ice). The only positive thing was the cleanliness of the toilets and the robot that served the food from the grill station. We were very dissatisfied with our visit and were annoyed about the money we had spent there when we left the restaurant.

Ich bin enttäuscht von Auswahl an Essen wie nur Reste vom Vortag und das um 12-13 Uhr am Sonntag. Beim Teller abräumen auf die Qualität hingewiesen keine Reaktion vom Personal. Schade für die Freude zum Essen. Der Preis ist gestaffelt komisch was soll das. Ich werde keine Weiterempfehlung geben.

Too good to go order. There was almost nothing in the box that you are not used to with too good to go. Sometimes just cold fries and vegetables of no quality. Food was either too salty or not salted at all. had NOTHING to do with Asian cuisine.

A very modern, huge restaurant. Personally, it was too big and, above all, too loud for me. The high ceiling has an enormous sound effect, which unfortunately comes at the expense of relaxation. A soundproof blanket would be a solution here. The buffet was attractive, but the food should be better kept warm, from the counter to the seat and the food is currently lukewarm, unfortunately this also applies to the freshly fried meat, which is served with the help of a robot. That's a shame because the quality of the meat itself is very good. This urgently needs to be improved.

Very nice restaurant with a buffet concept. We were there for lunch during the week and took advantage of the basic offer without a grill. The selection was large and only a small portion was kept warm and always freshly refilled. We were very happy with the selection. The vegetarian had many options and everyone loved the good seasoning. Often you only find very bland dishes on buffets, that was definitely not the case here, everything was authentic and strong. The service was quick and friendly, the coffee was very good and we felt very comfortable. Gladly again !

Unfortunately it's just a run-of-the-mill Asian restaurant, I expected better food from a restaurant below the ScheckIn Center. The one time I was there was also the last time. There are better shops in Mainz that are more worth a visit.

We've been here several times and always enjoyed getting food from "Too Good To Go". Recently, it seems that you can no longer decide for yourself at the buffet what to put in your aluminum bowl, but instead it is put together carelessly by employees. I had 80% fried things (vegetables, meat, fish, with a little vegetable sauce, in between there were also 3 fried bananas, very suitable when you combine spicy sauce with fried bananas at the same time) thanks for that :D 10,000+ bags saved according to the Too Good To go app. I don't understand how you can throw away such success. You could get sushi here earlier, or combine delicious sauces with some rice or fried noodles. Now it's just greasy "stuff" thrown together carelessly. The only explanation for the change that comes to mind here is that the operators fear for their customer base because "too many" people are ordering through "Too Good To Go". So a sensible thing, namely saving food from the bin, unfortunately has to give way to the operators' desire for sales? It's a shame if my assumption is correct. In any case, I won't be coming anymore, neither to the buffet nor to the Too Good to Go.

Absolutely unsuitable for too good to go. I received a box with almost exclusively fried things: spring rolls, fried fish, etc. Unfortunately there was no rice, noodles or anything else like that. Leider bin ich noch gar nicht in den Genuss des Restaurants gekommen, der Grund hierfür: Meine Preisanfrage! Auf der Homepage wird damit geworben, das es Freitag bis Sonntag und an Feiertagen 25,50€ kostet außer an Ostersonntag, Ostermontag, Weihnachten usw.(was eh schon ein Unding ist, Feiertag ist Feiertag) soweit so gut. Es kommt aber noch besser.... Als ich dann den Preis angefragt hatte für Ostersonntag, konnte man mir noch keinen Preis nennen. Der Chef würde das in den nächsten Tage bekannt geben :-) Knapp 2 Wochen vor Ostern weiß man noch nicht, was man an den Osterfeiertagen dem Gast berechnen will???? Ostern kommt auch ganz plötzlich... Nun gut, das war meine erste und letzte Erfahrung mit dem Restaurant..... Aber nach den Rezessionen zu urteilen kann ich froh sein, das der Chef so unentschlossen ist.

Can only speak for ordering with Too Good To Go. The food was poorly packaged (unfortunately the box leaked) and the contents only consisted of vegetables and a maximum of 10 spring rolls, which is to be expected since it is a surprise box but is still disappointing and not worth €5. But it looked nice inside and picking it up went great. But I wouldn't recommend it for people who want to order a Too Good To Go box.

I have come to Osakii Pan many times with TooGoodToGo and I have also convinced many friends to come. Today I was back after a long time and now you get pre-made bowls, although you could previously fill them according to your wishes. My bowl was only filled with fried things and chicken nuggets. All things that I would rather not eat. Five euros is simply too much for two chicken nuggets and a few small pieces of chicken. If I had known that you could get filled boxes, I wouldn't have come today :/I won't come by anymore and I don't recommend anyone to come via TooGoodToGo!!!!

Wir waren Samstagabend zum Büffet da. Es war sehr voll und wir kamen uns vor wie in einer Kantine.Es war sehr laut und überall liefen die Gäste rum. Der Service war nett . Doch nun zum Essen, Frühlingsrollen so gut wie ohne Füllung, Frit. Calamarisringe und Hühnchen fast roh. Die Scampies nicht geschält in einer Soße. Die knusprike Ente sehr hart und von schlechter Qualität. Viele Gerichte waren nur lauwarm. Man steht oft vor leeren Behältern, es dauert lange bis nachgefüllt wird. An der Grillstation Tintenfisch, Scampies und Lachs gewählt, alles war total trocken gebraten. Den Tintenfisch konnte ich gar nicht essen, sehr hart wie eine Schuhsohle. Die anderen Fleischsorten am Grillbuffet sahen auch nicht sehr appetitlich aus. Die Dessertstation war kpl. leer und es dauerte ewig bis sie wieder aufgefüllt wurde. Das Bier war das beste. Absolut keine Empfehlung.

I could tell from her tone and attitude that some Too Good to Go customers have already complained. I ultimately got my money back through Too Good togo. But after this experience I can only advise against this!

Not very cheap, but the food is worth it. In terms of quality, the best Asian all you can eat restaurant in Mainz The dishes are all very fresh, rich and varied. The service robot is also funny. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. Staff friendly. The only downside was that when we made our reservation by phone, we should have been told that the restaurant would only be open until 2 p.m. before lunch. So we only had an hour to eat. Clear recommendation, we would like to come back, then with a little more time to eat.

In terms of ambience, Japanese style, the restaurant is impressive. The service is OK As far as the food goes, I still see a lot of room for improvement. We were there at lunchtime and opted for the buffet, which tasted ok, unfortunately I mean something different by hot dishes. But maybe things will look different in the evening.

UPDATE: the owners are trying to remove my review and are threatening me with legal action. Be careful what you get yourself into if you want to eat here. Many people who write reviews don't want to go back and forth about justifying themselves to Google and disclosing their personal information. So I think that many bad reviews have already been removed and the actual rating of this restaurant is well below 4 stars. - This was a terrible experience, I was there with my family and the management yelled at the employees for small things. There was also a table there that was cordoned off and when we approached it out of curiosity, we saw MAGS on the ceiling. This is absolutely disgusting! How can a shop like this still be open?

It is a fairly large restaurant with a large selection of buffet dishes. It is refilled regularly before it is completely empty. The service is quite friendly, it is clean, as are the toilets. Prices are moderate.

Schöne Location, das Essen war alles andere leider. Am Buffet waren viele Sachen nicht verfügbar. Es wurde nach langem warten aufgefüllt. Der Mitarbeiterin teilte ich mit wohin die Ente kommt, nachdem sie im Bereich der Nachspeise danach suchte. Es hat alles leider nach E Geschmack geschmeckt. Der Fisch war nicht frisch. Er stank leider zu sehr. Nicht mal die Nudeln waren gut. Einfach nichts hat nach was geschmeckt.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Osaki China Buffet Restaurant and my experience there was nothing but positive. At a price of €25 per person for a buffet of this quality, you really can't complain. Particularly noteworthy is the freshness and quality of the food. Every course, from the starter plate to the dessert, was always fresh and crunchy, which is not always a given at a buffet. The staff deserves special recognition for their friendliness and attentiveness. Every employee always strived to make the experience perfect, and they achieved that. The ambience in the restaurant is inviting and cozy, ideal for family meals or special occasions. We have visited the restaurant on various occasions and have never been disappointed. The price-performance ratio is excellent, especially considering that for €25 you have the opportunity to enjoy several courses. I can fully recommend the Osaki China Buffet Restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit.

I've tried the lunch buffet and the evening buffet a few times. So far it has always been average, just like other Asian buffet restaurants. Recently, however, at lunchtime, among other things, The fish was not refilled, not even after 45 minutes. We picked up food there in the evening about a week ago via "Too good to go". The food was served in disposable packaging. Some things were specially fried again, including sushi. Since when did people eat sushi fried?! Otherwise very nice ambience, the food itself was varied and varied. Sehr schönes Lokal, aufmerksame Bedienung. Essen war sehr gut, zwar nur warm, aber das kennt man ja bei Büfett.

Schlechter geht’s kaum noch. Es ist eine Schande für ganz Asien. Das Restaurant wirbt mit Buffett, All you can eat, bis bis 22 Uhr am Abend. Wir kamen um 21 Uhr und fanden ein eingetrocknetes, leer geräumtes Buffett vor. Die Wärmebrücken wurden bereits ausgeschaltet! Somit gab es kaltes Hähnchen mit Erdnuss-Sauce, kalte Tintenfischringe usw. Es ist ja verständlich, dass man um 21 Uhr nicht nochmal ein neues Buffett aufbaut, aber kann man dann nicht das vergangene Essen abräumen und den Gast auf Bestellung sein Essen servieren? Es ist echt schade, dass man hier so ein Fraß als Asiatische Küche angeboten bekommt. Die Salate und das Sushi sahen gut aus, aber keine große Auswahl.

Wir waren heute spontan mit 5 Personen erstmalig hier zum Essen in Buffetform. Die Speisen sind allesamt sehr gut und der Service ist aufmerksam und zuverlässig. Die leeren Teller wurden angemessen schnell vom Tisch abgeräumt und auch die Getränkeversorgung war zu jeder Zeit gewährleistet. Die Raumluft war sehr angenehm und die Kleidung roch nach dem Restaurantbesuch nicht so nach Essen wie im Asiaworld. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank, sie haben unseren Abend noch gerettet.

Das Ambiente ist gut, sehr laut,aber damit muss man rechnen bei einer so hohen Anzahl an Sitzplätzen. Buffet war leider nicht gut gefüllt und der Service auch nicht optimal. Tisch war trotz Reservierung nicht eingedeckt, Karte nur auf Nachfrage und Getränkebestellung wurde auch vergessen. Geschmacklich war es gut und das Fleisch frisch. Kann man mal machen, allerdings erwarte ich bei rund 40€ p.P. ein bisschen mehr.

Büffelte-Essen ist vielfältig, gut, aber ohne besonderen Pfiff. Nachtisch-Büffet war zerwühlt und abgeräumt. Obst hatte gute Qualität. Service was sehr freundlich.

Das Essen ist recht teuer (23€ pro Person am Buffet; ohne Getränke) und die Auswahl eher bescheiden. Ich empfehle Speisen vom Menü, nicht vom Buffet. Man bemerkt, dass das Sushi dort eher günstig gemacht wird und nicht mit dem vergleichbar ist, was man auf Bestellung ordern kann. Gegen halb Zehn waren einige Speisen auch fast leer, wobei auf Wunsch hin nachgefüllt wurde. Vegetarische Optionen hat man, allerdings neben gebratenen Nudeln nicht wirklich viele. Grüner Tee wird einfach per Teebeutel serviert – ginge stilvoller. Das Ambiente ist, für ein Restaurant in einem Supermarkt-Komplex, ganz gut gelungen und auch die Bedienung war freundlich. Was gar nicht ging: Hai am Buffet zu servieren! Eine stark bedrohte Tierart (mit großen Konsequenzen für das Ökosystem) gehört hier nicht billig verscherbelt. Gerne einen Stern mehr, wenn Haifisch zukünftig nicht mehr angeboten wird!

Bretzel, Brötchen, Baguette, Pommes gehören für mich absolut nicht auf ein chinesisches Buffet. Sushireis ist kein guter Klebereis - eher körnig. Zusätzlich total vertrocknet. Wir waren um 18 Uhr da - ich gehe davon aus, dass das Buffet von Mittags noch war. Alles war sehr vertrocknet. Nachtisch: Ein Witz. Wirklich nicht gut. Service war super. Aber das Essen - sorry, aber das war das letzte mal.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal mit Freunden da. Das Buffet hatte eine super Auswahl, es war immer genug da. Alles war sehr lecker. Das einzige Manko war, dass die Bedienung erst auf Nachfragen unsere zweite Runde Getränke gebracht hat und der Teller beim Grill vertauscht wurde. Das sind aber alles Dinge, die mal passieren können, vorallem an einem Samstagabend.
