We visited this restaurant today – the sushi was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. Everything was beautiful, tidy, and clean, and the food was prepared in less than 10 minutes.

We went to Osaka for my birthday and, as always, were not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the food is simply delicious. From the appetizers to the dessert, everything tastes truly fabulous. We always enjoy coming here (even making the trip from Dortmund) and would recommend it to anyone.

The sushi was fresh, creatively presented, and tasted very high. I'd especially like to highlight the attentive and friendly service—I've rarely been greeted and served so warmly! The price is also more than fair for the quality offered. All in all, a fantastic experience—I'll definitely be back.

Although the ambiance, if you can call it that, is simple due to the restaurant's architecture, the owner has placed great emphasis on creating an authentic atmosphere. The sushi is of truly excellent quality, which isn't easy to find in Germany. Plus, the price/performance ratio is excellent. We'd be happy to come back.

A small, family-run restaurant. Everything from bowls to sushi is delicious and reasonably priced! You can also order for pickup!

We've been eating there regularly for years, at least once a month. Friends we've brought with us have always wanted to come back; so it's not just us. ;-) The food is always excellent, the service always friendly and attentive. Minor issues like a guest's injuries are proactively and discreetly addressed. As a guest, I've rarely felt as valued as I do here. The sushi is the best I've ever eaten. The "something different" creations are also very successful. The only downside to the place? Over the last year, it's increasingly evolved from an almost intimate insider tip into a popular restaurant. I'm therefore slowly recommending reservations. (No, seriously: I'm really happy for the owners; they more than deserve it!)

The quality is consistently excellent, the sushi is fresh, and the taste is simply amazing. The service is also incredibly friendly – ​​I've rarely been welcomed so warmly. The food is super fresh, handmade and incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, there aren't enough people working here and when it's a little more crowded, you sometimes have to wait up to 1 1/2 hours for your food, which is of course annoying. But everything else is great!

Personally, I really like being here, the atmosphere is really nice and, above all, gives a good Japanese impression! The food is also excellent and really good for the price. An extremely big problem that often stops me from eating at Osaka is the waiting time after you order and the time you have to wait before you can even order. 1 hour waiting time for the food is really unbelievable and I know the staff may not be much, but it should still be possible to prepare the food in under an hour. Otherwise everything is really nice! For the 5th star, I would simply like the food to be prepared a little faster.

I've been eating here regularly for years and also picking things up for home. I can warmly recommend that everyone do the same. It's by far my favorite place to go for sushi and the price is very good compared to other restaurants especially of this quality! The sushi rice is always perfect and the remaining ingredients are fresh. You receive warm service and leave with a comfortable feeling. Exemplary!

I can only say good things about the food! The unique sushi creations are particularly impressive - creative, excellent in taste and simply incredibly delicious. The price-performance ratio is more than fair compared to other stores, which makes the whole thing even more attractive. Since my first visit, I have been drawn here again and again because the quality remains consistently high and the overall package is just right. The service sometimes takes a little longer as there are not many employees on site, but this is more than compensated for by the friendliness of the team and the great atmosphere. All in all a great shop that I can recommend to everyone!

Osaka Sushi in Wuppertal is simply our favorite place when it comes to sushi! We've tried many different sushi restaurants, but we've been coming here for years because the quality is simply unbeatable. The quality of the fish is always excellent and the preparation is always top notch. The team is super friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting. If you love good sushi, you should definitely try Osaka Sushi. We always enjoy coming back and highly recommend it!

The Osaka Sushi was a shot in the dark for me. All I can say is it was a direct hit. I had edamame as a starter and the summer special for the main course, which consisted of mango salmon uramaki, avocado maki and oshinoko maki. The edamame were a bit salty but exactly to my taste. All sushi was very well crafted, well presented and the proportions of the components were harmonious. The salmon was great, fresh and tasty. Ginger and wasabi aromatic, the ginger fresh. The ambience is very good for a Japanese restaurant in the Ruhr area. You can see that the owner wants to keep it original Japanese but in my opinion can take a lot more risk. For me, Osaka Sushi is an absolute recommendation. Based on a recommendation, I asked for a baked Futo Maki. This is also an absolute pleasure.

An für sich ein guter Sushi Laden wenn da nicht schon zum 2. mal der Maguro Sashimi faserig, alt und minderwertig geschmeckt hätte und daher im Grunde genommen nicht essbar war. Wir haben dann nach dem Verzehr von ein, zwei Stücken diese in der Mülltonne entsorgt, auch aus Vorsicht sich nicht den Magen zu verderben Bei meiner ersten Beschwerde wurde diese vom Servicepersonal nur achselzuckend zur Kenntnis genommen, bei meiner zweiten Beschwerde mußte ich regelrecht darum betteln, dass ich - wir sind dort mindestens 2-3 mal im Monat und nehmen ausser Haus Ware mit - beim nächsten mal einen Ersatz bekomme. Nach längeren diskutieren der Servicekraft mit der Küche wurde mir dann gnädiger weise eine halbe Portion Maguro Sashimi beim nächsten mal angeboten. Kleinkarierter - gerade für Stammkunden, wir lassen im Jahr bestimmt 600,00 - 700,00 € dort - geht es wohl kaum. Ärgerlich und schade! Fazit: Achtung bei einer Bestellung von Maguro Sashimi: Diese könnte neben einem faden Geschmack, alt und nicht verzehrbar sein!

A good sushi shop in itself if it weren't for the fact that the Maguro sashimi tasted stringy, old and inferior for the second time and was therefore basically inedible. After eating one or two pieces, we threw them in the trash can, also out of caution not to upset our stomachs When I made my first complaint, the service staff only shrugged their shoulders at it; when I made my second complaint, I literally had to beg for a replacement next time - we go there at least 2-3 times a month and take goods away from home . After a long discussion between the service staff and the kitchen, I was graciously offered half a portion of Maguro Sashimi next time. It couldn't be more small-minded - especially for regular customers, we leave around €600.00 - €700.00 a year there. Annoying and unfortunate! Conclusion: Be careful when ordering Maguro Sashimi: In addition to a bland taste, it could be old and not edible!

The starters were delicious, the sushi was also good. For dessert we had the rolls - I haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time. Happy to come back!

Went to Osaka Sushi for the first time. Before, we only ever got sushi to go. - Wherever we were always very satisfied. From the outside the restaurant is very inconspicuous and you wouldn't expect such a top restaurant given the location...but- The atmosphere is very cozy. The waiter was very child friendly. There were children's dishes and at the end even ice cream for my little son. The sushi is one of the best sushi in the valley in my opinion. We will come back in any case!

Osaka Sushi doesn't look particularly inviting from the outside, so we went in skeptical. Inside it was a little nicer. But what ultimately convinced us was the very nice and friendly service and, above all, the well-prepared and tasty sushi. I especially enjoyed the fried gyoza, the spicy tuna and the cheese beef. I just love trying little things from a lot of things and here I get my money's worth. Thank you for a very delicious evening.

The food is top class. There is no skimping on the ingredients here. Very nicely presented, enough selection on the menu and good service. Unfortunately, there are deductions in the ambience, as there is a bit of a train station atmosphere. All in all, worth a visit.

Even if you go to an expensive hip star restaurant on vacation, you'll always be disappointed that it doesn't get any better than what the Osaka team conjures up on the sushi plate. Only waited about 20 minutes for drinks. Then the food comes gradually, without being asked if you want something more to drink, etc.? We waited almost an hour for the food. It doesn't work at all! If there are no staff available, you should just keep the shop closed before annoying guests.

I had one of the menus (108 maybe) the Lachs inside and out. It was excellent. Very fresh and didn't have a bunch of sesame seeds on it. Also, I very much enjoyed the Gyoza appetizer. Absolutely fantastic! By far, some of the best chicken dumplings I've ever had. Nice place with friendly staff. Prices more than fair. Will happily go again when in Wuppertal. Sorry, no photos. I forgot.

Sagenhaft gutes Sushi! Perfekter Reis und qualitativ hochwertiger Tunfisch. Kann man nur empfehlen. Auch die Pokebowl und das Kimchi sind mega lecker. Zudem guter Service und freundliches Personal. Ich gehe immer gern hier her, wenn es mich nach Wuppertal verschlägt.

Einfach nur sehr, sehr lecker!!! Die angegebene Abholzeit stimmt fast immer. Die Optik ist auch sehr hübsch. Mich persönlich würde es nicht in das Restaurant ziehen. Die Lage des Restaurants ist nicht die schönste und das Ambiente holt mich auch nicht ab. Dennoch ist es für uns das leckerste Sushirestaurant!!! Macht weiter so!!!

Vorweg: das Sushi war fantastisch! Ich hatte jedoch auch eine Bowl und die war wirklich sehr trocken. Ich habe sie nur halb gegessen (das Hühnchen war wiederum sehr gut) und das auch beim Kellner bemängelt. Als Antwort bekam ich nur ein kurzes „gebe ich an die Küche“ und dann wurde komplett berechnet. Ich bin eine Woche hier in der Nähe und wäre definitiv noch ein paar mal zum essen gekommen, so werde ich das leider nicht tun.

Mit Abstand das leckerste Sushi in Wuppertal. Bestellen da sehr oft und sind immer sehr sehr zufrieden. Früher haben wir immer bei Sakura Sushi bestellt und dann einmal zur Probe mal bei Osaka. Das war die beste Entscheidung. Sehr sehr lecker, frisch und der Service ist top. Weiter so 👍👍👍
