Super delicious sushi, creative creations, and very good, consistently high-quality ingredients and preparation for many years. After the renovation, the restaurant is truly beautiful! Bright, friendly, cozy, and clean. The service was always very polite, courteous, and fast. I always enjoy coming here when I'm hungry for good sushi and am always happy I chose Noi.

We've been here a few times now. The food is always delicious, no matter what we order.

The service is very attentive and always "nearby." We ordered a sushi platter for two. The food was super fresh and delicious. My only criticism is that they only accept credit cards. Otherwise, I definitely recommend it.

My favorite place in town. They only accept cash, but the Noi Best Friend Roll and Pho Bo are unbeatable. They also have a delivery service, which we basically use twice a week if we don't want to go into town for dinner.

A lovely place to eat. We ordered the Vietnamese Pho and cold Noodle. The noodle was good, and the meats were soft. But I wouldn't call the broth as my favorite part. It is pretty much mellowed down to catter the locals. I specifically ask to make it extra spicy but it is still not punchy. It is a comfortable place to catch up with friends. :)

It's fine that you can only pay in cash - it says so on the door when you walk in... but! Earlier we had 1x fried chicken curry (19.90), 6 kappa maki (5.00), fried buddha roll (12.00), a small Diet Coke and a small Spezi (2.90 each), a total of €42.70. When we paid at the table, we were told €70.50 please. Unfortunately, I didn't switch on the power button at all... We paid the total with a €0 tip, as we really didn't have any change left and usually tip properly. But that obviously annoyed the older head waiter so much that he didn't say another word (professional attitude!) Unfortunately, we only realized at home that the total couldn't be right. We checked again and did the math, and instead of €0, we tipped almost €30. Be careful when paying!

Great restaurant with sushi and Vietnamese food.

I was there with my wife for the umpteenth time yesterday. NOI is a world away from the 80s monosodium glutamate all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet. Everything is modernly presented, freshly prepared, and so delicious, I could move in and never leave. We each had a large mango lassi to drink, a starter, and a main course each. The price of just under €40.00 for two happy faces is more than fair. Fish is absolutely not a "must" here; there are dozens of other dishes. Although I'm not a fish eater, I love the sushi here. Tip: The Best Friends rolls are AMAZING. By the way: They even have sushi without fish, "Spicy Chicken Rolls." BIG BUT: Restaurateurs who stubbornly stick to cash-only, even in the advanced stages of the third millennium, are doing themselves no favors in the long run. Meanwhile, 44 percent of people prefer cashless payments. Those who continue to forgo card payments will increasingly encounter annoyed customers who have to run to the nearest ATM – or simply head to a modern restaurant.

The food was delicious there, the ambiance was great, as was the service. The only point deduction was that you can't pay by card.

We visited NOI for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled! Whether you're a meat, fish, or vegetarian/vegan, there's something for everyone, and it's really, really delicious! A few classic dishes you might expect to find at an Asian restaurant (but presented much more authentically), but there's also a great selection for connoisseurs of Asian or Vietnamese cuisine. The highlight, however, is the selection of sushi and other dishes. I had an incredible explosion of flavor at number 210 and would love to eat more. The service is super friendly and accommodating, and the price is definitely right. I'm already looking forward to the next time 😍

The food was really okay—nothing to complain about. But the fact that you still can't pay by card in a larger, modern restaurant in 2025 is almost admirably consistent. Perhaps the federal government should consider how to discreetly bypass the tax office with card payments. Then perhaps it would be offered here as well.

I thought the food was incredibly delicious. A good selection of sushi and hot dishes. They also offer fried sushi. I especially like the large selection of vegetarian sushi. The service was very friendly! I have two criticisms. The menus are extremely worn. They urgently need replacing! What I absolutely don't understand is that they don't accept card payments. I really don't understand that. One reason for me not to come back!!!

The price/performance ratio is no longer good here. The quality is suffering more and more. It's simply embarrassing that such a large and established restaurant doesn't want to accept card payments. PS: Your menus desperately need updating. Many are broken, faded, and simply dirty, garnished with leftover sauce. That's a bad start to a restaurant visit.

Overall, a very nice restaurant. The service is very friendly and very accommodating. I've been a regular customer here for two years now, and it's always a pleasure to visit. The ambiance is the highlight of the whole experience after the renovation, and the sushi is also really great!

I was there 3 times. Once I ate sushi, once spicy chicken curry and once a dish with flat rice noodles. I would see the sushi as average standard. Quality equivalent to what you can buy ready-made in the supermarket and looks exactly the same. At least that's my personal impression. Wasabi is only available in small quantities and there are better quality options. The flat rice noodle dish and the curry were quite tasty, but not outstanding either. I find the prices to be too high for the performance. Service was nice and attentive, the ambience is a matter of taste. The interior has seen better days. Unfortunately, someone other than the waitress came to the cashier, so I wonder whether the nice young woman, who probably hasn't been in Germany long, actually received her tip. The problem is that in a small city like Wuppertal there is simply very little competition. The one-eyed man is king among the blind.

The decor is beautiful and stylish! The space is spacious and inviting! The Vietnamese Pho soup is very authentic – absolutely recommended! The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and you feel completely at home. I'd love to come back!

One of my favorite places, absolutely recommended

We have been to many sushi shops but this was by far the worst one we have visited. We drove an extra 40 minutes, plus we spent 20 minutes looking for a parking space. The ambience was ok and so was the service but the food was a complete disappointment. We ordered 4 different types of sushi and we didn't like any of them. The slices were quite small and kept falling apart. I don't even want to talk about the barely there sauce. In addition, you couldn't even pay with a card. What century are we living in? For the money we left there we could have gotten 1000 times better somewhere else. The first and last time we were there, really a shame!

We couldn't get in without a reservation. We then made reservations online because the time was available. Went back and were still thrown out because there was no space available even though we had reserved. Never again !!!

The food was excellent as always and the restaurant was clean and first class. However, the service was a bit slow and not particularly pleasant. we had to wait a long time until our order was taken. Still, overall it was an acceptable experience.

I went out with my family on Friday, as usual at the end of every month, to have a nice evening The food was good as always, But we were surprised that the service was extremely poor. We weren't given any time at all We didn't feel like staying any longer and enjoying the drinks. I hope the issue will be resolved by the end of next month.

Unfreundliche,unaufmerksame Bedienung, fragt nichts ob es geschmeckt hat! Die Menükarten sind sehr abgegriffen und wirken schmuddelig! Essen ( miso ente) war noch nie so schlecht wie heute! One of the best sushi restaurant in Wuppertal. I always come here regularly. It also has Vietnamese foods. The staffs are really nice. The chickens are halal too. The only cons is that it doesn’t accept card payments.

Online gereserveerd bij dit grote sushi restaurant. Restaurant zag er netjes / opgeruimd uit, modern. Sushi gerechten erg lekker, ook het andere gerecht "eend" goed. Jammer dat er weinig belangstelling voor de klant is in het restaurant/ aan tafel, ober heeft alleen de bestelling opgenomen, niet nog eens terug gekomen of dat alles naar wens was en of we nog wat wouden drinken. Gek en vreemd dat we anno 2025 hier niet met een pinpas / card kunnen betalen, alleen contant geld.

I have enjoyed going to this sushi restaurant for years because the sushi and other dishes are very tasty. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer for your food, but that's completely understandable as the restaurant is often full. What is a bit of a shame, however, is the service: you often have the feeling that the employees seem rather stressed and want to process you quickly. In addition, even after several years, it is still not possible to pay by card, which is a bit inconvenient, especially these days. Despite these small deficiencies, I always enjoy coming here because the food is simply great.

The two of us went to the NOI Restaurant in Wuppertal and had a very pleasant evening. The restaurant was busy, which speaks to its popularity, and the atmosphere was welcoming with beautiful decor and comfortable seating. We reserved online about an hour in advance, but were not on the reservation list. However, the team found a solution quickly and easily - very commendable! We ordered: • 1x Baked Roll Fried Spicy Tuna Roll • 1x Sushi Mix Special (18 pieces) • 1x Fry Chicken Noodle The waiting time of around 20-30 minutes was completely okay, especially because the wait was absolutely worth it. The sushi was freshly prepared and tasted excellent – ​​just like the noodles. The quality of the food was convincing and the price was reasonable. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service, who took the time to answer our questions. As a guest you feel like you are in good hands. A small point to note before your visit: Unfortunately, card payment is not possible. It can also be a bit cool in the door area - but that didn't really disrupt our evening. Nonetheless, we’ll definitely be happy to come back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We ate at NOI again today. Super tasty food, nice service that is very attentive. When I go here I prefer to order sushi because it is very good here. The other dishes are also very tasty. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. We always enjoy coming here. Keep it up.

After eating Sushi with family (adults and small children) we got really ill. The component which was eaten by all, adults and children, was the rice. When plenty of rice cools down too slowly there is a risk of contamination. Terrible! Unfortunately, the owner was afterwards not helpfull to give us the feeling, that such a disaster for customers will be prevented in future (error Management missing).

Fantastically delicious! I also think it's great that it's finally been renovated. Things are looking orderly again in the shop. What absolutely doesn't work, however, are the menus. So you've put so much money into the renovation and you weren't able to reprint the parts? In my opinion, these things look so unappetizing that it really makes you forget everything. Fully smeared, bent... you've already decided on a super cheap solution with the printed sheets. It's really hardly worth printing out here again. The costs for this are almost zero... sorry, I have absolutely no understanding of this. What I also noticed last time was that a young waiter was constantly coughing. If you are sick, you have to stay at home, especially when dealing with customers. And if it's allergy-related or whatever, then you still cough into the crook of your arm... You could be the best sushi restaurant around if you change the little things...

I placed an order for delivery online, which was immediately confirmed by email. I then received a call and was told that the delivery location was unfortunately too far away and that the order would therefore have to be canceled. When I asked if I could pick up the things and the whole thing would be a little quicker than the confirmed delivery time, they replied of course that there was a problem and I would have to re-enter the order. When I asked again why this was necessary, I was told that a lunch menu was also part of the order and that unfortunately that wasn't possible because the pick-up would be after the lunch period (until 5 p.m.). Mind you, at the time of the phone call we were still before 5:00 p.m....

We ordered 4 dishes for delivery. The food was supposed to be delivered at 4:30 p.m. At 4:35 p.m. we got the call that the car was broken. Can happen. They wanted to deliver 10 minutes later. The food came 45 minutes later and the hot dishes were only luke warm. It doesn't work that way. Sushi was also ordered twice. That was very good. A car can break down, but a lukewarm meal isn't possible.

The service is also very quick and friendly. Now after the recent renovation, the guest room is again attractively designed with comfortable chairs and warm colors. The open kitchen has been eliminated, but on weekend evenings it is still only possible to spontaneously get a table if you have to wait. Better reserve. And still only cash payment possible.

Positive; The food seemed high quality, was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, you could look into the kitchen, it looked clean and professional, the service was friendly. Negative; No card payment possible, the menu was very worn and dirty, a simple DIN A4 sheet without protective covers, it would be easier with a QR code or simply reprint it more often. The waitress was very shy, he could have asked "Is everything OK, did it taste good, could there be anything else..." We'll definitely come back again, I can recommend it.

Four of us were there with our children in the afternoon and were still able to take advantage of the lunch offer. The order was taken quickly and everything was served quickly. Everything was appetizingly prepared, the warm food was nice and hot, kimchi was crunchy. Based on the Google reviews, we came up with a total of 4.3 and we completely agree. We'll come back next time we're passing through.

We ordered a plate of sushi for 2 + fried salmon rolls and they were really delicious. The plate is not enough for 2 in my opinion so consider that if you’re hungry. Our order took a good 30 minutes to be ready so calculate a little bit more time in particular if you want to eat Friday or Saturdays.

The food was tasty, fresh and not too greasy, but unfortunately the prices have skyrocketed! Overall, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is child-friendly. Now the accounting scam without card payment doesn't make a serious impression in 2024, but only 2 stars.

We ate at Noi today and unfortunately had a not so great experience. The sushi rolls (numbers 131 & 132) were cut way too thin, making it almost impossible to grab them with chopsticks without everything falling apart. Unfortunately, this really affected the enjoyment. It's a shame because we were looking forward to a delicious sushi experience. Hopefully the workmanship will be better next time!

Wir kommen seit Jahren zu Noi. Das Mittagsangebot ist top, mit Suppe,Tee und einem Gericht. Das Noi Best Friend Sushi, die Noi Frühlingsrollen und die gebrannte Ente sind unser Highlight. Allgemein ist das Sushi immer frisch, das Noi Team immer freundlich und wir sind stets zufrieden, wenn wir wieder dort waren. Absolut zu empfehlen.
