Osaka Restaurant in Chemnitz

Below average for Asian/Japanese restaurants. The tofu was standard restaurant tofu. The vegetables seemed fresh, but were somewhat flavorless. The sauce was actually solid, but I would have liked a bit more. There wasn't enough sauce for my rice. The decor is very simple and uninspired. I didn't feel like I was in Japan, more like I was in a regular restaurant. The servers were very friendly and asked questions often. Overall, a below-average restaurant experience.

Stumbled in here by chance at lunchtime and were very impressed by this cute restaurant. The food was delicious and cheap (there was also a small lunch menu), and the service was friendly! We liked it, everything was neat and clean - including the toilets - and fishing went well too! (You can get upset about anything...)

The food at Osaka is always delicious. However, there was always at least one hair in the food (even when ordered online). Again, this isn't really tasty. Please pay more attention to hair protection. Otherwise everything was great👍🏻

Today we spontaneously tested the lunch menu, udon noodles with duck and vegetables. The taste was very good, freshly prepared and brought to the plate nice and hot, and the quantity was also excellent. Thank you for the friendly service.

The selection of food is huge! The food was very tasty. Prices are very cheap for sushi and ramen. The ambience could be a little nicer and unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the main course. But in itself recommended for friends of Japanese food :)

Oh how much we love coming here... For us the absolute best sushi restaurant in all of Chemnitz. Not too many bells and whistles, but really good, honestly made sushi. Price performance cannot be beat. The taste is simply incredible. The service staff is friendly and accommodating. Absolute tip - salmon menu Bento 8 with homemade passion fruit and mint lemonade. We just love it 💕

The food is incredibly tasty and really inexpensive. It is cheap compared to other good Asian restaurants and has a good taste. There is a large selection of vegetarian dishes. The service is very friendly, but rarely forgetful. To pay you have to get up and go to the staff in the kitchen. The atmosphere feels cozy and the tables are not too close together. It is suitably furnished and decorated.

We have been going to Osaka for several years and have to honestly admit that for us it is the best sushi in Chemnitz. It is prepared with a lot of love and care, beautifully presented and super fresh. Price performance is also good and the service is also great. Absolutely recommended if you want to eat decent, fresh and good sushi.

Beautiful presentation, and we didn't wait long (during the day). The restaurant is inexpensive, the atmosphere is pleasant, but the furniture not the newest. The duck was delicious! But the Tom Yum soup seemed to be a bit small. However, the overall expirience was good, we liked it and it is close to the center.

We were pleasantly surprised. Friendly welcome and good service. We tried the sushi for 2 people and loved it. You shouldn't come hungry as everything is freshly prepared and the serving is a feast for the eyes. It takes about an hour to prepare but is worth the wait. Regarding the previous review: The aquarium was very clean!

We were here for the first time this evening and unfortunately we were anything but satisfied. The wait was really impossible. A short dinner was planned, which quickly turned into a 3-hour stay. Drinks and food were only consumed after 40 minutes. The drinks took another 20 minutes. They were very tasty but oh well. The food was finally brought to us after another 60 minutes. Way too much for four sushi rolls and a glass noodle plate. The food tasted delicious, but one of the sushi rolls had fish roe on it that didn't belong there. When I asked the service about it, they just dismissed it. No apology. Nothing. The service staff generally seemed quite inexperienced and overwhelmed. Our mochis were forgotten and only brought after we asked again. These weren't really tasty either. You didn't even know what you were eating because there was no description of what types there were. In total we spent €70 on fun. Never paid so much for such a bit of sushi. There is also an aquarium in the store, which has seen better days. Completely dirty, who knows when it was last cleaned. Animal welfare is definitely not the top priority.🐠🐟

Ich hatte vor kurzem einen alten Freund getroffen und da dieser begeistert von japanischer Küche (vor allem Ramen) ist habe ich diesen am Sonntag im Osaka zum Essen eingeladen. Ich wollte selbst die berühmte Bento Box sehen die das Restaurant auch anbietet doch nicht alles lief so wie geplant was vielleicht auch besser so ist. Warum? Das werdet ihr später herausfinden. Aber zuerst zum ersten Endruck. Sobald wir das Osaka betraten hatten gefiehl uns das Ambiente auf Anhieb. Die Holzästhetik und die asiatische Dekoration (einschließlich der Schwerter) war ideal für uns zwei und da wir früh kamen hatten wir das ganze Restaurant für uns allein. Mein Freund wählte den Platz beim Aquarium aus und während wir plauderten kam auch schon die Bedienung. Wie ich so bin bestellte ich bereits 2 Vorspeisen zum Teilen (Gyoza und Frühlingsrollen aber die Tintenfischringe klangen auch gut) und eine Mangoschorle während er sich erst einmal Sake (sehr interessante Erfahrung muss ich sagen, am besten Vergleichbar mit süßem Wein aber nicht zu süß wie Likör und nicht sehr Alkoholisch) bestellte. Ausserdem fragte ich die Bedienung ob sie Bilder von den Bento Boxen hätten. Diese verneinte, meinte aber dass sie nachschauen könnte bevor sie zur Küche ging... Um ein bestimmtes Problem direkt anzusprechen, nein ich hatte keine Probleme das richtige Essen zu bekommen. Das lag daran das ich mit der Speise selbst gleich die Nummer aufsagte während ich auf den Namen zeigte. Es kann auch sein dass die 1 Sterne Bewertungen einfach zu einer besonders beschäftigten Zeit (Feiertage) kamen und die Bedienung einfach überfordert war wobei ich an einem Familienabend im Osaka selbst Zeuge wurde. Also besser Mittags kommen um auf Nummer Sicher zu gehen. Während wir mit unseren Getränken auf die Vorspeisen warteten suchte ich schnell den Ramen Teil der Speisekarte auf. Zu meiner Enttäuschung stand nur eine Brühe zur Auswahl und die war nicht mal mit Miso, also fermentierte Sojabohnen. Stattdessen fand ich als Alternative Hot Pots, die ideale Mahlzeit zum Teilen, bei den Spezialitäten des Hauses. Als ich erwähnte das es 3 Sorten Fleisch enthielt war er sofort dabei. Nachdem wir den Hot Pot bestellt hatten kam auch die erste Bedienung zurück mit Photos von der Bento Box. Ich war enttäuscht. Anstatt einer soliden reisetüchtigen Verpackung waren die Bento Boxen nichts weiter als eine zu groß geratene Sushipackung aus Plastik, am besten vergleichbar mit einer Chefs Box aus dem Supermarkt. Wenigstens konnte ich von meinem Platz aus sehen das die Sushi frisch zubereitet wurden (eine Bestellung von einem Pärchen die Vorbeikamen als wir bereit waren zu Zahlen). Wenn man eine bunte Mischung von Sushi zum reduzierten Preis haben will ist diese natürlich ideal Doch nun zum eigentlichen Essen. Jedes Gericht war 100% selbstgemacht, ich kenne das Tiefkühlzeug und geschmacklich kommt sie dem Essen im Osaka nicht ansatzweise in die Nähe. Ausserdem empfehle ich die Saucen zu teilen, Gyoza mit milder Chillisauce sind klasse. Der Hot Pot war groß genug um uns beide satt zu machen, ein bisschen mehr Reis wäre aber nett gewesen. Alles in allem hatte ich eine nette Zeit Bedienung: 4/5 Atmosphäre: 5/5 Essen: 4/5 Gesammtbewertung: 4/5, jederzeit wieder

We've been enjoying going to Osaka for sushi for a long time because we really like it there. Unfortunately, the quality of the ambience had deteriorated significantly in between (there were only dishes made of hard plastic). We are very happy that Osaka has now improved tremendously. The food was beautifully prepared. And there were fancy dishes too :)

We ate here for the second time in a year. In 2022 we were really impressed with the presentation and quality of the food. Unfortunately this time it wasn't nearly as good. Even though we had to wait a full 2 ​​hours, the presentation was disappointing. The reason was a lack of staff. But if there are few staff there, I either can't fill all the seats or I have to make compromises in terms of time in the delivery service. Making guests wait that long is unacceptable. A pity.

Das Essen ist super lecker und auch angemssen schnell serviert. Zwischenbestellungen gehen mal verloren aber bei einer kleinen Erinnerung wird schnell und freundlich nachgeliefert. Ambiente könnte etwas schöner sein, es ist etwas veraltet und auch teilweise defekt.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da. Sehr freundliches Personal, die Reservierung hat ganz einfach über WhatsApp geklappt. Preis Leistung fanden wir sehr gut. Das Essen hat super geschmeckt. Allerdings fanden wir die Ramen Nudel Suppe etwas fad, aber mit nachwürzen ging es. Die Mochi habe ich zum 1. Mal gegessen und sie waren auch super lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall mal wieder

Im Restaurant standen wahnsinnig viele Boxen, sodass es sich total unangenehm angefühlt hat dort zu essen. Meine Sauce zu den Nudeln hat nach Menschenschweiß gerochen und mein Partner hat eine Pho Suppe bekommen in der noch in der Suppe das ungeöffnete Würzpäckchen von den Asia Fertigsuppen schwamm. Als Entschuldigung hat man uns Honigbananen aufs Haus zum Nachtisch gebracht, die wir nach den Geschehnissen nur sehr mit Vorsicht genossen. Auf Nachfrage wie sie ihre Mochis herstellen wurden nur die Schultern gezuckt und gesagt dass sie die fertig einkaufen würden.. stellt sich die Frage, ob hier überhaupt irgendwas leckeres selbst zubereitet wird..

한국인 입장에서는 음식이 맛있다고 하기 어려웠다. 초밥이나 일식이 너무 그리워질 때 기분만 낼 수 있는 정도의 식당이라고 평가하겠다. 독일인, 유럽인들 입맛에 상당히 맞춰진 것인지는 모르겠지만, 나로서는 아쉽게도 전혀 재방문 의사가 없다. 초밥, 볶음우동, 오리고기볶음밥을 테이크 아웃으로 주문했다. 메뉴판에 벤또 세트라고 표시된 것은 그냥 초밥 세트라고 생각하면 편하다. 일반적으로 한국인, 일본인이 생각하는 벤또와는 거리가 멀다. 초밥은 밥알 개수가 너무 많았고, 개인적으로 아보카도 초밥이나 크래미 초밥 등은 메뉴의 격을 낮추는 느낌이었다. 그리고 찍어먹는 간장이 너무 짰다. 볶음우동은 너무 짠 맛이라 먹기 어려웠다. 오리고기 볶음밥이 그나마 맛있었는데 나중에는 오리고기도 짠 맛이 너무 강했다. 식당 분위기는 동양풍을 내긴 하지만, 일본풍과 중국풍이 섞여 있어 개인적으로는 이도저도 아닌 것 같아 별로였다. 일하시는 분들은 친절한 것 같다. 늘 사람이 없어 텅텅 비어 있는 것 같다. 굳이 애써서 예약까지 할 필요는 없어 보인다.

Ein schönes und nettes Restaurant. Das Sushi ist gut aber nicht sehr gut. Wenn man vergleicht ist es besser als das Sushi im EDEKA/Rewe aber nicht so gut wie japanische Restaurants in Dresden. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Dennoch würde ich es empfehlen, wenn man einfach mal Lust auf Sushi hat.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir hatten zwei Vorspeisen und eine gemischte Sushiplatte für zwei Personen. Es war wunderschön angerichtet, keine lange Wartezeit, Service war ebenfalls top. Das einzig Negative war das Ambiente, das Lokal ist relativ alt, die Beleuchtung ist sehr schwach und auch die Einrichtung ist abgenutzt.

Heute das Osaka besucht. Das Sashimi was ich hatte super frisch und lecker. Die gebackenen Ananasringe mit Honig heiß, süß und lecker. Der Preis den Produkten angemessen. Wir kommen wieder. Und als Hingucker ein kleines Dampfendes Schälchen. Super 👍🏻

Das war ein wahres Glückstreffer! Wir war im Chemnitz mit hunger unterwegs, haben wir gedacht, komm lass uns mal ne echte Japanische Sushi probieren. Im Restaurant war nichts los / Sonntag mittag/ und deswegen haben wir ne Tisch sofort bekommen, aber ich kann vorstellen das öffter ohne Reservierung nicht funktionieren würde. Beim Bestellen haben wir den Ratschläge von den Hausherr gefolgt, und nach ein normalen Wartezeit haben wir den ausgewählten Platte bekommen. Den Essen war vollkommen ausreichend und optisch wie geschmacklich ein Traum! Wenn jemand im Asiatischen/ Japanische Küche was besonderes sucht ist hier Richtig! Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das mit Abstand beste Sushi in Chemnitz! Alles sehr frisch zubereitet und lecker. Die Optik 10/10. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und alles kam schnell an. Der angebotene japanische Tee ist mega lecker! Zum Ambiente kann ich nur sagen: Nicht zu viel, nicht zu wenig. Der Standort ist nicht perfekt, allerdings bei Abend dennoch ruhig.
