The food is delicious and tastes just like it does in Arabic countries. I always enjoy coming here. The prices are amazing too: €9 for a whole plate of shawarma. This is my absolute favorite in Darmstadt.

The food was incredibly delicious. I'm glad to have something like this in Darmstadt. It was freshly prepared, and the dip and some vegetables that came with it were also very tasty. The staff were polite but a bit reserved. The atmosphere was clean but not particularly pleasant. It's also a snack bar, so it's perfectly fine. You do have to wait a bit, but I think that's a sign of quality because it's freshly prepared.

The lahmacun had an unpleasant smell reminiscent of sweat and contained two hard pieces of cartilage in the meat.

Don't eat it! The meat was sour. I ate no more than a quarter and had severe stomach problems.

I really like the chicken based dish. Shawarma Teller is worth the try! I will always order this whenever I visit them 😄 Tip: don't sit inside or else you'll be smelling grilled the whole day!

The food is very very very delicious. I recommend the syrian and arabian and of course the others to visit this restaurant. There are many kinds of meats and falafel.

I'm in Darmstadt and it's my first time at Shawarka & Grill. I went to eat there with two colleagues. We ate 2 fries and a kebab.🥙 The quality of the food was outstanding and wasn't expensive either. 💶 The staff was extremely friendly and listened to the customers' wishes, as a customer you are the king there. The location is centrally located on the market square and the restaurant is very easy to reach. 🚗 Even though it is hidden by some larger cafes, it is still easy to find. The ambience is normal and furnished with standard furniture. That's why I give the restaurant five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and would like to give it a 10. Adios

Always beautifully presented, delicious, and fresh food. Keep it that way. The family platter is amazing, as is the tabbouleh salad.

Eat and make a mistake. Order the shawarma, I will eat it with pomegranate molasses because it is irresistible. We told them to put cheese with the shawarma for us. However, they did not charge more than the price of the cheese. + The prices are very reasonable. I wish they would not change it. + The service is very excellent and their treatment is respectful and sophisticated. + It has become our favorite restaurant. I ordered Lamb Shawarma. However, the meat didn't taste like lamb at all. Bread was also cold. Very unfortunate.

The food was good. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste, so the food alone would have earned 4 stars. The prices are quite okay. Service was okay but nothing special. Orders were taken quickly, but the friendly approach to customers could have been more pronounced. The ambience is the biggest weak point, see other reviews. If you just want to eat good shawarma in an uncomplicated environment, this is the place for you - it's not really suitable for a cozy evening.

We ordered 2 chicken shawarma. How can it be that both taste completely different? One was completely ok... the second was so inedible. The meat smelled bad or sour and the consistency was completely different. Inedibly simple. It's a shame that unfortunately spoiled our appetite. We will avoid this shawarma in future.

Schwarma was too oily and had no taste. However, the food came quickly.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, one of the best shawarma shops in the area is somewhat hidden here. Super tasty and freshly prepared. I like to eat the shawarma plate here. This is prepared with love and the side dishes are very fresh and delicious! Definitely recommended.

The only restaurant in Darmstadt where you can enjoy a chicken and meat shawarma sandwich, rich in meat and offering the original taste of Syrian shawarma. Best shawarma in Hesse! Really!!!

Schwarma was actually good, but there was a hair in one of the two we ordered, which can happen. After I mentioned it, I was first trained how it couldn't come from service (pointless excuse). You should have just accepted it, it can happen to anyone. But ok, we were offered a new one, but our appetite was long gone. In the end I had to pay for both schwarmas (including the one with the hair), which isn't okay either, but then at least I know I'm not going there anymore.

Ordered via Lieferando on July 26th, arrived cold and cannot be reached by phone. Tastes are different but the grill plate and the lahmacun were both inedible and sour?? Fries unseasoned and for €16 the portion itself is edible, a joke. Don't order here, according to the good reviews it's definitely more palatable locally.

Dirty shop and stupid employees. I ordered via Ubereats and when the third courier started delivery, I called them. The employee was rude and stupid, I explained to him that I had ordered something and he told me "we don't have it, cancel the order" and after talking to someone he asked me "hello yes"? When I asked if he could cancel the order, he hung up the phone. Never again

We ate here on a whim during a weekend trip to Darmstadt. Very friendly, large portions and everything is freshly grilled. Good value for money.

The schwarma pizza (€9.50) didn't convince me in terms of taste. The meat tasted like: Nothing to me. How is that possible? Simple: just bland, odorless and tasteless. Like I was chewing gray plasticine. Even the tomato sauce had more flavor than the schwarma meat. I picked it up 10 minutes before closing time. Does it have something to do with that?

They feel that you are getting bored and the last one is asking for the customer. May God not bless you, despite your lack of taste. By God, ordering from a stranger is better and cleaner. They respect the customer if you are not created to deal with people who are drunk and not open. You are cutting money and the food is cold. The food is really very tasty. I don't know what happened, but the prices at Lieferando increased by almost 100%. Lamb skewer has risen from 16 euros to almost 29 euros, kebab plate from 9 to 16, etc. I can understand that the dishes are a little more expensive in the app than on site due to fees, but I can't figure out why it's now almost 37 euros should pay twice, namely 67.50, for the same order. I hope it's a bug in the system...

Mein Rückgeld wurde bewusst nicht zurück gegeben deswegen 2 Sterne. Fand es ziemlich dreist. War einmal dort. Essen war "okay".

We have ordered Chicken Döner Teller, Döner box, Chicken Shawarma and Falafel Teller. None of us satisfied with the food. Chicken not cooked properly and not tasty. Salat also not that much good. Staff was impatient.

Übertrieben lecker. Inhaber Abdo und seine Mitarbeiter sind auch super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn ich in Darmstadt bin, ist das ein Muss.

Ich esse sehr oft mit Freunden hier. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Ich empfehle Shawarma Teller oder Broasted. Das Laden heißt Original Shawarma also es ist normal dass Döner nicht das beste ist.

Das Essen war an sich gut und relativ günstig nur sah es so aus als wäre das Personal schon bei 3-4 Kunden überfordert. Die Toiletten und die Fensterbänke können mal wieder gereinigt werden ansonsten schmeckt es schon gut. Bitte nicht falsch verstehen, der Laden war jetzt nicht total Dreckig oder so. Nochmal würde ich aber trotzdem hier nicht erstmal essen.

Das Fleisch schmeckt nicht, ausserdem hatte ich eine zitrone drin was sehr reudig war. Die pommes waren aber gut.

Erstes Mal war das Fleisch vom dönerteller gut saftig und Geschmackvoll. Beim zweiten Mal Döner bestellt leider wurde der Spieß schon zerkocht und wir haben nicht gesehen das uns dieses verbrannte Fleisch serviert wurde es war Gummi artig und hart. Die Soßen sind wirklich sehr schwach. Schade, dass erste mal war gut und jetzt auf einmal so.

Schlecht belegt. Überhaupt kein Fleisch mehr beim letzten Drittel des Döners... Nach Eröffnung hatten die sich noch richtig Mühe gegeben. Jetzt sind paar mehr Leute da und schon lässt es nach... Schade.

Update: Heute mal wieder vor Ort gewesen und es war mindestens genauso gut! Das Manakish mit Zatar war großartig und die Falafel diesmal würziger. Aber bitte auf der Karte ergänzen, das Mutabal wird mit Joghurt zubereitet, also nicht vegan! Authentische frische und selbstgemachte Speise gehen hier über den Tresen. Für mich gab es Falafel, Hummus, Manakish und eingelegtes Gemüse. Die Falafel waren schön kross und angenehm gewürzt. Das Manakish wurde frisch zubereitet. Der Hummus wurde mal ganz anderes interpretiert, für mich mit etwas zu viel Olivenöl und ein obendrauf ein bestimmtes Gewürz. Insgesamt war alles super lecker und definitiv zu empfehlen. Punkt Abzug gibt es nur, weil einige Speisen/ Cremes gegen 17 Uhr nicht mehr vorrätig waren. Aber ich komme sehr gerne wieder, um diese zu testen.
