Lezzet in Darmstadt

Went there for the first time today, Yusuf served us and we felt very comfortable. He gave us suggestions about what tasted great and we followed the advice and weren't disappointed. The steak doner meat from our own production is a 10/10. We will definitely come here more often.

Lahmacun was crispy and uniquely delicious, as were the Adana kebap and the lamb skewer, simply delicious as every time. The service at Yusuf was also super nice, everything in one was just great.

Excellent grill and eggplant. The waiters are always good at noticing your needs. The restaurant is definitely at the top.

Unsatisfactory dining experience. We were presented with used bread and the salad was not washed (small bug in the lettuce leaf). We were happy in the past but I can no longer say that today.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I had reserved a table, but when I arrived, my reservation seemed to have been forgotten. Instead of finding a solution, they simply wanted to seat me outside, even though that wasn't what I expected. I found this disrespectful and ended up leaving. Very unprofessional handling of reservations – this shouldn't happen.

Whenever we are traveling in Darmstadt we go there to eat and it is always a pleasure to visit this restaurant and we are always very satisfied when we leave the restaurant. We always order the grill plate and it tastes great, but the other dishes we tried were all top. We always enjoy coming back.

I can describe my experience if you wish - we were regular customers and ate at Lezzet almost every week... after my friend's graduation party we went there to eat as a family and it was so disorganized - my brother-in-law didn't get his drink, then 2 starter salads arrived for (7!) people... the food came burnt and at the same time I was told that my friend's food was no longer there - she had to eat alone and the food was partially burnt and inedible that day After drinks still didn't come, we paid in annoyance... the service was also annoyed but as an apology there was no discount but 3 rice puddings for (still) 7 people?! Since that day we haven't come anymore (It's been half a year, but the owner responded to my 1 star review and wanted an explanation)

The best restaurant I've tried so far in Germany. Everything is delicious and very fresh. It's top notch, including its salad, bread, appetizers and rice. The portions are also quite large compared to other places. We are also satisfied with the employees. I recommend :)

I had dinner there this evening and the kebab skewer was already taken down at 10:20 p.m. OK, I thought I'd order a steak and fries, so I got cold bread with dips... Pushed straight to the side! When the steak arrived I was really happy, but the anticipation didn't last long, the meat was poor quality and full of tendons. The meat was swimming in oil. So all in all it really wasn't good, apart from the service... I'd rather not say anything about that!

Fresh and delicious home cooked meals. A rare taste in the city center of Darmstadt.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Lezzet Restaurant in Darmstadt was a disappointment. There were three of us there and we ordered different grilled dishes (chicken and lamb). However, the food was so salty that we could hardly enjoy it. We reported this to the waitress, whereupon the restaurant manager came to us. Instead of responding constructively to our complaint, he dismissed our criticism and claimed that the marinade was always measured exactly and that there were no problems. After a long discussion, a new plate of lamb pieces was prepared for us, but it was also inedibly salty. Even when the restaurant manager tasted a piece and confirmed the excessive salt content, he remained unreasonable and responded inappropriately. As an alternative, he suggested hamburgers or minced meat skewers, which did not meet our expectations as we had specifically come for the grilled plates. After further discussion, we ended up ordering other dishes with a request to add yogurt to balance out the saltiness. But even here, the wrong dishes were served: Instead of the grilled plate we wanted, we were given a minced meat skewer, some of which was raw. The evening was over for us, but the highlight came with the bill: the restaurant manager wanted to charge us for six plates, even though we had only eaten two correctly served plates. The discussion about this took place in front of all the other guests, which was extremely unpleasant and shameful. Although the staff was understanding and friendly, the restaurant manager blocked any criticism and reacted inappropriately. In the end, the bill was waived out of nowhere, but we insisted on paying for the two dishes we had eaten and gave the money to a very friendly member of staff who we knew from our previous visits. We used to enjoy being guests at this restaurant, but after this evening we won't be visiting it again. There was a lack of service, insight and respect for guests. Very disappointing. ---- Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, your depiction does not correspond to actual events. We didn't refuse the bill - on the contrary, we paid for the dishes we actually ate and handed the money over to an employee we knew from previous visits. Saying that we were 'provided' with seven plates sounds like we were making an excessive demand - when we were served incorrect or inedible dishes, which is why we sought a solution in the first place. We have the impression that the responsibility for the disappointing evening is being passed on to us instead of dealing honestly with the criticism. Unfortunately, this confirms our decision not to visit the restaurant in the future.

Very poor performance and service. Here the employees are in charge of serving and clearing the table as quickly as possible. Customer satisfaction like getting a glass of black tea after a meal is also not possible here. Black tea is not offered here in order to clear the tables more quickly. I've only experienced something like that at Lezzet, it's just sad.

Darmstadin's most wonderful restaurant is a dining place worthy of ten stars, not five stars. It is a place where you can come without thinking about where to go. The food is very delicious, the doner kebabs are wonderful, the waiters are wonderful, practical, fast and friendly people deserve a thousand thanks. The masters who cook the food in the background are wonderful.

Food came late, meat was salty. The employee who served us was polite, but the others were shouting commands at each other.

Really good quality and different Döner as it is based on steak quality meat. One can really taste the big difference it has compared to the traditional Döner. Iskendar Kebab was particularly tasty with this meat. The restaurant is big with many seating options and has a good modern ambience. Staff is friendly. The Döner is a bit pricey, but that is to be expected for the meat quality they offer. All in all, it's definitely worth trying, and I would surely visit again when in Darmstadt.

I was really disappointed. The food tasted mediocre at best, the portions were far too small and completely overpriced. But what bothered me the most was that the staff watched you the whole time, making you feel really uncomfortable and unable to eat in peace. Absolutely not a pleasant atmosphere. I definitely won't go there again, 200 meters straight ahead and there's Antep and you can get everything they don't have here.

First of all, we were not told on the phone that reservations on Saturdays are generally not accepted. This would have helped us plan better, but it was agreed to, which shows that your restaurant is quite flexible. As far as length of stay is concerned, while it is common practice for guests not to stay indefinitely, it is also important to note that we arrived with a group of 19 people, which not only represents significant revenue for your restaurant, but also a was honored with a generous tip - which is certainly more than many other guests leave. Super nice service, all extra requests were fulfilled! Very courteous staff. Our main course was actually served hot, which is not a given everywhere. The starter plates were beautifully presented. So in general from the reception to the farewell it was very personal and polite!!! Thanks again to Özkan, who served us. I can recommend this restaurant!

We had dinner there on a Friday evening. The restaurant was very full, but after a short wait we got a table. There is an open kitchen where you can see how work is done and how clean it is. The service is nice and quick. After ordering there was a starter platter with 3 dips and some bread and a salad for free. That was very tasty and I liked it. The food was also super tasty. There was a minced meat skewer and chicken with fries. It was super seasoned and very tender. Normally I would give it 5 stars, but the things smell extremely like grease and food, so unfortunately I won't come back anymore and unfortunately give fewer stars. I just don't like it when you have to wash all your clothes, including your jacket, immediately after going to a restaurant. I was only in the apartment for a short time and unfortunately everything smelled so bad that it was unbearable. That's why I unfortunately don't like the concept of the open kitchen or that stronger ventilation systems or exhaust air have to be installed.

When we came for dinner, the taste of the meat was very good, the soup could have been hotter, but the taste of the kelle paça soup was also good. The katmer I had for dessert here was the worst katmer I have ever eaten. I hope you do better.

I ordered some takeaway early in the evening. I should wait at the entrance until the food is ready. To my right was the drinks counter, where a woman was handing out drinks to the waiters. At the same time, she got the empty glasses back from the waiters, which had been drunk by the guests. I had enough time to watch the woman do what she did with the empty glasses. She put them in the sink, let water run into the glasses for a few seconds, swirled them once or twice, emptied the water and placed them on the draining rack next to the sink. When the waiter came again and fetched tea, for example, exactly these used glasses were used for the next order. Something so obviously gross. Now the next guest was allowed to drink from the glasses that had not been washed properly. The same thing happened with the glasses for soft drinks. Maybe the health department should take a look here. In any case, for me it was disgusting enough to throw the food I ordered into the nearest garbage can outside!

Were here today in a larger group and had a great evening. The food was amazing. Super tasty and large portions. The meat from the Steak Dürüm was really outstanding. Top service. Fast, friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

The steak kebab with soft cheese was very tasty, you could tell that fresh ingredients were used.

We drove over 40 km and despite having a reservation (for 9 people!) we were told in an arrogant manner that there would be no more kebab meat at 8 p.m. and that the pizza oven had been switched off! We should take what is still there. I can't understand this behavior at all and will never go there again or recommend it.
