Orient Kitchen - fresh and healthy in Berlin

Wir kamen herein und es war angenehm kühl ( draußen war es 34 Grad heiß), wir fanden sofort einen Platz und bestellten es wurde frisch gemacht und war sehr lecker. Von allem hat mir die Mango-Sauce die auf unser Fallafel gestrichen wurde, geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und schnell. Nur Empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten Falafel, die zwar für 80 Cent pro Stück ganz okay waren, allerdings nur so groß wie eine Walnuss. Der Taboule Salat war für 4,50 Euro so klein, dass er in einen mittleren Pappeisbecher passt. Allerdings war dieser ungenießbar, da das Öl tranig war und der Salat garantiert nicht frisch zubereitet wurde. Den Hummus könnten wir mit reichlich Zitronensaft aufpeppen, da dieser ziemlich Fade daherkam. Kurzum, Preis/Leistung gehen gar nicht. Vielleicht sollte der Besitzer sein Essen mal selber kosten. Mit authentischer orientaler Küche hat das leider nichts zu tun.

Ich bin ein stammgast und muss sagen neben den tollen mitarbeitern, schmecken die shawarmas PERFEKT🫶🤞

Nebenan ist der Fontane Saal. Dort war ich zusammen mit 100 anderen auf einem 6 tägigen Seminar. Viele von uns sind schon in der ersten Pause gegen 10.30 h dorthin zum Kaffee gegangen. Klar dass sich auch mal eine Schlange bildete. Schon nach dem 3. Tag hatten sich die Orient Kitchen Leute gemerkt gehabt, dass ich einen kleinen Cappucino nahm (1 aus gefühlt 12 Kaffee Spezialitäten) und einen frisch gepressten Saft (Nr 5 von 5 Möglichkeiten), ich habe beobachtet, dass auch bei anderen unserer Gruppe so war. Das alles in heiterer freundlicher Stimmung und angenehmer Musik (z.B. Reggae).

Sehr leckeres, gut gewürztes Essen und immer schnelle Lieferung – ich bestelle regelmäßig und bin Stammkundin. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Portionen schwanken teilweise stark, besonders beim Verhältnis von Salat und Fleisch.

Das beste schawarma in ganz Deutschland,die beste Waffel überhaupt da kann selbst ein Waffel laden nicht mit halten Kaffee Tee alles super vom Service bis Ambiente einfach sehr empfehlenswert und im allgemein top. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Das Donnerstag duo ;)

Super nettes Personal, sehr zuvorkommend und gut organisiert. Selbst bei vielen Gästen stellen die eine unfassbar gute Geschwindigkeit hin. Und das essen ist immer gut, ich gehe hier seit 3/4 jahren Regelmäßig hin und es war immer super lecker. Es ist besonders auch für Veganer(Pflanzenmilch und vegane Essenvarianten) und Vegetarier (wie mich) geeignet und auch sehr preiswert. Fleisch und Vegetarisch kostet meistens gleichviel. Kann ich nur empfehlen mal zu besuchen!!!

Wir kamen aus Hannover und leider ist dieses Restaurant sehr schlecht. Wir bestellten Falafel und Schawarma, und beides schmeckte furchtbar.

Wir hatten je ein Schawarma-Makali Gericht mit Süsskartoffeln und es war einfach nur lecker. Die Herren hinter der Theke waren auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Schade nur, dass der Weg nach hier von uns zu Hause si weit ist. Sonst wären wir hier mindestens einmal in der Woche Gäste. Vielen Dank

Super leckeres Essen! Alles hausgemacht, von den Saucen bis zum Schawarmaspieß! Erstklassiger Kaffee! Praktisch immer gut besucht, trotzdem entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist stets sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Immer gut, Personal immer freundlich, selbst wenn nur Pommes oder Waffeln bestellt werden (Kinderfreundlich).

Wir haben am Wochenende dort für meine Geburtstagsgäste bestellt. Für fünf Personen und über 70€! Die Portionen waren einfach lächerlich. Die Salate bestanden aus einer wirklich kleinen Handvoll Eisbergsalat und einer halben Tomatenscheibe. Keine Gurken, keine Zwiebeln, nichts! und die Mengen waren auch wirklich nur als Beleidigung anzusehen. Die Pommes wirkten auch wie deutlich zu oft frittiert. Die konnte keiner essen. Es war mir total peinlich weil ich meinen Gästen vorher noch so von dem Laden vorgeschwärmt habe. Schade denn früher war der Laden wirklich gut und ich habe wirklich sehr oft dort gegessen. Aber das werde ich mir in Zukunft im wahrsten Sinne sparen.

Das Essen im Orient Kitchen in Berlin war geschmacklich in Ordnung. Allerdings stimmt aus meiner Sicht das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Wir haben über Lieferando bestellt und für zwei Shawarma-Teller mit Hähnchenfleisch sowie zwei Getränke insgesamt 35 € bezahlt. Die Portionen waren insgesamt sehr klein: Nicht nur die Fleischmenge war gering, auch Reis und Salat waren extrem knapp bemessen – nach zwei bis drei Löffeln war der Reis bereits aufgebraucht. Ich kann nicht beurteilen, ob dies daran lag, dass wir gegen Ende der Öffnungszeiten bestellt haben, objektiv war die Menge jedoch eindeutig zu wenig und man wird davon kaum satt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass das Essen schneller geliefert wurde als erwartet. Insgesamt kann ich das Angebot für den Preis nicht empfehlen. Für mich war es ein einmaliger Versuch.

Wir wohnen im Viertel und kommen seit der Eröffnung regelmäßig. Mit Abstand das beste Restaurant in der Gegend und in seiner Kategorie (orientalisch/Kebab) eines der besten in Berlin. Immer sehr leckeres Essen mit großartigen Gewürzen, ein sauberer und angenehmer Gastraum und unglaublich freundliches Personal. Absolute Empfehlung!

Das Personal ist super freundlich und das Essen fantastisch. Wenn man früh morgens vorbeischaut, kann man zusehen, wie sie die frische Hähnchenbrust vorsichtig auf den Spieß für den Schawarma stecken. So frisch! Und so lecker! Der beste Hähnchen-Schawarma, den ich je gegessen habe!! Ehrlich.

Ich habe mir ein Shawarma-Sandwich bestellt – und was soll ich sagen? Es war einfach grandios! Das Brot schön weich und trotzdem leicht knusprig, das Fleisch unglaublich zart und aromatisch, und die Soßen perfekt abgestimmt. Dazu kam alles frisch, warm und richtig appetitlich bei mir an – genau so muss das sein! Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Qualität und Liebe gearbeitet wird. Lieferung top, Geschmack top, Gesamtpaket top. Ich bestelle auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ordentliches Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Ich hatte Shawarma Makali (Fleisch und Pilze) und es hat gut geschmeckt. Mal was anderes als klassisches Dönerfleisch. Ein leckerer Imbiss, wenn man nach dem Schwimmen müde und hungrig ist!

Super delicious food at fair prices and first-class service

The food arrives quickly, is freshly prepared, and tastes absolutely delicious – whether it's meat dishes, vegetarian options, or side dishes, everything is spot on. The shop is clean and tidy, with a large enough selection for everyone to find something. A particularly positive aspect: the portions are fair and the prices are absolutely reasonable – you get really good food here at a fair price-performance ratio. Overall, a perfectly harmonious concept: friendly, delicious, fast, and clean. This certainly won't be the last time I'll be here. I definitely recommend it.

For €30, we received a soggy loaf of bread, a box of soggy fries, 4 mini portions with sauce, 6 falafel balls (delicious), a dollop of ganoush (delicious), two micro-sized salads, and the second main course (supposedly mediocre). Everything was less than lukewarm. Never again!! Delivery time: 1 hour (initially stated 20 minutes)

We come twice a week to swim and always get delicious food in the restaurant. The staff is super friendly, and the food always tastes great.

The latte macchiato is delicious, it would be better with cane sugar and a pinch of salt

I can't comment on the meat, but the falafel here tastes subpar. It looks and tastes like a convenience store item... the side dishes were okay, hence the 2 stars.

Lieferando Orders: we usually like their food but today, the chicken dishes were super salty! And delivery is ALWAYS LATE! Up to 30 minutes late past delivery time even though I order an hour ahead. They call to say they'll be there in 10 mins but it's always longer.

I ordered a shawarma plate, it was really disgusting. The meat was disgusting, the hummus sauce was disgusting, everything was disgusting. I think it's such a shame that I wasted my money, it's not acceptable.

I recently ordered from Good to Go. I also eat here regularly without Good to Go. My favorite food is the shawarma and the sweet potato fries. So if you like kebabs but don't necessarily want to eat kebabs, shawarma would be a good alternative.

However, given the location, it's a bit difficult to manage when the streets are busy. That's why, especially because the food is so good, it gets 5 🌟.

Orient Kitchen – A treat for shawarma lovers! I recently had the pleasure of trying the shawarma plate at Orient Kitchen and I can't rave about it enough! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by an inviting ambience that perfectly reflects oriental culture. The shawarma plate was simply to die for. The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. Each bite was juicy and full of flavors that immediately brought back memories of the Orient. The side dishes - fresh salad, crispy flatbread and a delicious garlic sauce - complemented the dish wonderfully and ensured a harmonious taste experience. I would particularly like to highlight the portions, which were more than generous. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and care. The service was also excellent - friendly, attentive and always willing to make recommendations. I can recommend Orient Kitchen to anyone looking for authentic oriental cuisine. The shawarma plate was definitely a highlight of my visit and I look forward to trying more delicious dishes. An absolute must for anyone who wants to enjoy the flavors of the Orient!

Very good restaurant right by the swimming pool. My subjective taste perception, the falafel are the best I have ever eaten. I find it difficult with falafel because there are so many different preparations and fillings including spices. So I don't know beforehand whether they are perfect or not. These falafels here are perfect for me. I can also highly recommend the shawarma, it still tastes so delicious there. The staff is also authentic and friendly.

After I had already ordered and was totally thrilled, I now also ate there. Of course just as tasty, super friendly and a modern atmosphere. Good toilets are also available through the adjacent swimming pool.

I was on a training course and ate my lunch here every day. Pre-ordered and paid early so I could enjoy lunch. The quantity is sufficient, the taste is great. Very freshly prepared and there is a lot of variety on the menu. The staff is very nice and really warm. The prices are more than reasonable for this quality of food. The only negative point for me is that the wasps always gathered in the sugar taxes on the table. Maybe you don't need that.
